Nick’s is well known for a reason. The space and waterfront vibes are great. The food is fantastic, and the drinks are also really good. We enjoyed both the shrimp mac and cheese and the crabcake. This is a great option for gameday or happy hour!

Great place to go with a few people. We (4) sat at high bar table which is first available no wait. Live music! The large crabs were meaty enough. Plenty of old bay on the crabs and salty. Loved the steamed shrimp, deviled eggs and chopped salad. I would definitely go back. Be warned parking is limited directly at the place; we did valet! There are a variety seating options but once full the wait can be long.

Google
One of the best seafood restaurants on the water. When you visit you will receive great food and customer service. They have a bonus which I love and that is sitting on the pier. My last visit some patrons pulled up on jet skis for lunch. I love to see people making the best of life and these gentlemen did it well. If you never tried a crab pretzel, I would recommend that you try it (preferably 2 or more people). It is huge and a Baltimore thing.

Google
Service was incredible. The food was mostly great -- the crab pretzel was my favorite. The shrimp Mac and cheese and the crab grilled cheese were a little on the dry side, and I thought the cream of crab soup was a little bland, but everything else was delicious and we left stuffed and happy.

My wife and I had lunch at Nick’s Fish House on the Bay. Loved the atmosphere — right on the water with a relaxed, casual vibe that makes you feel like you’re on vacation, even if you’re just out for lunch or dinner. Everything came out hot and fresh, the staff could have been a little more attentive we waited on condiments like ketchup pepper extra plates and cocktail sauce I ordered the fried oysters, and they were very good, breaded and fried to a golden crisp on the outside. My wife had the crab cakes, they were loaded with lump crab meat, very lightly seasoned. We also enjoyed a couple of drinks by the water and enjoyed the view. If you love authentic seafood, this place is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Nick’s Fish House is a must-visit in Baltimore! I started with the crab balls—nothing but seasoned crab meat and absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I had the fried oyster platter. Big portion, plenty of fries, and the slaw was on point. Great waterfront location, plenty of parking, and lots of space inside. Only downside: no reservations and not on OpenTable, so it’s first-come, first-served. But overall, solid spot with a wide variety of dishes (not just seafood!)—and they offer a military discount, which is always appreciated.

I haven’t been home to Baltimore in over five years. My friend suggested this place and we met there for steamed crabs. I can tell you that this place is amazing in every aspect the atmosphere the drinks the menu was extensive. They had so many options. Everything was hot and fresh. We had the crab dip which was so so good and we got a half a dozen of jumbo’s and a half dozen of large crabs. these crabs were perfection, hot fresh and heavy. It’s right on the water down underneath the Hanover Street bridge in a new area called the Peninsula. This was all new to me since I’ve been living in New York. This place makes me wanna drive back down right now the food was that good. The service was excellent. The waitress was extra friendly and I even got a bread pudding to go, which was phenomenal with the sauce and the berries this is a must stop when you are in Baltimore hands-down the new best place for crabs in my opinion.

I’ve been here twice before going to a concert at CFG arena. Amazing food and excellent service. Live music both times I’ve gone and it creates a nice experience. Also there is a second parking lot and a shuttle bus that takes you to the restaurant! 10/10 will return again!

Yelp
First time in Baltimore so I wanted to get something authentic from the area. This was the best choice we made. I ordered the seafood tower (for 2-4 people they say...they don't know me! Lol. ) it was awesome. Oysters and clams on the half shell, peal and eat jumbo shrimp, 1lb of snow crab, two huge Maryland Crabs cooked in OldBay, a massive pile of jumbo lump crab, and a really great cucumber salad. My wife (ovo-lactarian) had the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos. They were a bit on the "lot-a-hot sauce" side but she still liked them a lot. I had a really great tasting lager (that of course isn't available in my area (NJ)) from DBBrewing called Vienna Lager. It was delicious. The atmosphere was so perfect. Authentic boat house eatery right on the water/bay, it was absolute Maryland Bay Seafood Greatness. I highly recommend that you do not pass this place up when in Baltimore. P.S. our waitress was super attentive and had a great smile and personality!! Great Place!!! 100%!!!

Yelp
I came here a while ago for an event which was really fun. This time, I came back with a friend for dinner. We sat out in their heated tent and ordered their Boom Boom Shrimp to share. There were plenty of shrimp and the sauce was really good. For my entree, I got Nick's Signature Crab Cake which came with chips. There seemed to be a bit of breading in the crab cake. The chips were good and crispy. Overall, a decent crab cake sandwich. My friend enjoyed her Shrimp Salad Sandwich subsisted with fries. We also got a couple rounds of their Orange Crush which is one of the better ones I've had since it's made with fresh squeezed oranges. Service was fine and ambience was fun. It was chilly out so it was nice they had plenty of heaters to keep us warm. A fun place I'd like to check out again when it's warmer for waterfront views.

Yelp
Nicks Fish House, AMAZING!!! This spot in located on the water, I visited on a cold winter night so I didn't get the full view of the water but I can imagine on a nice summer day/night it being amazing. The parking wasn't too great due to some construction in the area but the food is what you are there for and it was great! We tried a few items on the menu and everything we tried was good! No complaints at all. The service was great, food great, everything great. I do want to definitely visit when the weather is warmer and during the day to get a different experience. Definitely recommend

Yelp
It's an updated review. The last reviews were ok and very good, but now they're more than good; it's excellent! The first time I was here was years ago. We've been coming since then. I returned with Hubby to get our favorite crabs with hammer LOL this time. Josh, our waiter, served us lunch. It was busy at the time due to lunchtime. We had two types of soup, the mixed and the crab soup. I loved the crab soup better than the one Hubby had, which was creamy and mixed with crab soup. We ordered the crabs. I lost count! We also had some fish tacos and the shrimp. Everything we had was excellent. The service from Josh was also excellent. The crabs and food were yummy! I can't believe how much I missed coming here, but just coming here and eating crabs is not easy. We'll be back when we pass by Baltimore or if I follow Hubby again. The restaurant is by the water, so we simultaneously have the views and good food. It's such a prominent place, inside and outside. Even the bar section is very big. The crabs were delicious. The way they were prepared was the winner! We get the flavor of the crabs and the seasoning in one bite. Try it!

Yelp
My crabs was so good. We had a really good experience sitting at the bar watching the game all the staff was accommodating and very nice. Wasn't too crowded .... I was very pleased.

Yelp
Hubby and I went on a day trip to Maryland from the Midwest just to eat and explore. We ended our trip here before heading to the airport. It did not disappoint. The weather was perfect to be outside. The staff was friendly, great ambiance to gather with friend's, family, or even a date. The bar was busy, several TVs to watch the games and the views were just an added touch. We were pretty full from our food tour, but we couldn't leave without trying some Maryland Blue Crab, especially when they're in season. Even though it was just us two, the minimum requirement is 6. I had 1 and hubby had 2. Yes, we took the 3 to go to bring back on the plane to finish it at home! It was flavorful, though seasoning was a tad salty for me, I just ate and dipped it with butter. It was sweet, yet subtle saltiness. Would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
The crab cake platter was amazing! The coleslaw had a nice snap to it. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. We got the crab cake fried. It was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside and was well seasoned overall. The sea food platter was fresh and the crab meat was fresh and sweet. The oysters were fresh. However, I wasn't a fan of the raw neck clams as it was rather fishy. The service was good with the waitress being attentive to our needs. One person in our party had food restrictions. The waitress helped us navigate the menu to order food well suited for the person. The ambiance was great. We sat indoors with a good view of the harbor. With NFL games playing on the tv, the place had a great sports bar vibe to it as well. Overall, I recommend this place.

Yelp
Love. Love. Love! Every dish we ordered was delicious and well portioned. The service was top notch. The restaurant is very inviting and right on the water. The mussels and crab dip is excellent. My pasta dish was everything.

Yelp
This is the place to go for seafood! While fresh caught crabs seem to be popular here, I came with a friend and we shred a few dishes. Have you ever had an oyster so big you had to cut it in half? Well that happened to us during our most recent visit! Their locally caught oysters were great. We also enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and crab cake, all of this was way too much food for two people but glad we got to try a few of their best dishes. I absolutely would come back!

Yelp
I can't believe I had never been here before but came with a friend and we really enjoyed it! Nick's Fish house was chill with delicious food, the service was incredibly friendly, and overall it was a good time! We came at the tail end of summer/beginning of fall and were able to sit outside.

Yelp
This is another one of my staple restaurants that I should have taken the time to write a review about. If seafood is your deal, then this place is the real deal. I had wanted to eat some "real" crabs all summer and had this itch (no comments from the peanut gallery) for some crabs. I had a friend turn me onto her favorite place in VA, and though they were okay, they didn't fulfill that itch. So, I decided to take myself to Baltimore, where I knew I could finally have what I wanted. I have a couple of places in my Baltimore seafood reservoir. But I decided today I wanted Nick's Seafood. I live over 40 minutes away and wanted to go someplace worth my time, gas, and energy driving. I started with an entry crabcake because I was trying to save all available space for the crabs. As you can see from the photo, I ate half of it before remembering I needed to take pictures; sorry. But it was so good; don't judge me. Just wait until you taste their crabcakes--no fillers. Then, please wait for it...the giant crabs. I was like a kid with a new toy. Every single one was heavy, meaty, juicy, and so damn good. Okay, can you tell I'm a crab lover? In my head, I was like Denzel Washington in the movie Training Day when he said, "King Kong, don't have nothing on me." I say, King Kong don't have nothing on these crabs; lol. I had a great waiter named Eric, who was professional, attentive and friendly. I had a window overlooking the water while I devoured my crabs. As you can see from the photo, "mission accomplished." What's so funny is that I concentrated on eating the body and left the legs to take home later as a treat. Other menu items I can attest that I've eaten through the years are as follows: Fried Oysters Crab Pretzel Fried Green Tomatoes Crispy Brussel Sprouts Okay, I'm going to stop here because I've had over half the lunch and dinner menu, and there is not one thing I didn't like. I don't need to tell those in the DMV to make their way to Nick's. If you love seafood, make this one of your stops when you are in the area. You won't be sorry.

Yelp
I rarely get to visit the East Coast, being from Hawai'i. First chance I had, I wanted to indulge in Atlantic seafood with my family. So, we headed to Nick's Fish House as soon as they opened on a balmy August morning. The restaurant has outdoor/indoor seating options and a second floor as well. We opted for outdoor on the ground level so we could see the harbor and gulls (don't feed them, they come in masses lol). It's seafood-kitschy, but not overdone. Our server was Tammilyn (I think), and she was on top of everything from making sure our drinks were topped off to getting our food out in order and on time, and ensuring we had the proper utensils. The food runners were excellent as well. We had the crab dip with bread, mac & cheese, and crab balls as appetizers. All excellently rich, fresh, and delightful. If Chesapeake seasoning is too spicy or salty for you, ask them to go light. For the main course, I had the lump crab imperial and split a half dozen large steamed crabs with family. The imperial came with a side of Chesapeake rice and spinach. Everything was seasoned just right, richly, and so good. Steamed crabs are blue crabs, so they break cleanly and easily with the provided mallets. The cold seafood platter (raw clams, crab legs, easy peel shrimp, raw oysters) is rather pricey ($85) but it's the freshest shellfish I've ever had. Bibs and roll paper ensure that your clothes and table won't get dirty. But I must say that several women in white dresses ate crabs at other tables and did not get dirty at all. I may need to come out east more often.

Yelp
Nicks is a place that most people rave about & say it's a must visit. The staff there were friendly and my waiter was efficient. I was not pleased with my food experience. I ordered the cream of crab soup and the crab imperial. I have never experienced so many crab shells in my food as I did eating both of these dishes. I LOVE crab dishes of all sorts (soups, imperial, cakes, etc) Every other bite (literally), I was picking a crab shell out of my mouth. I've never experienced this even with homemade crab dishes. When I informed the waiter, I was told the large amount of shells was because the crab is "hand picked" & he made it sound like a normal thing. The meat was clearly not picked well because this is NOT normal. Couldn't even enjoy my food because I had to constantly pick shells out of my mouth.

Yelp
I have been to Nick's twice - once when I first moved to Baltimore and again when I had family visiting. Nick's is quintessential Maryland, on the water, great seafood. Both times we had great service and food was yummy. It's also on the water and just FEELS like a summer day in Maryland. If you forget you're in Baltimore, you might think you're at the beach! Highlights for food: ANYTHING in the Diablo sauce. It is so yummy and flavorful. Not that spicy but just enjoyable. Crabs were fresh, steamed well, and we only got one or two not-the-best meat crabs. Calamari are small, but cooked well and crispy. Fry shrimp entree is great for people not wanting to pick crabs. Overall, highly recommend. They also have an overfill lot not too far away which is AWESOME.

Yelp
Perfect sea-side spot for a birthday dinner! Fairly reasonably priced for some high quality seafood - and based on the amount of tables around us that ordered the seafood tower, they do it really freaking well. The crab dip was an awesome appetizer - very generous portion of bread to dip, perfect for sharing amongst the family, and the char at the top was delish. My girlfriend and her sister LOVED the seafood pasta dish, cavateppi and seafood just hits right. My fish sandwich was perfectly tender, a large portion that felt fresh out of the bay. The tuna melt was wonderful too. Such a great sea shanty kind of shop with an awesome boardwalk alongside it perfect for bayside photos at sunset - and the nearby bridge adds to that aesthetic fantastically too. Would come here 100x over!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
I've been coming here a lot lately. The outdoor seating makes for a great environment, however they are slowly falling off as one of the better crab crakes in the city. I had the crab cake and it was not flavorful at all. It needed tartar sauce to taste like anything. In addition, old bay fries were soaked in old bay and barely edible in my opinion. Ive been told in the past that I cannot get the fries without old bay because they are pre-seasoned-- made no sense back then... but then they proceed to bring my friend out fries with no old bay after they just forgot to season them I guess.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -Nick's Fish House was perfect for me, since I was looking for some delicious blue crab. -When in Maryland, eat blue crab & you'll find plenty of it here. -I went for 1/2 dozen large blue crab, which were cooked to perfection. -I got a cool demo on how to crack open the shells & pull out the meat. -The beers on tap paired perfectly w/ the crab too. Overall, this is a very popular place, so good thing they have so many spaces to find a seat to eat at!
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Nicks was recommended by my niece when I was visiting. LOVED this place. We all did! The crab dip pretzel was as delicious as it was big. Definitely meant to be shared. The cioppino was spicy and amazing. Loved the outdoor seating. A must try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Visiting the Baltimore area and stopped in to Nick's for lunch during our stay. Super cool casual space with very warm staff and prompt service. We had to get crab items of course and Nick's did they so well. Highly recommend their crab pretzel appetizer, so good! We also tried their cream of crab soup, crab Cobb salad, and Crabcake lunch. All done wonderfully... Crabcake melt in your mouth goodness. Kids menu helped get our kids their usual favorites too- macaroni and cheese and cheeseburgers. Also have to shout-out their orange crushes- soo fresh and hit the spot after a long drive to the area. When we are in Baltimore again, this will certainly be on our list to dine at again!

Yelp
My family decided to try out Nick's for Father's Day since we all wanted a nice outdoor vibe by the water eating seafood. This was the perfect place. We were sitting outside but they have it partially enclosed with fans so you are not directly in the sun. We loved that. We all felt a nice breeze and could enjoy the full experience. Nick's also has live entertainment. Our server name was Kim. She took great care of us. All the wait staff worked seamlessly together & a manager even came over to the table. We all thought our seafood was really good and fresh. The crushes were decent too. We ordered a dozen oysters half Chesapeake/ half Choptank Sweets. The Choptank were our favorite. The crab dip was very nice & warm. I ordered the crab cake sandwich for my entree. It was just PERFECT with the Chesapeake Fries. I also tried the Brussels sprouts my mom ordered. They were nice, flash fried, with a bang bang sauce on top. I tasted some of my parent's peach cobbler dessert too. It was delicious! All in all, we really enjoyed our visit & can't wait to visit again. Make sure you go out back & take pictures on their nice pier or enjoy a nice cocktail!

Yelp
I love a solo date. Been to Nicks twice over the summer for a solo crab date and they were some of the best crabs I've had! I always get an outside table to enjoy the views. The crabs are meaty and seasoned nicely, and the service was awesome! This is my go to place to sit outside with a good view and eat crabs!
google avatar

Owen B.

Yelp
Super cool location right by the Chesapeake bay, loud environment with tvs for sports. Service was respectful. Food came out quick! The crab in our meals was perfect. Crab dip starter came out hot. Dip had a perfect balance between cheese, crab, and creaminess. Gumbo soup was rich and "full of goodies". Every bite had something to chew on. Half and half soup was a bit too brothy and less creamy than you would typical get for a seafood soup. Fish and chips was light and flavorful. Large portion as well. Nicks signature Crab cake sandwich was good, but the crab cake by itself would likely have been better. The cake was a bit too delicate to be handled as a burger. Salads were fresh as you what you would expect for the high price. Overall not the cheapest, but an awesome stop for those looking for a resturant specific to the area while traveling on I-95
google avatar

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Super cute and relaxed atmosphere. My girlfriend brought me here to get some seafood by the water. We sat outside on a nice, windy April day. (Luckily, the outside area is covered with plenty of heaters). We started on a high top table and were able to move tables more inwards when one opened up (you just had to order drinks or apps while waiting which wasn't a big deal). It was busy for a 2pm lunch and I could tell why. Every meal that came out looked delicious. We ordered the crab soup, steamed clams starter, crab grilled cheese and lobster crab sandwich. Out of all of this, I would say the steamed crabs (1lb) starter in chipotle lime sauce stood out! I have regrets not ordering 2 of these instead of my lobster crab sandwich. The lobster crab sandwich was fresh but I just prefer a regular lobster roll. Definitely order the clams in chipotle lime while you're here!
google avatar

Mariyam S.

Yelp
A solid local spot that does not disappoint. It's a no frills, get your hands dirty, kinda place. Summer is obviously the best time to come here, given their waterfront location. Whenever someone from out of town is visiting, we bring them to Nick's Fish House for an authentic Maryland crab experience. I love getting the outdoor table seating just by the water. The service is usually great (sometimes gets bit slower when its busy). The crabs always deliver. They have great salad options too, and the crab cake is delicious. Drinks are good. The live music can at times get so loud that keeping up a conversation becomes tiresome. Otherwise, great vibe.
google avatar

Samantha K.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVED Nick's Fish House. It has a perfect tropical vacation vibe. Great live music, great views of the harbor, and great food. We split the boom boom shrimp for our app and it was so fresh. I ordered the mahi mahi fish tacos for my entree and they were the BEST fish tacos I have ever had in my life, no joke. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Anthony R.

Yelp
This place has both indoor and outdoor seating by the peninsula. The atmosphere was like a party as there was an Orioles/Yankees game later that afternoon. Plenty of TVs, shade, and bar seating throughout. Everything we ordered was delicious! The gumbo and chowder were extremely rich, the steamed clams were refreshing, and the crabs were an unexpected workout with a tasty reward. Don't be intimidated by the long time. This place is so big we hardly had a wait time!
google avatar

JRose B.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday based on my aunt's recommendation and it was a great choice. It was quite busy when I first arrived Sunday early evening given there were limited parking spots, but luckily I found a spot in the lot. There is indoor and outdoor seating available, but outdoor seating was taken so I sat indoors. There's live entertainment indoors at another section of the restaurant but I sat further away. My server Ashley was very nice and answered all my questions about the menu. I chose to get the crab pretzel for an appetizer and the seafood platter as an entree. The crab pretzel was very good and had a perfect amount of cheese. The seafood platter was pretty good, but I would've preferred if my crab cake was broiled longer. It felt too soft at the top and I was hoping for a little crunch when I bit into it. The Mahi mahi fish was too tough for my liking. But the shrimp and scallops were excellent. For dessert I got the apple cobbler and it was super delicious. I could taste the nutmeg and yummy baked dough. Highly recommend if you like sweet desserts. Overall, I give this place 4 stars and would return when it's not as crowded.
google avatar

Tatiana N.

Yelp
Delicious food! The waitstaff was nice and they make a great orange crush. The building is a bit of a maze, but that's not a negative thing. The only reason I am giving four stars is because they are prone to long wait times, but only have two benches for waiting.

Yelp
Tip: order appetizers to share while you wait for your steamed crab. Who doesn't love Nick's Fish House!? This will be short and sweet since I'm confident Nick's doesn't need much clout it doesn't already have. From a great location right off the highway, off the water, to indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Both indoor and outdoor spaces have a bar and lots of seating. The outdoor dining space has heating elements for chilly days or nights. Naturally we came for the seafood. We got steamed crab and a crab cake. Nick's does a great job seasoning the crab. The crab cake was delicious as well. The cream of crab is perfect and the crab fries fit the bill. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to your bread pudding. You won't regret it! Overall I enjoy Nick's Fish House. The staff can be more attentive. I'm not sure if each staff member cover sections both indoor and outdoor, however it can use a more streamlined process of how they manage their tables. From observing it wasn't only our waiter; most tables had gaps of when the staff checked in on the table. However, the food was good and I wasn't in a rush, so I wasn't bothered by the lag of check in. Others' faces may have not agreed based on their expressions. I'll still be going back!
google avatar

Joya S.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant on a beautiful day where I could sit outside by the water. Service was a little slow but it was pretty busy. Crabs and ahi tuna tasted great. I typically like oysters but I thought these ones had a weird taste. Someone else tried them and said they were fine though.
google avatar

Jess K.

Yelp
Perfect for a scenic and more traditional Baltimore meal! Came in tonight with some colleagues. We would have love to sit outside and take in the views of the water, but it was about 95+ out and inside was a better option for the weather. The dining room didn't disappoint with its large windows. However if you're looking to chat, it may not be the best option. It was a little loud and the folks in the middle of our 6 top often had to repeat what was said to our friends on the ends. But if you're looking for a crab cake ... YES! We got a pretty decent cake packed with crab meat, really good coleslaw that wasn't over done, and plenty of fries. 5/6 of us ordered that while the other ordered the salmon over rice, which she said was good! We split the steamed shrimp which I loved! The seasoning is definitely a little spicy so if you're not into that you may consider passing. We didn't do the steamed crabs, but almost every other table was! They looked amazing! Service was good, nothing to complain about there. They allowed us to take our time with the menu and didn't rush us out. Will definitely go back and recommend to others for a great crab cake!

Yelp
One of my wife and oldest daughter's favorite seafood shack in Baltimore. Located next to a marina, it had a fantastic waterfront view. Plenty of seatings with a spacious indoor dining room and an extremly large heated outdoor tent. Parking was easy with a large free parking lot. We started with a large crab stuffed pretzel. There was a good amount of delicious crab meat, but the pretzel could be warmer. The salty pretzel complemented the crab meat well. For our entrée, my wife had the 1/2 crab soup and 1/2 cream of crab. The soup was delicious, but not much crab meat. My daughter went with fried oyster plate with fries and coleslaw. The oysters were large and nicely fried with beer batter, I think. I tried one and it was juicy and full of oyster flavor. The fries were delicious, but the coleslaw was naked and bland. Coleslaw needed mayo or vinegar dressing. My plate of steamed half pound of mussels and half pound of clams in chipotle lime sauce was absolutely delicious. The fresh shellfish was steamed perfectly and that sauce was so addicting. I was dipping bread, crackers, and fries in that sauce. Prices were very reasonable for the high quality seafoods. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We definitely return.

Nick's is always good! Great views, food, and service! Went with some friends and we all enjoyed our food and drinks! Of course I forgot to take photos of our cocktails, but they were amazing! To end the dinner we split a strawberry smith island cake, which was so yummy!!!

Yelp
Visiting from San Diego, CA where there's an abundance of fresh seafood from the Pacific Ocean, Nick's was a little disappointing. We wanted to try the blue crabs, but did not have any. They were also out of a couple of different things so the visit didn't go as planned. We got there around right when they opened so maybe the fresh seafood wasn't delivered yet? IDK whatever. The rest of the food we tried was really good! We tried a bunch of different options such as: their famous Crab cakes - the table's favorite dish! The crab dip was also delicious- get an extra serving of bread, trust me, the carbs are worth it! Tried their Seafood "platter." That is in quotations because it is most definitely not a "platter," well by my definition anyway. It came with about 3-4 pcs of shrimp (nothing special), 3-4 pcs of scallops (nothing special either) half a tilapia & a crab cake along with two sides... Now you tell me if that sounds like a platter. It wasn't. I got full off the side dishes more than then entrees. Anyway, our waiter was cool. Gave good recommendations of local beers. The food just fell short of our expectations, but all in all it's a decent restaurant. The view was great, now that gets 5 stars! The ambiance was chill & I can see this place getting busy especially on the weekends.

Yelp
Came here for lunch during our trip and it didn't disappoint. It's a huge space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoors since we came from the playground. Our server, Chris, was nice and offered suggestions of what to get. The grapefruit crush was off the chain and refreshing. So glad I got that. We got the clam pretzel and it was so huge, enough to share. Our girls loved the Mac and cheese. The views are nice but the water is so dirty.

Yelp
This place has such wonderful views, great live music, and great customer service. The food fell very flat for me. I ordered Choptank and Chesapeake Oysters. They had no exquisite or defined flavor profile... they actually both tasted the same which was odd considering they definitely weren't the same. No salty nor sweet buttery flavor, just bland. I then had the crab cake (no seasoning and too much filler for me!), scallops (cooked perfectly), and sautéed veggies and spinach... which were both pretty tasty. I also had margaritas and couldn't really taste the alcohol. I don't think I would get that again... the drinks seem a bit watered down, for instance, they brought my "neat" grand marnier out shaken, which was technically a half shot :/ Afterwards, I enjoyed the beautiful pier which is lit up at night. Things to note, this place gets very busy! Parking can be difficult if you come during peak times. I would totally come back to this place for the vibes and the views. I wouldn't order the oysters, drinks, nor crab cake, but I would explore some of the other menus items as my dinner company thoroughly enjoyed their crabs.

Yelp
Great seafood! Enjoyed everything we ordered, particularly the oysters, mussels, and calamari. The drinks are good as well; I ordered an orange crush which was refreshing on a warm day. Service is quick which is important because there were a lot of people at the restaurant. Since it was a beautiful day, we sat outside under a covered roof and enjoyed the view.

Yelp
There's something so special about eating fresh seafood in a tent with a view of the water. Whether it's soup or crab dip or crab balls, or anything else, the food and the rustic ambiance (and the attentive but non intrusive service) will make for a wonderful meal.

Yelp
This was absolutely amazing and will be back. I LOVE a good fried green tomato. The fried green tomato's were cooked to perfection and they were topped with delicious lump buttery crab meat. That was actually one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. My man had the XL blue crabs. They were delicious. Expensive but delicious. A dozen of the XL was $150 a dozen of the jumbo was $170. I had the crab grilled cheese sandwich. It was okay. The. Read was a little sweet for me. But the sweet potato fries were so good!! Anyway... we will be back. This is a must!!

Yelp
Nicks Fish House was on point. There was plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The vibes were great and the food was delicious. I had the steamed mussels & clams in the Diablo cream sauce. The sauce was amazing and they gave 4 pieces of delicious toasted bread. My friend had the crab cake sandwich (broiled) which was delicious! The condiments were super fresh, and the homemade tarter sauce was delicious! Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The game was on and the vibe was casual. The service was great! I'll definitely back to Nicks and next time, I will be getting crabs.

Yelp
Nick's is a great place for a business lunch or dinner date. They have great food, service, and water views. The prices are moderate but you can find something for every budget. We went for lunch on a Wednesday and found it was really nice. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the views. If you're in Baltimore it's a must visit.

Yelp
I love love love this place for seafood in Baltimore. They have nice size crabs for a decent price, the drinks are amazing. The service was really good even when they are busy. They have plenty of seating. They also have life entertainment on some days. I recommend this place for you seafood lovers.

Yelp
This restaurant is a bit far from downtown Baltimore, but worth visiting! Especially, the poached pear and pecan salad was excellent. The poached pear reminds me of the pear dessert which my mother made in autumn when I was a child. The fried oysters were also delicious. I asked them to change French fries to seasonal vegetables. Carrot and zucchini were sauteed with garlic, which were savory. The crab cake was also tasty. The ocean view from the table was great and the person who took my order was nice. However, I was surprised to see that soup, salad, and main dish were served simultaneously by another person. If they were served one by one, this place would have been perfect. Anyway, their dishes and ambience were great!

Yelp
If you want steamed crabs with a lovely marina view, Nick's is the place for you! They're not cheap, but they are big and perfectly seasoned.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things! This place was PACKED so people could watch the Ravens stomp on the Bengals and yet we were seated rapidly and got our food super fast. Kids were very content with some hot dogs and French fries and wifey and I split the boom boom shrimp (super fresh) and she had the blackened fish tacos while I had the shrimp and grits (I can't get enough of this) All in all, a great visit. Outdoor seating is very comfortable, even on an overcast day.

Yelp
I loved the vibe of this place! Even though we came on a pretty cold and rainy day, the outdoor seating was covered and had plenty of heating (maybe even a little too much). Also, there was live music which was a plus. Parking was great too. As for the food, my group ordered crab, shrimp, oysters, fries, and corn. The seafood felt very fresh and cooked to order -- The old bay seasoning complimented the seafood very well. We also got some of their "crush" drinks which were delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend everyone to check it out!

Yelp
Love the vibe and energy this place is giving with the life music. Sitting at the bar to eat, all 3 bar staffs didn't seem to enjoy working here though. Very busy and popular spot, seems like a must visit when in Baltimore. Maryland Blue Crab - have to order min. 6 of them, not loving the idea as it's hard to try more stuff with solo or 2 traveler. Crab itself is fresh as expected, very good. But then through half way we got a bit tired of the straight old bay seasoning. Fresh Clam - good but though it was live clam. Gumbo - good as a gumbo.

Yelp
Really good spot with an awesome vibe and view. I arrived with a potential employer for a business lunch. I am not from the area so she offered Nicks for lunch. I asked what she recommended, she said the crab cakes are always good. Although there was a catfish po-boy special I had my eye on. The server was attentive and friendly. He came and took our drink order 1st. Then my potential boss asked if I ever had fried green tomatoes which was also a special. I never did. She ordered FGT as an app. And then the server came back and took our lunch order. I asked if he preferred the po-boy or crab cake. He said the crab cake and proceeded to ask how I'd like it cooked, fried or baked. I asked for classic which was baked. The app came out quick. Fried tomatoes topped with lump crabmeat. They were delicious. I wish I wasn't on an interview so I could get dirty and really be a slob. But I had to maintain composure and act accordingly. The crab cake sandwich came out with fries which were loaded with old-bay. Really good. All in it was an enjoyable lunch. I saw some ppl eating crabs which I'd love to try but clearly not the time.

Yelp
Baby's first time in Baltimore. It's me, I'm baby. Our local friends said this was a great spot for drinks and food and man they weren't wrong. This is a GREAT location. right on the water, tons of room. It felt like a big party, like everyone knew each other or something. If you know me, you know I love oysters so I had to do it up with some oysters. Really tasty and fresh! The crabcake was....out of all of the crabcakes I had during my trip here, the best crabcake by FAR. Can someone please ship me some crabcakes? That would be great, thanks. This was also my favorite orange crush of the trip. A lot of favorites to be had. I would absolutely come back here shall I ever find myself back in B More!
