"Like your favorite Sunday gravy, Nick's offers approachable Italian-American fare in a relaxed and unpretentious setting. Rich and satisfying dishes include the bucatini carbonara, eggplant parmesan, or ricotta gnocchi. Friday nights are for clams and on Saturdays, porchetta." - Josie Sexton

This is a regular spot for my husband and I for our anniversary, and it hits the mark every single time! The short menu means everything is made at an impeccable standard, and it shows. We started with the fried mozzarella then had the lasagna and chicken piccata & it was so delicious - as expected. Thank you, Nick’s and all of the great staff, for always taking such great care of us!

How are you gonna miss this place? Nick has worked so hard to keep this place a float in one of the hardest restaurant markets in the country. That right there should be an award. The great food, the great atmosphere, the great staff is what makes this place the nugget that it is in Fort Collins. Love this place and I’m sure you will too, swing on in for some really great food and good times!!

First time in and overall was a good experience, staff was friendly, The booth we sat in felt like the cushions were worn out. The food was good I didn't care for the garlic bread it was more like toasted butter bread but good just not garlic ( it's miner but I like garlic) Food was a little slow to come out but again miner

Went to Nick’s for a kids birthday. We ordered and proceeded to wait 70 minutes for kids food, pizza and buttered noodles, to arrive (we had asked for these to arrive as soon as they were ready). No communication from the kitchen/waiter. Our food took longer. Pizza was burnt and hard as wood. Burgers ordered medium rare arrived well done and tasted like charcoal on the edges. We have been going to Nick’s for years and are sad that this is their current quality.

This is my second time having their chicken piccata, and it was so out of the park good once again. Way better than anything I could make at home, and is honestly probably my fav meal in town. Nick’s is our favorite Italian, the restaurant has such a nice vibe, the food is great and the servers (we had Ava this time) are so friendly, prompt, and communicative. Bonus points for playing Tame Impala and MGMT

The lunch offerings are amazing for the price and what you get. The sandwiches are huge and filling. The potato chips are to die for. Love the salted chocolate chip cookies. The service is great. I’m REALLY looking forward to dining in for dinner sometime as the burgers and carbonara are calling me. Seriously I don’t know why people would go to a chain sandwich shop with Nick’s around. Delicious Italian, Cubano, turkey club! Thank you for existing!!!

I’m a little confused at the good reviews for this restaurant. I get the impression it’s a locally owned place ran by good people so I do appreciate that. That said, I am pretty disappointed in the food. For example, we were served a pizza that was covered in burned Brussel sprouts that were also soaked in nasty fry oil. So it was a mediocre greasy cheesy pizza covered in extremely greasy burned black Brussels sprouts. Salads are ok. Plain and a bit boring. I just think they need to put a little more attention into the execution of their ideas. If you want to make a pizza with crispy Brussels sprouts on it, don’t burn them in the deep fryer. If you want to offer a nice salad, throw some fun fresh veggies in there and make it a little more exciting. We went a different time and had the chicken piccata and the dish overall was just meh, and the orzo was totally under cooked and crunchy. Another chicken dish came with latkes that were also very greasy. Will not be back to Nick’s.

The service was good. For the price point we expected more from the food. The carbonara noodles were good but a little cold. The burger was decent and the raspberry sorbet was excellent. The cheese board was tasty, especially the honeycomb. We got the surprise 2% kitchen charge which when looking back is mentioned in the fine print on the menu. It should be included in the price but they are admittedly already high.
