"Chef Nicolas Delaroque’s creativity is more precise and focused at Nico’s new home in the Financial District. The prix fixe tasting menus are a steal, and the menu, though changing nightly, is consistently composed to awaken all the senses." - Andrew Dalton

Casual, but elegant atmosphere. We had the surprise 5 course tasting menu. Each dish was flavorful, balanced and top quality. We tried things we would have never ordered had there not been the surprise option. The wine pairings were spot on too. Great service and great smelling soap in the restroom.

The hostess was great about getting us a seat when a reservation didn't show, and our server was very friendly. The portions were not quite what one would expect for the prices. The menu was designed to "create interaction between patrons and the servers," however the way it did that was by not putting enough information on the menu. The attention to details of the servers' uniforms was really, really, nice. The food was tasty, but the space was much smaller than I'd expect.

Food was delicious. Pleasant, upbeat atmosphere. Boisterous, if not slightly cacophonous. Menu had wine pairings. Pairings suitably delectable. New menu every day. If vegans call ahead, chef can accommodate in daily menu. The place was packed. Sat at bar. Down-shifted to vegetarian. Had soup, salad, an appetizer or two, and two paired wines. $90 after tip.

The food and wine are not bad but not spectacular either. I think they are quite expensive for the same quality of food I could get somewhere else. The dishes are style over substance. The service and ambiance are great though. Will I go again? Probably not. I have many more to try out before I need to come back to this one.

Classy little eatery tucked away in Lower Pac Heights. They gave us cute personalized menus for our anniversary, which was a really lovely added touch. The pate and squid appetizers were both good, not great - just a touch bland. My cod was cooked beautifully but my fiance's lightly medium-rare pork won the show. Perfectly pink with delightful accompaniments. Both desserts we ordered were also spectacular. No liquor here, but a really on-point wine and dessert wine menu!

Great quality food - creative and tasty twist and for a great price. Nice wine list including couple champagne options. Service super attentive and friendly. Will be back!

Wonderful food, tasting menu quality without the prices. We tried the Sardines, leeks, pork, lamb and Halibut. All cooked to perfection with light sauces Creative menu without being too sophisticated

A spectacular meal, with inventive and exciting food. The flavors were modern and interesting, but so carefully balanced that they were seamless. And the wait staff was attentive and professional, as well as friendly. We will be back!
