I’ve been one of their loyal customers since (maybe around) 2017, back when they were still on Jalan Dewi Sita; so it’s definitely one of the best bars in Ubud. I used to love their Number 6, and I’m glad they still have Ashes on the menu. I also love how much effort they put into creating a story in every drink. I always bring my friends and family here whenever they’re in Ubud. A bar that truly feels like home.

From the outside, Night Rooster has a dark, almost mysterious look — you might walk past without knowing what lies within. But step inside and you’ll be thoroughly surprised. The space is intimate and stylish, and the signature cocktails are works of art: creative, beautifully presented, and inspired by local folklore. They highlight Indonesian ingredients with unique infusions, making each drink as much a story as it is a taste experience. The crystal-clear, sharp ice adds to the visual appeal and elevates the drinking experience even further. Aesthetic, narrative, and flavor all come together perfectly. The best part? The prices are incredibly reasonable for this level of craftsmanship. An absolute must-visit in Ubud for cocktail lovers.

This shop is worth better scores on Google! I have tried quite a few cocktail bar in so called Asia top 50 and this is the best! This menu and drinks are so dedicatedly thoughtfully crafted and offerred!

We had a wonderful evening at this cozy bar. Cocktails of highest quality, super friendly staff, great atmosphere. A speakeasy with big city vibes.

Behind each cocktail is an Indonesian folktale or supernatural story, thoughtfully curated for a unique experience. Every drink here is a work of art to be appreciated and conscientiously consumed.

Cocktails, service and food here was all excellent👌🏻we came in for a drink and left after trying 3 each 😂 not the cheapest but worth the experience. The beef kofta was yummy and they had some awesome sandwiches on the menu that we will have to come back and try.

By far the most inventive and creative cocktails in town. Recommended by the world’s best 50 list this place doesn’t disappoint. Every drink is an experience that takes you through a mental and emotional journey via the exploration of your senses. Also the vibe is dope and the prices are more reasonable than most normal bars in town. Definitely recommend going here. Also happy hour from 5-7 is definitely worth it.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this bar—definitely a standout spot. The drink menu was not only creative but genuinely fun to explore, with each cocktail telling a little story of its own. You can tell a lot of thought went into both the flavors and the presentation. The vibe of the place was just right—stylish and with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I especially loved the music; it set the perfect tone for the night without ever overpowering the space. A great spot for anyone who appreciates well-crafted drinks and a genuinely cool ambiance. We’ll definitely be back!
