This Hackney Central terrace bar and club is the cause of many next day apologies. Tables are available for six to 12 people or you can go all Love Island on it and book a VIP booth for 10 or more people. The atmosphere is amazing, especially in good weather it turns into a great atmosphere with its open air area🤎 Even if the weather is cold, there are plenty of heaters outside. There seems to be a long queue at the bar but it definitely moves very quickly, we never waited more than 3 minutes. There are 2 clubs where you can dance, one is the free one at upstairs, the other one is downstairs for a £15 per person. When I went there was house disco style music playing and we really had a great time, I will definitely come again🕺🏼🪩😍

Great place for good food and drinks at the heart of Hackney (walking distance from several bus stops and train stops too). Friendly staff on hand at the bar and cloak room facility available. Great music during the night.

Came to night tales for NYE and it's safe it say it was the best night out ever! The food was banging, the drinks were amazing and the service was incredible. The security was so understanding and kind, especially Panos. Will come back here ASAP!

Got tickets to eargasm god(dj) on RAGuide. There are 2 clubs inside and multiple bars. Very spacious and a nice place to party until 3AM. It’s a 3min walk from hackney overground station

Great vibes on Saturday on the terrace and in the club. We booked a heated table on the terrace and ordered pizza's from Sons of Slice which were super tasty! After 10pm we booked tickets to the club and danced the night away. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful, 10/10 would recommend!

One of biggest terrace cocktail bar&club in east London. Sound system and decor is good. They do have food as well in place. Every single night, different dj performing their mix, so not every night will be the same. Dress code casual. Drinks are ok at prices. When passing through security dont forget bring your physical id.

I had an amazing time at Night Tales in Hackney! All the staffs, were an absolute superstar—and the drinks were incredible and added so much to the night. The duty manager Vlad was also incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was top-notch. Overall, a fabulous experience that I can't wait to repeat!

Pretty Cool! Pros: - really nice vibe - good food - awesome music (Seth Troxler spun the first weekend!!); comes complete with a dj booth with cool lights - lots of bars with some cool cocktails (there's a dedicated gin bar; had a GnT with a dash of laphroaig) Cons: - really cold, even with the heaters - it gets crowded. We went at 6 sharp and it was perfect. Got a table by a heater and chilled. by 1930 there was no table space and queues for everything - Great food but limited options (only 4 stalls I believe) - there's a £3 entry fee, but given the music that's alright; however - the music isn't loud enough. I kept thinking they'd turn it up but even at 2200 it was still fairly soft. Though given we went on a Thursday, perhaps things were a bit more chill Next weekend is the last weekend and it's definitely worth checking out!

Cool and groovy pop-up in a Dalston carpark. £3 entry. 4 foodstalls all with appetizing and appealing street food. The only drawback to the foodstalls, only 1 of them offers a vegetarian option. 3 bars that offer hot alcoholic drinks, beers and cocktails. I got there early 1 Friday evening and it was quiet but within half an hour it was filling up fast. Straw covered the ground, fairy lights covered the trees and a shower of them fell from the upstairs bar. Loved the hip tunes the djs played! a mixed crowd of funky, arty young hipsters. As the night wore on it continued to fill up. We left around 10.30 and people kept on coming. Great venue with a nice vibe.

Although Night Tales is based at an outdoor parkway, which means cold & freeze, it is really cute! Little fairly lights, trees, a little graffiti, 'match box' sound system with blue & red lights.. They provide heaters, and serve absinth hot chocolate, mulled cider etc. but its cold... feather down jacket at least needed. Essentially it is few food and drink stalls with house music for hipsters. It's quirky and well done enough to be successful, but £3 for entry makes you go: '?!'

Wasn't too impressed with the latest incarnation of Night Tales. Having the pop up from Andina was good and the food amazing, but they were the only one. Given my time again I'd opt to go to Street Feast instead.

They earn thousands every night yet can't afford AC??? Horrible air conditioned. Small venue with a nice smoking area. Price for drinks are okay. You can't even breathe inside the club. It's important !!

Night tales have reinvented themselves under the banner of "Tokyo Nights". £3 entry after 7pm. Supposedly this is a real and authentic interpretation of the city of Tokyo. Immediately I'm thinking Golden Gai, amazing sushi bars and highly personal drinking experiences. No, I'm completely barking up the wrong tree. More accurately this is all your usual London food pop ups but the signs are now in faux Japanese fonts and the burgers have Japanese mayo on. Patty & Bun are there, Bubbledogs, Happy Chicken, so decent stuff, just fundamentally food you've had elsewhere. I would highlight the fairly tasty Katsu chicken burger I had from Nanny Bill's. The queues for the food were long given it was the first night but the queues for the bars were gracefully short. Wandering around the sake bar upstairs is, well its a bar that has sake on the menu. Do explore if you want to sit down as there is plenty of space in the venue. I can't really comment on the food and experience in the private Ryokans. Maybe someone else can add some colour on that, the set menu's do look nice - I assume these are going to be the real highlights but are pre-book only and much pricier.

We arrived at 10 because we hadn't seen that it closed at 12. The music stops at 11 because they want everyone to leave. They made us pay 5£ to get in, while they advertised it for 3£. It's actually really small, there are only a couple of food tents and there's a dance floor under a big tent... There was a nice atmosphere and I had an extremely delicious (and messy) burger, but all in all, it was a bummer.
