I had an incredible experience at this restaurant this past Wednesday evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—Ellie, our server, was especially kind and attentive. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and even recommended the fried chicken special (available only on Wednesdays), which turned out to be absolutely delicious. The drinks were also a highlight—crafted perfectly and full of flavor. We opted for the outdoor seating, which was cozy, charming, and added to the overall relaxing vibe of the evening. Everything from the food to the ambiance and service was spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for that fried chicken!

Google
One of the best restaurants in Austin! Do not miss the elderflower spritz, burrata, Mediterranean salad, arancini balls, and the gnocchi. Seriously delicious food served quickly and with excellent service! I can’t wait to return. The restaurant, like many Austin spots, is in an older house and has a great outdoor seating area as well. It would have been absolutely perfect if the room next to ours wasn’t shoved full of equipment partially hidden by a curtain that didn’t quite cover everything. Otherwise, it was fabulous!

I really enjoyed my time at Nightcap. I made a reservation and Christin reached out before my time asking if there was any celebrations for the evening. I explained that we were having a goodbye for one of my friends who is moving and we were greeted with champagne and smiles. The happy hour deals were great and everything I ate and drank was delicious. The staff was very kind. I will definitely be going again!! Indoor and Outdoor seating was available as well as street parking and a small parking lot in the back of the building.

Super mixed emotions about my visit last night. Not being an Austin native, someone that lives here recommended this spot to us. Super cozy ambience in here must admit. The staff 10/10. The food is what I’m giving this spot a 3 stars instead of 5. We started off with a Cheese & Charcuterie board. Nothing crazy about it. Great appetizer to start with. My main entree was a Roasted chicken that was on top if some sort of sauce & a red sauce. The white sauce reminded me like some sort of yogurt. Red sauce mixed with the white sauce balanced out and had a better taste as I dipped my chicken too. Chicken was good, crispy skin and seasoned well. Now, this plate had a bunch of radishes that just didn’t find it good also for the arugula. Menu claims to have roasted bell peppers and pecans. I didn’t see any of it, must’ve been blended into that red sauce I mentored earlier. Second dish was a Night Cap burger. Pretty good burger must say. Super juicy, can’t really mess up a burger. Patties were just a tad bit salty which had me drinking water after each bite. The fries that came along were mediocre. Lastly, dessert. By our waiter he recommended their Banana Foster pudding. I could tell it wasn’t made fresh that day of because the bananas were definitely ripened. They had a dark color to it. Also what was interesting was that this dessert felt like it had some sort of nutmeg spice or even cinnamon that I felt like it was overpowering the whole dessert itself. Not enjoyable at all. Overall, I had better expectations for the food itself. Stated before the staff were great. Nothing towards them, super attentive throughout the experience. I might come back to try different food options and maybe their cocktails in the future.

Google
This place is one of my favorites in Austin! Definitely a must try. All the appetizers I’ve had have been amazing, great drinks, and the strawberry shortcake was the perfect dessert.

Google
This is an awesome place to chill with friends. They have a great selection of drinks and a nice big patio. The service was great. We just had drinks but the food smelled amazing! Not sure about parking as we took an uber.

Google
Service, food, and atmosphere were excellent for a date night. Drinks missed the mark though unfortunately. Drinks were $20/ea and they were small and didn't really taste the best lol. But food was great. We had the broccoli soup and also the grilled cheese, both delicious. This place is usually always packed.

Google
Really delicious food and equally great drinks. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and casual. The decor is very pretty and the restaurant location isn’t in a super busy area. Service was great. Definitely more expensive for their main course items but they also have a decent happy hour.

Yelp
I was there for a private event in the back room. There were around 15 attendees and the service and food was excellent. Our server Scarlet killed it, and it was her first event service she said. We had a fixed menu from the sponsor with lots of choices and everything that came out was looking great and the salmon in particular that I had was fantastic.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a cute happy hour date with a friend. Their cocktails are amazing and their HH bites super tasty - we got the charcuterie board for $15 when it's usually double. The layout is very neat as well, with an intimate indoor bar in what feels like a OG austin home. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
We went to nightcap for a quick appetizer and the service was great. While it was quite dark, as the power had gone out, the wait staff was extremely accommodating and made it a memorable experience. They offered us drinks while they fixed the power and made what could have been a bad experience a laughable and memorable one.

Yelp
Austin has too many places to go to instead of going here, stay away! The food was terrible, the service was horrible, and the vibe was that of a bunch of losers crying into their drinks. If you want to have a good time, you can literally go anywhere else but here. Seriously, don't waste your time nor your money.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place for cocktails with indoor and outdoor seating. Happy hour is from 5-7. They have one of my favorite burgers also! Dog friendly! Parking is pretty easy along the street and there are a few spaces behind the building.

Yelp
I consider this place my cocktail home. I've been in and out of the city for awhile and I find myself coming back to NightCap every time I come. The staff is always youthful and as the night sets in. The fun evolves and becomes a little more adventurous with the creativity cocktails/people. Every bartender I have had here I've always given them a base and a flavour profile I want and let them handle the rest. I wouldn't know how to describe it to an audience the magic I have seen and the things produced behind the bar. It is ineffable. I've learned a lot and use this place as my reference when drinking at another cocktail bar. I will always drink here for as long as it stands.

Yelp
Very healthy delicious food & great service & beautiful setting! Enjoyable evening with our friends .

Yelp
Maybe this is better as the name suggests: a late night spot. Because dinner doesn't really cut it. The dining areas are cramped and feels like you're sitting in your neighbor's lap. Cocktails were creative - names and ingredients. If you're not into cocktails, though, you won't have many options. The brussel sprouts are the reason I'm writing this review. The flavor was great. However, it was wasted on essentially raw brussel sprouts. The outside leaves were slightly seared but that was it. I might as well have gone down the street to HEB and had dinner in their produce aisle. Other items we tried were decent but not inspirational. Again, a solid end-of-night spot (because, for example, chips with the ceviche were super greasy) but not for a decent dinner.

Yelp
This is one of those places I wish I could keep a secret but I have to give credit where it's due :p I've been here twice and both have been a great experience. The first time with girlfriends and the second time with my husband. Sitting at the bar waiting for our friends was the best start. The bartender made us feel so welcome as we started discussing rare liquors whiskey and tequila. This is not your average quiet stuffy bar. It can get loud and the bartenders and servers are in on the fun. Service is phenomenal always attentive and everyone is so nice which hard to find these days.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying that the service here is absolutely amazing!! We were greeted by the bar & right off the bat, they made conversation with us and it just felt like visiting your friends house. We sat at the bar & was just chatting with the owner(I assume was the owner of the place) & she asked us how our day was and what we had planned. We told her we have reservations next door at bar peached & just stopped by here to grab some drinks before. Then she proceeded to offer us some complimentary appetizers to have while we waited, which was super sweet! They served us the Polenta & brussels sprouts & OMG!! THAT POLENTA was the best thing I've ever had!! Brussels sprouts were also very delicious, but my favorite was the polenta. I've never had such a flavorful polenta. & to top it all off, their bartender makes some amazing drinks! We had the espresso martini (which my friend was obsessed with) and 2 other whiskey drinks! I was ultimately (happily) surprised by the amount of whiskey cocktails that they offered because you don't see that often at the bars in Austin. We ended up still having dinner next door & were disappointed. Nightcap has to be my new favorite bar in Austin. The ambiance was just homey & fun & vibrant!

Yelp
I came here for a little girls dinner. We were able to get reservations inside which was good because it was a hot day. The food was ok. I got the burger which was ok. It definitely wasn't better than any Whataburger I had. My friend for the chicken fried rice. She was told it was spicy and it definitely wasn't. She was not pleased with it. We both did love the fried green tomatoes and Brussel sprouts. I am giving the spot 2 stars because our server was not very attentive. The bartender came to our table more to check on us than she did. We had to ask him for ketchup because our server was no where to be found and the restaurant wasn't that busy when we were there.
google avatar

Yelp
Really cool vibe. My wife and I stopped by after a wine event. We had some crispy brussels and a dip made of white beans and such, as well as cocktails (mile high and straightup d*ck). Service was good, atmosphere was great outside, and we enjoyed our apps and drinks. Nice way to end an evening.

Yelp
Came in for a nightcap (pun-intended), and got their mezcal cocktail which was fantastic! Bartender goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcomed. Definitely come check this place out if you're trying to grab a drink or two or five.

Yelp
Tried out Nightcap with a couple of friends on a weekend night & we enjoyed it very much! The cocktails were very well detailed and tasted delicious. The staff is also wonderful and the ambiance was relaxing yet fun. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Lots of highs and lows The cocktails are great. Lots of options and inventive combinations. The service is mediocre. Overall we were made to feel like we were keeping them from something they'd rather be doing. The food was both good and average. The charcuterie board is highly recommended. We really enjoyed it. The gnocchi and the potatoes and chicken were both very average. The rice balls are probably the highest point. Those and a cocktail and your all set.

Yelp
Popped in randomly on a rainy Sunday. Super chill vibes and AMAZING food. Friendly, welcoming....gotta eat at the bar and shoot the shit with Mario. You'll thank me. Best Buscuits and Gravy I've ever had. Really. Unique take and hearty. Trust me.

Yelp
This was my second time I came to Nightcap after the 3 years of living in Austin and being back this time I was sadly disappointed. The table we were suppose to sit at they sat down a party before us who didn't have a reservation, so we had to squeeze at a table of 4 even tho we had 6 of us. The service was slow and not good at all. Every time we ordered a drink we would ask for another one by the time we received it because they were that slow at the bar. The food was below average. I'm sadden because it's such a cute local joint and I love the location and house but they could do a much better job. I would recommend hiring more staff and switching up the menu. Pros: location & atmosphere Cons: food & service
google avatar

Yelp
Will say regardless of food experience - I would come back to this place any time just for the vibe. I've been twice now and had the food once which was a little pricey for my taste (got a wagyu burger for about $18 and wanted to be healthy so requested vegetables instead of French fries and that was an extra $4 for "crudite" which was just some chopped cucumbers and carrots in a tiny bowl). However, I LOVE the drinks. I got one called "the Grasshopper" which I think is the sweetest cocktail on the menu (what I asked for!). It was a coffee themed drink with vanilla ice cream in it but it was rather strong! My date got a drier drink, but he also liked it. The place is inside of a converted house and feels cozy, but still upscale. It's also just down the road from good other food options (eg Lin, which I think is also expensive but high quality for dim sum). Would definitely come here again either with friends or on another date: the vibes were great for both in my experience!

Yelp
Very cool place and amazing staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful! Really great dining experience. Appetizers: Crispy Brussels Sprouts - 4/5 Burrata and Local Veggies - 5/5 When I Dip, You Dip, We Dip - 4/5 Entrees: Gulf Shrimp and Carolina Gold - 5/5 Dessert: Horchata Tres Leches - 4/5 The gulf shrimp and rice is phenomenal. Cooked perfect and the rice is out of this world. Sooo creamy and full of flavor. Amazing. Burrata came with tasty focaccia and really good carrots. One of my favorite dishes here. Carrots were really well seasoned and delicious. Tres leches was super fun and sweet. A little dry but really good flavor nonetheless. The pear that came with it stole the show. Super fresh and such an amazing flavor. Wait staff is phenomenal. Great people.

Yelp
Won't even give out one star!!! The pictures are probably professionally taken by the restaurant. The wagyu burger and their fry is a total joke. On their professionally taken pictures, the burger looks pretty nice with sesame on the bun and decent amount of the cheese. Reality? It looks exactly like the quarter pounder from McDonald's. Taste wise? It tastes exactly like McDonald's quarter pounder if not worse. I don't care if there are haters out there hating my review. If you don't believe me, just bring a quarter pounder there. Trust me, quarter pounder won't let you down! Their fries? They don't know how to cook fries... the fries are probably cooked from microwave. Never seen any fries are soft like they cooked. Why am I so angry? Because they put a sign in front of the door says voted best burger in Austin! It really brings up my expectation and you can only get a $20 quarter pounder. I'd rather eat at McDonald's!! If they don't have the sign, I probably won't even bother posting this negative review. This place is a joke.

Yelp
Excellent burger and fries with a dog friendly outdoor patio. There's also a solid full service bar. We do wish they had a bigger beer selection.
google avatar

Leena J.

Yelp
Great service with a smile. We popped in for a little wine and dessert. We had the fudge brownie- it wasn't amazing but sweet enough for a night cap. I give them 5 stars for the service and decor. Beautiful place.
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a great place to come with a group of friends for some delicious food and pretty ambiance! The wait staff and owners are incredibly kind and the food was delicious. We came for a friends birthday and they even decorated the table with balloons and a complimentary glass of champagne. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Christa S.

Yelp
Went here for a catch up dinner with Jamie A and Erin R. We had reservations, which seemed like a good idea as it seemed to have limited seating, at least where we were. It's a small and welcoming house setup. Since we were catching up and sharing, we ordered a few different things: CHEESE + CHARCUTERIE - a decent charcuterie spread. I've had better, but I've also had worse. The house made focaccia was definitely a highlight. CRISPY BUSSELS SPROUTS - these were delightfully flavorful and just the right amount of crispy. CARNITAS GRILLED CHEESE - we shared this entree and it was good, but definitely messy. POTATO GNOCCHI - SO good! It was topped with corn, tomateos, parmesan and basil. It was fresh while also filling. They have a good cocktails, beer and wine menu as well - lots to choose from depending on your mood or preference. Parking is what it is in this part of town - so be sure to arrive a bit early so you can scope out and snag a spot.

Yelp
Can I please give 10 stars? I hosted a holiday brunch recently at Night Cap. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Mario helped come up with the perfect menu drink options and the ambience was exceptional. Perfect! The entire staff was helpful and attentive. The food was out of this world. We were treated like friends and not just another event. This is why I support this small business in Austin. I will definitely be going back often to enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere of Nightcap.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks. Unique menu that tastes incredible. Highly recommend the short ribs and carnitas grilled cheese. We ordered several items and shared amongst friends. The drinks are great and named quirky names, so fun! We came for a birthday and all received a glass of champagne to toast her celebration. Cute patio but unfortunately there were many flies and bugs circling out table the entire evening. Will definitely be back again!

Yelp
I went with some girlfriends to celebrate a birthday on a Friday evening. As you know, the weather in Austin fluctuates in the spring and this day was no exception. We sat inside because it was so hot outside. I wish we had sat outside only because the music was so LOUD. Maybe it was because the place was kinda empty (at 530) or maybe because we had taught elementary school kids all day OR maybe because it was so dang loud. I couldn't hear my friends at the table. I asked them to adjust the volume but it barely seemed like they turned it down. *I LOVED the music choice-90's music, and I knew every song but it wasn't 12 am in the club. Maybe I'm just getting old or tired from teaching all day ;) The food was excellent and the drinks were tasty. We shared an appetizer, had a drink, and then made some dinner choices. We ordered the short ribs/couscous, salad with chicken, and the burger (my choice). The burger was a double burger, similar to a smash burger. The bun was perfect and the fries were hot! Everyone loved their meal. I ate half (could have eaten the whole thing) but took the rest for lunch. I filled up on an extra glass of wine! You do remember the part where I said we taught elementary school kids! :) Give this place a try for a date night or girl's night. The bar was open behind us too for people to sit socially distanced. I love sitting at the bar so might do that next time if I'm just with one friend. Enjoy!

Maddie B.

Yelp
Food is tasty and generally a crowd pleaser! However the service can be spotty and slow.

Yelp
Nightcap is truly beautiful, it manages to be a good mix of nice and cozy on the inside but there's also outside seating for some fresh air. The staff are friendly and the drinks strong! I didn't beg anything to eat so I can't talk about the food. I also love it that they play around with the name of their drinks - The BBC, Ghost 'em gurl, Forgive me Father for I have gin-ned etc. The primary reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is that the service was lacking. There was confusion about who should seat us and after we sat down, it took a good 25 minutes before we could place an order even though we were the only ones seated inside - so they could see us- and even then, we had to flag them down to take the order. Same thing with our bill. The did check on us several times while we were drinking and I saw one of the staff blow up balloons to go surprise a party that was seated for birthday brunch so it felt like a really nice, personal touch. I'm hoping my experience with the wait was the exception but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. I think I'll go again because I loved the overall vibes and if my experience is better, I will update this review.

Yelp
In my opinion, NightCap is the ultimate set up for an elevated experience, if you're not looking for a heavy meal. The menu appears to have been carefully curated for the variety, the quality of flavors & presentation. Their drink selection is phenomenal and rather quite fun! I have had the BBC ( big black coconut) each time & it's one of my favorite cocktails in the city of Austin. NightCap provides an excellent outdoor/indoor experience, providing blankets & heaters in the cooler seasons/evenings.

Yelp
We came here as a consolation after having a terrible dinner experience at ALC Steaks (NEVER go there). The plans was for drinks and dessert and we initially thought that we were going to have a nice experience after being sat by the friendly hostess. The first thing that soured the mood: someone's random bulldog in the bar area, which was a flagrant violation of every health code imaginable and disgusting/uninviting to boot. Mercifully it and its owner left after 15 minutes. It took the server a loooooooong time to come over, and while she was very nice we wouldn't exactly describe her as attentive. Drinks (following the dumb name trend) left a lot to be desired. One of us ordered the grasshopper for fun and it was like the worst tasting mint cough syrup concoction imaginable. We sent it back and their coffee martini was better but not by much; the eye roll-inducing "Rye You No Call" was OK Dessert options were limited, so we settled on peanut butter cookies and tiramisu. The cookies were OK, nothing special, but the tiramisu was one of the worst we've ever had. Bitter and unappetizing with none of the right textures. Overall, the bill came to a pretty penny just for our alleged "nightcap." Our initial spark of interest and excitement was extinguished by the end of the night. We would neither recommend this place nor would we come back of our own volition. 2.5 stars rounding up only because by comparison this place was like The French Laundry compared to ALC.

Deb S.

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner at Nighcap. First, they have a really innovative cocktail selection (love The West Egg). The food is also spectacular and fits a range of food preferences. Do not sleep on the local winter salad...sooooo good and the dressing is fantastic. The arroz con pollo and the potato gnocchi are two of our favorite dishes to share. Finally, the service was outstanding! Victor A. was our server. Victor is knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. They were busy that evening and had a large birthday party, but he kept checking in and was so courteous and nice. We will always ask to be in Victor A.'s section.

Yelp
This place is so cute! It's a cute house turned restaurant along W 6th. Definitely recommend a reservation if you can. There were tables available for a later brunch on a Sunday. It was pretty lively and loud - lots of people enjoying their Sunday Funday! We tried the following: - mimosa carafe - sweet potato hash with chorizo - so so good, would get this next time - pancakes - delicious! We got these for the table - burger - delicious 2-patty burger with amazing fries Will definitely be back for brunch!

Yelp
Great drinks, great food, nice outdoor patio and inside bungalow vibes. The food and drinks are a bit pricey but well worth it as they are good size portions and very well made!

Yelp
Perfect if your 20. I'm not. Food was pretty good service great. Scene not for me. Soooo I have to add more and I got nothing. I won't be back but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.

Yelp
I'm giving 4 stars as my BBC cocktail was really really good. 0 stars for dessert. Brought my people for dessert & was pretty disappointed in it. Got the bread pudding-put my spoon through it for my first bite & noticed it is very dense & kinda hard. Oh well it's drizzled with a nice layer of caramel. But when the bite entered my taste buds it was very apparent the caramel was burnt. It was so bitter! I guess the chef did not taste it, but it was dark so they really should have known it was possibly burnt & to taste it to ensure quality control. Okay on to the next dessert- peanut butter cookies with banana cheesecake. I love soft peanut butter cookies. We were given spoons, but these cookies were so hard they needed a knife! The banana cheesecake was an ice cream the 3 cookies were placed on top of. I had to pick up the cookie & bite down very hard. And even though you would think the ice cream would make it softer, it did not. They were plain over done & on the verge of being burnt. We sat on the patio & it was nice people watching. The patio is covered with fake grass. Not sure where to park? We snagged one of like 3 spots behind the restaurant when someone was leaving, so not sure where everyone was parked. The restaurant was a little busy, but I was able to reserve a table in real time on open table. I would go back for the BBC & the people watching.

Yelp
when i this is the best hospitality i've received since living in austin...i mean this is the BEST hospitality i've received. From being greeted at the front desk and immediately feeling welcome and attended to. I decided to try this place out after seeing it on a friends Instagram story. (im a sucker for cute & fun vibes). My sister, her fiancé and I wanted somewhere chill to end our Saturday night after driving around all day. We waited about ten mins for a table. The cocktail and food menu is pretty well-rounded. there's something for everyone! They don't have beer listed on the menu but it is available! I ordered the ghost em' girl cocktail because i can't ever pass up a spicy cocktail. My sister ordered the tickle your pickle cocktail and that was REFRESHING. Our charcuterie appetizer was plenty to share between the three of us. And, we cannot forget the delish grilled cheese w/ fire sauce on the side that we had the pleasure of trying. the carnitas inside the sandwich were just *chefs kiss* Can we just take a moment to appreciate Christin and her hard working staff? times are tough for hospitality right now. But this place is proof that when you make your customers feel welcomed and ensure they have a good time...there's no doubt they'll be coming back for more. You've gained three loyal customers after one visit and we can't wait to come back & continue to support y'all.

I've driven past Nightcap so many times so my boyfriend and I finally decided to stop in for a date night dinner. The aesthetic of the restaurant is great, it's moody and eclectic and there's often live music for entertainment. We were originally seated on the patio right by the door but requested to move because it felt like we were about to get hit every time someone walked in/out. The staff was very accommodating though and had no issues moving us as there were multiple open spots around us. We also noticed a couple that was sat at our original spot also requested to move so I promise it wasn't just because we were being high maintenance. As far as the actual food and drinks, it was great! I started with a mezcal cocktail that tasted like an old fashioned but with mezcal so that was interesting and my boyfriend got a cucumber cocktail that was so refreshing. For appetizers, we got the Spanish meat and cheeses and the dip trio. I highly recommend the dips, they were all so good and different. For the main course, my boyfriend got the carnitas grilled cheese and I got the night cap burger. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Finally, we finished the night with one of their dessert cocktails. It was basically an adult ice cream float which was a fun twist. COVID Precautions: Minimal. I didn't see any mask requirements at all.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday for their brunch which honestly I had no idea they had started meals outside of their usual dinner and dessert menu. They had a live band playing inside which can get rather loud since it's a small venue but luckily the music was great so we enjoyed it! As for the food, we ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and the sweet potato hash. Both were delicious and definitely a large portion (pancakes being the bigger portion). The hash was really tasty with the carnitas added to it, and the fresh avo on the side. Would highly recommend with the pork. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy and massive. It comes with a blueberry maple syrup which I would definitely prefer more syrup for the massive amount of pancakes but they were seriously so good! For drinks we also ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas and they let you get all 4 juices if you're a larger group who can't decide on just 1 which I think is a great! Looking forward to trying their other menus too.

Yelp
Nightcap is a cute little Clarksville bar, although bar doesn't seem like the right word. In fact, they serve small plates too, but restaurant doesn't seem to be the right word either. It's a cozy bungalow with living room furniture, a patio with tables and chairs, and lawn games in the front yard. The ambiance is nothing like a bar, but the drinks they serve are certainly strong. I would not recommend the Hit me with your best shot cocktail if you're expecting an espresso martini. It's not. It was strong, but not tasty. The service is great, so I'm assuming they would have been accommodating had I expressed my lack of affection for my cocktail. Our friends go there often and have great things to say about the owner. She has done a great job creating a welcoming space for spending quality time with friends and loved ones. The music stays in the background, which allows you to converse with ease. Nightcap is the opposite of Dirty Sixth!

Yelp
Stopped by here for a drink and some dessert with my boyfriend. The chocolate cake was delicious and moist. It had semi-melted chocolate chips in it which really added to the texture and flavor. The ice cream also had a really unique, kind of creamy texture as well. The atmosphere was pretty causal, which I was pleasantly surprised by considering google had it listed as $$$. I wouldn't say the prices reflect that though, it was moderately priced. Service was good. My West Egg cocktail was elegant, pretty and smelled like lavender. Giving 4/10 cause I have yet to try the food but, will update it once I do that!

Yelp
What a great night spent at nightcap. It is such a cute and quaint place for dinner with friends or a date night. It's a bit small as it's a renovated bungalow but the lighting and atmosphere definitely sets the mood. Went here for apps and cocktails, and was not disappointed. We tried the brussel sprouts and the charcuterie board, along with the meatballs. Everything was delicious. The brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy and charred and the blend of flavors on then we're delicious. The charcuterie board was good, but it would've been nice if we were told what we were eating. Like if the cheeses were labeled or something. Nonetheless can't complain, paired well together. The meatballs though were really the star of the appetizer show! They are wagyu beef and pork in a homemade sauce, just melted in your mouth. Definitely must get! As for drinks, I love the names of the drink, they're unique and funny lol. Such as "Forgive me Father for I have Gin-ned" and "Joining the Milam-High club"!! I got the "I've made myself clear" cocktail and it was so good that I stuck with it and reordered it all night, no need to switch up something this good. We ended the night with the Tres Leches dessert, which I am not a fan of Tres leches anyways, so I wasn't loving it, but my date was and said it was amazing. So if you're a fan, may be worth a try! Thanks for ending my night with such a great "nightcap"!

Yelp
Had past this place a million times but finally took a chance on somewhere new and tried Nightcap out for brunch this past Sunday. I'm a sucker for old houses repurposed as a restaurant and this place is right up my alley! Not only do they have parking but also a decent patio area if your looking to soak up the sun during your experience. They also have live music here on sundays for brunch. As far as the food is concerned I highly recommend you try to fried chicken and biscuits as it was made to perfection. My partner opted for the shrimp & grits which looked equally as delicious. My only critique is it took awhile to close out and get the check but other than that no complaints here! It looks like they have a decent weekday happy hour which I'm excited to try in the future.

Yelp
Wonderful ambience with fantastic cocktails and we have only begun to sample their delicious menu. Perfect for a romantic date indoors or a girl's night out on the patio. And if you are lucky enough to meet the owner, Christin, you will never forget this wonderfully crazy ball of energy who makes you feel so welcome! Highly recommend !

Yelp
This is my second time at nightcap. The first time was pretty great, but now I'm completely sold. Claire took my reservation which was originally set for 8:30 but my date and I were running behind. I called and asked if we could move it to 9p. She asked me the details of my party to be able to accommodate us properly. I thought that was pretty above and beyond, and I was absolutely here for it! We got there and were seated accordingly. Alex was our waitress tonight, and although it was ( obvious, by our surroundings, that it was busy AF - She carried full trays in and out, while multi-tasking and taking our orders, including ours. All courses were accurately brought out, and with great timing. Finally, we were approached by a gentleman, named Drew, who was making his way to multiple tables. He greeted us, and asked us if we needed anything else. We were all set, so he proceeded to thank us for coming out during an unpredictable time. Again, above and beyond! The food was a solid five stars, the ambiance was fantastic, and the service was spectacular. Defffff recommend 10/10!!!!!

Yelp
Had a reservation for Friday night dinner at Nightcap with some girlfriends. We were seated at a nice outdoor table and our drink orders were taken quickly. I was surprised there were no fans near the outdoor seating spots, it definitely got a bit hot sitting outside in the middle of a Texas summer with nothing to cool you down. The menu is limited and portions are small for the price, but taste good enough. There were some mix ups with drinks that were not resolved well by our server, and we waited for the check for far too long before having to ask a nearby busser to grab the check from our server. Overall very average experience

Yelp
Amazing staff, fun atmosphere. We walked in at 10pm on a Saturday and all the staff looked happy to be there. Strolled up to the bar and had several rounds of drinks since we were there only to drink. Can't comment on the food, but the drinks were tasty and had hilarious/ creative names. Overall had a great time and will definitely be returning to try the food. Chatted with the bartender/bar manager Mario and he made the experience even better.
