This place has all the makings of a great cafe. It's backed by a high quality team, attached to a hotel with great F&B and seems to want to do interesting things. Unfortunately, it just does not seem capable of executing. The last time I visited, the Cafe was unable to serve 2/3 of the menu. They only had one sandwich available, and none of the special drinks listed were in stock. The sandwich I DID try had high quality ingredients, but the ratios were a mess. Not enough condiments, and the size of the focaccia compared to the filling left the sandwich tasting incredibly dry and flavorless. I had to strip down the sandwich to only one side of bread to make it edible. Unfortunately, the focaccia wasn't even particularly good. I really want to love this place, but it's unfortunately kind of a dumpster fire.
