Came here for lunch with a friend and did the lunch combo. The ramen noodle was good and filling. The pork belly appetizer was yummy and flavorful. Great service all around and I love that there was a dessert that came at the end. Well worth it. However fried pancake was okay not my favorite. The line wait could be a bit long so definitely leave your name and came back in a few. For reference I came on a Saturday at 12pm and waited about an hour

Google
Efficient service, solid and standout food. Small place, but not overly cozy. Food comes out real quick and the servers respond in an instant. Got their coconut shoyu chicken ramen and it was great. There are things I can nitpick about, but overall, it's quite the unique dish amongst the heavy, fatty, American-style, super size me ramen that's famous around SF. It's rich in flavour still, but the coconut notes are clean and broth is light enough to drink the whole bowl. The noodles are very well made. Right amount of chewiness and thickness. It's not gummy, has a bit of bite, and picks up the broth extremely well. Definitely stopping by again. Food is simple, but exciting. Prices are amazing for the area. There is no reason not to give this place a try.

Google
A high 3, closer to 3.5-3.8, but overall an average experience. Food was good, service was good, but I was not Wow'd and have a list of other izakayas/Japanese spots I would prioritize over this one. Noteworthy are the happy hour deals! List of dishes all $5. Basically our whole dinner was from the happy hour menu, and we even ordered hot sake. Favorite of the dishes was the seared tuna with the salsa sauce. We were intrigued because salsa is not something I associate with sashimi, but it was very good, especially with the smokiness from the sear. Pork belly in the pork belly don was also nicely done. Some pieces were quite fatty but the fat melted beautifully into the rice. Least favorite was the salmon sashimi; pieces were quite big, and salmon felt really cold. Went in on a weekday, early into the dinner rush. Service was fast and efficient. Cozy spot, not too much space so wait could get long if there is a big dinner rush.

Google
Heard about the lunch deal from a friend so made the way over during errands to have a check. Total was $18ish and pretty filling, came in on my own and got seated right away but with the size of the space it can fill up out of nowhere. Would I go again? If I have another weekday off probably just to try more main menu items, but still a nice one-of experience anyways

Google
My ninniku ramen was so full of flavor and ingredients. The duck truffle ramen was pretty great too. Wasn’t a huge fan of the potato salad. We came for HH and got a small salmon poke dish too but that was just ok. Service was little slower but a cute lil restaurant in Japantown.

Google
Small yet well operated place. The service moves quickly, so there doesn’t seem to be a long wait. We went early (5:30) on a Saturday and just made the happy hour cut off at 6pm. I tried the duck and truffle ramen. Highly recommend it if you love truffles - full of flavor and very tasty!😋

Google
Everything was fine except that they served me my sushi on what I highly expect was a piece of unsanded, unsealed, and stained piece of wood paneling from a hardware store. You could even see the notches in the side from how they are supposed to lock together. Fibers were coming loose from it and unless professionally treated with a food-grade sealant (which it wasn't), the chemicals used to treat this type of wood product are dangerous to consume. This is meant to not go on a house, not eat food off of. The sushi and service was great though!

Yelp
The wife brought me here for my birthday lunch and I was pleasantly surprised, especially for someone who has traveled to Japan and has eaten my fair share of ramen and visited many Izakaya. The place is quaint and small, as it only holds 24 people. Despite other reviews I've read that complain about the alleged excessive noise level, I feel that this restaurant quite accurately encapsulates the feeling and atmosphere of an Izakaya. It's lively with chatter and music, but not overwhelmingly loud. Their staff are extremely friendly. Before we ate, we were politely asked to move seats to make room for a larger party, which my wife and I didn't mind doing at all. To make up for our inconvenience (if it could even be called that), they gave us a complimentary kimchi tofu appetizer. Their attention to detail to their patrons must be recognized. I need to point out how much of a bargain their lunch special is, especially given the price and the amount of food that you get. For $16 you get an appetizer, an entree, and a small dessert. In my case, I ordered the shrimp dumplings and the Tan Tan Super Ramen. The thinly wrapped dumplings are stuffed with a generous amount of shrimp. While they were pretty tasty, it didn't compare to the main event. Their Tan Tan Ramen's broth is what sets this apart from any other ramen I've had. It has a very unique flavor profile with it having a good balance of saltiness, sweetness, and bitterness. It's definitely got heat to it, but its not overbearing. It worked really well with the ground pork, onions, peanuts, soft boiled egg, and noodles. It was the perfect dish for such a cold day. For dessert they served a small cup of mochi red bean matcha ice cream. Totally worth $16. Great value, great service, great food. What more could you want?

Yelp
Came here on the Monday of President's Day. There is a waitlist inside that you write your name down. At first, it looked like the wait would only be 20 minutes or so due to how many people were ahead of us. Wrong! We waited 50 minutes to get sat. The frustrating part was, there were constantly open tables. At least 7 tables at one time. I'm not sure why we couldn't be sat. I would rather wait inside to order, than stand outside for that long. We finally got sat and the server was nice. We did the lunch time deal. The food came out relatively fast which confused me even more why they couldn't just fill all of the tables? It is quite small on the inside, very cozy. Food itself was actually pretty good. The lunch deal is such a steal. The little dessert they gave was just enough for a little sweet treat. Would I come back here? Yes. Would I come back to wait more than 15 minutes? Definitely not. Beware of line! Expect a longer wait than what it seems.

Yelp
A full lunch for $16 in the city!? Get outta here!!!! Formerly known as NONO (which is moving up the street to a larger location), Ninniku just took over this small intimate location and I'm not mad about it. I don't care for NONO, Bubu is absolutely delicious, and Ninniku is perfectly in the middle. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. It wasn't super busy around 3pm You really cannot beat these lunch menu prices. They offer a lunch menu everyday from 11:30am - 3:30pm, which comes with your choice of an appetizer, your choice of an entree, and dessert. I tried the shrimp dumpling, karaage, and spicy miso ramen. The dumplings were great! Different texture than your average dumpling, a lot lighter and less dense imo. The ramen was some of the better tasting I've had, and for the price! Game changer. For dessert, we got a custard like dessert with strawberry puree. It wasn't overly sweet. Service was good. Portions were appropriate for lunch. Can't complain!

Yelp
New ramen spot in Japantown where NONO used to be! It's a cozy casual spot. They have a waitlist at the door inside, put your name down if it's busy. Definitely a spot that's better for small groups. I came for lunch on a Friday and got there around 12:30pm, we were seated in 5mins which was nice. We beat the rush and there were a few groups who came while we were eating that had to wait a bit. They have a lunch special where you can get an appetizer and entree (ramen/udon/rice bowl). I really wanted to try their super ninniku mazemen since it's their namesake which wasn't a part of a lunch special. It's a soupless ramen with thicken noodles, peanut sauce, ground pork, a sous vide egg, tomatoes and cucumbers. It was so good! Very flavorful, I loved the texture of the noodles. It went so well with the delicious sauce and the veggies added a nice fresh crunch. It's a unique dish that I would come back to eat. The dessert was on the house, it was a panna cotta like dessert with strawberry puree. Nice way to end the meal. The service was nice and friendly. They're newly opened and working out some of the kinks. They were using a new ticketing system for orders so there was a mix-up with mine so I did end up waiting long for my order. I asked one of the servers if she could check on it and they were very apologetic! They were so kind and even comped my order which was unexpected but very generous. I would have been fine paying for it because it was so good! I'll be coming back to try their other ramen and the okonomiyaki.

Yelp
Went at opening 11:30 AM on a Saturday and there was no wait. Food was a solid 4/5 for the lunch menu. It's a fantastic lunch deal that will leave you very full. Other reviews may have been more negatively skewed when the restaurant was packed after going viral on TikTok. The $16 lunch deal options are delicious but obviously don't expect gourmet food. Ordered: tonkotsu ramen (good - not watery like I saw another review say), garlic noodles, kaarage (loved this), California roll. Lunch deal came with a yummy matcha strawberry pudding as well.
google avatar

Areeta W.

Yelp
NONO's sister restaurant! They just took over NONO's location as they got a new place down the street. This place blew up on TikTok for their $16 lunch deal which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. My friend and I got the Spicy Tuna Roll and Takoyaki; both were OK like exactly what you think it is but nothing special. Then, we both got the Tonkotsu Chashu Ramen which was also OK like the broth wasn't amazing or super rich/flavorful. The egg that was on the ramen was like so oddly peeled LOL like random dents. The dessert was a Strawberry Matcha pudding which was also kinda mid. Service was nice and friendly! I'd come back to try their $5 Happy Hour from 4:30pm - 6pm!

Yelp
This is a new restaurant in the area. They have a wonderful lunch special app, entre , dessert for $16. You can choose the app and the entre today I got the chicken karaage which was fresh and crispy the spicy Mayo paired really nicely with it. For my entre I got the Shrimp Udon which was delicious . The broth had small hints of sweetness to it and my udon had a good amount of shrimp wontons. The service was very friendly and fast. Inside is very cute and small really good for solo dates.

Yelp
We were looking for a place that serves Spicy Tan Tan ramen so we tried Ninniku. Apparently we were lucky to walk in and be seated immediately. By the time we left every seat was taken, which is usually a good sign. Loud music and even louder customers made it seem very unJapanese. The tan tan ramen was pretty average and the noodles were definitely overcooked -- didn't have that nice bite ramen noodles are supposed to have. The price fix lunch menu looks good and I think we will return to give it a try. But I hope the food is better next time. During lunch time there was a lot of street parking. Service was ok.
google avatar

Mia L.

Yelp
This place gets 3 stars for the deal, which is $16 for an app, entre, and little dessert. I got the salmon roll, tonkatsu ramen and matcha ice cream with red bean and mochi. The salmon roll was good and tasted like any other salmon roll. The person I was with got the chicken karaage which was more chewy than crunchy. The ramen I got was okay... better ramen around in japantown as the broth tasted a lot like white pepper. Noodles were pretty good though. Overall I don't think I need to come back but it was worth the try!

Yelp
Food was ok, we went right at opening and were sat immediately. The dessert for lunch specials change, and today was strawberry matcha panna cotta.
google avatar

Yelp
Good lunch spot! You can get a lunch dish, appetizer & small dessert for $16 during the lunch happy hour from 12:30-3:30 everyday. Small restaurant though so try to beat the lunch rush. I waited about 20 minutes and came around 12:45. The host and waiter at the restaurant was very nice! Honestly, it was a great deal to get a typical lunch meal. Nothing crazy, the noodles and chicken appetizer tasted solid and pretty standard. The dessert was a match panna cotta which was a perfect way to cleanse my mouth after some garlic ramen noodles.
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my family, it's located close to Japantown. I ordered a lunch combo meal for $16 which included an appetizer with a udon/ramen + dessert which I thought was a great price. I ordered the spicy tuna roll with tonkatsu chashu ramen. The spicy tuna roll tasted great but super disappointed in the chashu ramen. The ramen had no salt and the broth tasted like water. The pictures made it look so good but did not live up to expectations.

Yelp
I struggled between 3 and 4 stars. In the end, the lovely ambiance, the friendly staff, and the price value bumped it up. The decor was so cozy and romantic. Eating here was a very zen experience, it was like we were transported to another world, away from the busy SF streets. Server was very nice. The lunch special that includes an app and dessert with the main dish was great value! You can tell the owners are very thoughtful and detail-oriented, there's lots of love in this space. BUT... the food felt very average. Another reviewer (Jocelyn L.) used the word "soulless" for the ramens, which is a fitting description. I feel bad for agreeing, b/c everything else was perfect, and I really want to like this place. We got the shitake mushroom udon, the shoyu chasu ramen, the kakuni pork rice app, and another app that I don't even remember (edit: it was shrimp tempura!). Nothing stood out. The soups didn't have that umami ramen quality. The kakuni pork was almost pure fat yet strangely chewy, and the shrimp tempura was over fried. It was all a bit... bland? It's still a great choice value-wise, but I'd go elsewhere for good ramen.

Yelp
Such a good value meal in SF! Not sure if it's for a limited time since they opened recently. Small casual izakaya with nice service. The lunch special is an app, main, and dessert for $16. Lots of options to choose from. My husband got the takoyaki + shoyu ramen and I got the kimchi tofu + tonkatsu ramen. Everything was delicious and as expected. We were pretty full by the time dessert rolled around, which was a packaged matcha ice cream. The menu said there was also panna cotta but they didn't have any that day which was a bit disappointing. Friends ordered a yuzu duck app for us to try - tender meat but felt like the yuzu peel was a bit too strong and added a texture I didn't like. I think the peel is good for looks so maybe on the sides of the duck would be better, then squeeze some yuzu juice on top of the actual duck. Would def return for the lunch special the next time we are in JapantownSF!

Yelp
One of the best bang for buck I've gotten in the city. Super cute small restaurant in a popular area with a casual classy ambiance, and friendly service. Not great for big groups, since there's limited space and tables. Tables seem to move fast though. The lunch set is an incredible deal at $16- appetizer, ramen/udon, and a dessert. The Kakuni don was probably my favorite thing. The pork belly was really well flavored. It wasn't as soft as I wanted, but it didn't bother me much. The ramen was perfectly portioned for my meal. Ramen was flavorful with chewy noodles, and came with thin cuts of pork. The only possible con I can think of was the egg was cold. Dessert is this little pre-packaged icecream with matcha, red bean, and mochi. Very yum! We'll definitely be back to try more off the lunch menu before prices inevitably go up. Definitely hit this place up for an amazing meal!

Yelp
My husband and I had recently eaten at Copra, and passed by this charming restaurant on the way. We looked it up, it had great reviews, so we gave it go! Unfortunately it was just an average experience, nothing horrible, but nothing to satisfy our craving or want us to return. I got the Super Ninniku Mazeman ramen, which was a soulless ramen. This was beautifully presented, with all the veggies on the side. The noodles were decent, but the sauce a little too salty. My husband got the Tonkatsu ramen, which was very bland, disappointingly. It really wasn't satisfying and lacked enough umami. The kakuni pork belly mini don was quite delicious for our daughter! It came with a sous vide egg, which was fantastic. I think this was my favorite dish of the night. We also got some sushi to share, a rock and roll, and a California roll. Each were only $7! Anyway they were decent, nothing special, nothing worth going back for. The bill was very cheap though, considering we ordered so much food. But honestly I'm the type of person who would rather pay more for better quality food. I will say that the service was quite friendly and accommodating for our toddler, which was nice. Overall a very average experience.

Yelp
This is one of the newest ramen spots in SF so we had to check it out and see what we can get there as a vegetarian. Before I get into the food, I will suggest to go earlier for dinner or go in a smaller party size since the restaurant has limited space and there are no reservations. They had a vegan ramen which was pretty good if you ask them to make it spicy. The spice agent they had really enhances the flavor. I also tried the kimchi tofu and vegetarian gyoza appetizers which were both tasty. One unique beverage they have is a matcha strawberry soda that I would recommend for all matcha lovers.
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
Amazing lunch specials with many choices available, good portion sizes. Limited vegetarian selection. Went on a weekend and they were able to seat our party of 8 immediately.

Yelp
I wonder how many people came here after seeing the $16 lunch deal from Tiktok because I did...lol. We decided to swing by for lunch since we were in the area. We arrived a little before 1pm on a Saturday and waited for around 30 mins. My first complaint is bad wait management. I watched one, two, three tables become vacant. The tables were cleaned and set up but for some reason they did not come out to call any names. They had tables vacant for up to 10 mins! I won't argue that the $16 lunch set isn't a bad deal since it includes an app, an entree and a dessert. We tried the takoyaki and chicken kaarage for apps and they were both not bad. The ramens were disappointing, however. The soups did not taste super flavorful; the tonkatsu one definitely had msg. The egg was way too runny and also not peeled well (one of our eggs also had a small piece of egg shell). The dessert was a matcha panna cotta with strawberry puree on top which was not bad. Overall, just ok.
google avatar

Yelp
This has to be one of the BEST Ramen I've had in Japantown. The spicy broth was so rich and silky with just the right amount of spice. I also got some shrimp tempura with it for only $16 bucks. My husband got shrimp dumplings with udon noodles. I can't wait to come back for dinner to try something different. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some good homemade ramen.

Yelp
===TL;DR=== - Sumo tonkotsu ramen + house crazy chili spicy sauce - Coconut shoyu chicken ramen - Farmer's green curry (vegan) ramen - Lunch combo: Shrimp dumpling udon + California roll + Green tea panna cotta - Geso fries - Complementary green tea panna cotta ===TMI=== Since japantown is surround by delicious ramens, thought I give this new one a try. A smaller restaurant as a lot of Japanese restaurants are, but they have inside and outside seating options. Sadly, the food wasn't that great. We had a long wait time in between our orders.. to the point where 3 of us were done with our meals and then our 4th friend's order finally came. Geso fries were over cooked, mainly dry and not meaty. The texture of the shrimp dumpling was not bouncy, it was almost like a powdery paste. The California roll.. all we can taste was the cucumber. Barely taste the imitation crab and the rice doesn't taste like Japanese rice. The golden jidori egg was cooked to a good consistency but it was not marinated so was bland. Kakuni pork was the better of the bunch in the sumo ramen. Personally the broth was on the saltier side but apparently compared to my friends soup bases, it was already the best one. The coconut shoyu brother was also bland. You can taste the coconut but it wasn't rich. The worst was the farmers green curry. The soup tasted spicy and watery.. that's it. The highlight of the whole meal was the "house crazy chili spicy sauce" because this sauce tasted the best and literally helped save some of our meals. Except imo it wasn't spicy, just flavorful. Lastly, the lunch combo came with a dessert so we thought only 1 person will get it. They were generous enough to give 4, 1 for each person. Assuming it was green tea panna cotta.. not sure if it's a combo dessert but under the dessert section of the menu, it said it's with strawberry sauce - none of ours has it. Also, the texture wasn't so much like panna cotta, more so like a gelatinous pudding. Service wise... our water wasn't refilled so we shared our remaining water. We only had a water refill later. Some parts of the floor was wet and that can be a safety hazard. While waiting on our last order, they brought out the wrong order. All I can say was there was one attentive staff - that's for voluntarily offering extra spicy chili sauce, and the other one not so much. I know they just opened not long ago so hopefully they'll get better. We left hungry still, especially my friend since she couldn't finish the poor meal. At least Japantown was around so we just filled out tummies elsewhere.

Yelp
This new ramen restaurant from the same owner as NONO took over its previous location, with NONO moving a block away. I actually liked this place a lot more! The sumo tonkotsu ramen was flavorful, the noodles were a good texture, and both the chashu and kakuni pork were really tender and delicious. The only cons I'd give this place are that there's less than 10 tables and you'll have to wait a bit, there's only one server (granted she's extremely polite and hardworking), and the portion sizes are on the smaller side. I'd come back to try other things!

Andrew P.

Yelp
Decided to try out this little place after our movie. Not too busy at all but I had a good feeling about it. Tonkatsu ramen was DELICIOUS rivaling ramen I've had that is double the price. Every element is clearly thought out - noodles were perfectly textured, the egg is beautiful with a smoky soyu yolk, the chashu was so good in texture and flavour and they even threw in a little piece of pork belly that melted in my mouth. I deeply enjoyed this bowl of ramen and look forward to coming back for it. The potato salad took me back to Japan as well and was a nice little side. My girlfriend got the miso ramen and the shrimp dumplings were stuffed and bursting in flavor. She did feel that the garlic flavour was a bit overpowering in it. After our meal we walked back to my car and I proposed to her (and she said Yes ). I take this delicious bowl of ramen as a good omen for our engagement - thank you!

Vicki N.

Yelp
10/10 food, service, and experience! We went on sunday for early dinner around 5:00 (party of 2) and were sat at a table immediately. The food was so delicious! I got the tonkotsu ramen and it was so creamy and flavorful. The noodles were cooked nicely and the pork had an amazing sweet and savory flavor that melted in my mouth I didn't catch our servers name, but he was great and very friendly. Everyone there is super sweet I would definitely recommend this place and I'm looking forward to coming again!!

Greg K.

Yelp
This is one of the best tonkotsu ramen I ever had in the Bay Area. The lunch special provides many options. It even comes with a delicious dessert of green tea ice cream with red bean topping and mochi. The sitting capacity is limited to about 26 max but they were able to turn tables over fairly quickly. We waited about 30-45 minutes but it was worth the wait. Will definitely go back to try other combinations.

Sam K.

Yelp
Finally got to try their lunch special: one appetizer/side, one entree, and one dessert. I got the spicy tuna roll, tan tan ramen, and a dessert they set for everyone. Only thing I would reorder is the ramen and the broth was rich and the noodles were aldente. The dessert was small but was a nice sweet touch at the end. Spicy tuna roll was average but great for the price. The wait for a table was pretty long on a week day for two people so I would suggest to get there before 12pm. The interior is well done and cohesive with Japanese art work throughout. Would come back for lunch.

Yelp
This new ramen-focused spot has taken over the old Nono location, and I actually like the food better than Nono. Still the same cozy izakaya atmosphere, but more noodles! The menu is reasonably priced, and all the food is very flavorful. Out of the appetizers, my favorite was the okonomiyaki. I had the "super good tantan" ramen and it indeed lived up to its name. Broth really packed in a lot of umami flavor. Our server was really friendly and said the super good tan tan was her favorite too!
google avatar

Susan S.

Yelp
Came in for lunch and had their lunch special. You can pick two options and it comes with a dessert as well! Food was perfectly seasoned and presentation was so pretty. Their soft boiled eggs were done perfectly and the yolk was the brightest shade of orange! The food was delicious and I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Ji R.

Yelp
I usually skip the salad unless it got protein in it, but I did try this one because it looks so pretty with the lotus root thing that they decorate it with. And it's undeniably fresh and I like the crunch. But heads up my dear picky eaters, there's some sweet bell pepper in it (whyyy). If there has to be something yellow in it, I'd rather take banana peels or my old rain coat... As for our main source of carbs of the night, we ordered the pork belly rice and garlic noodle. That bowl of pork and steaming rice is a promise to richness heaven... My friend ate it like most decent human beings do--a spoonful of rice with a piece of pork. Me, on the other hand, went the other direction. I pressed and stirred the pork belly and made sure the fatty part got mixed in real good with the sauce, coating every grain of rice in my bowl. And I didn't remember what happened next. The bowl was empty and my friend looked horrified. As for the garlic noodle, didn't even get to take a picture before I finished the whole thing. The garlic sauce is just so good. The only regret this time is that we were too full to look at the dessert menu. Maybe next time we won't start with too many rounds of carbs. Be back very soon!

Yelp
A great new restaurant located on Fillmore . My friend and I checked this place out because they were having a grand opening special and we're so glad we did. The moment we stepped inside, we knew that this would be one of our go to spots in the city. The scene is very chill, not too loud or too bright. One thing we loved was the decor. Nice wood Japanese design with hanging light bulbs, rustic bowls, and wooden tables. The food was also amazing. Everything was freshly prepared and delish from start to finish. We got the kimchi tofu, karaage, shrimp dumpling for starters, all of which were very tasty. We then went on to the main course, the Sumo tonkotsu ramen and coconut chicken ramen and it was definitely what we were hoping for in a Japanese dish. The veggies were fresh, the ramen broth was flavorful, and the meat was tasty. We finished off the night with the Green-tea Panna Cotta was a refreshing taste after eating all the salty foods. It's a really light dessert but it was extremely delicious, we also heard they are from the same owner as NoNo( the previous business that's gonna move to new location a block away) Overall, we're definitely coming back here, not only for the great ambience and service, but also cause the food was great! We'll see you soon ramen Ninniku !

Yelp
Wow this place blew my socks off. Delicate and rich ramen broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and a generous amount of thin sliced pork. This place is going to shake up the ramen standings in SF. Not only was the pork-belly literally falling apart. The roasted to a crisp garlic is exactly the bold flavor I'm craving in my ramen. Can't say enough good things about the sumo tonkatsu. I also had the spicy tuna. Fresh, balanced, and expertly prepared. Service was excellent and atmosphere thoughtfully curated. I will absolutely be back

Yelp
Walked by this place a few days ago and surprised to see a new restaurant. Meet friends from out of town for lunch and we all enjoyed the experience. Very kind and friendly waitstaff and enjoyed the small plates with our ramen. Sorry no pictures too just eating and enjoying the atmosphere. Light flavors and nice fusion spin. We enjoyed the shrimp dumplings, ban ban chicken, tan tan men, sumo ramen, coconut shoyu ramen, spicy tuna tartare, and Japanese potato salad. Finished with strawberry panna cotta with matcha. Loved the strawberry compote. Lots of food to enjoy while catching up with an intimate gathering friends. It's a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
The ramen tasted exceptionally well and is also incredibly well priced considering SF prices. 10/10 will revisit.

Yelp
Passed by this place with my friend after movie and wanted to give it a try. The ban ban chicken salad and was surprisingly good. Very refreshing and appetizing. Was craving ramen, so I ordered the tan tan ramen. I don't usually like spicy but it was the right amount of spicy. The broth was rich but surprisingly refreshing. The egg is a must add, very fresh and rich. Overall great experience, would definitely come back.

Yelp
Since I was craving for some authentic Japanese food, I decided to go to Nono and was surprised being told that they had moved to another location few blocks away. Now Ninniku ramen take over, so I gave it try since I could not resist the big, beautiful, welcoming smile from the waitress. The ambiance is similar to Nono, but it is more spacious now cause they remove some stuffs from the dining area. For my starter, I got myself a spicy tuna tartar, which I enjoyed so much that it almost took me back to the time when I was in Japan. The tuna was so fresh, hinted with a flavor of spiciness that almost blown my mind, the thin slice of lotus roots that come with it make it perfectly balancing to the dish. The kimchi tofu was so soft and flavorful that I could feel it literally melted in my mouth. Now come the main dish that I enjoyed the most, of course, the tonkotsu ramen. I have eaten tonkotsu ramen everywhere , from East coast to West coast, from New York to Los Angeles, from North America to Asia, yet the ramen from Ninniku makes me question my own existence for the first time in my life. I wish I could have eaten it way sooner. The broth was so rich and creamy in flavor, that I finished every drop of it. the thin slice of pork belly not too lean, not too fatty was so perfectly cook that it lighten my mood, open my mind, as though I went through the six stages of emotion in 15 mintues while I was eating the tonkotsu ramen. Tear in my eyes, it reminded me of my ex girl friend, Nikita, whom had sadly broken up with me due to some personal circumstances. I wonder if the owner or the chef, whom, undenniable, had mastered the ancient art of ramen cooking technique, has similar experiences. Overall, this is the best experience that I had have so far, the food and services was so good that I recommend anyone to give it a try. I will be back. Thanks Ninniku.
