Nissi Bánh mi

Nissi Banh is a Vietnamese deli, which is a staple of many Vietnamese communities. There are a lot of freshly made take-out and pantry items to choose from, and the staff is always nice. I would recommend these options: * bánh giò (banana leaf wrapped steam rice cake with ground pork) - The rice cake and pork are moist and tasty. * nem nướng (pork meatball skewers) were really good and the flavor is just like the ones I ate growing up * bánh ít trần (mung bean sticky rice dumplings): soo good with nice amount of filling The bánh cuốn (rice rolls with ground pork) were okay, but from my experience, it’s harder to maintain freshness for this unless you go to a sit-down restaurant that serves it as soon as it’s made. I haven’t tried the bánh mì or drinks here, which seem to be the most popular options here, but will hopefully be back to try them.

Fast, reasonably priced, and delicious. Stopped here on a whim to grab some lunch on my way to the airport and was blown away. Will not be part of my air port commute every time!

walking in feels like walking into someone’s kitchen, which is always a good sign for southend establishments. simple menu but lots of variety here, especially with the boxed foods. i got 2 of their banh mi dac biet and 4 egg rolls - $16! extremely reasonable price!! the banh mi is SO good, just as good as saigon deli’s and any seattle native who is familiar with the asian food scene knows thats a huge compliment. they dont skimp on the meat!!! the egg rolls were also very well seasoned and big. the lady who helped me out today was very sweet and friendly! i was originally gonna get the meatballs but she let me know they were a little messed up today and not good, and i appreciate the honesty!! definitely stop by here if you’re in the area!! ^_^

The ladies that run this deli are incredibly nice and friendly, and the banh mi sandwiches are VERY good, and very affordable. This has become a regular lunch spot for me. Highly recommend if you love a good banh mi.

I went here and got a bunch of sandwhiches for super cheap. They were delicious. The staff was very helpful and this nice lady gave me 3 egg rolls for free. Awesome people and food!

One of the ladies didn’t know how to use the credit card machine. She charged my card and couldn’t figure out how to print the receipt. She called another lady to help her. She decided to charged my card again. I asked her if she canceled the previous transaction she said yes very confidently. My bank alerted me that they charged me twice a week later. 🙄 Sandwich was mediocre as well. I not coming back here…

The sweet Vietnamese aunties here are so nice. They open early. Really great price and the foods taste is like how my Vietnamese family cook :)

Such incredible banh mi and sweet people! Been going to another Seattle Banh Mi institution for my entire life, but this is my new favorite place- so so good!

Knew I would be out all day, so I picked up some Nissi Banh in the morning and it's just as good as I remember. I swung by around 10 AM on a Saturday and they were still cooking up the hot foods, so the store smelled amazing. If you have a preference for the rice plates or some of the roast meats, you may want to come a bit later in the day. This time I dropped 15 bucks and got 2 sandwiches and 1 banh xeo; Nissi Banh continues to deliver quality at some of the best value in Seattle. Nissi Special (4.5/5): This is effectively the Dac Biet (cold cut combo), but with some extra pork floss and extra sauce. I think it's like 50 cents more expensive and absolutely worth it. I'll admit I've always had a preference for the cold cut banh mi, but this is definitely my top pick. Banh Xeo (4.25/5): Even after sitting in a bag for a couple hours, the banh xeo managed to stay decently crispy. It came with a bag of lettuce and herbs for freshness. Fantastic texture and great flavor, nothing not to love here.

There is nothing I love more then their banh mi. Post pandemic i set myself to try all the banh mi's in the city. I can promise you the special banh mi will not disappoint you! The service is great, sometimes a language barrier but nothing too difficult, I always call in! The store sells a variety of different options of vietnamese cuisine. The vibes there are also chill, supermarket + deli situation. The special banh mi comes to like $6.69!

Wow, I am thrilled to see a place that brought me back to when I first came to Seattle 31 years ago. The Deli then is alike what Nissi is today. Variety. I noticed over the year, the local deli has reduced their choices to what is available, and often hike a little in prices. Nissi reminds you that quality and variety exists! The prossutio version of ham "NEM," is nice rolled calling me out from the fridge. The Eggroll is fried to perfections. Othello is the official new "Little Saigon." of Seattle. Around the corner at Le's Deli & Cafe, I can find amazing patesue, a Vietnamese flaky pastry. Here at this Nissi Deli, I can also get fully fried fish for $7.50, freshly Sticky Rice, and tons of other treats. Look forward to my next visit.

Such a great hidden gem- so make sure to keep an eye out! We've ordered deli items here, catering, drinks, and I can't recommend Nissi Banh enough! Everything is top notch quality, on time and delicious. The price is extremely reasonable, you really get a big bang for your buck. We live 30+ mins away but will travel and order here for all our events and cravings. They are very clean too which makes you feel better when eating the food. You can see into the kitchen and it is well kept and organized. I highly recommend Nissi Banh, 5/5 stars!

Best banh mi I've ever had! Also have Spam banh mi available off menu. They closed on Sundays. The ladies behind the counter are sweet.

Literally the best bahn mi sandwich spot ever! And I've had my familiar share of bahn Mi. I had the chicken sandwich and the beef sandwich. Both are incredibly juice! Just dripping in juice. For $6 a sandwich you literally can't beat that flavor nor bang for your buck. The ladies working the counter and the back of the kitchen were super polite & always had a smile on their face. We were greeted as soon as we stepped foot inside. They also have other yummy looking dishes for $10 We'll definitely be back here soon to feast once again.

I loved this little place! The banh mi was great and the cafe sua da was delish!! The ladies working there were so nice to me - we chatted a lot and they were surprised I knew how to say "cafe sua da!" I can't wait to go back and try more.

I think I found my spot for banh mi. My go to is cold cut/special combo banh mi and this is one of the best I've had in WA! Their price is very reasonable. I live about 30min+ away and would go back here to get their sandwich again!

Normally they'll charged 50cents for the transaction under 10$. This is the first time l've seen the Non-Cash Charge from the restaurant.

I came back to try their bánh mì and it was much better than expected! For $6, and from other reviews, I was fully expecting to receive a demi-baguette. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was full-sized! Though it was stuffed to the brim with good meat and veggies, I would sadly say that the taste was mediocre. I also didn't like that the carrots and daikons were sliced too thickly sliced-- this made quite a few fall off the sandwich as I was eating. But overall, for $6, this is godly. I will definitely come back for more! :)

Good Vietnamese sandwiches, the bread is so fresh and tasty. They also have daily specials Vietnamese food too. Their bánh cuốn and bánh bột lọc is delicious. And the price is very reasonable.

Friendly staff. The ladies working there always have a smile and are very welcoming. My go to is the chicken banh mi, their other items are fantastic as well. Don't sleep on the prepared items/snacks and daily specials.

Fantastic Food with reasonal price. Can you imagine a sandwich costs only $6 with lots of meat and vegetables. The owner and people work there are very friendly and warm welcome. Working surface is very clean and open. I can see every step they make for my order. They make very fast and professional unlike other Asian store. They have diversity menu like eggroll, springroll, ,toast bread only $3/piece, corn dog bread, bbq pork, bbq chicken, beef short rip rice, vietnamese sandwiches, 3 color sweet soup, jelly, vietnamese coffee, smoothies Boba and more... Definitely Recommended!!!!​

A must try!! Food was absolutely amazing, prices were extremely reasonable, and service was the best I've received anywhere. The ambiance is small and intimate: a hole in the wall, but clean and tidy. The owner is on a mission to generously feed and lift up her community; she is a truly inspiring figure and pillar of her community. And she makes some damn good food, so come give Nissi a try!

Don't sleep on this place. I will definitely come back to this place for the low prices and delicious food. This deli just reopened after redoing those plumbing. The staff are friendly and were willing to sit down and describe their menu and desserts that are out on the counter. We got a banh mi (special), the durian/pandan cakes, and spring rolls. All were AMAZING. The banh mi was huge and good to split between two people. They do add mayo along with pate but you can ask to do without. They also add a bit of pork sung in their banh mi which I thought was a nice touch. The spring roll sauce was better than I've had anywhere else and the rolls themselves were fresh. Everything is made in house and they take credit cards. I'm going back and taking some pics to update this review.

The best banh mi dac biet in Seattle!!! It was so good, the second time I got it, I had to buy extra for family and friends. And they all agreed it is the best dac biet they've had. They all wanted to know where is Nissi. It's a small deli. The prices are great. The owner was very nice. We spoke for a while and she was so sweet to my little girls.

One of my favorite banh mi sandwiches in all of Seattle. I always get a roast pork banh mi!! Absolutely delisciouso!

Service is good and wonderful nice ladies! I got their combo ($6) sandwiches, lots of meat & veggies. Also their Banh tet Sticky rice good price $20 cheaper than any other places. I would recommend if anyone wants more meat & veggies on their sandwich.

Authentic spot with a lot of variety, and everything we had was tasty: chicken and pork bahn mi, a flavorful chicken and rice dish, and sweet sesame mung bean balls. We will be back.

Boyfriend took me here. He absolutely loves Vietnamese food (he has spent some time there). I had a sandwich that was chock full of veggies and had so many layered tasted I was so pleasantly delighted. Very fresh ingredients and well made. Looking forward to coming back.
