"Nite Owl, a restaurant and bar designed to look like a cooler version of your grandparents’ basement, is a new-school dive. The bar serves a great namesake burger and house-cut fries, meaty and vegan sliders, and an endlessly creative lineup of drinks. Look out for cocktails like the Tijuana Brass, made with mezcal, tequila reposado, serrano, ginger, lime, cilantro, and allspice. Find more solid cocktails and an old-school brunch menu at sister restaurant Fizzy’s in Little Bohemia." - Sarah Baker Hansen

Nice bar, I’ve been a couple times. The cocktails are really good. Haven’t tried much of the food, but my guest snacked on a BIRDHOUSE BAO which she enjoyed. Bartenders are chill. I’m not a fan of the furnishing. They have an outdoor area too. I do recommend giving this place a try.

This was honestly so unexpected. Nite Owl seemed like a pretty unique cocktail joint, but this food was exceptional! The cauliflower wings were perfectly fried with an amazing Korean BBQ sauce and simply look at this bao bun. This place was a whole vibe. They have well-crafted cocktails, dim lighting, and such a unique aesthetic. Come for the chill atmosphere and stick around for the great drinks and food. Honestly, the only reason it didn’t get the fifth star is because the lighting was a little too dim for my liking and it was so loud in there we could hardly hear the people across the table from us. Maybe it was the acoustics of the room or maybe it was the amount of people. Not sure, but other than those small picky things, make sure it’s on your list. Next time you are in the Blackstone District!!

I absolutely adore this place. They don't allow kids, which is always a win. They also have a funky interior, an outdoor seating area, and delicious vegan options. It's definitely a place you should visit

Our favorite spot for late night food in Omaha. You must try the Nite Owl burger! Everyone talks about their tatchos which are so good but if you like chicken wings, you need to try the Korean barbecue wings 🤤 My husband loves ordering an old fashion from here. Unfortunately, they don’t have espresso martinis… so I ordered the espresso/lime drink. They have a very dark and moody vibe inside. It’s very retro and cool and they always screen old movies. Last time we were here they were screening Godzilla. In the summertime it’s so fun to hang out on the patio. If you haven’t been here yet, you must try it out!

Greeted by the new security guy and had an amazing conversation with him! Overall the restaurant was exceptional! The ambiance was vibrant, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious with a great variety to choose from. The atmosphere lively with fantastic music and a diverse crowd. Overall, it's a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a memorable dining and nightlife experience.

"This bar is fantastic! They serve up some great drinks, and I love that they have vegan food options. The atmosphere is laid-back and cool, perfect for hanging out with friends or just unwinding after a long day. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome. It's definitely one of my favorite spots in town for a fun night out. The combination of great drinks, good vibes, and tasty vegan options makes it a place I love coming back to again and again."

Best Old Fashioned around. Came here for a birthday party in the backoom and it is a very cozy environment. Staff was great. Highly recommended!

We went specifically for the Korean corn dogs that's only available on Tuesday. When we went there was a lot of seating inside. They have a beautiful mostly covered patio on the outside as well. When you order, you need to go up to the bar. They will bring the food out to you but you should wait for your drink. They did but let my friend bring me the drink I ordered and paid for to the table, but I understand that because they don't know who's at your party and they don't want someone messing with your drink. This particular corn dog had a habanero, hot dorito batter? Whatever they did, I will say it was mighty tasty. That was a firm 5 star item. Tots 3.5 stars I was told this was very delicious but tonight's offering was a bit limp and not that crispy. I'm told this was not the norm by others. Lemon pepper wings 4 stars Caribbean Curry battered wings 3.75-4.25 stars. The sauce, batter and size if the wings for the second flavor was amazing but the actual chicken itself was lacking in flavor. Ironically due to the ridiculous meatiness of the wing, it made it more apparent that the flavor didn't penetrate into the meat (not that it needs to but it just tasted bland). The lemon pepper wings weren't as noticable for this. The crab Rangoon gets a 4. I'm not a huge fan of crab Rangoon but this was a pleasant surprise. I could taste the Seafood inside and the sauce was a pleasant compliment. I was told they were known for their chicken slider. I ordered it. It's a 4. I can't say I loved it (that's a 5) but I appreciated the sweet sauce and slaw that brightened it up. Parking is difficult as it is in Blackstone, however there was a free Blackstone parking lot behind the building. I didn't realize that was parking that included them at first. There is of course metered parking on the street along with free side street parking. It's just a busy area.
