I had the banana pudding biscoff ice cream infused with Hennessy! 10/10 Overall I really enjoyed the aesthetic and the costumer service! It’s a cute place for an ice cream date. They also have board games!

I've been to Nitro Nostalgia a number of times and each time I've tried something new on their menu. The atmosphere is cozy and staff are very pleasant. Watching the process of them making the ice cream is fun to watch also. They have various games, music, and movies streaming. The empanadas are delicious and filled with a lot inside. My favorite ice cream so far has been boozy lemon sorbet (not pictured). This place is great for family outings and friendly gatherings. I could see it being a cute date night spot too. The best part is that it's right in the neighborhood so I can get there within a few minutes. They have events often which support other local black owned businesses so it's been a win-win each time I've come.

Hanging out with my daughters today in our neighborhood. I’ll be in hot yoga for sure this week. Nitro Nostalgia in Bronzeville (43rd and Cottage) Black Owned and family operated. Its delicious! I got the sweetest taboo and my girls got the Strawberry Letter 43. 21 and older can make it boozy. We played some games while we enjoyed our treats. 🤭

Such a fun spot in the neighborhood. We came here for the first time and ordered the Crazy in Love and Papa Don't Peach ice creams. So smooth and delicious! It was fun watching the nitrogen process happen too. A smidge pricier than other ice cream places, but we will definitely be back to treat ourselves!

Nitro Nostalgia is definitely a vibe. Unique art atmosphere with board games 😊😃, tasty ice cream, creamy shakes, savory empanadas and for 21+ you can have a spiked option ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 😋 this is well though out with great portions and fair prices add a visit to your agenda ASAP.

My experience was not pleasant today. My mom and I have been in Nitro for an hour and fifteen minutes and we still have not received our order. No accountability for losing our ticket. For this terribly long wait, I hope my ice cream is a good as the first time. Because this is ridiculous. When I asked about the order and told them that everyone that came in after us had left with their order they said that they didn't have the ticket and it will be ready in 10 minutes. I'm still here.

Nitro Nostalgia is a true gem on the South Side of Chicago! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the passion and creativity behind everything they do. But let me tell you, that waffle cone was something else. In my 55 years on this planet, I’ve had a lot of ice cream, but this was hands down one of the best cones I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp, warm, and flavorful, paired with the freshest, most decadent ice cream you could ask for. The nostalgic vibe, attention to detail, and friendly staff made the entire experience unforgettable. If you’re anywhere near the South Side, do yourself a favor and stop by. Nitro Nostalgia isn’t just a treat. It’s a memory in the making.
