No Sauce AZ Smokehouse

Today was my first time visiting no sauce. I was greater by two gentlemen that were kind and attentive. I ordered a tip (pork) and link combo. The restaurant is called no sauce but the sauce is super delicious 😋 tip had a nice smoke and not over cooked. I would have liked the fries to be a little more well done but overall the meal was good! I'll be back

Pleasent facility clean and welcoming. Good food. Cooked well. Definitely what the community needs. Friendly staff. The brisket is very good. Portion size is in abundance and worth the price. The owner was very pleasant and friendly. Came out and spoke to me for a long time. Was very personable and inviting. Made you feel like you were at home.

i never got to try their food. i thought that they were open because on google it said that the location was open but theyre closed down. i was told that store was broken into. they've been closed for 2 weeks now. so if your looking foward to ordering here you won't have any luck don't waste your time this location is permanently closed. im only giving zero stars because i wasnt able to experience it for myself

These were literally some of the best ribs I ever had great flavor got a little bit of spiciness to it Smoky sweet sauce it is definitely great barbecue and I will definitely be returning to get more and try different items.

Super disappointed first time I tried I had Turkey tips and I like the sauce and fries today I was like let me try their regular ribs. I come home open it and I was soooooo disappointed. My mom was even like oh no way they sold you this calling it rib tips. My parents were rib connoisseurs and our fav spot was Ribs Unlimited and Sonny’s but they’ve been closed for forever and finally found Sonny’s opened up all the way over East so finding ribs been near has been so hard. It’s sad because the worker or owner or whoever he is so nice and the place is very nice and clean and even the reviews were good but this ain’t it. Asked for fries well done and they were so greasy and they barely had any sauce on the ribs. I wouldn’t even sell something like this. Waste of my money and still hungry!

The meal was delicious! Smoking is a low/slow process. It add's much flavor, but can take a while. So with that in mind enjoy.

D E licious!!! I've only had tips (pork) & fries but, I really enjoyed the texture and flavor. The tips are wellseasoned while still allowing the meat to be the 'star'. I enjoy a good bbq sauce but, I always get it on the side at a new place to make sure they aren't masking a poor cook. Definitely not the case here! And, the sauce is delicious on it's own.

Highly recommend! I mean where do I start? Great customer service, Everything I’ve tried is amazing! Everything is super flavorful and you can tell it’s made with LOVE! My absolute favorite is the pork and turkey rib tips; the meat is beyond tender. Literally the best BBQ in Chicago, y'all better check Mr. NoSauce out ASAP, you won’t be disappointed.

This to me is some of the best barbecue in Chicago. The staff is very kind and helpful as well as the food portions are very generous. This is a must go if you're looking for some great barbecue and also just a good atmosphere.

Tik Tok is where I get most of my recommendations and No Sauce was coming up on my radar. I knew exactly where it was as a Chinese place was originally there. The place was clean. When I walked in no one was at the counter, but someone came towards the counter about 5 mins which gave me time to look over the menu. I ordered Chicken Wings and Turkey Tips. They told me it would be about 20 mins. So, I decided to drive home since this place is close. On my drive home I looked at the reciept and noticed that they rung me up for regular rib tips. I gave a call and the person just said Hello. No Professional greeting. I informed them that I wanted turkey tips and not rib tips and they let me know that they were sold out of turkey tips. I let them know I wouldn't be able to eat them, and they took care of the situation. The chicken wings were good, but the sauce was the star. I enjoyed it. The Customer service was okay, and the food was okay. I am still interested in getting some turkey tips so I will try again.

First timer! They just moved to this location. Had the combo today and it was EVERYTHING!!!! The sauce is to die for. The food was so fresh and the meet was falling off the bone. There was so much food I could only eat half. The combo had rib tips and I had a pork sandwich. They need to bottle and sell this sauce because I will be having dreams about it. Albert the owner is awesome and all the staff is super friendly. I'm obsessed!

First timer here ...Wait time horrible then they ran out of ribs after already waiting for 37 mins food was great but order ahead before you get here because me and my family was waiting for over 2 hrs and this was a long drive for me

The flavor of the rub on chicken "tips" is good, but unfortunately he only uses dark meat (chicken legs). The owner is nice and does a lot of flirting to drum up business. The 4 stars is because the hours of operation are inconsistent, so every time you go there you are taking a chance on them being open. This is how most restaurants fail

I won't a place that was close to my house. There wasn't many to choose from but when I found this location it was a hidden jewel. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a great bbq.

Was awesome. Ribs were tender. The Turkey tips were aweful tasty. The fries were a little undercooked. The sauce was good. Overall I will reorder from them.

My building sometimes gets food trucks to pull up for us to support. My kids lovesss ribs and had to have me to get some. The place is called No Sauce and the brick and mortar is on 79th. It was a fixed menu of Turkey Tips and Links, Pork Tips and Links, Brisket Sandwich and Brisket Nachos. The order taker was very nice and had pleasant disposition! Even when this older lady got jiggy with him. Not only was he the order taker but he had to cook too. The place is called No Sauce but both items were sauced. I guess I should have asked but I just assumed you it wouldn't be sauced. A fair assumption I would say. For the Ribs/Link and brisket nachos it was $27 dollars. The ribs had a good flavor but not tender enough, the link had a vinegary taste that I didn't like but my kids loved it! The Brisket Nachos were okay not enough cheese, the brisket was the texture of pot roast at the bottom of the roasting pan. It was just okay to me. How bout adding some green onions and sour cream. However my kids loved it. That's why you are getting three stars. I would say perhaps yesterday's performance was off do to the guy being the cook and the order taker. The food wasn't bad (besides the link) it needed some love to it.

So I heard about this place from the black foodies on tik Tok. They've recommended a few places that I've tried and agreed with what they said. I happen to be in the area so I decided to take the wife for some bbq. We went to the location and was greeted by a friendly Male cashier. He chatted us up and took our order. Very courtous very polite. Suddenly another gentleman came from the back and as my wife and I were expressing our concerns about a bbq place attached to Az( we've never seen a bbq place there on visits or when i lived there) the gentleman starts talking with us. He told us how (they started as a food truck) and moved back to Chicago. The owner had gotten a divorce and came back to heal and help with his elderly mother. He began explaining how they smoke the meat versus traditional charcoal and the benefits of smoking. I was eagerly anticipating tasting the food this gentleman spoke of and obviously took pride in. He also told us about the homemade cake that I had to try. I was overly impressed. The food had very nice portions I ordered a large which took all day to eat and my wife ordered a small which she didn't finish. The smoking process had me impressed. The turkey was tender and delicious. They had slot machines for those wanting to kill a few minutes while their food is freshly prepared. My only complaint is there's no place to dine in. The gentleman who turned out to be the most modest owner has plans to expand and I hope that includes a dine in area. His energy his vibe and his cooking are all wonderful. I will be back and I recommend you try them as well. It's not the best neighborhood bit the food and service more than makes up for that.
