Watch: A Korean Roast Chicken Feast That Boasts a Glorious Bed of Browned, Crunchy Rice | Eater

"A South Korean rotisserie franchise that adapts nurungji—the browned, sometimes crunchy bottom layer of rice—into its signature chicken by rotissering birds in a special wood-fired oven, stuffing them with rice, then spreading that rice on a hot plate beneath the chicken so it crisps into a scorched, flavorful crust. The finished bird is often finished either under a rain of sweet corn and melted cheese or drowned in spicy rice cakes, producing a slightly over-the-top, almost ridiculous mash-up that nonetheless feels deeply satisfying and evokes elements of paella and stone-pot bibimbap; for the writer, the spicy rice cake topping in particular conjures a comforting, homey taste." - Eater Video

It’s always amazing to see more and more establishments offering halal options, and No. 1 Chicken is doing it right. We usually go to their other location that’s closer to our house and have always enjoyed the food there — it’s become a regular spot for us. But this time we were in the area and decided to stop by this location, and it was great to see that they also carry halal items on the menu. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to clearly explain which items are halal and which aren’t, which we really appreciated. We ordered their wings in two flavors — honey garlic and buffalo — and both were on point. Crispy, flavorful, and served fresh. It’s not just the food that makes this place great, but also the care and hospitality they show their customers. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re looking for halal-friendly options in the area.

A Flavor Explosion at No.1 Plus Chicken - Dallas: Cozy Comfort, Fiery Delight This place is a true hidden gem that's quickly become my go-to for an unforgettable chicken experience: No.1 Plus Chicken - Dallas. Don't let its humble, cozy exterior fool you; this little spot packs a mighty punch when it comes to flavor and a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and intimate ambiance. It's the kind of place where you can comfortably settle in for a delicious meal, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a solo culinary adventure. But let's talk about the star of the show: the chicken. Simply put, it's amazing. What truly sets No.1 Plus Chicken apart is their masterful command of spice. For those of us who appreciate a good kick, their spice levels are dialed in to perfection, hitting just the right note without overwhelming the incredible flavors of the chicken. An absolute must-try is their chicken mix with spicy. This dish is a revelation, offering a harmonious blend of textures and an explosion of savory, spicy goodness that will have you reaching for more. And if you're a fan of classic comfort, their chicken wings are equally stellar – crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. As if the fantastic food wasn't enough, No.1 Plus Chicken offers an excellent bonus: a dedicated bar section. This elevates the entire experience, allowing you to pair your incredible chicken with your favorite drinks, adding an extra layer of fun and relaxation to your meal. It's the perfect combination for those who enjoy a lively yet laid-back dining experience. I recommend everyone to try this place at least once ✌️🏻

Google
You have to be able to back up a name like No. 1 Plus Chicken. I gave this place a shot and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was fried very well, and the sauce was amazing. You can choose the amount of spice. The staff was fun and helpful. I would definitely visit again.

Google
The food here is fresh, well-seasoned, and some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. I tried the original with spicy seasoning and a side of their green onion topping, both of which were excellent. Highly recommended.

Google
No. 1 Plus chicken has a great assortment of Korean fried chicken. The waiting staff was nice, but it took a while to seat us and for the food to come out. The Korean fried chicken was good and very tasty. Teokbokki was also great and the chicken being halal is a huge plus!

Google
Great spot to eat and investigate how Korean style 😋 fried chicken is a whole different experience. Usually, we go to BBQ chicken for chicken and taeboki . We were not disappointed. Don't sleep 😴 on their sweet potato fries.

Google
Good but could be better. There was so much dressing on the onion salad that it was almost soup! The kimchi was very blah, like it came from Costco. The chicken was crispy and hot but the traditional sauce they used on it was ice cold. That made the chicken taste weird. The dry rub is no joke so be careful with the spice level you chose.

Google
Awesome tasty!!! 😍 Absolutely delicious! The market style chicken is a must-try — the flavor is insane!! And there’s a young Asian guy who works on weekends, and he’s always incredibly kind — it really leaves an impression every time I go on Friday.

Yelp
Me and my friends tried No.1 Plus Chicken for the first time. For being a small whole in the wall restaurant, they offer HUGE flavors! The food was amazing and not sure if she was the owner or manager. But whoever she was, her interaction with me and my friends made the experience that much more memorable! Highly recommend checking them out!!

Yelp
Amazing high quality Korean fried chicken!! I've been here a couple of different times and each time the service was great and the workers were super friendly. The shop can get busy quickly but atmosphere is great for a couple of friends or even a date. I highly recommend the Korean fried chicken with the Yangyum sauce. Perfect level of sweetness and spice! I prefer to go for the boneless because they're easier to eat, but either way is good to be honest. Appetizers such as the corn cheese are also very good! I'll definitely keep coming back when I'm in the area!

Yelp
Came at around 2pm on a Sunday and it was decently busy for a small restaurant. The tables were maybe 3/4 full. There was only one woman dealing with customers. I think she was the owner. She definitely had boss energy lol she was super friendly and helpful, even while being busy running all over the restaurant. She took to-go orders at the front, took orders at tables, and ran all food out to the tables. She had great energy, being so nice and hardworking, it made me want to come back to support her business. Food came out pretty fast. First small dish came out within 5-10 mins and the last entree came out in about 20 mins. Wings come slightly spicy with ranch and a small cabbage slaw. Also, you can get 2 flavors with the 10pc wings! Not sure how many flavors you get with the other counts, but just ask when ordering. GREEN ONION SLAW: I think I got the large on accident because I didn't specify size, so be careful about that. It was good, but I would've preferred the smaller size because it was only me eating it. The sauce is only drizzled on top, so it didn't feel like enough for how much green onions there were. I ended up ordering more sauce. HONEY GARLIC BREADED WINGS: Very mild flavor, despite having a little kick to it. I didn't mind that much because the chicken itself was so good, but I wouldn't get this flavor again. Loved the fry and crispy texture though. It was also super moist! MANGO BBQ BREADED WINGS: Good, but I couldn't taste any mango. It seemed difficult to pull off anyway, so I wasn't surprised. It just tasted like a good, slightly sweet bbq. Very flavorful though. YANGYUM COMBO: Came with 4 pieces. A leg, a small thigh, a full wing, and a fourth unidentified piece of white meat. We couldn't figure out what that last piece was lol regardless, though, this was delicious! Very flavorful and moist! Had a little kick to it, and nicely sweet! Highly recommend this flavor! FRENCH FRIES: Very lightly salted. I didn't think it was salted at all, but you could see the salt if you looked closely. I would've wanted more salt/seasoning, but we were given ketchup, which made it better. Cooked a little more than I prefer. More hard than soft. FRIED RICE CAKES: I got this on a whim, so I didn't think much about it, but it wasn't what I was expecting. I think I was thinking "pan-fried" rice cakes...these were "fried" fried. Crunchy and airy. Came with a sweet dipping sauce. They weren't bad, but not what I wanted. If I had ordered them knowing what they were, I probably would've enjoyed it a lot more. Worth a try if you like crunchy snacks.

Yelp
4.5 The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I ordered for delivery, therefore I know the food would be even better if eaten fresh at the restaurant. The food was packaged really well for a delivery order - some of the containers were open to allow the steam to escape and prevent the chicken from getting too soggy. I ordered the half fried chicken, the crack chicken, and the green onion chicken with a side of corn cheese and butter soy rice. It was all delicious. The crack chicken was my personal favorite - the cheesy seasoning was addicting. The green onion chicken was completely new to me and very good. The half fried chicken was great as well and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The corn and rice paired with the chicken nicely. When I visit Dallas again, I'll be sure to stop in-person and enjoy the good hot and fresh. No photos since it was delivery but it was great! No remarks on the service or ambiance, but a great spot!

Yelp
They cross contaminate the fish and chicken in the same grease. I was hoping to try this place, but because of my allergies. I had to rate this place a 1 star.

Yelp
Good but not my favorite! Super small restaurant so you may have to wait or sit close to others. Got the wings and tbh they're not really Korean fried wings. More so just wings. Got the extreme spicy - not bad just a sprinkly of heat and the yangyym- not bad, spicy sweet combo. Not gonna be my go to honestly.

Yelp
My favourite fried chicken spot! As I get older, I try to stay away from greasy food and eating super late night... but this place is my favourite! Always fresh, double fried, crispy and juicy! I love the spicy original. They have lots of different flavours and this place is hands down unmatched. Even the curly fries are delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Not bad at all. The rice with butter and soy was surprisingly such a delicious side. I honestly could eat like 4 of em.... I know cuz I almost did. The cheese chicken is probably the best of the flavors. The rose rice cakes were pretty good. Worth a visit.

Yelp
I had VERY high hopes as this place was voted the best Korean fried chicken in DFW. I was expecting battered, double fried and extra crispy type of wings. I guess I should've known when they offered ranch with the wings But it reminded me more of Popeyes wings covered in some seasoning than Korean fried chicken. The original, tasted like Popeyes, with a little bit of spice. The spicy was spicy, but only seasoned on one side. The soy and their sweet and spicy were average. Overall, it was good, but not something to write home about.
google avatar

Yelp
We definitely overordered, but everything was as yummy as ever! Favorite for me is the green onion chicken! So good!! I'm not super into very cheesy stuff, so tteokbokki and cheese chicken weren't quite for me. Great service. This location is more airy and bright compared to the other one!

Yelp
My good friend of mine - Byron S told me about this place called - "No. 1 Plus Chicken", so Bruddah man had to check 'em out! Are ya a fan of Korean Frrrrrrried Chicken? If so, then No. 1 Plus Chicken got ya covered! Located at a small strip mall in Dallas, you'll find many other Aisan eateries, as well as a Korean supermarket at this small strip mall. As I walked into No. 1 Plus Chicken, the small little restaurant was packed with folks, so I decided to do take out & eat my grub at my hotel room. Looking over the menu, I decided to get a 10 piece chicken wings with Yangyum sauce (sweet & spicy sauce) and a side of onion rings. What can I say about the grub? The Korean Frrrrrrried Chicken wings was OUTSTANDING! Good flavor, & very meaty pieces of chicken! As for the onion rings, the serving size really surprised me, as the serving was HUGE! Service here was on point, as the clerk who took my order was friendly & had advised me that my food order would take approximately 20 minutes or so (my actual time was a lot faster). Cravin' for KFC? Give No. 1 Plus Chicken a try! Bruddah Fran gives 'em a "shaka" sign!

Yelp
Tucked away in a hidden Asian plaza, No.1 Plus Chicken really packs a punch with their flavorful chicken. It's a great late-night spot, with a warm, social vibe that hits the spot after a night out. The staff was quiet but efficient--they got the job done. My boyfriend and I ordered the rose tteokbokki, which had a rich, savory tomato flavor and great texture, and the combo chicken platter, which came with a variety of pieces and flavors. Everything was delicious and made for amazing leftovers.

Yelp
This is a Dallas must try if you are visiting the area! My friends and I visited this location on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was poppin. The inside of the restaurant is kept pretty warm which was perfect in this cold weather. My friends and I ordered the kimchi fries, fried chicken platter, and sotteok. The kimchi fries are normally my favorite thing here but after trying the sotteok I think those are a clear winner. The rice cakes are deep fried and the sausage is juicy. The sauce on it is not overpowering and brings it all together. Big fan! As for the chicken, it comes out nice and crispy covered in sauce. I think my favorite out of the four flavors we tried is the yangyum (the red sauce). This is a perfect place for a dinner with some friends or coworkers, it has such a familiar vibe to it. The service is always great when I come here and I love how each table has a button to call a server over.

Yelp
So my husband and I were looking for some good Korean fried chicken close to home since our go to spot is closed on Sunday's, and No.1 Plus Chicken did not disappoint!! We got the wings(mango bbq and honey garlic) and green onion chicken. both were extremely flavorful. I also got the butter soy rice and it was so good! I chose to get a side of crack cheese to try it out and it was ok.. I wouldn't want it all over my chicken but just a little is cool! The lady who took my order was super patient and friendly! And even after we made it home our food was still piping hot and crispy! We will definitely be back! I have to try everything.

Yelp
Short wait for a late dinner in the evening. Small restaurant but the vibe was nice; well decorated. Call button on the wall when ready for any service. Waiter was pretty fast. 5 stars mainly for the green onion specialty chicken. Ordered the small portion but the plate still looked pretty big lol. Even if the chicken wasn't coated in sauce, there was a lot of flavor and it was crispy. Also got the honey garlic combo with medium spice. Crispy but wasn't too crazy about the flavor; might try soy in the future instead. Sweet potato fries were good. Overall a nice experience.

Yelp
I was meeting my son for lunch in the N Dallas area and had a craving for wings. So I threw out a wide net on Yelp and found this little spot. I would never had found this hidden gem if it wasn't for Yelp. The reviews were amazing and so we had to give it a shot. It nestled in a little Asian market place strip center. Nothing to really look out from outside but once you step inside....you know this is going to be good. The decor is very cool but there's a small dining room too. What they lack in size they make up for in amazing customer service. Our waiter was friendly, funny and helpful. We decided to split an order of sweet potato fries and two orders of the 10 piece wings. I got mine with breading and the dry rub Cajun. My son opted for the baked and lemon pepper. They take their time cooking but by no means was it a long wait. The sweet potato fries came out first and it was a sizable portion. They were amazing too! Then our wings came out. Just the presentation alone wowed me. The taste was over the top! They were cooked perfectly , the crunch was awesome in the breading and the flavor absolutely spot on! I drove from Fort Worth for lunch and told my wife I would drive her 45 minutes here just to try these wings! Amazing job guys!

Yelp
The chicken was great and the service was even better! They get the crispyness down well

Yelp
I never knew how much chicken I could eat in one sitting until I showed up to No.1 plus chicken. I absolutely love the word plus in the name of the restaurant. I automatically thought of "plus ultra" chicken. So we ordered too much but the best item in the menu was hands down the full chicken original flavor. It came to us cut up, but I have seen it fried whole in another location (carrollton?) Either way, the chicken tasted well seasoned and it was moist. I didn't need any sauce. I could've used some white radish cubes, which we didn't get any (surprising) and we were charged for kimchi which was also surprising. I loved the honey garlic flavor and the green onion chicken "large" is massive. You need a group of 8 ppl to share that fyi. The cheese tteok with honey drizzled on top was notable. I absolutely loved the curly fries and sweet potato fries as well. My only reservation was that I needed 2 additional stomachs to eat all the food we ordered. Overrall, service was excellent. People were attentive. The space is intimate. I'll be back!!!

Yelp
Found this restaurant from an instagram post and it did not disappoint! Been back twice already and love the fried chicken here. I also really enjoy the little rice cakes that come with it and the slaw with green onion. The sauce flavors are phenomenal. Service is always great. The ambience is small and cozy inside.
google avatar

Yelp
Thought the food was delicious and well price for the chicken. I got their most popular dish, the green onion chicken, along with their platter of fried chicken. Honestly, that platter of fried chicken could feed three people if you get a side dish. Service was friendly and efficient. The ambience isn't fancy, but it's not supposed to be fancy. It has a good 치맥 vibe of the chicken and beer.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go if I am craving fried chicken! Outstanding service by one of the servers. Everyone is polite and friendly. Small dining area, the place can get full. Yangyum wings were toothsome, along with the crispy curly fries and honey garlic friend chicken. Plenty of parking. Clean bathroom.
google avatar

Dustin U.

Yelp
Pretty good. A little over priced, but tasty. We went for lunch and I got the fried chicken platter. The original was the best. Service was good and it was a casual atmosphere.
google avatar

Jeannie B.

Yelp
We wanted to try a different place for some Korean chicken. This place is unassuming since it really looks like a whole in the wall. However, some whole in the walls produce some amazing food. (don't worry, I looked at the rating as we came in, we're good) We ordered the Sampler chicken wings. They were all tasty, pretty crispy and did not taste oily like most friend chicken can. My favorite flavor was the honey. We also ordered rose tokkboki and were pleasantly surprised of how good it tasted. Great flavor just enough heat not to overpower the flavor. So good! Service was good. The guy who helped us made some great recommendations that was just enough for the three of us.
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
so yummy!!! we got the half and half with yamyum and honey garlic and it was delicious! also the mixed fries basket was perfect to share with the four of us (: service was great and such a casual, chill ambiance! will definitely be back!
google avatar

Linda P.

Yelp
Had a good time here! We were craving Korean fried chicken after a long day and this place hit the spot! The chicken was made fresh and really good. The radish was fresh and crunchy. The sides were got were all really good. The portion sizes for these dishes were HUGE. Definitely shareable even with a small. Service was great as well. There's a little call button at each table. Place is small but we went midday and it wasn't packed at all. Had a parking lot so isn't hard to find parking.
google avatar

Carl M.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Great service, awesome food and really really clean. Had the samples chicken platter. A lot of food but worth it.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Lunch for two - took 25 minutes to place our order, 15-20 minutes for food to be made & another 15 minutes just to get our bill. Would not recommend coming here if you want to get in and out in under two hours
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Pretty good chicken! I got it togo and it was still good! Not overly sweet like other places korean fried chicken. I would be back!
google avatar

Yelp
This was a place that packs a lot of new tastes and flavors. It is not like anything I have ever had. If I chose to go hear again I would probably lean toward take out. Dining in here you will leave smelling like chicken. That is not such a bad thing but personal preference. We had a sampling of several things: 1. Chicken sample platter- strongly recommend- fun to try the different flavors and seasonings. 2. The onion platter- large was ginormous and a lot of food. It had flavors I am not all that use too. If it had less a vinegar taste and more of a creamy ranch I would be all over it. Still good but not amazing. 3. Fried dumplings- super good 4. Kimchi cheese fries- meh 5. Cheese corn- really good and served hot in cast iron and torched table side. Had great flavor. Only knock is that it was canned corn. Still tasty. The service and waitress was good. If you are looking for a one of a kind meal this place could potentially do that for you.
google avatar

D. Scott C.

Yelp
Had a great experience for our first time. The owner was quirky but nice. Started with some fried dumplings...deliciousness! We had their sampler platter (not its name, but can't remember the actual name). It was delicious. Our favorite was the garlic oil. The other two were also pretty solid. The joint is small and clean. We've been to several KFCs in Aurora CO, and this joint is similar. Can't wait to try them again.
google avatar

Carol F.

Yelp
Never had fried chicken this good. A must go. Hot, crisp, and perfectly fried. We love the Cole slaw too. Don't sleep on this little tiny gem.
google avatar

Yelp
Crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive! The perfect balance of crunch, spice, and sweetness. My sister and I love coming here. The service is great, cute little shop if you want amazing fried chicken.
google avatar

Yelp
Still the best! I live in Carrollton and there's a bunch of Kr chicken places but I still drive to No 1 Plus.
google avatar

Yelp
I was in town for work snd craving Korean fried chicken and man this place did not disappoint. The combo deal was only $32 but it came with 3 trays of tenders (don't judge me I was a bum for not getting bone in). Totally worth the price though. It took me 3 meals to finish it and it had 4 different flavors (hate it so much when places don't do this). Ordered to go. Service: idk didn't dine in. Quality of food: 9.2/10 Worth it: 10/10 Would come back/recommend Could be shared between 3 people if you slap in some rice or something for appetizers.
google avatar

Shamsia U.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place and I wasn't disappointed, although the service could be better. The food came out nice and hot. I ordered the fried original combo and my sister orders the yangum combo. Both were really flavor and delicious, their sweet potato fries are the best. The perfect crispy. Also the portions are great and we had to get or go boxes because it was a lot of food. I am definitely going to come back cause the food was amazing, but this time I'll do a to go order because the service could be better.
google avatar

Cynthia L.

Yelp
Food and service was great. Food was a little expensive for what we ordered in my opinion but it probably just keeping up with all the increasing price's everywhere. My kids love it so worth the price. We all shared one soda and they bring water to your table so your not paying $3 a soda each - it's a can of soda. Ramen was great - we ordered the spicy chicken. Wings- buffalo and Yaugum (sweet and spicy) Any place my kids approve we always go back. Note: this is a really small place and only a few tables not really for big groups. They give discount if you pay in cash.
google avatar

Anthony D.

Yelp
My favorite Korean fried chicken in DFW! My favorite thing to get here is the combo, which can easily stuff me full. The yangyum is a perfect combination of sweet, salty, and spicy and the soy glaze is a nice salty and umami flavor, both perfect for wings. The chicken amount in the combo is a little less than a half order, but is still so. much. food. My last time there, we got the rose kimchi tteokbokki which was delicious! The sauce works so great with the fries from the combo or just plain on rice. As a heads up, they do take reservations, so be sure to call ahead to make sure you won't be waiting long for a table since they are almost always busy!! Looking forward to my next time coming back!

Yelp
Found this on YouTube searching videos for best fried chicken in Dallas. Like many, I love fried chicken (FC) and think I know good FC. I have had it all -- homemade, fast food, grocery store, gas station, fancy, and everything in between. We planned to try the Richardson location on our way out of town, but it's only open in the evenings. So we hit the one on Royal Lane which is open at noon most days. It's a small location with just a few tables, but we had no problem grabbing a table around 1 pm on a Saturday. We ordered the small order of green onion nuggets and a small (8-pc) order of wings. The green onion nuggets were bite sized crispy chunks with a heaping of a green onion "salad"' on top... drizzled on top was a honey mustard type of sauce. It all worked together very well. The nuggets were fairly plain, but fried just right - they definitely worked well with the green onion and sauce. The wings had a mild to medium spice to them. They were very crispy - our server asked if we wanted extra crispy. I ate them plain, but a variety of sauces are available. I wanted to have the chicken plain this time, but would like to try some of their various sauces or combo platters next time. Servings are generous, so it's a great place to take a friend or two, or order a bunch to go. The service was friendly and fairly quick, and they serve a small pitcher of water at your table. In my lifelong search for great chicken, this place was well worth the visit.

Yelp
Highly recommend if you want some good authentic chicken! My only complaint would be how small it is and how it smelled like sewage (it was pouring rain at the time) outside but that isn't necessarily the restaurant's fault. Service was excellent, they will wait on you with hand and foot.
google avatar

Raynalynn L.

Yelp
Everything is so good. The owner is so nice as well. 10/10 chicken best chicken. Definitely eat here. Get the corn cheese. Eat the fried original eat the yang yum. They serve on tangHulu as well.
google avatar

Alice C.

Yelp
Really good, super fresh food. Fast service. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The chicken pieces are nice and meaty. Flavors are packed! Big portions too.

Nicolette F.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing!! We got the sweet and spicy wings and the crack wings. Food and service was amazing, honestly the juiciest chicken wings I've had. Talked to our waiter a little bit and when she found out we were visiting for the first time she gave us a slice of cheesecake on the house! Absolutely will return next time we are in Dallas!

Jack G.

Yelp
I've never had Korean fried chicken before. And when our wonderful waiter brought over the water bottle and tiny styrofoam cups to pour our water into, I was skeptical. However, the food was delicious. We were a hungry duo, so we ordered a full chicken's worth of Fried Original and Yangyum. The Original was crispy and delicious. The Yangyum was sweet and scrumptious. It was so good that we followed it up with a half Honey Garlic chicken that was equally as good! Don't forget the fries or pickled radishes. Both are great palate enhancers and cleansers, respectively. I would totally recommend for any and all fried chicken lovers. No. 1 Plus Chicken is a winner.

Yelp
As expected in Dallas, their korean food is a step above most other cities. I think I'll cut this review rather short. What I like: 1.) Fast service and prompt waiters. Short wait time without reservations. 2.) Food is pretty good. If you love green onion salad, the green onion chicken is a force to be reckoned with. 3.) The curly fries are amazing. Really, don't leave without trying them. 4.) Cool ambiance with your typical Korean elements (wood frame) 5.) Big fan of the Korean fried chicken platter as it offered a nice variety to try and taste all their sauces. What I didn't like: 1.) Narrow entrance with no where to really wait for seating. 2.) Spice level selection seems to be inconsistent. Waiter said "3" is similar to the level of hot cheetos or jalapeños... Yeah, maybe fresh jalapeños, but definitely more than a few thousand Scoville units above the cheetos. Overall, definitely a restaurant that is worth a recommendation to visit. Not the absolute best korean fried chicken I've ever had, but it ranks in my upper half.

Yelp
Always love coming to No.1 Plus Chicken! The platter is a great way to try the different versions of Korean fried chicken and the mixed fries lets you try different sides. Highly rec the cheese corn as well. The owner is the best. She's super attentive and clearly cares so much about the restaurant. The service is top-tier and overall an excellent dining experience!

Yelp
I loved coming to this location, truly enjoyed it. It has been some time since I've been back, but sadly it tastes like a corporate shop no soul, chicken was overly dry and spicy it was just not edible , We lost our taste buds! The Ramen ,I could have driven to Hmart and bought some Jin ramen and added a boiled egg. Our server he was young not a busy night, but he could have been at least a lil more attentive, at least I got a thumbs up once, as an acknowledgment after reminding him of my drink. I was happy, "yay no wait time" not like before 2 people roughly 45min to 1hr 1/2 wait. And now I understand the no wait time.

Yelp
THE BEST kfc I've had. I am usually not a fan of yangnyeom chicken because it gets tiring after a few pieces, but this one I kept going back to it. I really appreciated the extra side of sauce, their hot is so good. There is a little tingle but it's not too hot where it ruins your meal. Love that they added rice cakes. The green onion chicken was sooo good! They do not skimp on onion at all. I had so much, the creamy sauce goes along well with the spice of the onion. Service was 10/10. I ordered online for pickup and it was fast and easy. They even cut out a vent in my chicken so that it didn't get soggy on my way home. Pro-tip: get a side of crack seasoning and sprinkle it all over your fries.
