We stayed at Nobu Barcelona for three nights, having experienced Nobu hotels before and being very familiar with the London standard. Unfortunately, this property doesn’t compare.
The rooms are nice, as expected from Nobu, but the service is far from a five‑star experience. We booked directly through the website with breakfast included. Upon arrival (earlier than check‑in), our room wasn’t ready, but reception offered an upgraded room for a small fee, which we were happy to accept. However, no one seemed to consider transferring the breakfast inclusion.
As a result, breakfast was handled very awkwardly every morning, with staff having to check multiple times whether we were entitled to it. Shortly after entering the room, someone knocked on our door within five minutes to check the minibar, which felt unnecessary and intrusive.
The rooftop is visually nice, but the food is average and drinks are served in plastic cups, which doesn’t align with the Nobu brand at all. Overall, nothing particularly special, and the location is quite poor.
Disappointing compared to other Nobu hotels
