I recently visited the 1st Latin Christmas Bar Lounge, and while there were some highlights, the experience left room for improvement. Admissions was free for ladies, but you had to get tickets first. The ambience was nice, and the downstairs area was beautifully decorated with festive touches that created a warm holiday vibe. The DJ also played great music that kept the energy up. Upon arriving, I had to ask the hostess where the Spanish music was—it’s a Latin-themed lounge, after all! The space was freezing, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The outdoor rooftop had a beautiful view, but the cold made it unusable. The menu was disappointing, offering only three food options that didn’t feel festive or aligned with the theme. My drink took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it didn’t live up to expectations—I couldn’t even finish it. Overall, the place has potential with its decor and music, but they need to work on creating a cozier atmosphere, improving the menu, and stepping up the bar service.

Do not go here. After buying noche buena tickets the only thing we got to see was the basement because there was a private event booked upstairs. Everyone was annoyed because it was very unorganized and when we ordered what we thought was real food we got what looked like something was was microwaved from Costco. I came with my appetite too. It was $19 per drink and like $20 per bite. I had two drinks and two “bites.” “Bites” shown in photo. I had to also pay $20 for parking. I also paid $25 for the ticket to just enter the place. That’s insane. Don’t waste your money.

I had an incredible time at Noche Buena NYC! The two levels of decor were stunning, and the outside terrace was absolutely amazing—such a great vibe. The food and drinks were delicious, perfectly complementing the experience. The DJ set the mood with great Latin music, and my family and I had a blast dancing the night away. Highly recommend for a fun and vibrant night out!

They get a 10/10 for the decorations but not everything else. There’s a 25 dollar entrance fee and drinks and appetizers are about 20 bucks each which I think it’s overpriced. First, no one greeted us in when we arrived at the rooftop and we had to pick our own seats but then I saw that there was actually suppose to be someone by the entrance. We ordered arepas but they didn’t have. We ordered tostones with guac and they didn’t have tostones so they said they’re substituting the tostones for tortilla chips. We ordered both the chicken and ground meat empanadas and some wings. To drink we had a coquito and margarita. The food- I’ve never in my life had guac so salty. Their chips were borderline stale as if the bag where they’re stored was left open overnight or longer. The meats on the empanadas didn’t taste fresh. The wings weren’t so bad. The margarita as alright. The best thing there was the coquito. Tasted home-made. The service- Although our waitress was nice, still had to haunt her down for utensils and napkins. They use disposable utensils which I did not expect for the price we paid. The Asian girls going around taking and selling pictures were more attentive which is a shame. They have a cellar which is a pretty big open space and they only serve alcohol there which isn’t so bad and the music there and the rooftop was pretty good and not so loud where you couldn’t talk but good enough to party. Place was supper crowded which I like and both areas they have are a good size. Overall- Food, drinks, and service are mediocre but the decorations served its purpose which I guess that’s what you’re paying for.

Noche Buena: A Disappointing Experience I recently visited Noche Buena and was thoroughly disappointed. The bar lacked any coherent theme or vision, making it feel like a haphazard collection of random decorations. The rooftop bar had an unpleasant smell of marijuana and plastic, which was off-putting. The decor seemed to be a mix of serapes and poorly coordinated flag-themed trees, giving the impression that they were hastily bought from a dollar store and thrown together. The drinks were ridiculously overpriced and not worth the money. The hot chocolate, in particular, was terrible—something no one's Abuela would ever make. Overall, the drinks were just bad. This place feels like an influencer trap, and I would recommend avoiding it. Its a classic influencer trap please pass on this. I was already in the area which is why I gave it a shot and it still wasn't worth my time. Abismal

After seeing a bunch of negative reviews, I was hestitate to go for my friend's bday. But I'm so glad I went. Yes, it's not super cheap, not something I could do every weekend. However, what is cheap these days. The music was good, it wasn't crowded, parking was easy, the drinks were good, and it was decorated very festive, and the views outside the balcony were beautiful. If you know how to order a drink, it shouldn't be a problem. There's a lot of fun places to take photos, if that's your thing. We danced all night and I'd go back again!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! My friends and I were extremely disappointed. I am a huge fan of Christmas and nonetheless Christmas pop up bars, and thought the idea of a Latin-inspired one was absolutely amazing! The advertisement on insta definitely looked appealing but it totally trolled us. They only have like 4 food options and the food was mediocre. On top of that, they serve the food on PAPER plates. Same with the drinks- they have about 4 drink options and they serve the drinks in plastic cups. Overly priced. It seems like they only put mind into decorating the place… will not go back and do not recommend.

I visited Noche Buena last night, and even though it was raining and the rooftop was closed, we were seated on a floor called The Vault—and it was amazing! The Christmas decor completely blew us away. We RSVP’d and got in for free, plus we found street parking right in front, which was super convenient. While some menu options were unavailable, the coquito and churros were absolutely delicious. The service wasn’t too slow(we arrived at 7PM), and the staff was attentive and friendly. It’s the perfect spot to take festive Christmas photos and dance the night away to some merengue. Highly recommend for a fun and unique holiday experience!

I was super excited when I saw this on social media. Love the concept of a Latin Xmas bar. The decorations were beautiful and they really went all out. The basement floor was huge and it looked like a club. The rooftop was just as beautiful and you can't beat the views of the NYC skyline. The reason I didn't love it were the drinks and food. One they were super expensive. I don't mind paying for a good cocktail but they serve them in a plastic cup. Also, there was nothing festive about it. I expected the drinks to be prettier and more thought into them.

Festive and fun . The decor is Christmas on crack lol. Every inch of the ceiling is covered in lights, bulbs and Latin countries flags. Two levels of festivities with massive bars on each floor. Basement ( accessible by stairs or elevator ).Lounge type seating with dance floor and DJ. Rooftop has lots of table seating and is enclosed and warm . The terrace (open air) offers gorgeous views of the city, truly no match to the indoor decor. Limited menu -Empanadas, Arepas , Tostones with Guac and Churros. Drinks are pricey for the size and frankly are just okay. There's a $20 ticket to enter which I think is probably because there's a dance area . Would be nice for a large group or tourists visiting ( rooftop view ) have some drinks take some holiday pics and dance to lLatin music ( the DJ was very good ) A fun night.

I came to this place twice so far and was only open for five days at the time. The service was so questionable. For one of the events, the male bartender seemed so annoyed everytime someone asked for a drink. The drinks were complimentary and ticket based, we were told we could get any martini but bartender only allowed for lemon drop martinis. They weren't bad but a little on the Sweet side. A friend ordered fries. The online menu said $12 but the ended up charging her $20. They took her money and never brought back change. She asked to cancel the order but the server wouldn't give her back the money or cancel the order until a manager came. It was such a weird ordeal. Its a pricey spot with mediocre food and drinks and rude service.

Tik Tok did their thing and convinced me this was a good idea. Was the decor nice? Absolutely. You get all the Christmas feels and it's heavily Latin inspired. As you walk in you'll hear music, all the drinks are Latin inspired and you'll start to feel like you're truly living your noche buena dreams. However, they charge a $20 cover. That wasn't necessary in my opinion if you are purchasing drinks. The drinks as pictured are in small to go cups. They are a whopping $25 each! Small bites on the menu, not many to select from. Mini empanadas were also $25 each! Unnecessary, overhyped and overpriced in my opinion. It's not really giving holiday spirit. I was highly disappointed and will not be returning.

Beautiful decor, nice music. Floor manager Tito was very nice, gave us background on his experience and inspiration on the bar drinks. The arepas were delicious. Brandy and Sam (bartenders) very hospitable. I went on a Thursday after work and it really gave me that Noche Buena en la Sala de la casa ambiance great music too, and the type of music you don't get in the city bars. I wasn't too excited about the cover but they have a big dance floor so that's pretty standard for places with a dance floor. Will be going back

Big scam. I paid $25 for advanced tickets only to find out they're charging $10 at the door. Green tea shots are $17.50 and gratuity is automatically included. Make it make sense. There's not even a live DJ ...

Saw this on social media and went it's over hype. $28 to get in and the menu has like 8 items. On the website said live music no music. Went in and left immediately. Good is over priced and not worth it. Did not get to order but saw the food super small for the prices. Not worth it. Do not waste your time and energy coming here

Terrible. Prices are through the roof. $20 entrance and $25 per drink on top of that. Nobody stays for long, probably because of the ridiculous prices. Place was relatively empty and people were leaving pretty soon after arriving
