The Best Restaurants in Eugene, Oregon | Eater Portland

"A little more than a decade into its residency in downtown Eugene, Noisette Pastry Kitchen continues to impress with its enticing selection of baguettes, olive oil cakes, flaky chicken hand pies, and breakfast egg tarts crisped with salty cheese. Basking in a sunny French bistro-style corner shop, the patisserie offers treasures beyond the pastry counter including inviting sandwiches stacked with meats and seasonal produce, wine, and mochas swimming with rich chocolate ganache. Experts know to hit up the patisserie on Sunday mornings for New York-style bagels. Walk-ins are always welcome and there are a few tables in the space to enjoy a glass of wine and a treat, but folks can also place orders to-go or for delivery through Grubhub, Uber Eats, and Doordash." - Brenna Houck

While beautiful from the outside and enticing to the palate, I was underwhelmed. The virtue signaling is pretty typical to the area? I guess I believe in living it (love), so it's off putting to see so much signage. The service did not match in kindness. I found myself wondering who they reserve the right not to serve? Isn't that curious? The veggie pie was fine as was the herbal iced tea. Not too polite. I cheated with gluten and took a digestive enzyme. Probably not worth it. 🫤

This is by far the best palmier I have ever had. and their hot apple cider was pretty delicious. I was unfortunately really disappointed with the macaroons, not sure if they were just overcooked today, but they were really crunchy, very different from what you would expect. Staff was very kind and the atmosphere is so welcoming, seems like a great place to relax and enjoy a coffee

Noisette sits with poise at the corner of Charleston and West Broadway in downtown Eugene. Though given the French name for the humble hazelnut, this place may be the empress of bakeries in Eugene. The pastries they had on a random Thursday afternoon when I walked in: the blackberry nectarine pistachio frangipane. The strawberry lavender Tres Leche cake. The mixed very tart with fresh cherry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberries, and two kinds of stone fruit. The coconut custard passionfruit curd which is gluten-free presented so elegantly. The yummy carrot cake sandwich. The coconut cream tart. Then you wander over and you see the olive oil white wine cake. For just $4.95. The lavender lemon tea cake. A cherry custard tart, the palmier. The hazelnut cloud cookies the pecan cloud cookie. The chocolate chunk shortbread cookie. The flourless chocolate cake. And then you see the savory options. The ham Greer on brioche buns with sweet pickles, lettuce, sweet mustard. The caramelized onion sweet red pepper leeks and mozzarella focaccia. The vegetarian savory tart which is leek, kale, artichoke heart, sweet peppers, goat cheese. But my favorite and the one I chose roasted lamb sandwich on sourdough with cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, grilled onions, and harissa aïoli. Next time it will be the mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on baguettes with pesto. I'm not even gonna talk about the Hand pies. All this coming out of one bakery. The presentation is so beautiful. You almost don't want to eat it. And somebody here really loves their plants. They open from 8 to 6 Wednesday to Sunday. All bakers have to rise before the crack of dawn so deserve a break and they take their weekends on Monday and Tuesday. If you're not sure what to get talk to Emily she was super helpful.

If you've never been here, you should RUN here now! I must say, the food here is so off the chart delicious, no matter what you order! I have been here several times & thought I did a review, but I guess I didn't. Anyhow, I got the Coconut Creme Tart, my gal pal Emily got the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Emily had a house coffee made into a mocha & I had a decaf Americano. I seriously wanted to order 15 different items & take them all home! I always order something different when I go, because the flavors are all so creative & exclusive. I will be back! ♡

Google
A barista from my regular coffee house told me about this place today. It was only 11 miles away so I drove straight to it. Customer service is a make or break for me. The staff was very friendly and told me everything is made in house down to the syrup. You can see the bags of wheat ready for milling when you walk in! The smoked trout was delicious and the croissant bread was a WOW. Look forward to going back

Google
Delicious pastries, cookies, bread, sandwiches, and so much more! I’ve heard about Noisette for a while but hadn’t been to eat. Then I went two days in a row. 😋 I went too late to get bread though so I recommend going early in the day if you want their breads to take home.

Google
Noisette has the best Macarons I've ever tasted and they have rotating flavors. The Olive Oil White Wine Cake is very moist tasty and surprisingly light. The Brioche Buns are versatile and delicious. The Palmiers are pure buttery goodness. The Lemon Bars are the perfect balance of tart and sweet. The Peanut Butter Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookie combines all my favorite flavors seamlessly into the perfect Cookie. The Bostock is a Brioche Dough with Orange Blossom Simple Syrup, Almond Cream, Slivered Almonds, and Powdered Sugar. This was the first place I ever had one and it immediately became a favorite of mine. The Chicken Hand Pie has Chicken Breast, Leeks, Mushroom, Whole Grain Mustard, and Fontina Cheese and it's scrumptious. You can get a Latte, Cappuccino, or Mocha, and will not be disappointed. Tasty treats await you at Noisette Pastry Kitchen.

Yelp
To say that this Marionberry Peach pie puts all pies to shame is even too light of a compliment. I will forever think of the baked goods and this bakery, as I don't live in Oregon and quite possibly will make an effort to drive the 2hrs from Portland when visiting. I can't vouch for the coffee as we didn't get any, but if you're considering a few baked goods--get one of each. The pies though? Get two. Yes, they are a size one might consider as a pie to share, but I am a monster and ate the whole damn thing myself, slowly, over the course of 2 days, in the hopes of enjoying it for as long as possible. There are no regrets.

Yelp
Such yummy sweet treats! They have so many fresh treats to offer made fresh that day! They also have gluten free and they catered to my friend's allergy. They are very knowledgeable about what they make there and all the workers were extremely kind and welcoming. They have a good amount of seating, but it is downtown so be prepared to walk if you can't find a close spot!

Yelp
This patisserie is a sight for sore eyes. Amazing baked goods, from sweet to savory, classic tarts to baguettes, and all very inviting. On a day with lovely weather, the doors open up inside to let in fresh air, with seating inside and out. It made for a relaxing and pleasant breakfast. I don't recommend the coffee. But, the quiche, brioche danish, and tarts were great. Great looking baguettes that I hope to try very soon! We'll be back!

Yelp
Almost cried over how good the lemon bars are. Perfectly sweet & tart and brings me back to making lemon bars with my mom as a kid. Veggie hand pies are also amazing, perfectly crispy, herby, and savory. A++!

Yelp
Hey, not bad! During several visits over at least half a decade I've wanted to pay a visit to this little bakery. Glad I finally got a visit in! I picked up several pastries; a savory brioche, croissant with bacon and cheese, a couple kouign amann. Kouign amann are my favorite pastry of all; this one had a bit of cream cheese in it apparently too. It was very good, though a little closer to overbaked than I would have liked. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were as expected. There was quite a lot more seating inside than I expected. Parking was easy for me because Eugene's downtown is not super busy at 8:15 a.m. (Although I couldn't get the meter to let me pay it.) I'm glad that I finally was able to stop by and pick up some goodies. I would return.

Yelp
This pastry kitchen has changed my life! I love bakeries, and it is pretty easy for me to find a reason to explore new-to-me-bakeries. Over 99% of the time will hover towards SWEET PASTRIES, and get something on the sweet side for things, almost always. But, as I was driving over there, I realized that I might be open to the idea of trying a savory pastry. I ended up with two- "The Goat Cheese Biscuit" and "Artichoke Heart, Kale, Leek & Gruyère Veggie brioche" and I split them each in half and shared with my hubby. THEY WERE LIFE CHANGING FOR SURE!! The Goat Cheese Biscuit had so much flavor, with the black pepper and everything, it was very, delicious! 10 out of 10. And, the veggie brioche was amazing also, I have never had anything like that before and it had so much flavor! Also 10 out of 10 for that. I got a Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant for my hubby, I didn't get to try any of it- but he said it was very delicious and well balanced, with a good hint of hazelnut presence. I had the Chocolate Chip Cookie for my self, because I am a basic B - it is one of my favorite type of desserts and it is a good way to get a true judgement of a bakery based on how well they do the simple stuff. The cookie was good, with a really good buttery flavor. IT was a little more crisp than I prefer, I like them more softer & chewier. So, I would probably choose a different sweet pastry for me next time I go, but they have a huge selection, so it will be fun to try different things- like a "Cardamom Snickerdoodle Cookie" that was really tempting! THe pastries were amazing, 100 out of 100 for all, and the service was nice, very quick and helpful, and a really comfortable vibe. I look forward to coming back here more in the upcoming months!

Yelp
Such a cute bakery/ coffee shop. Their offerings of sweet &savory delectables are amazing not to mention their coffee's &teas

Yelp
This Bakery came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The bread and flavors of the Caprese sandwich were spot on. The crust on the hand pies very flaky and beautiful. I finished with the carrot cake, Whoopie pie and Americano. We left very full and satisfied, wanting to come back for more.

Yelp
nice little spot by colleges! unfortunately took bites of all the pastries so don't really have too many pictures we got the hand pie with sausage kale and guyere cheese, carrot cake sando (brown sugar cream cheese frosting inside), chocolate mousse cake, and a palmier. all were pretty good!

Yelp
Cute bakery with lots of cute plant decor. We stopped by for some pastries and coffee for a late afternoon snack. So many yummy pastries to choose from. We had the peanut butter chocolate hazelnut cookie, lavender lemon tea cake, brownie and flourless chocolate cake. My favorite was the brownie, cookie was also really good. The drip coffee was also strong and complimented the desserts. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. We will be back again to try their croissants, breads, and other bakery items.

Yelp
Wow! Quite the spread here at Noisette Pastry Kitchen. I've had their almond pistachio tea cake in the past (YUM) and now I've tried this brioche that is stuffed with an egg, ham, Gruyère, chives, and other goodies. What a fantastic option for a grab and go breakfast. It was so savory and filling--cheesy on the outside and like a small breakfast scramble on the inside. I've never been a huge fan of their coffee as I think it tastes a bit burnt, so I typically just indulge in the food. Not pictured is their refrigerated food window which displays daintier desserts and house made deli salads among other things. You have to pay to park but plenty of spaces around, plus some shorter term parking spots that charge less. Yum yum yum!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little cafe offering well crafted yummy-ness! I've visited Noisette twice now and had a generally nice experience each time. Their croissants are fantastic and I've noticed they offer a few "alternative" options, like a vegan chocolate chip cookie. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the product. Noisette is quite small inside (at least the customer area), and this isn't a place I would suggest to someone planning to hunker down at for some laptop work or anything. But they do have a handful of tables to enjoy your quick bite if you just can't wait to get out the door with your treats. It also can be a bit confusing as to where to order - in front of the baked items/case, or at the registers? Not sure I've done it right either time, but the service is kind and flexible with newbies like me who don't know the drill. Located in the downtown area, parking can be a bit of a challenge and is metered except for on Sundays.

Yelp
This is the bomb of pastry kitchens. Unfortunately, we don't live in Eugene, but if we did, we'd be here every week. Their selection and quality of parties are off the charts. These are classic and modern pastries at their best!
google avatar

Yelp
I lived close to Noisette for a few years and had the privilege to sample a lot of their pastries over the years. Everything was great. My usual go-to were the scones and the seasonal tea cakes. I also loved the fresh and flaky sausage hand pies. The cardamom latte was one of my favorite espresso drinks in town. Really can't go wrong, and I recommend this place to anyone who visits downtown Eugene.
google avatar

Yelp
Upon walking into Noisette I was so impressed with how charming and cute the inside was. There's definitely limited seating but a lot of people are getting pastries to go so if you do want to sit you probably can. The employees were super nice and gave me some good recommendations on what to get. The pastries are on the petite side so definitely get a few and share with friends! They have a wide variety-croissants, scones, brioche, brownies, cookies, etc. savory and sweet! I enjoyed the coffee as well. Would recommend if you want a really delicious homemade baked good with your morning coffee.

Yelp
Couldn't take pictures quick enough because we just wanted to eat the tasty pastries! We had both savory and sweet pastries, they were all so good and flavorful. The pan au chocolate is a classic and so good here!

Yelp
My favorite bakery in Eugene. This place never disappoints. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Having grown up just outside of NYC, I thought every town had great bakeries. Sadly that isn't true that there are great bakeries found in every town. We're here in Eugene are beyond fortunate to have Noisette bakery for our bakery needs. Our introduction to Noisette started with my gf Tammy and I looking for an uncut loaf of Brioche to make stuffed French toast with. We called everywhere and only Noisette could come through for us. We showed up just after 10 and there were still some items in the display area. Aside from our Brioche loaf, we also picked up a croissant and a Kouign Amann. The croissant was on par with that from Acme Bakery in Berkeley CA. The Kouign Amann was better than what I've experienced at Les Madeliene's in Salt Lake City UT and I don't have to drive a bazillion miles for instant gratification. To the crew at Noisette, thank you for putting out such amazing bakery and pastry items and also for being so pleasant. Your lemon bar and Kouign Amann are hands down the best I've ever had the privilege of enjoying. The only other pastry I wish y'all made would be Sfogliatelle. Nevertheless it's wonderful to have a legit bakery in our area - Thank you ~Andy

Yelp
We weee a bit late to catch on the fresh pastries, but what we weee able to get was good. Fast casual service as expected.

Yelp
Amazing cute bakery!!! Service is great and staff are really good at giving recommendation. Highly recommend this place. They even have vegan croissant options. Love it!

Yelp
I adore this place. The food is all excellent, tasty, and fresh, and beautiful, and the staff is friendly. It's easily one of my favorite bakeries in town. The have an awesome selection of pastries, and some good savory items and breads, too. Everything is fresh and they use a lot of local ingredients. I think their desserts are a good balance of sweet and rich without being too much of either. I also appreciate how community-oriented they are.

Fay B.

Yelp
Amazing pastries! I enjoyed the vegetarian brioche. Would definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Jason R.

Yelp
Expensive for average tasting coffee and pastries. I spent $47 plus tip and they managed to give me the wrong items. After asking if I could get the correct items I asked for she let me know the policy they have is if you take the food they can't take it back. Unfortunately for the many coffee and pastry places we have here in Eugene I'll have to give this a one star for my first experience.
google avatar

Darcey H.

Yelp
You had me a Earl Grey Macaron but you really sealed the deal with the coconut cream tart. Or was it the savory vegetable tart? Oh wait, it was the velvety potato leek soup? Or was it the house-made chicken liver pâté and fresh baguette? Well regardless it started with the awe inspiring cakes that are works of art and evolved into a savory happiness. We are so lucky to have a bakery of this sort and caliber. In the true tradition of French bakeries where baguettes are made daily, sweet and savory are offered, and attention to detail is paramount. I actually don't have a big sweet tooth which is why I love this bakery. No matter what I desire they have an answer.

Yelp
Amazing pastries and baked goods!! A regular visit when we are visiting my daughter in Eugene.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite bakery in eugene, so good! The little pies, tartlets, biscuits, and Danish are all so delicious. They make really tasty coffee drinks and have salads and sandwiches. Really beautiful and delicious desserts.
google avatar

Linda N.

Yelp
I read the reviews and took an Uber to this restaurant for breakfast. Based on the reviews I was under the impression that there was more spacious seating and a larger menu. The bakery has a handful of baked goods and three tables with two chairs each. I did have the quiche which honestly was very tasty. There was no wifi available for patrons and my phone was actually not receiving messages while inside which I do not know why. That was difficult since I received a message about a medical last minute opening that I had missed until I walked outside. All in all it was fine but I wouldn't spend Uber money to visit here next time.
google avatar

Jenn H.

Yelp
I couldn't recommend Noisette enough! Nothing is better than a delicious coffee and fresh baked morning pastry! While I've only been here a handful of times I know you can't go wrong with anything here! My favorite thing in the morning is something savory and Noisette never disappoints! The location is situated perfectly downtown and the staff is very warm and welcoming!
google avatar

Kat M.

Yelp
Noisette is fabulous enough for my family to eat at twice in our single day in Eugene. The cappuccinos are delicious. The quiche was delectable. The pastries are divine. Our collective favorite was the almond croissant, but we liked everything. This is a must go to stop!
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Wonderful Bakery. I had a sweet and savory experience. I ordered an egg tart that was delicious. Chris show with a quiche like filling with vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised by the brioche. It looked very simple but it was doughy inside while the topping had a wonderful semi-sweet glaze. I had a steamed chai latte that went perfectly with all my baked goods. The staff were very helpful with making suggestions. There are also dessert tarts and cupcakes and bread.
google avatar

Jailen T.

Yelp
Came in for a quick breakfast bite. There was a fly on some of the items because it is an open storing area. I asked for the pastry that was in the back and hoped a fly hadn't touched it. Prices are great! Came out with 2 baked goods and a macaron for ~$9. Ordered the gruyere brioche with egg and Italian ham. It was so delicious. The edges were lined with crispy cheese, yum! I wish they could've warmed it up for me. My boyfriend also enjoyed his blueberry scone. The lavender macron was very hard and the filling stuck to my teeth, I think they're kept in a fridge. Definitely would pass on these next time.

Yelp
Food was good. Seems like it's one of the most popular businesses in Eugene. But I don't think I'll come back here again. The customer service was fine till I paid. The way they treat some customers during slightly busy time was very interesting. As someone who was in food industry for almost a decade in east village nyc, I know their customer service could've been little bit more thoughtful and delicate. They don't really care about your food/drinks after you have paid. They call out the order once and it's not their business anymore. It's a small store. They gotta know who ordered what. If not they gotta know which coworker took who's order. It seems like you need to stay really close to people who's ordering to realize if your stuff is ready. If this is how they operate, the need to get rid of "tips" screen on their POS. Lol Also I saw this lady who was waiting for her food thought what's hanging around the register (that's where they leave food that's ready to get picked up) was hers. Which is totally understandable since they don't put customers name or try to hand it to the customer who ordered. And this worker took away what the lady was about to grab and gave her this plain emotionless face and stared blankly. This made me felt so awkward watching someone with no bad intention treated like that. The lady felt embarrassed and tried to explain herself. And the cashier said something like this is yours or yours is coming up or whatever along that line. I was right by the bread area and didn't know my bread was ready because I didn't hear anything. Even when I was standing around the register and where the workers stand to grab their attention to ask about my food, it seemed like they didn't see me lol I was suddenly invisible including to the person I ordered and paid to. The level of neglect they have for their customer is beyond me. If they have a better system on how to hand over their food to customers, all of this could've been prevented. Or hire someone who's actually nice‍

Yelp
Yay, Valentine's Day if they perfect excuse to eat everything! Also the perfect day to show love to this local gem, bastion of good food and excellent politics. All the treats you want to eat & all the people you want to support. Also- all the parking and none of the line at sweet life, you're welcome.
google avatar

Slappy C.

Yelp
After scouring most of Eugene and Springfield, I'm not sure there is a better cafe and bakery than Noisette. A very unassuming and unpronounced location, stepping inside it feels like you've just found a local gem. A wide variety of food choices ranging from sweet treats to savory sandwiches, Noisette seems to have something for everyone- and hits the mark with every crowd. Along with whatever your food choice is, the coffee served is done well and what might be a pitfall to most bakeries like this is a major compliment to what is being served. Seating inside is limited but that provides a nice intimate feel when you manage a seat- otherwise taking food to go is no hassle. Head down the street to Amazon Park and enjoy an impromptu picnic. The staff is all friendly and happy to help make a decision, which can help with such a broad selection. All in all, this may be my favorite cafe/bakery in Eugene
google avatar

Dianna K.

Yelp
I have recently moved to Eugene from New Orleans. I was sure here in Eugene I'd never find a true Boulangerie. Was I wrong. Noisette is fabulous! It has quickly become my favorite place here. The service is excellent , Kind , helpful staff. Beautiful space full of cut flowers , plants and the rock stars, pastries. Today I had a KOUIGN AMANN. I have had many from the top pastry chefs. I have had Dominique Ansel's kouign amann as my measuring stick to all others. Several have been excellent but never were as good as DA's. That is until this morning. WOW! I now have a new high bar! Noisette is the best! The winner! I'll never order from NYC again.

Glenda S.

Yelp
I was excited to try Noisette but the experience left some to be desired. I noticed flys buzzing around the food items and being ignored by staff. Easy fix with bug screens

Linda H.

Yelp
This place is amazing , the person behind the counter took time to explain the items that we had not had .The food is very good. Very happy with this place ,They have unique things to try

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast and this place did not disappoint. There's a variety of sweet and savory pastries and tarts!! Go go go!!

Yelp
I have been eating chef Michael Landsberg's food for 30 plus years, since he was an up and coming chef at some of San Francisco's finest restaurants and through his time at King Estate winery. He never disappoints. Every meal has been memorable. Among the best I've ever had. And now Michael and his wife Tobi have done something remarkable: combined their talents at the homey, accessible, and always top notch wonderful Noisette Pastry Kitchen. If I'm ever driving past Eugene I always stop at Noisette. I am never disappointed. Freshly baked sourdough wheat bread. Feta cheese in olive oil. Smoked trout potato salad. OMG - the lamb sandwich! The caprese sandwich. Macarons! Savory turnovers. Pies and tarts. Quinoa salad. Every. Single. Item. Absolutely delicious! Do yourself a favor and load up on goodies at Noisette Pastry Kitchen. You'll never be disappointed.

Vicki B.

Yelp
I love stopping here when I find myself on-foot in the downtown area. Not to say there's no parking! It's just the kind of place that catches your eye with all the amazing fresh goods in the case, stacked on the counter, and the openness of the kitchen is inviting...and as soon as you step through the doors you know you're going to leave with something for yourself, and likely a few things more. Today I ordered a coconut cake online for my wife's b-day and fully expect it to be one of the best cakes I've eaten.

Yelp
Nice French-style bakery in Eugene downtown, with a great selection of pastries. I tried the olive oil white wine tea cake and it was very good, with a very unique flavor that I hadn't experienced before. There is limited seating at the place, but I was lucky to get an outdoor table, where I enjoyed the cake with an iced latte,

Yelp
pastries are great! i got a butter croissant and it was so nice and flakey. only a handful of tables and a counter to sit at inside but it never felt too crowded.

Yelp
Best pastries I've found in Oregon so far. To be honest nothing in Portland I've tried so far compares. The kouign amann is absolutely killer. My mouth is still watering thinking about that crunchy sugar and flaky pastry. The cookies are awesome, I loved the molasses one. Super chewy, with a slight bitter molasses bite. The goat cheese biscuit was awesome, I was expecting it to be dry but it wasn't, and you can taste the tangy goat cheese. Mixed with the buttery biscuit, perfect combo. The baguettes are amazing also, perfect crunch and chew, with that rich complex doughy flavor. The prices here are amazing too. Cheaper than Portland, less hypy and wannabe hipstery, and not pretentious at all like some places I've found in Portland. Overall excellent bakery
google avatar

Edith A.

Yelp
This pastry place is worth a drive. The neighborhood looks dingy in the rain, but the seating area comes alive when the sun is out and the big front door is open.

S W.

Yelp
It's hard to get a good rustic bread in town and this place has the best sourdough! I wish they would expand on their bread collection and offer a full on rye bread (pumpernickel style) but I understand that's more for my European tastebuds and maybe not popular enough to make in a smaller town... They also have delicious pastries- flavorful and not to sweet! Two thumbs up :))
google avatar

Jordan P.

Yelp
I couldn't begin to explain how this ended up in Eugene with some of the finders laminated dough available and spectacular Kouign-Amann that has a cream cheese filling. Staggering execution and insanely affordable. If they made a canele I would be completely head over heels but even without it, this place is outrageous. Skip the cupcakes but don't skip anything made with laminated dough(croissant dough).

Yelp
We made a stop to Noisette Pastry before visiting the Saturday Market downtown. Ooohh it smells so good in there! The open kitchen is beautiful to see things being made, the pastry and baked goods display is packed with tasty flavors, and their are flower arrangements all over. It's a beautiful spot to visit. I got the sausage gruyere kale hand pie. They asked if I wanted it heated: YES! But unfortunately the way they heated it didn't get to the filling whatsoever. The pastry was hot, but the filling was fridge-temp cold. Still tasted good though. Also they didn't have soy milk, but they had almond, oat, and hemp for alternatives.

Yelp
Before the Pandemic, I would visit Noisette almost once a week. It was my favorite spot to grab a quick bite to eat before taking a Barre class. A central location to grab a coffee with girlfriends on the weekends. A relaxing setting to savor a coffee while I study or do some light reading. It didn't occur the me until the other day that it has been nearly 190 days since I have visited this cherished place. So, I made a special trip. You can no longer sit and enjoy their open lobby. All orders must be to-go. They've added stickers to their floor to indicate where guests should stand and installed additional sneeze guards for their protection. I ordered my favorite, their macarons. Just perfect little sweets. Joy in every bite. The ambiance of the local cafe is something I miss the most these days. Being able to sit in a warm environment and consume delicious drink and pastry prepared by caring hands. I hope it won't be too long before we can comfortably get that back.
