The Absolute Best Dishes We Ate at New Restaurants in 2023 | Bon Appétit

"Chef-driven Southern cooking yields a Goat Gnocchi that surprises with a bright, citrusy broth punctuated by seared gnocchi, tender braised goat, sliced chili, and mustard greens — the broth is invigorating and the greens add bracing bitterness, making it irresistible to spoon up every last drop." - ByBon Appétit Staff & Contributors

Great food! The alligator and duck were excellent! Bon appetit! They have a bar inside to order drinks. The vibe in this place was amazing. It was good that there wasn’t too many people inside considering that everything is close together. In addition, it’s a good restaurant to host family gathering or birthday dinners.

A kind waiter seated us without reservation. Atmosphere is nice. The platter was good. The snapper was very bad. No taste (no salt/pepper. No lemon. No herbs no nothing) and its belly was not cleaned. Served with rice mixed with ham? When you think a fish dish, you don’t want to see meat in that plate. They forgot to bring my drink . For $100, I’d expect a better service and great quality food.

We had such a great experience at Nolias! We went for the NYE tasting menu, the food was amazing. The service was BEYOND!!!! All of the staff was amazing and a special shout out to Armando for being so attentive. The whole vibe in Nolias is wonderful, from the art work to the plants all around. There was an amazing DJ playing both acoustic guitar and singing as well as mixing music. All around, such an amazing night.

This review is a bit delayed, and I went back and forth about posting it or not. I decided to have my birthday dinner here with 6 of my friends to celebrate after receiving rave reviews from another friend. I made a reservation in advance and I arrived first and was sat very quickly. All of my friends arrived after me. After I was sat I was not greeted by a server for about 10 min. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy. When I was finally greeting by a server, I asked about wine selection and inquired if they had any Portuguese wines. I received a very not well hidden eye roll and a no. After that, no one approached my table until about 30 minutes after I arrived. At this point, everyone in the party had arrived. The same server approached the table and asked to take our drink order. He seemed a bit impatient with us and was a bit rude even though we were polite and courteous. We also ordered a charcuterie board for the table to share while we decided on what to order for dinner. The drinks and board arrive and the board was extremely underwhelming. I used to work for a charcuterie company and I was a bit shocked at the quality vs price. There were peanuts on it, very little meat and cheese and hardly any fruit. I have never seen a charcuterie board prepared with peanuts, which is literally the cheapest "nut" there is. We are all ready to place our dinner orders and no one checks on us or takes our dinner orders for about an hour after we are all sat down. We literally felt ignored. Another server finally approached us to take our dinner orders and said that he would be taking over for the other server because he had "been here all day and needed to go home." Thinking that maybe this server had a better demeanor, I confided in him that we were there to celebrate my birthday and we were having a pretty bad experience so far. Instead of empathizing, he gaslights me and says "Okay. Do you want me to get a car full of clowns and balloons and have them sing to you?!" I am not sure if he was attempting to be humorous, but read the room my guy. Everyone's jaw dropped at the table at his response. I wish I could say the experience with this server improved, but it just continued to get worse. To the point where I had to ask my friends if I was going crazy regarding how we were being treated. When I went to use the restroom I even heard him talking bad about us in the back of the house to his coworkers. We also suspect that he had been drinking on the job as well. There were many more issues, but this review is already pretty lengthy. It was, hands down, the WORST dining experience I have ever had, let alone on my birthday. I don't expect a red carpet or preferential treatment just because it'smy birthday, but some decent customer service and kindness would have gone a long way. I used to be a server, so I understand that things happen sometimes. There was zero excuse for this behavior. Additionally, the food overall was okay, but nothing mind blowing and it was definitely way overpriced for what we got. I don't remember everything but only one dish stood out that was really good, which is the one that's pictured. The ONLY saving grace was the kindness shown to us by Kali at the end of the night, who I think is an assistant manager. She was absolutely wonderful, apologized profusely after we told her about all the issues we encountered and gave our table a discount (I don't know how much because my friends wouldn't let me pay for anything). Bottom line, I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back. If I wanted to be treated so terribly, I would call my ex and I wouldn't have to pay for it.

Google
Such a fantastic experience with great food, I will definitely be coming back!! The house manager greeted us at the door and checked in on us several times. My spouse and I were celebrating my birthday, and the staff left a very thoughtful birthday card on our table with all of the staff's signatures! ❤️❤️ Such a touching thoughtful gesture!! All the food was DELICIOUS!!! My favorite was definitely the blackberry flatbread, they for sure sent out the best for last. The gumbo (jambalaya? I forget which one) was seasoned and spiced so perfectly, and I've never had a crab cake this good in Denver before. Highly recommend, definitely get a reservation.

Google
From the description of this place on their website I thought it looked interesting and different from the usual suburban restaurant fair. I was very pleasantly surprised that it far exceeded my expectations! The food is exceptional! We tried several of the dishes. The crabcakes are moist, tender and actually taste like crab! The shrimp and grits is delightful and the Châteaubriand is absolutely amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home! Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming!Prices are very reasonable for what you get in today's dining world, especially since you won't find many places this good at any price!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Certainly not what I expected in a strip mall in the suburbs but believe me, it is well worth the visit!

Google
I am grateful that we decided to come out to try Nolia. We will be back again! The restaurant is a little smaller than I expected, but had some great seating outside. The staff were friendly and everyone had great things to say about the food. We started with blackberry flatbread, it was excellent, sweet and had great flavor 10/10. We also had the gumbo, which was good 7.5/10, also flavorful. We had both the Caesar 9/10 and pear salad 8.5/10. I really thought the dressing on the pear salad was wonderful. For side dishes we had the green chile cornbread, with really great cream cheese 8/10, it was a little dry but had great flavor. The carrots were another winner, paired well with the goat cheese 10/10. For the entrees my partner had the short rib bolognese 7.5/10 and I had the crab stuffed rainbow trout special 8.5/10. For dessert we had both the cannolis 8/10 and the winter spiced carrot cake 9/10. The carrot cake was a better dessert and we loved the cream cheese that was on it. If there was any drawback it was that the cake felt a little dry but the topping helped with that. All in all it was a great meal. We are very happy with our choice to come here. Our meal took a long time, we were there over 2 hours. The place was empty when we arrived but got filled up as the evening moved on. It took a long time for our entrees close to 45 minutes, but I am not going to hold that against them. The service was friendly but they could have come over a little more frequently. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Celebrated my besties 40th here last night. Everything was divine. Lindsey and Lou were on top of everything. You can tell that they truly wanted us to have a great time. I wish I took more photos. Everything we ate was immaculate.

Yelp
Food was amazing, staff were so sweet and kind, amazing ambiance and atmosphere, will be back!!

Yelp
Welcome bubbles! Need I say more? The owners father is an artist and his art is displayed throughout which I found very exciting. The service is wonderful, the food is to die for and they have a cute little patio to top it off! Tons of parking and prime location.

Yelp
Well went to Nolias on a random Wednesday afternoon at about 3pm. Called to ensure they were open to public as lots of our closer spots near work were closed for private Xmas parties. My coworker recommended Nolias for drinks and tapas. Well they were super sweet & attentive but the wine options and tapas that are GF were limited. I had taken some pictures but possibly deleted - so my apologies. My first time here so perhaps just an off day. We ordered from the happy hour menu & real menu as well.

Yelp
Each year for our anniversary, we like to try a new spot in town. With this one being close to home and newish to the neighborhood, we made reservations (via text as the website suggested, but opentable is where it's at) and happily made our way over. SPACE: Super cute patio, cozy interior and adjacent rooms that are filled with local artwork - offering a variety of seating options, plush furniture and open bar. Decor is interesting - a twist of southern charm meets local artist, meets New Orleans. We had requested an indoor seat, so our cutie little table was butted up against a window overlooking the patio and we felt right at home. SERVICE: Very pleasant, welcoming and so sweet! There was a little misunderstanding with our reservation (I said the wrong name for the reservation, to which they didn't recognize, which makes sense) so the original seat we wanted, was booked. We later ironed out that we had reservations and that's when we were brought to the cutest spot - mentioned above. We were greeted with NA bubbly, provided a rundown of the menu, highlighted their summer menu and mentioned 2 mocktails we'd like! So nice! Every interaction was nice! SPECIALS: Everyone mentions the Happy Hour here - which looks bomb! There are a few specials offered each week - the menu literally changes weekly - so that's fun! SUSTENANCE: While the appetizers looked very good, we opted for individual entrees! This spot is known for its' family style/tapa's vibe, which I totally get! The menu features a ton of options similar to that, but we opted for other. I went with the Summer Lemon Pea Rivoli - featuring a pea puree, fresh lump shrimp and crispy shallots. YUM! The house made pasta was light, refreshing and so good! Ben opted for the chicken and dumplings - which ended up being more like the inside of a pot pie - which he's absolutely obsessed with - so he was one happy camper! The price tag is a little steep here, but the quality is great and it's perfect for a special dinner!

Yelp
We were exploring the Centennial area and dinner time was at hand...we were in the mood for wine and Yelp helped us find Nolia which was gem! First off we were offered a complimentary pour of bubbly...who doesn't like that! Large menu featuring a number of different dishes and styles. My wife loves charcuterie boards so we went with the mini board. We added on an order of the seared mahi tacos, bacon green chili cornbread, finishing off with an assortment of toffees. Of course we had to do a wine flight, red for me and white for the wife. The mini board was the perfect size for and the tacos were very good. The Cornbread served nice and warm with the cheese and jam were perfect with our wines. The toffees were a nice end, not too heavy, just enough to end it with a sweet treat. Loved the space with both indoor and outdoor seating, the food was amazing, the staff were fun, and service was perfect. We discovered they also offer periodic wine events that we'll need to check out in the future!

Yelp
What a wonderful place! Had a tremendous meal tonight with exceptional service, delightful food and a warm atmosphere.

Yelp
Okay so you have to watch for emails to see all the seasonal specials. the star of all of our visits are the charcuterie options. They have an unlimited amount of charcuterie and we love the chefs special when we go. I will say the boiled crawfish during crawfish season was not worth getting. There was no seasoning so I'd try somewhere else or just be prepared to season when you get home and peel them. Outside of the crawfish, everything has always been fabulous. Just ask your server what they think is best special for that day and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Tonight we had an incredible meal. The service was a little glitchy but the food was worth it. The owner was very sweet and receptive to some mild feedback. We will definitely go back!

Yelp
Overall enjoyed our first visit to noila with another couples for Sunday lunch do my husbands bday. Cocktails and mocktails were on point. Innovative and delicious. The chicken and dumplings and duck were the winners at our table, absolutely delicious and a good portion. The crab cakes, the mushrooms & burrata were all very good as well but the devil on horseback's were "okay but the Chevre didn't pair well w the flavor profile". Service was okay-ish - slow when not busy. The server was working the lunch shift for the first time so she didn't have much to say on the menu. We will likely return for dinner to give it another shot! Food was def worth it!

Yelp
Nolia's had excellent Yelp reviews, and we wanted to dine outside, so our party of four decided to give it a try. We arrived in time for Happy Hour, and ordered some wine and mocktails off the Happy Hour menu. We also ordered seven small plates from their dinner menu, though there were many more we wanted to try. We selected: * Happy Hour Cocktail $12.00 * Line 39 Cab × 2 $18.00 ($9.00 ea.) * Line 39 Cab $12.00 * Rose Blueberry Smash Cocktail $9.00 * Beef Chateaubriand $32.00 * Duck Confit $24.00: house made duck confit wine poached grapes, creamy grits, apple salad, berry pasilla jam, toast points * Mushrooms $17.00 Pear & Brie $17.00: honey, poached pears, danish brie, walnuts, in skillet puff pastry * Arugula Pear Salad: $14.00 * Crawfish Etouffee: $9.00 * Devils on Horseback $10.00: dates stuffed with goat cheese wrapped in speck, served with blueberry jam and arugula My favorite was the Beef Chateaubriand, cooked medium rare as ordered. My co-diners favorites were the Arugula Pear Salad and the Crawfish Etouffee. I sampled every dish and would reorder all of them. Service was excellent throughout the dinner. We would be delighted to return.

Yelp
We brought a party of 8 here for a business dinner and OMG, what an amazing time everyone had. Brie was our server and did a great job of keeping up with what was a pretty boisterous table of people who were all just having a blast. The food here is simply amazing. Starting with the Reserve board, our table had Caesar and pear salads, étouffée , gumbo, lamb, duck confit, seared cod, tortilini, stuffed yukon potaoes, aspargus - and OMG the desserts. Table-wide agreement that the carrot cake was the best ever, Butterscotch pot o' creme, cheesecake canoli, etc etc etc. Everyone in our group was just blown away by how great everything was - not a single issue, not a single dish that was considered "meh" - and yeah, great service. Can't wait to go back - and i heard the same sentiment from everyone in the group. Wow - spectacular job Nolia!

Yelp
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! What a fantastic dinner! Thank you to my friend who recommended this. The place is small, classy, romantic, and with a beautiful outdoor patio seating. We came hungry and finished 95 percent of all that we ordered and shared. We each got a glass of wine. It's a must with the extensive wine list they have. I had the Della Torre and it is so smooth and dangerous! Geezes, thank goodness I had control of myself because I could've easily had a bottle to myself! Lol Where to begin, my goodness gracious, the appetizers were all just phenomenal. Pardon our appetite here, but we ordered a lot to share. Lol Appetizers, we got the burrata, the poached pear & brie en croute, stuffed gypsy pepper (I'm so mad, I forgot to get a picture of this one!), and the chef's choice board (middle). The appetizers all tasted so darn delicious, distinct, and savory. You cannot go wrong with any one of these appetizers. We also ordered two entrees to try. The house duck confit and the lobster ravioli. Both dishes were savory. The duck was so tender and very flavorful and paired well with the cauliflower and beet puree. I'm not a big duck person, but I'd eat this again. The lobster ravioli was enjoyable too. The sauce light and the home made ravioli cooked perfect. Lastly, my friend said we might as well go all the way, and we ordered the lemon curd tart for dessert. This dessert was definitely tart and a bit too tart for me. Lol. I do like tart, but I couldn't eat as much as I wanted too. I had about 4 good bites of it. Definitely nice creamy, tart, and sweet taste. Very refreshing and a great palette cleanser. The dessert was the 5 percent we couldn't finish. As you can see from all my pictures, all the entrees were beautifully crafted and presented well. This place depicts what fine dining should look like and taste like. I am forever a fan here. I'm really looking forward to coming back to try more things from here! This is a great place for social and leisurely dining and sharing, a great date venue, and just for the great food. This place is definitely my kinda style. Thanks to my servers Lindsey and Ainslee! The staff and service was fantastic. I'd give it a 6 stars if allowed.

Ben P.

Yelp
Went on a lark and was totally enthralled by food and waiter. Louisiana style gumbo and etoufee was good , chicken and dumplings were good. Definitely worth a shot if you are in the area.

Yelp
We would be back! We went with friends and the food was amazing. The bread pudding, the flavors, the tapas!! Oh my! I would highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Sit at the bar with Grant. He makes the best smoky old-fashioned. Had the Châteaubriand Oscar and a pasta special. Try the jalapeño bread. The food and the service were amazing. We will be back.

Yelp
This is a lovely bistro/wine bar, glad to have one in the neighborhood. Great wine selection. An awesome menu of unique foods European and New Orleans food. Great service every time I have been. Also, love the intimate atmosphere and ambiance. I hope this place stays around. Come check it out. As an example of their menu, check out this 5 course new years menu.

Jeffery M.

Yelp
Heard this was a great spot with Cajun tapas and great charcuterie boards so had to try for myself. Loved the small European type cafe decor and the menu had a great variety for charcuterie options and other options. Food was good but Service was very poor which made the experience a bit on the mediocre side. Disappointed in the chicken and dumplings , which came with two biscuits as the dumplings? I'm from the south and never heard cooked biscuits as the dumplings. The crabs cakes were fresh and had great taste with a fantastic cream sauce, drinks were also very good . I will be go back to try other menu options

K G.

Yelp
Service was not good. Had to ask for water, the table to be cleaned and cleared. She seemed to be inconvenienced serving our table.

Yelp
Great service. Great menu. Great vibe. Thanks. I can't post until I reach 85 characters. Whatever.

Yelp
Dined at Nolia with my family yesterday on the patio despite the chilly evening. They even brought us blankets! A tall gentleman got us started with complimentary sparkling wine and cocktails and then our server Lindsay gave great wine recommendations and ideas for dishes. The food was delicious and the service made my family wish we lived closer. Thank you Nolia!

Larry E.

Yelp
Great service and excellent quality food. YUMMY. Went with friends and everyone had a great fun time.

Yelp
I was so thrilled when I found out about this place. I was even more excited to try it. The owners are from Louisiana, and I was craving some southern cuisine! Upon entering we were greeted with a cava toast, which was light and refreshing. My friend and I decided to split a charcuterie board. They had so many choices, and you can even build your own. It was exquisite! For the main course, I got duck confit, and she got beef carpaccio. My duck confit was one of the best duck entrees I have ever had. I was so impressed! The sweet potatoes & asparagus paired so well with the dish. The ambiance was very subtle & pleasing to the senses. I was very surprised. Our service was impeccable. We were waited on, hand and foot! Def give this restaurant a try.

Yelp
I had a friend visiting from out of town and had always wanted to try Nolia. We sat outside because the weather was nice and ordered several plates to share as well as a bottle of wine. We ordered two items from their specials menu- a tagliatelle pasta in creamy sauce and scallops with risotto. Both were good but I liked the scallops better. Both sauces were rich and cream and I'm glad we shared. We also had the ceviche which was okay, the chorizo potatoes which were good, and the seasonal burrata which was probably my favorite. It was a very quaint restaurant, although the inside was a little too dark. Overall the food was good but maybe a little too rich. Tons of wine options though and I think I would go back again and try other dishes!
google avatar

Yvonne L.

Yelp
Amazing experience and delicious food at Nolia!!! The wine pairing experience was lovely -- dinner was a balanced mix of veggies, seafood, and meat, and the wine chosen paired excellently with each dish. Fantastic experience with great company! Excited to return and try the a la carte menu as well.
google avatar

Luna N.

Yelp
Great service! Everything we ordered was delicious, they start is off with some welcome bubbles which make a great impression. When I ordered a drink I didn't like, they noticed and comped drink which I hardly touched. The service and attentiveness: 5/5.
google avatar

Pauline D.

Yelp
My favorite place for family style dinning or brunch, food it's really outstanding, the wine selection it's huge and they offer you different sizes so you can have a much or as little as you want, very extensive by the glass, way much more expensive selection by the bottle. The specials are just amazing, if you find something that you want to try there's not time to waste because they have new stuff every week. Service it's the best, Adrian was mostly helping me and I have to say he has an amazing personality and smile, the staff it's super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable I had a great time. I can't wait to come back. LOVE IT! This is my go to for any type of occasions.

Yelp
Very quaint friendly and warm restaurant with great food. Very attentive service. Everything we had was scrumptious including the mussels, cauliflower, charcuterie, duck confit and sea bass. Wine list and drink menu were superb. Please note this is a tapas bar and all the dishes are small. Don't venture here with a big appetite. Come for the ambiance and food quality. We spent almost 200.00 with drinks and tip and left still hungry.

Barbara P.

Yelp
What a fabulous find! We went here for my birthday last week. The food was amazing, the ambiance was wonderful and the service was excellent! We will definitely be going here on a regular basis!

Yelp
This is why I love to dine at independently owned restaurants. I visited Nolia (short for Magnolia, the state flower of Louisiana and home of the owner) on a Monday night and it was the level of excellence you would expect on a Friday or Saturday. Craft cocktails, charcuterie boards, tapas, and full plates available. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food was excellent; so good I decided to dive in and forgot to take pictures. Authentic NOLA cuisine. I was solo but this place would be a great place for a romantic date night. I had the gumbo, red beans & rice, and the shrimp & grits. Everything was delicious.

Ryan W.

Yelp
They were out of most of the specials, the service was slow despite having lots of staff, the steak was majorly undercooked, and they were loudly sorting silverware directly next to our table, which didn't exactly set the right ambiance.
google avatar

Miss P.

Yelp
It is a quaint little place, the decor was warm and cozy. Nice place to have an intimate dinner for a small group or as a couple. Not that they cannot sit several people, I just enjoyed the intimate setting. Service was pleasant as well and the food was yummy.
google avatar

Dani E.

Yelp
Flavorful, Unique dishes but a bit pricey. It's a cute space and I enjoyed the menu items we ordered.

Yelp
Gumbo was mid duck sucked and horrid service. Was too dark, couldn't see food or how much the was in my check

Yelp
Was here for the 1st time during Restaurant Week. Had Crawfish Etoufee (bland), Short Rib Bolognese (meat very scarce) and Duck Confit (soggy skin, again bland even after I sent it back). Service was very spotty even though plenty of employees standing around. And a pet peeve of mine, they bring your next dish when you haven't even eaten half of the current dish...like they are trying to push you out the door! I love Cajun and Creole food, but this experience will not be cause for a return visit.

Yelp
We dropped in here during happy hour while I our daughter was at a party. We sat at the bar and the bartender started us with just a splash of complimentary bubbly which was nice. They had a red wine on HH for $9/glass so that is what we had. The appetizers on the HH menu sounded pretty good. We went with the trout for $10 and it was pretty disappointing. It tasted fine, but for $10, I'd expect more than a tiny piece of trout on a store-bought cracker. We opted to forego any other HH offerings and turned to the regular menu instead. I'm glad we did! We had the Steak au Poivre which was absolutely to die for! The meat was super tender and the sauce- oh the sauce- so glorious. Our next (and final) choice was for the gnocchi. This again was divine. Nolia can really knock out a cream sauce. I wished for more mushrooms but honestly, it was delicious. I think Nolia has some tasty bites, but it is a bit spendy. The HH wine was the only reasonable offering so going off HH would set you back a lot more. It's definitely a welcomed addition to the neighborhood though. We will probably return at some point to try other things on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
We've been to this establishment multiple times and the small plates are enticing while the meals are the right size, not too small, but not too big. The chef takes great pride and what they do and the wine bar itself keeps the selection on hand that is very user-friendly. They always start you off with a small glass of Prosecco Set the right ambience. I definitely recommend this place every time if you're looking for a quick stop to grab a bite, a drink, and run into new and old friends.

Yelp
Classy atmosphere, great service, quality food. Intimate romantic setting. Very quaint
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
New name still amazing. I had the build your own charcuterie board as usual, and I added a bowl of gumbo which was so delicious. I cannot recommend these things enough. Service 10/10 as usual too, and it is beautiful in here. There are plants and a nice, somewhat artsy crowd
google avatar

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place. Amazing Owner that reflects on the entire experience. The staff are attentive and hopefully enjoy being there as much as they project! Menu is authentic and vast. I think I have only eaten off of the regular menu once in 7 visits because their specials are so appealing! One of the top 10 restaurants in Denver and its suburbs.

Kay B.

Yelp
Great, great, great! Lovely setting, food came soon and tasted original and very good. Servers were polite and nice. Notice art by Father in next door room. 5 stars of 5

My husband and I came back with my 2 adult children + their two significant others and my 12 year old for my birthday dinner (party of 7). I have noticed that previous reviews mentioned issues with sluggish service and pricey food and while I will acknowledge that food service feels a little slow and portions are definitely smaller compared to a chain restaurant, you are paying for more than just a meal here, you're getting an experience. Do not expect to walk in, order, and rush out in 30 minutes. The care and the skill that goes into creating this type of food takes time and dinner probably will last more than an hour. Do not plan on going home with a doggie bag. But the menu is structured in such a way that you can easily order more if you are still hungry and it shouldn't break the bank. Most of the plates are around $15.00. For this evenings meal, our group quickly decided to do tapas style so that we could try whatever piqued anyone's interest and not only did service feel much smoother because food was regularly being brought/delivered to our table, but I also got to try every last thing I wanted to try on the menu. Dinner felt perfectly paced for our group and we had an absolutely wonderful time chatting around the table and sharing plates, with each of us taking a turn to pounce on the last bite of our newly identified "favorite dish". And then the next dish would come out and someone would undoubtably decide, "Nope, nope, I was wrong before, THAT was my favorite dish!" Food was brought out as it was prepared with our table eagerly grabbing each plate and delighting in the succulent, delicious, flawlessly executed morsels. New/additional dishes we tried were the crawfish etoufee, red beans and rice, gumbo, and tender beef and mushrooms. I don't know what else to say about this restaurant, except that by the end of our meal my adult son was remarking "OMG, what?! WHAT? You have got to be KIDDING ME." after each bite. Our evening ended with my son remarking to me "Mom, I hate to say this to you, but I think their crawfish etoufee might be better than yours." My 12 year old then sheepishly admitted the red beans and rice were definitely better than mine. And even though we were there to celebrate my birthday, I wasn't even mad about it because yes. Yes her crawfish etoufee and red beans ARE better than mine. Go try it. I could cry I am so delighted to have found this restaurant.

Yelp
A unique dining experience with anything you could possibly imagine. The fun is choosing from the small plate selections, but there are also interesting individual choices. Service is fantastic.

Yelp
This place is really special. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy brunch, lunch, charcuterie and even a Spring seven course tasting dinner. Paired with the most delicious Copper Cane wines, it was a truly remarkable experience. I highly recommend this place - I would literally eat anything Lili offered without question. My only issue is looking for reasons (and money) to come back again and again.

Yelp
Fantastic dinner at Nolia! My wife and I were in the mood to try something new last night and came across Nolia. Although there were so many options, the wait staff was very helpful in providing some recommendations. Joe was especially amazing and even gave us a complimentary wine sampling upon our arrival. We tried a little bit of everything but the potatoes, duck confit and Mahi Mahi tacos were outstanding. We finished off the meal with their Creme Brûlée which capped off a perfect meal. We told Joe that we will be back again to try some other items on our next visit since the options were too many to try in one visit. One of the best meals we've had in a long time so definitely recommend this establishment for a delicious and tasty meal.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Very relaxed vibe, great drinks and wonderful food. How can you say no to Happy Hour every single day? Excellent small plates, a wealth of cajun dishes with inspired flavors and a great service staff round out a wonderful experience. I highly recommend sitting at the bar to enjoy the humor and poise of the front of house staff. Or if you want a more intimate setting, the 2nd dining room showcases a fascinating collection of paintings. Recommendations from our evening included, but were not limited to, the crab cakes, mussels, and etouffee. As well, we all very much enjoyed our bottle of Quilt as well as a few of the house-created cocktails. BTW, they have a vast wine selection. Can't wait to go back and have another charcuterie board.
