This hip Chinese spot close to Williamsburg Bridge serves up a casual vibe with a tempting array of dim sum, fresh teas, and inviting pastries.
"In addition to their menu of dim sum available for pick-up and delivery, Nom Wah Nolita is also selling 1.5 pounds of frozen dumplings of all kinds as well as dumpling t-shirts online. You can find more information on their website here." - hannah albertine
"Place an order for some dim sum and sloppy joe noodles, and add a 1.5-pound bag of frozen siu mai or dumplings to your order so you have more things to eat when you wake up at midnight (because you went to bed out of boredom at 7pm). Check out their menu and place your order here." - hannah albertine, bryan kim
"Only the northern Delancey branch of this Chinatown classic (in fact, it’s the oldest Chinese restaurant in the city, founded 100 years ago) is currently open, but there are plans to reopen the Doyers Street original. Expect some of the city’s best dim sum, now offered in frozen form, which is not a bad thing where dumplings are concerned. Shrimp rice roll, Shanghai soup dumplings, and rice cake are favorites. Order online." - Robert Sietsema, Eater Staff

"This Chinatown landmark used to have a location in Essex Market, and their outpost at Chelsea's Market 57 has more or less the same menu: a selection of Nom Wah’s classic dim sum, bao, and noodle bowls. If you come here during lunch on a weekday, you’ll see dozens of people scattered around the food hall hunkered over bowls of char siu-topped egg noodles. If we worked in the neighborhood, we’d count ourselves among them. You can’t really go wrong with anything here, but you also shouldn’t go out of your way for it. " - Carina Finn
