Yelp
I've had Nomad's bookmarked on Yelp for the longest time. I'm happy to say I'm finally able to check it off of my list of places to try out. Overall, I'd say I had a good experience but beware of the steep prices and other minor inconveniences (hence the reason why I knocked off a star). Read on for more details....
I really fell in love with the atmosphere. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is super cute and quaint. I loved the cute lights and gorgeous purple wisteria flowers that covered the garden area. Thankfully, they have a few heat lamps which are perfect for chilly nights. Nomad's is pretty small so keep in mind seating is limited. This place does get relatively crowded.
There is a parking lot located in the back on the restaurant so don't worry about having to find street parking.
Service was great. From the hostess to our waitress, everyone was nice and attentive. Our food and drinks were brought out promptly.
The menu is fairly large. They offer pizzas, salads, and even dessert pizzas. They also have gluten free options. I was happy to hear that they sell wine by the bottle ($12 half bottle/$19 full bottle).
I tried the Arugula con Prosciutto (arugula pizza topped with prosciutto) and Filetti (imported mozzarella di bufala, basil, cherry tomatoes, organic garlic, organic olive oil, organic parmesan, sea salt, and black pepper topped with prosciutto. Both were good... I had a hard time deciding which I liked better. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. I was with two other individuals and found that two pizzas sufficed for the three of us. But, it is important to note that none of us left feeling very full. I definitely could have eaten more.
We were given a few pieces of dark chocolate with our bill. A very cute touch, I must say. Be aware that 20% gratuity is included in your bill. I personally liked this since it meant me not having to do any math!
I did come across the following inconveniences. First, they do not take reservations. Second, they are cash/check only. Third, they do not offer whole wheat pizza (sidenote: I believe the Princeton location does offer this option). Last, prices are fairly pricey considering portion size. $19 for a small pizza definitely had me feelin' some type of way (it WAS good though!).
Pro tip: come on a Tuesday for buy one get one free pizzas! This does not include dessert or to-go pizza.
