I ordered delivery, the order was prepared in a very reasonable amount of time. The ingredients are fresh and fairly plentiful. I ordered two different half banh mi’s- Demi jabon beurre & the VFC (Vietnamese fried chicken). I enjoyed the Jabon beurre the most- packed with different types of meat including pork floss which I’ve never tried before, there’s also something inside that gave it a kinda sweet and kinda cheesy taste which was nice. There’s some sort of pâté on this sandwich too. I found some of the meats to have too much fat on them so I removed prior to eating, which took away quite a bit of the product. My first time trying Banh mi in Europe and I’ll definitely say it’s pretty authentic. There’s an option to add red chili which was nice.
The friend chicken banh mi was underwhelming. Don’t taste much of the fried chicken, it’s fairly unpronounced, especially between all the baguette bread. Can’t complain though! It was a great value for just 10/11 euros for both sandwiches. The baguette bread was tasty, fresh and crunchy. I’d definitely return, hopefully for a sit down meal next time.
