The 15 Best Restaurants At The Original Farmers Market At Third & Fairfax

"We love Nonna’s not just because of the delicious food, but because empanadas are the perfect thing to hold and nibble on while exploring the rest of the market. There are close to 30 different kinds in their hot case at any given time, so whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll probably find it. That said, standouts for us include the spicy salsa chicken verde, the aromatic veggie samosa, and the pork, ham, and mustard-filled Cuban." - brant cox

I love it because there's a lot of filling, but I'd also enjoy something with a thicker pastry. Would try it again if there's an interesting flavor

I tried it for the first time this past weekend and they were delicious. A bit expensive but they were good. They have many different flavors and taste. I am sure you will find one that you like. I highly recommend them. Will go back to try the other flavors.

Hands down, the best Empanadas I've ever had. I think these are Argentinian style. They have various kinds of fillings to choose from and no kidding, all of them are delicious!!! My favorites are Chicken & Mushroom, Guava, Carnitas, and Chicken with Bell Peppers and Green Olives. Every time I go to this Farmers Market. I have to get them. 100 out of 10....must try!!!!

I had their salsa verde chicken empanada combo. This was recommended by the store staff as I was looking for a spicy chicken empanada. While the empanada was great, it was not spicy enough to my liking. Options for a drink were limited. But still would recommend this place as a preferred option in the farmers market. The place is generally crowded compared to other outlets, I had to wait about 10 mins.

Wow. Some of the best empanadas I’ve had, packed full of flavor and meat. I had low expectations, because of its proximity to the large shopping mall. Places w a really convenient location, often don’t have to have good food. But, we ordered seven different flavors of empanadas-each one was great. Shrimp, Carne Asada, chicken jalapeño, and Nutella where my favorites. Is it possible to have 4 favorites? Highly recommend this place. I wonder if they do catering for large events seems like a great idea.

Those empanadas are so good! This was our first time going there because someone recommended it to us. We ordered six empanadas: Chicken Alfredo, 2 Shrimp, Beef, Pepperoni and Guava. We liked all of them. The empanadas were very soft and tasty. The Chicken Alfredo one was very good, the chicken was tasty and I liked that it wasn't dry. The Shrimp empanadas were full of shrimp with some tomato sauce that made it delicious. The pepperoni one was filled with pepperoni and I like that it had more pepperoni than cheese. Also, the pepperoni wasn't greasy. The beef empanada was very tasty and flavorful. The guava empanada had a lot of guava mixed with cream cheese. It tasted delicious but it had too much guava for my taste. I definitely recommend this place and would go back. There was a line but the service was pretty fast. 5/5

The best empanadas in Los Angeles are right here! They’re some of the most delicious I’ve tried. Located in the Farmer’s Market side of the Grove you’ll find them hidden away but ask staff for help. The place is a cute wooden craftsman style interior design. Lots of seating and comfortable spot to go with friends/fam.

Long queue but it was quick moving. We tried the cuban and salsa verde - both really good but i think the salsa verde was my favourite! Would love to come back and try other flavours - the guava one sounds interesting.
