Great service, great food and great experience! We had my baby shower at Verbena Kitchen and had the most amazing time. We loved that this restaurant provides a one-stop shop without the stress and hassle of hosting your own event. They took care of food, drinks, venue, plates, glassware and the best part is that their menu is customizable according to the season. They were super flexible with how I wanted things set up and with bringing my own flowers. Dallas, the GM, was so sweet and helpful. He provided great service and had such a good attitude! Great experience overall. Thank you Verbena Kitchen. I would definitely consider hosting another private event here.

A little pricey but an interesting, but strict menu. Your bacon & egg breakfast where eggs must be poached or cooked hard. No over easy or scrambled option. We had a salmon on toast, a nice ceviche appetizer & two deviled eggs, pressed coffee & save room for a glazed cinnamon roll w syrup & nuts.

The absolute best cinnamon rolls in town. The shrimp and grits were excellent, the service was excellent. We sat outside on the sidewalk seating, and had a wonderful time. Lots of indoor seating and limited outside seating. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

pleasantly surprised at the variety of brunch offerings. bottomless mimosas or bloody mary’s for $20. grits were deliciously cheesy and had a kick! giant avocado in the not avocado toast lol, the couscous was the best part. good but pricey burger. would go back for dinner.

This spot is fantastic! Came here for dinner and had the burger and some sangria and was very impressed. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is on point and all of the staff are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. So many items on the menu looked really good so I’ll definitely be coming back. The burger came with a refreshing arugula salad and you can ‘chef it up’ in which they put more sauce on the burg and man was it good. Plenty of shakas here, mahalo 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 ❤️❤️

Yum, their brunch menu looked amazing so I had to try it out. The Gucci mary with truffle was so tasty. It also comes with a deviled egg, so good. The cinnamon roll is a must try and the burrata toast with prosciutto was super good. I'll have to come back for dinner soon.

This place gets 5 stars! Whether you are in the neighborhood looking for a quick drink or bite to eat, heck why not both? Dinner or Brunch? Happy hour never disappoints with their house sangrias and $1 oysters. Love the local and sustainable menu by Chef Ronnie and the team! Shoutout again to Dallas and the wonderful staff that make us always feel welcomed! We love supporting small businesses and catching up with what’s next on the menu we can try. Cheers!

The Good It’s a very classy decor worthy of any high-end ranch house or east coast mansion kitchen. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The food is edible. The Bad The table water is tap - no complaints there - but doesn’t taste much filtered. If you’re expecting Brita/Pur quality, don’t. Ordered a French press coffee and a pineapple juice. I expected a full French press, like, shareable. Nope; I got one cup out of it. ONE. For $6?? Nope, nope, nope. As for the pineapple juice? Canned. I saw the can on the bar. At least that was only $3. About portions. I was very excited about the food after reading so many good reviews, until I saw our plates roll out. The breakfast sandwich. Yep, was a bun with an egg on it, a thick slice of tomato, a couple leaves of arugula, and about an ounce of ham, and it didn’t taste like much. To accompany it was a half a handful of arugula and one-half a cherry tomato. Yes, a single half-tomato. The basic breakfast was two poached eggs, an ounce (ok maybe 2 oz) of ham, some fruit, and toast. Now let me be specific about what was on the plate: there was ONE slice of toast cut in half, and the fruit consisted of 2 raspberries, 2 blackberries, and 4 blueberries. Seriously disappointing for $17. We were discussing where to go for second breakfast at this point. The Ugly Check. Your. Bill. When you were being seated, did they let you know there’d be a quiz at the end of your meal? Let me be be clear here: if you didn’t memorize the prices on the menu for the food items you ordered you may be taken for a ride here. Do you remember how much that pineapple juice was? Was it $4? Uh-oh… We’re you going by menu listed prices or there website when you ordered? Uh-oh… I don’t know what’s going on, but when the waiter says “Hey, good memory,” THAT IS NOT A COMPLIMENT. I’m sure after a few bottomless mimosas most people aren’t paying attention, which makes this so much worse. Seriously. Watch out. We will not be back.
