Cozy feeling place. Molly was a great waitress, pleasant and kind. Would recommend if passing by the area or live nearby.

Norcina's is my favorite restaurant in the area. Having spoken to the owners, I can tell how seriously they care about the quality of their food, the quality of the service and providing an excellent experience. The food is really top notch and it's easy to tell that they use all high quality ingredients in their dishes. The menu is awesome and when I read the specials, there's always something I want to try. It's a great family friendly spot. I bring my young kids and while they don't sit still, it's never an issue. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The other diners are friendly because it has that good neighborhood feel to it. They have a large bar with a great selection of liquor and beers on tap, with lots of TVs. It's a great spot for watching football or any other sports. Highly recommend!

The Brussel sprouts Caesar salad is delicious and never misses. It’s so good oh my God I love getting that every time I come here. Husband And I always get the Norcina punch amazing drink. Love this place always a great family get together place or even a date night.

Great service, great atmosphere, and even better good!! I don’t think people talk about the bread enough. It was a great start to our amazing meal. The vodka pizza is a must try, it was delicate yet delicious. My husband got the plain pizza pie and it was very cheesy and melted in your mouth. This is such a great spot for a date night. 10/10 recommend!!

Went there for dinner yesterday evening, was Thursday Night with my wife and another couple. It was suggested to try this place by a friend, I do shopping in stop and shop right next door but never knew this nice Italian restaurant opened. It was a good decision though. We ordered different salads, different main she’s and all was delicious and made differently from what you are used to see. My steak was soft and very tasty and really made exactly the was I asked for it to be. Even coffee and deserts was very good. Will surly go there again. Oh and very reasonable pricing and friendly staff

Stopped in for lunch. Abby was on top of everything from the moment we sat at the bar. Hands down the best bourbon selection I've seen at a bar in the tri state area. Settled on a sausage pizza, definitely the best I've had in New City in more years than I care to share. I'm sorry i haven't been here more often but i will be back for dinner at the bar. The food was absolutely incredible here. When we got there, there was almost no one in the dining room. While we were waiting for our food, the entire restaurant filled up with kids and their parents celebrating some kind of sports thing. It became incredibly loud and chaotic. Despite this, the lasagna was one of the best dishes I've ever had. It had short rib and prosciutto in it, and it was worth sitting through all of the noise.

This just may be THE BEST restaurant in Rockland County! Forget the shopping center location, the food shines here and that's all that should really matter. The octopus with Guanciale and cannelini beans is ridiculous! As is the short rib lasagna and the pizzas. Service was also flawless! Thanks for the free refills of soda! Prices are super reasonable and I actually consider everything here a steal given the insane quality. Hello Rocklanders, guess what, you are lucky to have a restaurant like this and it should be packed every night! I just wished people would appreciate this greatl nrestaurants like this! The ambiance is casual and family friendly and this place is a crowd pleaser.

We had an excellent lunch at Norcina. Our server was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were so good. The cheese is made in house and melts beautifully. The sauce on the side was really good. The only criticism is that the breading could've used with more seasoning. My husband had the diced tuna sashimi and avocado salad and said it was really good. I had the vodka pie and it was really good but I only wish the prosciutto bits were a little bigger and meatier. Would be back.

Pizza came hot, was cooked perfectly but was missing taste. A great family restaurant and the waitress was fantastic!

Norcina is a safe, solid 4-star experience, and that was a welcome thing on a Monday afternoon for lunch. My wife and I split the mozzarella sticks, which were portioned generously (6 sticks). They were made with homemade mozzarella and breaded with panko. They were fantastic. My only note is that the breading was not well seasoned and appeared to be plain panko. But I would order them again. I had the tuna avocado salad. The servings of tuna and avocado were just right, they did not skimp. The fried wontons were great. The soy sauce sprinkled on top was enough. The creamy wasabi dressing was drizzled on just right. I had hoped for more lettuce. But I would order this again, too. My wife had the personal (10") vodka sauce pizza, and I had a bite. The flavor was good, it had a little bite to it, which was nice as some vodka sauces can be a bit bland. The crust came off as a bit underdone, and I thought the center of the pie approached soggy, but it was not the end of the world. The service was pleasant and attentive without being obtrusive. The "hon" type comments from the server came off as genuine and in no way condescending, which can be hard to pull off. There was no pretense, snobbery, or chip-on-the-shoulder from the server, which is rare. We will be back!

This was our first time visiting Norcina and I am So disappointed it took us this long to visit this establishment. The ambiance from the moment you first enter is welcoming, making it easy to make yourself comfortable to enjoy your experience. Staff was attentive from the moment we entered until we left. As someone who is gluten free, gluten free pizza is always a hit or miss. This was definitely a hit! I ordered the Neopolitan pizza which was delicious and I had to stop myself from finishing the whole pie in one sitting. Perfect amount of cheese with a delicious and slightly sweet marinara sauce. My fiancé ordered the pepperoni pizza with an extra topping of meatballs. He enjoyed his pizza and well. We are very excited to add Norcina into our rotation of spots to explore in Rockland county.

Wonderful drinks, awesome food, superb service, and awesome ambience! I love the bar and menu. This place is casual yet classy with plenty of parking too. See you there soon!

Management was terrible even with reservations... they yelled at me. The restaurant had a very distinct odor as well... never going back...

I have been a good customer for delivery at Norcina 's for a while especially now recovering from hip surgery and going through stage 4 chemo . I just ordered a whole apple pie because I wanted to share with the people that helped me during this trying time and enjoy the holidays. What I got was a mound of mess, no slices just mess. The restaurant when I called dismissed it saying " nothing they could do" a coding to a manager. I am also a cancer advocate and speak up for others going through cancer and now I can't believe I am writing this for a place I spent $48.00 for literally a mess. Shame on you Norcina, I will never order from you again , especially now the holiday season.

Situation: I don't live in town and needed Used Norcina's catering menu for a lunch party; ordered about two weeks in advance and I picked it up at 12pm on a Saturday. The food was nice and hot when I picked it up and everything was a hit. All of it came to about $360. There were 7 adults, 4kids. Definitely had way too much food haha but everyone got to take a lot home. Food: literally everything was excellent. In the pictures you will find what was ordered. The pastas all were homemade; each tray was rich in flavor. The pickiest kids had two to three helpings of the rigatoni. And that's saying a lot! Service: when I was reviewing options, Norcina has someone monitoring their email and that alone helped me narrow in on the place. When I was ready to order, the person I worked with on the phone was really pleasant and sweet. The person that handed me the food was super nice.

We'll, I can add Norcina into the rotation for sure! Worth the trip from Nyack. Genuine, flavorful food! Pizza was amazing ! (Sorry for slices missing in the picture! Smelled so good we had to try it before leaving the lot!) Hidden in the back corner of the shopping center, but worth the effort!

Very nice bar in the front, good sized dining room in the back, owner was very friendly as well as the rest of the staff. Pasta was fresh and delicious and they had a special burrata pizza that I hope they keep on the menu!

I am so disappointed. My husband and I rarely order pizza and we were both really craving it. We ordered the CBR and the vodka/ prosciutto pie for pickup. The CBR was very dry and, quite honestly, hard to get down. The vodka pie had 10 tiny crumbles of prosciutto on it. Most of what you see in the photo is darker cheese, NOT prosciutto. I'm very upset because we normally love Norcina pizza. This is the first time we've gotten these particular pies and will definitely be the last. We will be sticking to pepperoni and the semolina white from now on.

A friend of a friend recommended Norcina to me so I decided to go for lunch. What a awesome modern place! My friend said their menu is like what you would find if you went to Italy. I ordered the penne vodka and it was pretty good! I didn't like the pancetta on it which made it really salty so next time I'll get it without. The waitress we had was amazing too!! We also met the owner when we went and he let us sample a new dessert he had, mini donuts which were SO good, super fresh and hot!!!

Horrible experience at Norcina will never go back there again. Manager was extremely rude and disrespectful after they gave our table away that we reserved and told us when we called ahead of time they would have the football game streaming on all TVs. The manager has no idea how to run a business and was very abusive. He told me to get the fxxx out since he obviously wasn't willing or able to rectify the situation. Update: Just as predicted Frank T took no responsibility for his actions and completely fabricated what happened. Sadly he is the bully and wants to say we are. Have never experienced anything like this before with a restaurant owner/manager. Our approach to life is very good, just hope yours gets better. Good luck.

Super cool place located at the end of a strip mall. It's like an upscale pizza place with a bar, great indoor space and delicious food. This is such a great place! If you are in the area this is a Must try! Great staff, very cool vibe with a somewhat Tuscan style mixed with contemporary fixtures and a nice modern feel. We had the chopped salad that was super filling and just delicious!! Two of us shared it along with a 6 slice pizza called Norcina. We opted for 1/2 meatball and 1/2 sausage. The sausage was hands down delicious!! The crust was absolutely perfect!! Not too thin nor too thick - yet crisped to perfection. Drinks weren't bad either. Can't wait to try this place again!

Homemade pasta -- need I say more? I will say more because Norcina is at the top of my list when I'm in Rockland County! I love this place because you can come for dinner or on a Saturday night at the bar and have two completely different but enjoyable experiences. Most importantly, the food is OUTSTANDING. I have too many favorite dishes to list. The menu is really spectacular! I'm pretty much always going for a pasta dish for dinner because I'm pretty sure the Norcina kitchen is where pasta was perfected, but the apps are also good and I love the charred Brussels sprout Caesar salad. Splitting some pizzas is a great idea for lunch (especially when outdoor seating is open!) but I think the pies are even better as a bite to share when you're hanging out at the bar. The staff, bartenders and owners have always been very friendly. I've noticed some private events being held in the back room - I've sat there a couple times for dinner and it's a nice space!

The pizza was AMAZING! We ordered the pepperoni and the buffalo chicken and they both disappeared pretty quickly. One confusing thing and I think it was an honest error- we ordered two caesar salads and the dressing on the side was just cups of mayo. Just straight up mayo. I think they meant to put the dressing and accidentally put the side of mayo. So we just set aside salads for another meal with a dressing we have here. But the pizzas are definitely worth the trip!

Yep.... They still got it!!! Covid precautions are in place. And their food is still awesome!

The pizza was amazing. The bartender was super friendly and he was very welcoming. The restaurant was bigger than I expected but still had a nice cozy feeling. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back.

The pizza was terrible. We ordered a Margherita pie. They gave us an eggplant pizza. We had to wait for the Margherita pie. We brought it home and it looked like a regular cheese pie. I called them. They told me they do not make Margherita pies anymore. It's just a cheese pizza. Why they didn't tell me that from the beginning is beyond me. Anyway, the pizza was overpriced and disgusting. I will never go there again. When I called them they just didn't seem to care. I think their customer service is terrible. I definitely would not recommend this place. We got one large pie and three meatballs a total of $36.00. We ended up throwing the pizza out. Not sure if the meatballs are any good everyone's afraid to try them.

The food is so tasty and the home made pasta is delicious. Our favorite app is the Philly sliders - the sauce and the grilled onions are amazing!

Food was great, place is extremely noisy when they get busy, but no real complaints. The Pizza was outstanding, service was ok.

My NY soul has been crying for a long time since I found out im gluten intolerant However, pizza Jesus has answered my prayers with the glute free pizza. Normally, gluten free pizza is like a sad quesadilla with maybe some cheese on it. I have tried to wash out anything I know about pizza. I was so pleasantly surprised with the pizza. It had a crisp bottom and a chewy inside. I also got the cheese platter with the homemade mazarella and my goodness I am in love and the sizes my God! I like their style they served huge chunks of cheese. My husband got the pasta special and was in awe .

The food is good but way too expensive for what you get. $28 for a very small piece of Lasagna, no bread no salad nothing!!!

Simple yet Modern delight in New City. Attentive Service & Great wine recommendation from Abby. My husband & I were looking for a new place to have an early dinner and we discovered Norcina within a spacious strip mall... making parking easy to find in Rockland. I recommend the arugula salad its big enough for two people as a starter. I enjoyed Salmon Trapanese; the fish with the underlying pesto flavor paired with the grilled eggplant and fregola was a delicious delight. Very filling! My husband is Italian and makes his own sauce from scratch and he thoroughly enjoyed the chicken parmigiana and especially the marinara sauce. Thank you Norcina for a very pleasant experience and great customer service. Make sure you try their fresh homemade pastas!

Wanted Italian tonight and a light beer, told Kevin I wanted a pasta and a meat he suggested Rigatoni Ragu and it was spot on, perfect portion and tons of meat. Engaging staff, clean and great music . Whoop! Found a new " Go to" when visiting.

Excellent brick oven margarita pizza we loved it and we got a Caesar salad and that was fantastic. Also, we got both items to go place was very busy and very noisy.

My friends and I have been coming to Norcinas for years! We're locals and can always count on good food and drinks. The reasoning for the 4 stars would be the inconsistency of the food. My husband loved the fried chicken sandwich. He's probably ordered it about 5-6 different times. The first 2 times, it was amazing. The last few, he couldn't even finish it but didn't want to complain. We do love the pizza and pastas! I'm also obsessed with their charred Brussel Cesar salad!

My whole family loves getting takeout from here. Best salads and pizzas and sandwiches. Their gluten free pizza is amazing.

I have returned to Norcina twice since having a delicious meal here. I returned for a second time and was a bit surprised how unsatisfactory the food was. My first time here was so good, that when my second experience was so bad, i thought it had to be the staff was having a bad day. So I tired again, and it was another bad experience. What happened??

Fantastic pizza rivals NYC places and is my go to when I am in New City! I normally order a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza and I love the generous covering of mozzarella to compliment the plentiful toppings

I love love love this spot. I go here for date night and the burrata is the best burrata I've ever had. I go here every time I crave it! I travel an hour or so just for this place!

This sicilian special is outstanding. We ordered with sausage. The crust is buttery and delicious along with the fresh mozzarella top! This MUST be added to regular menu. Sooooo Good!!! A must try!!!!!

I've been here several times and while beer selection and food is good my review is about my overall experience. When I walked in nobody greeted me which is unacceptable in my opinion. Then I sat a at the bar for at least 5-7 mins before anyone even looked at me - even more unacceptable. I would have walked right out at that point but I was meeting a friend so I stayed. The bartender finally came over to me and she asked what she can get me. I said can I see the menu? Then she tossed food and wine menus in my direction and ran away. Then I raised my hand to get her attention and asked if I could see a beer list since the craft beer was the main reason I chose this place. Seemingly annoyed she gave me the beer list. Ownership needs to train the staff a bit on customer service.

Great neighborhood restaurant that serves homemade pasta and wood fire pizza. I loved the eggplant pizza which had chili oil on it. Service is good too! Kid friendly restaurant.

A Wonderful and creative Chef, Eric has transformed Norcina into a Restaurant that can cater to every member of the Family! Children have access to a great menu created with their tastes in mind and Italian Food Traditionalists have a menu they will feel comfortable with as well. Additionally, Chef Eric has expanded the definition of great Mediterranean dishes with a fresh and innovative take on Pasta dishes, Pizza toppings, and new Twists on Traditional menu items as well! Point is ALL ARE DELICIOUS! The Staff is Friendly and informative and genuinely seem to take an interest in the Restaurant menu themselves! I believe they are encouraged to try the dishes so they are able to best advise patrons regarding the wonderful choices they have at NORCINA!

Pizza is great and wanted to try a few dishes to go. 2 dishes I was really unhappy with; calamari and Cesar salad. An order of fried calamari is the same price as you would find fried calamari at any other restaurant but of lesser quality and in smaller portion size. If I'm paying for quality I wouldn't care about the portion size but the breading was falling off and the aioli or whatever kind of marinara sauce that's comes with it was basically ketchup. The Cesar salad dressing was basically mayo. I did appreciate how small they cut up the chicken and they were generous with the Parmesan cheese, but seems like they were trying to compensate for giving mayo instead of actual Cesar dressing. I'm giving 2 stars bc the pizza is good and their staff is friendly and it's not their fault the food is disappointing.

I ordered salmon trapanese aka salmon with pasta. The on the menu it said the dish was available gluten free. When the dish arrived it came out with just a small piece of a salmon and no pasta. I asked the waitress where the pasta was and was told pasta does not come with gluten free dish. If I wanted pasta I would have to order a side. A reasonable approach would be to tell me this before the meal came to the table. While some restaurants do charge extra for gluten free that is stated before hand and even in those cases you are not required to purchase an extra side. My wife figured this was a mistake that no restaurant would treat their customers this way so she emailed the owner trying politely to rectify the situation. The owner told her that we were just looking for a hand out and perhaps our type was better off eating a McDonald's. A very disturbing and sad dining experience.
