Norma’s Review - Palm Springs - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Norma’s might not have the best brunch in Palm Springs, but it definitely has one of the best patios to eat it on. Technically serving as the all-day cafe at Parker Palm Springs, Norma’s is the kind of scene you came to Palm Springs to experience - especially at 12:30pm on a Saturday. Rich women drinking chardonnay before lunch, stressed-out bridal parties guzzling mimosas, and you and your friends going to town on taco salads and Bloody Marys before hitting the pool for the next 72 hours." - Brant Cox

We had this placed saved for the Palm Springs trip! It was a great idea to come here - We sat outside (it was earlier in the day - so it was still not crazy hot) it was a very calm and relaxing vibes Server: Vanessa - she was incredible 😘🤌🏼 very polite and great demeanor. Drinks off the menu: • the joy at the parker - raspberry infused vodka with grapefruit flavor. That was so good! Worth the try • weekend at the parker - it’s as if an aperol spritz and a margarita had a baby (my friend ordered it and loved it) Based on the recommendation of one of the employees- we decided to try the burgers 🍔 and that an excellent choice! I think i was full for the rest of that day! I added grilled onions and avocado on mine with fries. The burgers are supposedly made in house and the quality is amazing! Cooked medium for a perfect slight redness in the center and the everything else loaded on top with a fresh and soft bun. Super Yum! 😋 Definitely on my top 5 burgers ever… - Everything was incredible. Thank you for great service and even better food! Job well done 😘👌🏼

Delicious and cute place! Food was so yummy, and the service was great. Our server Jose was super sweet and gave us a 5 star treatment! The pancake was so gooooooooood! The portion is a little bit too big so I would be prepare to share with a friend.

Google
Absolutely top-notch fabulous brunch that is worth every penny. The portions are massive so if you’re with a group, you can do it family style and enjoy a bunch of different things. We had the lemon pancakes and they were divine, I normally don’t order pancakes, but here I definitely would again. We also had the crabcake which was full of crab just the way it should be. The service was off the charts, really some of the best I’ve had and the atmosphere? Well it can’t be beat. It’s the Parker Palm Springs baby and it’s the best!

A vibrant gem in Palm Springs I absolutely loved Norma's—what a charming spot to soak in the Spring sun. The vibrant atmosphere, from the colorful décor to the carefully chosen glassware, reflects a real attention to detail that sets it apart. As a Londoner, I especially appreciated the laid-back yet stylish setting—such a refreshing change of pace. The Bloody Maria was spot on, perfectly balanced and exactly what I needed. A joyful and memorable experience all around. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Norma’s has been on my radar for years, and I finally made it there the week before Christmas for breakfast. The outdoor space is colorful and charming (aside from the occasional fly), the food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. We had the irresistible flapjacks, huevos rancheros, and the doughnuts. The huevos rancheros looked impressive but lacked flavor, the flapjacks were tasty and huge, and the doughnuts were absolutely wonderful. The prices may seem a bit high, but the portions are large, so order conservatively. Plus, the outdoor setting and service make up for any shortfalls of the food. We also appreciated that the restaurant was dog-friendly and the staff was so nice to our pups. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Palm Springs!

Google
A beautiful and aesthetically pleasing experience. I am not a breakfast person but their breakfast menu had such a wide variety that I was able to get what I wanted and it was delicious. I got the salmon lox, it tasted fresh and delicious. I also got their donuts, they were so fluffy and came with amazing jam. The atmosphere is beautiful and the servers are so nice. Will definitely be coming back and my new breakfast spot in PS Updating post with photos 2/2025 Still obsessed with their complimentary smoothie shots Must get the donuts I personally love the salmon lox and pancakes Everyone else loved their meals too

Google
Lovely restaurant inside of a beautiful hotel. Upscale southwestern with a hint of California retro. Menu is pricey, but the food is good. Large portions and great presentation. Service is friendly and professional. I felt valued and welcome. Upon seating, you are presented with a smoothie aperitif shot. I downgraded a star for the flies in the restaurant. At this price point, I shouldn't have to shoo flies. Sorry, but that's annoying while I'm trying to eat. Other than that, I'd definitely come back. Especially to enjoy their absolutely gorgeous bar

I have eaten here many times and it’s always the best. One of my favorite spots in Palm Springs. The ambiance is a vibe here with all colorful decorations. I had the fish tacos this time and they were sooooo good. The burger is always the bombshell as well. They do have great breakfast options if that’s what you are in the mood for. Meow meow

Yelp
I went to Norma's with three friends on my birthday. It was wonderful. Parking is $25 by valet, or you can park out on the street and walk in. The Parker Hotel is a beautiful building, with an eclectic lobby. A lot of cool things to look at. Norma's is tucked in the back left. The restaurant has a large outdoor space but we chose to eat indoors as it was about 103 degrees (June in the desert). We received a warm welcome from the host and service continued to be absolutely great. Tito was our server. He knew a lot about the menu and offered his suggestions. I ordered the "WaZa", which is a fruit stuffed waffle with bruleed brown sugar on top. My friends ordered Huevos Rancheros and the Short-Rib Benedict. We all loved our food. Absolutely delicious. I was also treated with a birthday dessert (chocolate bomb cake) complete with a candle and singing. On our way out, we discovered that two other people were also celebrating their birthdays. Norma's is the perfect spot for celebrations. I look forward to returning in cooler weather to sit on the patio.

Yelp
The hostess was hardly there and had no method for taking names and seating. The service was ok and very nice. The pricing was ridiculously high and though the food looked amazing but the taste was bland and lacked any real flavor. It's sad because it did look good. The place is set back inside a hotel and you will need to use valet parking. Valet was quick and they do an excellent job.

Yelp
Norma's in Palm Springs offers an exquisite dining experience. With a very quirky mid century modern and yet somehow worldly and diverse theme, the ambiance is chic yet cozy, complemented by attentive staff. The menu boasts an equally diverse range of dishes, from classic brunch options to innovative creations. The Upstream Eggs Benedict was a standout, perfectly poached eggs topped with caviar atop salmon lox layered on gluten free bread with a heavenly hollandaise sauce. That's right... they offer gluten free bread. It's a miracle. The fresh and vibrant ingredients showcased the chef's commitment to quality. Prices are on the higher side, my dish was thirty dollars! You might expect a wait before being seated but there is an impressive waiting area with a fireplace and the coolest designer MCM lounge spots. The culinary journey and impeccable service make it a worthwhile indulgence for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Palm Springs.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant with colorful patio and fun atmosphere. Our server GG (or Gigi??) was super nice and friendly. He was quite knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions! I love that they give you a taster shot of the days smoothie flavor - so yummy and fresh! We got huevos rancheros and the sweet potato and turkey hash. Both were delish! I would love to see some meat option with the huevos - maybe carne asada or chorizo? Fun spot!

Yelp
Our serve, Dahlia, was so cool. She was fun, informative and friendly. She fit with the fun midcentury vibe that was prevalent throughput the whole hotel. They have really cool art pieces that are unique as well as quintessential pieces. The food was great. We had the lobster macaroni and cheese and fish tacos. We started with the crab cakes, the vegan crab cakes and the guacamole and chips. They were all good too but the vegan crab cakes tasted too mushroomy. The drinks were good too. I had a beer and margarita. Their beer selection was small with a cool assortment of foreign options.

Yelp
NORMA'S patio is gorgeous (and very hot should it not shade in your favor). I brunched here with my parents on a recent trip to Palm Springs. I ordered the scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast quesadilla ($29). There's no real description to this entree (because duh?) only that it comes with Monterey Jack cheese, guacamole, and salsa. This dish was so odd because the quesadilla is topped with a crispy tortilla, sunny side up eggs and then the Monterey Jack cheese, guacamole, and salsa are heaped on top of that little topping. All were a little unnecessary, but I guess if you're charging $29 for a quesadilla, there should be some creative leeway? Overall, the brunch was fine though. My parents enjoyed it and we escaped the heat in the knick of time. The food at NORMA'S is a lot like the food you get when you order room service except here, it's public. It's not bad. It's just not that good. NORMA'S fills in every dollar sign in that $$$ description.

Yelp
Best potato pancakes we've ever had! Definitely worthy of the award, accolades and reviews! Order this item!!! First the ambiance of the hotel lobby is beautiful! Really classy joint! We had brunch outside though since we had our dog and found the tables stained and still dirty from spilled juice from earlier guests. While we enjoyed the bright colors on the benches and sun panels, I found the stains unpleasant. Ambiance 4/5 We really liked they started off complimentary shooters of their smoothie of the day, it was nice welcome drink! We ordered chicken Caesar salad (most beautifully presented with a circular crouton dish!), potato pancakes (also creatively presented), eggs Benedict and French toast. Presentation of the food is truly polished and intentional - very nice!! It was a feast for the eyes and taste buds! We did find the French toast to be too sweet and we weren't able to finish due to sweetness. Food 4/5 Prices are fairly high for Palm Springs. It wouldn't be a regular outing due to cost but I would definitely return for the potato pancakes! Service was friendlish but felt transactional and was inconsistent. Value/service 4/5 Parking via valet only but they do validate to subsidize the parking cost.

Yelp
Love Norma's! The food, service and atmosphere is always excellent. This restaurant is a mid century beauty with jonathan adler accents everywhere and has an outdoor patio set in a beautiful secret garden. The caesar salad is delicious and the rancheros is tasty too. I'm also a fan of their americano espresso and healthy fruit bowl with non sweetened yogurt too (it's served in a hollowed cantaloupe) for breakfast. My hubby loves their daily smoothie!

Yelp
Norma's was a great spot to stop in for brunch. It filled up pretty quickly on a Saturday morning, but was not overwhelming. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. A must try is the crunchy French toast. We shared between the group and it was a perfect sweet addition to our savory meals. Our waiter was kind with vegetarian substitutions for the Benedict's. (I.e. sub bacon for avocado). Everyone enjoyed their meals. We sat on the patio and while it was hot, the misters helped keep guests cool. Only downside was the mosquitoes--we were attacked with bug bites. Valet is $15 when validated with a meal ($25 without).

Yelp
Our experience at NORMA'S was amazing! Our server was Gigi, who was fantastic. Both the restaurant and Hotel lobby/grounds are incredible. Beautiful vibe and design. Ate at NORMA'S for brunch, the food definitely worth every penny- one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We had steak and eggs, irresistible pancakes and the gringo carne asada. Even the drinks and smoothie shots were the best! Even better another server, forgive me I don't remember his name, offered to give us a private tour of the grounds and gave us info on the history of the hotel. We will definitely be back to stay here on future vacations.

Yelp
Delicious! We had the traditional eggs benedict and Norma's doughnuts. So good! Perfect benedict and the doughnuts are a must; they come out warm, served with lemon custard and berry jam... They're next level. We sat outside and it's the perfect, chill vibe. We had kind, attentive server who knew just when to come over, each time. Highly recommend. (The Hotel it's located in also SO COOL)

Thompson P.

Yelp
So. Expensive. Especially for locals. But when a friend is in town, it's a nice place for them to treat you lol. Service is great, but hard to find a seat in the shade. The valet parking was pricey when I last ate there, so park on the street and walk in.

Yelp
Seriously so good!! A must try with great ambiance, such a fun place with great bfast & lunch options.

Yelp
I'm a month late on the review, but we made a reservation at Norma's while in town for Coachella, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. The Parker itself is such an experience. From the long, secluded, and flowered driveway to the modern yet cozy décor, the ambiance of The Parker immediately sets your expectations sky-high. Straight through the hotel and out the back doors, nestled under a full awning next to the ultra-exclusive, umbrella-ed guests only podium, is Norma's. I won't lie, Norma's is expensive, but from an experience standpoint, it can't be beat. Sitting on their patio surrounded by trees, gentle wind, and the most beautiful people you've ever seen is absolute serenity. My cousin ordered a $24 Bloody Mary, and my God it was the best Bloody Mary I've ever tasted. Aside from the food, which was delicious, the service was exceptional. If being at Norma's alone doesn't make you feel special, the food absolutely will. Norma's will forever be a must-do for us in Palm Springs!

Yelp
Came at 5:30 for dinner. Service was great. Server was on top of it. Be careful when ordering because alot of basic ingredients are not listed on the menu, so be sure to specify any allergies or items you can't eat. The crab cake was super bland and mushy. Couldn't taste any habanero peppers, but it had alot of crab! Its just that the flavor wasn't there. The crab Louis looked amazing, but it also came topped with carrots, micro greens, capers and onions (none of which was listed), so we couldn't eat it. But the server was amazing and quickly switched it out for a a simpler version and it was incredible! Service amazing! Literally only lost 1 star bc the crab cake supdisappointed.

Yelp
I went to Norma's yesterday (1/24/24) my very first time with a friend and OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The food was absolutely amazing!!! I had the braised short ribs Benedict with sweet potato cakes and that's was truly heaven in my mouth!!!! Everything was amazing!!! The lemonade was truly the best I have ever had!!! The donuts are so delightful and a guilty pleasure haha!! The whole ambiance is truly peaceful and almost feels like you teleported to another destination!!! Our sever was GiGi and he was amazing, so tentative, sweet and just a pleasure!!! Thank you GiGi for the bamboo straws I love them and for being such a wonderful sever to us!!!!

Yelp
Pizza is great! Service is always excellent! This was our first time back since the new owners took over! They did a very nice job, new floor, booths, got rid oh tables in favor of banquet along the wall with tables and chairs and it works much better! I understand they made improvements to the kitchen to make the space better for the employees- it's all great! All the food is great, we're the Friday night Pizza trio! ‍
google avatar

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at Norma's! Stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday and the patio provided a wonderful and calm vibe, very casual but also upscale. Pro tip - it's located within the Parker hotel, you'll need to bring cash ($15) to valet. Vanessa was our server and provided excellent service, she was amazing and super personable. The food was awesome, there were 4 of us and we got the crispy Caesar salad with chicken, breakfast quesadilla, fish & chips, and steak fajita and we loved all 4 dishes. Drinks were also amazing, ask for the "secret menu" drinks, they're the perfect brunchy spritzers. Wish we were in Palm Springs longer because we would definitely go back!

Yelp
Food excellent A The whole staff fantastic Ambience perfect But it was hard to find definitive use gps

Yelp
The food, ambiance, and service from Vanessa (?) were all amazing! The patio is super cute and bright, however next time we'll probably sit inside because of the heat (our mistake.) My fiancè and I shared the Waz-za waffle (papaya, banana, blueberries, creme brulee topping) and it was the best waffle I've ever had. I also ordered the egg white omelet and I loved how finely the vegetables were julienned. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jazmine M.

Yelp
Service was great! The food was good, I had the huevos rancheros and was surprised with how big the portion was. I tasted the espresso martini and it was on the sweeter side, so it felt like more of a dessert. While we were waiting for our food, they brought out a small glass with a sample of their smoothie. That was delicious and refreshing. The decor is cute and quaint, reminds me of a diner with a modern twist.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
This restaurant is soooo good!!! We ate here 3 times during our stay. All the portions are large and the food is fresh. Service is also wonderful and the ambiance is quiet and chill. Loved sitting outside with the mist fans on us. The food can take some time so just relax and enjoy yourself :) Can't wait to get back!!
google avatar

Chiaki O.

Yelp
Expect nothing but a 5-star service here! Had such a wonderful brunch here at Norma's. We booked our lovely seating through PEAK app. They surprised us with complimentary donuts. We tried the James beard award winning potato pancakes (potato latkes), donuts, berry brioche French toast, and short-rib sweet potatoes. All of them were lovely. We'll be back to stay here next time. Amazing ambience and service
google avatar

Janette W.

Yelp
Epic in every way! We stopped here after our spa treatments at the yacht club and were ready to fully embrace the Palm Springs lifestyle aka martinis too early in the afternoon. Everyone who worked here was so sweet and nice and really let us hang out as long as we wanted. It was about 2, so not very crowded. I had the "flat as a pancake" crabcake and it was just what I needed to soak up the martini. The outdoor patio feels very VIP and you could certainly imagine Hollywood stars hanging here for a spell.
google avatar

Terrance S.

Yelp
Lovely environment. Super ritzy and want to give off an exclusive feel on the property considering this is where the stars stay in Palm Springs. The grounds are wonderful, security is definitely stiff, but the food is some of the best you can get in Palm Springs. Great variety, well-crafted beverages, and just an overall high level experience. Will definitely keep returning.
google avatar

Antonia F.

Yelp
Overall we had a good experience. We planned to sit on the very cute patio, but it was so hot we sat inside. Both entrees were tasty (the shrimp quesadillas could have used more flavor and more mango salsa) but the smoothie I order was probably one of the worst I've had. It was not the texture of a smoothie, but more like a thick/pulpy juice was a tiny chucks of ice. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and even though we couldn't sit outside we enjoyed ourselves and I'm glad we stopped by the hotel during our visit.

glenn t.

Yelp
Great sauce used on everything especially my favorite the pizza. Staff incredible and Mary at the door always greets you with a smile and a welcome. Highly recommend
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
So so bad. Are bots writing the good reviews of this place?? Service, food, organization - all terrible. The staff was the worst part of our experience, followed in a close second by the food quality. Observations: table across from us, food comped due to bad service. Table behind me, food comped due to bad food quality. The poor manager was the hardest working employee there; comping everyone's meals. Is this place going out of business? I will say, the guacamole was good. Everything else: shockingly bad. If you want to roll the dice and try this place, I hope you don't get the team that I encountered.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere. Service is top notch. Food was good. Sit outside. It's beautifully decorated. Pricey for the quality.

Yelp
Favorite Dish : Fajitas steak a là gringo ($38) This dish was by far my favorite the steak was so rich and juicy. The plate was also big enough to feed two people.Every plate is actually shareable. Also this presentation of their food !! * * Celebrating besties 22nd birthday The place was very elegant, welcoming, and everyone was very friendly! While we were waiting for our food the server brought us a sample of their smoothie of the day which was nice. * * I will mention it is more on the $$ but you are paying for great flavor, presentation and scenery. * What we ordered : Chicken crispy Ceaser salad ($30) , Norma's Super blueberry pancakes ($27), Something fruity ($18), and Fajitas steak a là gringo ($38)
google avatar

Kshama P.

Yelp
You can call them to make reservations or use open table. They're usually very busy so highly recommend reservations. They've indoor and outdoor seating but indoors is also super open so feels outdoorsy. No restrooms indoors but share the one w the hotel lobby. It has a nice upscale cafe ambience. Service is a bit slow but they're super friendly and nice so it isn't bothersome. We were presented with a welcome shot of the daily smoothie. Besides this, we got the blueberry pancakes w sides of lemon custard and jam, the primavera omlette which comes w potatoes in duck fat and sourdough toasts, and a side of lox, and split one freshly squeezed orange juice sans sugar. Taste, presentation, quality, and quantity are 10/10. Also, enough leftovers for two days!
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
Norma's needs to update their menu from this 2000s brunch culture vibe with a block of so-so cheese melted on everything. Obviously you're there for the setting and of course the service is wonderful (albeit clearly understaffed, hope the Parker staff are making a living wage at this five star resort) but the food is not good given the price. Order the pancakes, they are the best thing on the menu. Do NOT order the huevos rancheros because if you ever had real ones it will make you very sad.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Wishing we would have came here earlier in our trip because this was some of the better food we had in the area when visiting. Stopped in on a girls trip for brunch and the staff was super accommodating from the minute we walked in. We sat in the patio which was a little toasty in may but at least it was covered. Menu has such a variety it's hard to choose from. Griddle lemonade cakes were delicious to share with the group but not sure I could eat it as a whole meal. French toast was amazing but rich so a good thing to split or share. Tacos were phenomenal and full of flavor. Caesar salad has the coolest looking crouton bowl I've ever seen and tastes great. Everyone else at the table loved their food and drinks and agreed that it was a place we would recommend to others and visit again. Make a reservation as it get busy and you won't want to miss your chance to eat here.
google avatar

Sandy G.

Yelp
Wonderful place to eat. Quiet and soft music playing while you dine. Staff was fantastic and attentive. Had the smoked pork chops and they were amazing. Highly recommend the Bonanza for dessert.

Yelp
I normally feel terrible doing anything other than a good review but I feel like I need to say something to help others who are searching for a dinner spot. I use Yelp a lot when traveling so the truth needs to be said to help us find the right place. Three of us ate at Norma's last night and we were the only people there at 7pm. Because we had no idea it would be empty, when we made reservations, the site required us to pay $10 to sit outside in the banquette seating. When we arrived, it was literally empty. So right away we were in shock that we'd paid $10 for no reason at all. We were a bit worried given nobody was there, but sat down and ordered drinks and food. The guys had martinis and they said they were delicious, but damn, they should be for $24! Two of us ordered fish tacos (extremely bland and we kept pouring more hot sauce on them to help but nothing could help) and one of us ordered the Ahi sandwich (also flavorless). The service was perfect and literally everyone at the hotel, bar and restaurant were extremely nice. The ambiance is great. The hotel itself is just amazing and the grounds are as well. We sat on the back patio and had nice heat lamps to keep us warm. I feel like Normas is truly a place for brunch and either they need to work on better food for dinner (and give it some flavor!) or they need to give up on dinner. We were so sad to spend a ton of money and leave unsatisfied food-wise.

Yelp
The most pretentious place I've ever interacted with, and I've travelled the world. Apparently putting your credit down for a reservation (which is an arduous process through some weird website named peak) doesn't guarantee it -- we never received final confirmation of our reservation after taking our credit card, and when I called to confirm, the hostess tried to tell me it was a "bid" on the table that was "rarely available". Not made clear on website. Not welcoming, not cool, not worth it. Go elsewhere.

David E.

Yelp
First time at Norma's and the service, food, and ambiance was perfect for our lunch! Our server Jose was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some terrific recommendations including our drinks! The manager made us feel very welcomed and one of the main reasons we will return soon!
google avatar

Tommy B.

Yelp
The setting is nice and the food was pretty good. However, the prices are very high for breakfast, and the service and dining experience were the worst I've experienced in the last five years. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
google avatar

Stella A.

Yelp
An excellent date night out for locals. The service exceptional with excellent food and drink. The ambiance is from another era and another world. We so quickly felt like we were on vacation. And the all day breakfast really speaks to me! Definitely get the donuts! Fresh out of the oven they are mouth watering! Shout out to George. It is difficult to turn down a cocktail from you when the praise is so effusive! Highly recommend.

Yelp
BEST ricotta stuffed noodles ever. Have had them many times and no one else's compares. Yum.

Yelp
This was the worst brunch we had ever experienced. It took almost 10 mins to be greeted. We were there for an hour by the time we got our food. We were never checked on after our food arrived. It seemed like there were periods where there were no servers out assisting guests. The food was horrible. No flavor at all. I got an omelette with potatoes. My cousin got a salad and he took a few bites and stopped eating it bc of how bad it was. That's pretty pathetic when even a salad isn't tasteful. As a result of the horrible service and tasteless food we would never recommend or go here again.

Yelp
Beautiful resturant, interesting menu, but one star for making me sick and break out in hives. Went and had a fun girls brunch - I ordered the pancakes because the grilled peaches on it sounded really good. There were three small slices of grilled peaches and it was not remarkable in any way. What I will remember was the candied nuts - not just walnuts like the menu claimed but mixed nuts. After eating some with my pancakes and busy talking with friends I noticed hey these are not all walnuts I'm eating. So I flag down a server and ask what kind of nuts are in this - are there any peanuts, and he just responds "oh it's mixed nuts" so I have to then ask can you find out if peanuts because I'm allergic and need to know if I need to take medication right away. He seemed annoyed at having to check and yep - peanuts! The response from the other server was "oh well" - so if you have a peanut allergy or any allergy beware they do not list things properly on their menu and do not seem to care. I'm covered in hives and itchy from this meal - would not recommend.

Yelp
I have eaten here many times and it's always the best. One of my favorite spots in Palm Springs. The ambiance is a vibe here with all colorful decorations. I had the fish tacos this time and they were sooooo good. The burger is always the bombshell as well. They do have great breakfast options if that's what you are in the mood for. Meow meow

Yelp
True perfection from the greeting at the door, to the moment we left! It's hard to describe just how magical and special Norma's, tucked in the Parker is. Make a reservation and get over there! The service was amazing. Every staff member was lovely, attentive and quick! I wish I got the name of our server, but they were so incredibly sweet, offered the best recs for food and shopping in the area and just had great positive energy. The food is top notch, flavorful, filling but not greasy or heavy. We got the donuts, lox and bagel and lobster/asparagus omelet. Each bite was divine. For those complaining about the cost, the portions are huge and the ingredients are fresh. If you want to enjoy lobster in the middle of the desert, in an amazingly beautiful environment, it's going to cost a little more than diner prices. Trust me, you will leave here full and happy. Drinks were perfectly balanced, made from scratch so no syrupy tastes. To top it all off, they treated us to a dessert for our anniversary. Truly a perfect meal!

Yelp
This was our second time at Norma's. The first was a bit rough and we let management know, so upon our return they offered free cocktails, appetizer and dessert. How could we go wrong? First, our server Jose was OUTSTANDING. He was so personable without being cloying, friendly but circumspect. Just delightful. Second, the food we had was right out of the oven or pan, perfectly cooked, and had very hearty portions. Tastalicious! Third, while we were inside at a booth because of the heat, we did long to try the outside patio next time. It is so charming under the umbrellas. They had misters, but you know that can be if there is wind, etc. Next time, for sure. So hat's off to Norma's manager Arial for the comps and we certainly enjoyed this, and will now recommend it to friends.

Yelp
Very colorful and welcoming atmosphere. I'd recommend going for a drink and some photos, but you can skip out on the dinner. A member of our party ordered the vegan crab cakes, she upfront with our waiter about her dietary restrictions and allergies and got violently ill afterwards. The service was also subpar. To give everyone the benefit of the doubt our waiter may have been brand new as he spilled drinks and water multiple times all over the table. He wasn't friendly or attentive. For a group of 8+ there was an automatic 20% gratuity peppered in so it felt like he knew he didn't have to try. For the price and service there's plenty of other places in Palm Springs.

Yelp
This is brunch. That's all I can say. Everything about it just screams brunch. Whatever you theme is, or if you just want good food, go. The entire ambiance is the epitome that everything brunch should be. And fantastic staff.

Yelp
Unfortunately the food and experience was such a disappointment. For a mom's weekend away it's rare that we get to go out for a fun brunch away from our kids and to spend $300 on a bad meal made us quite upset. We also can rarely say "that was a bad meal" but this was it. Sooo expensive and bad food. It started out in a high note with drinks (yet $24 for a Bloody Mary sheesh) and the blueberry pancake was really good - the only thing good. We ordered the huevos rancheros, burger (so dry, no sauce or ketchup even with fries or on burger), shrimp quesadilla and a GROSS fish n chips. The fish was disgusting, the batter was thick and so tasteless, and truly felt like it was inedible enough that we felt like we had to sadly complain. She nicely comped the fish. Lastly, luckily we happened to check our receipt to make sure the fish was taken off but then found like 5 other items in our bill that was not ours. Waitress felt bad but luckily we checked our bill that saved us like $75! Just because this is a cute hotel and outdoor ambiance you definitely should think twice before eating here! :-( or ONLY order off the pancake section!!
