"Chances are, if you’re a dog lover in Seattle, you’ve given Norm’s a try. The longtime Fremont dive allows canines inside, making it a welcome break from the mainly patio-restricted pup-tolerant bars in the area. On weekends, the plush red booths fill with doting dog owners throwing back beers and strong cocktails like the Bark-A-Rita. Though there’s nothing memorable about the human food, the laid-back atmosphere should appeal to mutts of all temperaments—and if you ask nicely, you can get a chicken treat for Fido. " - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

"This laid-back, unpretentious Fremont pub is the original and best-known Seattle dog bar, and there’s always a slew of canines here. Leashes are the rule, there’s an outdoor play area in the back, and in addition to an extensive, very silly dog menu (beefy stix, bacon pupcakes), Norm’s has a pretty good selection of people food too, with the likes of burgers, chili, and Belgian waffles." - Meg van Huygen

We did some search to find a pet friendly late night eatery, that also has vegetarian options in Seattle (I know that’s a lot of filters 😂), and this came up on the top list. I would describe this place as quite Basic, for the prices and ambience. It’s a regular diner, with regular food. We felt that the prices were high for the quantity of food served. We appreciate that the place had a few items on the menu specifically for dogs and we did order chicken breast of our Paw’baby! Good to have options, but better if the quality would’ve matched their offerings. I felt that the chicken breast chunks were quite soggy and chewy (while feeding him). We may go back if we need to take a pet, but not otherwise.

Found this place while looking for a pet friendly restaurant in Seattle. Visited around 4:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon. Not crowded and parking available in the lot next door. Greeted immediately by Johnny, and he brought water for everyone... including our dog. Service was great! Best chicken noodle soup we've ever had. The Totchos platter is a meal by itself and the street tacos ROCK! They even have a menu for the dogs! Definitely will be going back.

It was so great having a place to grab food with our dogs during a rainy day in Seattle! I'm glad we were able to sit inside with the dogs. We ordered the dogs some snacks off of the dog menu, which they loved. The human food was pretty good as well. I'd definitely recommend the waffles if you're there while breakfast is being served. There's a small parking lot nearby where you can park for free, which was convenient.

I like the place and the food is good. They're dog friendly so its a very good spot to bring your buddy with you and enjoy a beer, snacks, dinner or whatever you feel like doing it. I've been there a couple times and enjoyed the experiences. The nachos were pretty good but I feel like they should include a bit more meat than what we got. Gnocchi is well prepared and not heavy, shrimps are tasty and pesto is also very good.

Had a Ceasar wrap and the 4 horse man burger with a pumpkin cider (which was amazing) I absolutely LOVE that it is a pet friendly establishment, they even had a dog menu. The tables for two were a bit hard to keep your dob under, they had a hard claw foot base and the service/food was pub standard. Would go again just because we love the neighborhood and the atmosphere inside, probably just for a drink tho

Went before the solstice parade and only waited 10 minutes for a table for 4. Food was really good and atmosphere pretty chill. The next visit will definitely have the dogs in tow. Lots of other dog owners present with their best companion. Pretty cool that there is a separate dog menu.

Loved the place. Had my dog with me early happy hour so place was a bit empty. But picked up a bit later. Enjoyed seeing the other pups and ordered my pup a bow wow chicken bowl. New bartender Nicholas was awesome! He catered to our every need and even had to mop up a spill a furry friend made.

Great brunch spot - loved the dog-friendly atmosphere and friendly service. I had a great Caesar and my parents really enjoyed their breakfast sandwich and mushroom scramble. Plus their dog loved his pupcake :) When the weather is nice the front windows are wide open, which makes for fantastic people watching and a lovely open-air vibe. Will be back!
