Happy Pills Candy Store Opens First U.S. Location in Boston | Eater Boston

"I found a brightly lit, pharmacy-themed candy shop in the North End — Happy Pills' first U.S. franchise at 121 Salem St. — where customers fill pill-bottle-like containers with one or more of 88 different candies and then choose from a variety of labels; private events can get custom labeling. The Barcelona-based concept recreates the ambiance of a pharmacy, offers some sugar-free options now, plans to add gluten-free and vegan options soon, and is closed on Mondays." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Very cute place with delicious ice cream!! The owner makes everything from scratch. I had the seasonal apple cider donut and it was one of the best flavors I’ve ever had in my life! The owner said that for that flavor she makes the donuts from scratch to add into the ice cream!!

Great place for ice cream in the north end. They offer a small candy store alongside some classic Asian flavors. There are even options for the addition of boba. I highly suggest their tea flavor ice creams and don’t forget the toppings. I got the milk tea and Thai Tea coconut flavors. For someone who likes simple ice cream but with a wits I highly suggest their milk tea. It was a nostalgic taste.

This place is so cute! I keep going back whenever I am in Boston! It’s not your typical ice cream. It's so creamy and so many flavor options to choose from. The service is exceptional, everyone was so kind! Highly recommend to try if you’re in the area!

OMG, a hidden local gem. Amazing ice cream and very cute little candy store. Has the historical feel. I bet it will bring nostalgia to some people. The Matcha strawberry ice cream was one THE best Matcha I've had. The pistachio had real pistachio in it that you actually chew the nuts. The pecan maple syrup was disappointing. Just tasted bland. Unfortunately you can only try two flavors before making the selection (and I went for pistachio and pecan maple) so I couldn't try others. Price is really recent for the amount you get. Please be mindful that these ice cream contain ALCOHOL though, and there are limited non-alcohol options. Planning to come again to try their other sundaes and tea/ice cream floats. Would highly recommend!

Delicious ice cream and other treats. I got chocolate and bourbon maple pecan ice cream. Both were great, but the chocolate reminded me of the malts I would get as a kid at the stadium. The brownies were recommended to me and they did not disappoint. Soft, rich, and cakey. They also have a great selection of unusual and classic candy. Definitely worth a detour.

We tried the Taro, Thai Tea and Raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, and they were all delicious!! However, slightly disappointed that you can only taste test 2 flavors. I taste tested the Bourbon Maple Pecan and it the bourbon taste was too strong for me personally.

I stopped by North End Creamery and tried their chocolate ice cream in a little cup — and wow, it was divine! Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. You can really taste the quality ingredients. The portion was just right, and the texture was so creamy it practically melted in my mouth. The service was also excellent — very fast, efficient, and incredibly friendly. Definitely one of the best spots for ice cream around. I’ll be back to try more flavors for sure!

Choco mint was much better than bask in Robins! And Taro was unique and tasty too. It surely rich Homemade ice cream!
