"I found a brightly lit, pharmacy-themed candy shop in the North End — Happy Pills' first U.S. franchise at 121 Salem St. — where customers fill pill-bottle-like containers with one or more of 88 different candies and then choose from a variety of labels; private events can get custom labeling. The Barcelona-based concept recreates the ambiance of a pharmacy, offers some sugar-free options now, plans to add gluten-free and vegan options soon, and is closed on Mondays." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
