A nice little coffee spot out east. Most things made from scratch. The upstairs has a few different rooms including a kids playroom! Outside can house a band and a ton of sitting guests. The coffee and muffins are delicious.

Google
Can’t say enough nice things about it this place. Service is always phenomenal. Coffee is perfection. Prices are great. I drive 30 mins for this coffee passing several other coffee places because this place is top tier 🩷

Josh Dailey

Google
This is the best coffee around, and they roast in house. Traditionally I’m weary about in house roasters in a small town, but this place has it right. The baristas are very knowledgeable and efficient. As far as the space, it is rather small but quaint. If you are in the area and want 3rd wave coffee, this is going to be your best option available.

Google
I did not have food but I'm sure if I did it would be just as good as the coffee very friendly staff very warm environment I look forward to coming back again with my wife thank you so very much for such a pleasant day we had.

Andonia Fthenakis

Google
Great spot. I’m in a search for the best matcha between Southhold and Orient. The matcha was good but the coconut milk was a bit off. Hazelnut milk would make the matcha top notch. Also found fresh duck eggs for sale on my last visit.

Google
This review relates to the coffee. I happened to come through their neck of the woods for an event nearby, and it was quite rewarding. I enjoyed their superb drip coffee so much that I now purchase the beans whole to be delivered in a different state. It’s just that good. I have given my local roasters opportunities, but when it comes down to elite roasting, North Fork is top tier.

Google
A solid spot to stop by for freshly-roasted coffee. The vibe is cozy and the service is friendly. Would recommend, especially since there aren’t many coffee options in the area!

Google
Had hands down the best hot chocolate ever on this island!!! It’s not too sweet and not too bitter like other places. This place truly is the Goldilocks of hot chocolate! The atmosphere is very down to earth and so pleasant as well considering I came an hour before close. The employees were so friendly would definitely come back earlier for their pastries.

Salvatrice M.

Yelp
Such an adorable venue!! And it's in my hood!! Cozy sofas! Pet friendly! Great service! Coffee is delicious and the muffins hit the spot! Bought some beans to grind at home and made the best morning coffee! We will return!

Yelp
Best latte I could find near Greenport and I tried several. Year after year it's the best, so maybe I should stop trying others and just go there

Jamie L.

Yelp
Dog Friendly!! I absolutely love that people can bring their dogs inside. I mostly watched this cutie while I was there haha I did stay downstairs but I saw people go upstairs. I heard it had more seating. They did offer food but I only tried the coffee We ordered the Lavender Latte and Pistachio Latte. The Lavender Latte was good, the oat mil overpowered the drink. The Pistachio Latte stole the show. Whatever they use for the base is absolutely addicting. I still to this day wish I ordered another one, it was absolutely perfect. Overall, would go back again to try the food and order that pistachio latte.

Yelp
Ambiance: Pretty popular coffee shop. The line on a Saturday morning was through the door. So smart of them to sell merchandise and books on the side so people can check it out while they wait. They do have couches inside, but outside is where the party is. They had a band playing and people jamming out. Coffee: just fine. Matcha latte was thinner than I like and didn't actually taste like matcha. It was just a cup of hot milk. My husband's cortado was so sour and we both agreed we make better espresso at home. Pastry: pecan crumble cake was so dry that we couldn't finish it. Parking: street.

Yelp
I'm so glad we found this cute little place on our way to the vineyard. Perfect way to start our day! Lady behind the counter took our order. Took about 15 min to get our order which is not bad since our food came out nice and hot. I was hesitant to try the lemon ricotta pancakes but so happy I tried it! They were light and perfect amount of sweetness. The breakfast sandwich was everything I hoped for. The croissant was buttery and flaky. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside on one of the benches. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
The most amazing offering on the North Fork. Delicious coffee and lattes. Fresh yummy breakfast and lunch. My favorite for years. And just getting better.

Angela P.

Yelp
It's a tiny coffee shop off the side of the main road, parking is decent. I got a rose matcha latte and it tasted very accurate to the literal flower. I also ordered a tex-mex taco which was loaded as hell, but good if you're looking for a small bite! Service is also very kind and welcoming.

Randy S.

Yelp
Great spot for takeout or eating at copious outdoor benches. Food is excellent quality and coffee is amazing. Great spot.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
ABSOLUTE BEST COFFEE ON LONG ISLAND!!!! I wish I lived closer I'd be here every day! The atmosphere is so inviting and the coffee is a 10/10!!

Ryan S.

Yelp
Is this actually the best coffee shop in the North Fork? This was our second time here. Cute little house turned into a coffee shop and excellent breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and other items. The drip coffee is great, but they also have V60 pour over and most things you could want. Excellent service, and great seating indoors and out!

John K.

Yelp
Outstanding food Coffees and lattes great Great service Ambiance is nice Must stop in Southold

CLARK J.

Yelp
A. Visit this lovely caffeine oasis once a year due to work near by. Great coffee, great vibes and great outdoor seating!

Christina S.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop located inside a former old home. As soon as you walk through the door, you know that the environment and ambiance is something special. I would love to dine inside one day. The drink menu is small but quality. The barista knew her stuff and made excellent drinks. They are Covid conscious as well, providing arrows on how to enter and exit. Lovely outdoor seating is available too. I was offered coffee ice cubes in my iced chai and that definitely put this place over the top!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Will always stop here when I'm out on the North Fork, and honestly will probably make a trip out this way just to come here. Coffee and food are a 10/10 and so is the service. Love the whole space and even on a gloomy morning like today, going there is a treat.

Michelle R.

Yelp
We have been coming here for beans, and they are excellent, especially the house blend- balanced, just complex enough, and not over-roasted. The decor in the shop is really charming- every time I have been in I notice another neat salvaged furniture piece, knickknack, or local artist's painting- and the baristas are genuinely nice humans. Also, as a sucker for anything lavender, I am mildly obsessed with their homemade lavender simple syrup, which is not overpowering and tastes good in any drink.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
When on the North Fork, one of my favorite coffee options to be served is anything from North Fork Roasting. Whenever I have attended a Paw Paw pop up, I have probably consumed half my weight in their hot coffee. I just find it to be THAT GOOD. This is my second time stopping into their physical location & I always find the decor to be adorable. I appreciate that they have their own parking lot & directions on how to proceed during the COVID times. I ordered an Iced Coffee which I found to be slightly unimpressive. I also got a Charcoal Lemonade which was by far the best Lemonade I have had in my entire life. *5 stars for the lemonade.* Also scored a Pistachio Muffin which was great. If you are a local or just passing through I highly recommend making this a stop during your day. You won't be disappointed. Unless you only get an Iced coffee, than maybe.

Angela L.

Yelp
The coffee was excellent; service was mediocre (slow and not-so-friendly). 10/10 for ambiance. Will definitely come back to try some of the food.

Alexandra L.

Yelp
The Quick: Pricey but delicious. This place just has fantastic coffee! A lot of local restaurants will actually serve a unique North Fork roasting cold blend which is pretty cool. Top quality, and served in a great area. They also sell art, branded swag, and food which I haven't tried yet but I've heard is pretty good. Absolutely worth a stop on your North Fork journey.

Raquel B.

Yelp
This was my first time here, I will say when I first walked in it is very cute and nice to stay maybe to do some work on the computer. The customer service on the other hand they were very short and I felt like they could've been a little bit more kinder there was no smiles. They weren't busy at all. The latte was pretty good.

Amelia S.

Yelp
Such a cute little place. I felt like I was sitting in someone's living room. Fabulous staff. Didn't rush us even when we arrived before closing. One of the few coffee shops to actually carry oat milk which is amazing. Coffee was delicious. Chocolate croissant (I don't believe it's bakes on site) was incredible. Unfortunately the cashier didn't know where they were from otherwise I would have purchased every single one!

Ang M.

Yelp
What a great addition to Westhampton! We stopped in today and they just opened. Cold brew and drop coffee were both good. They had some baked pastries but hopefully they offer more post covid. Cute place!!

JP P.

Yelp
The first thing you notice walking up is that its dog friendly and super popular. They have a small indoor seating area with a couch a small table in the corner and a couple chairs. The coffee and espresso is served with little sprucing up. The bee sting is one of my favorites if I do not get the drip coffee. The iced mocha is really good as well. They serve food gluten free and vegan options so it is a great play to grab a bite and some caffeine! If you are out in the north fork and you want coffee definitely stop in!

Kelly C.

Yelp
A must for the North Fork! Chill vibes and great drinks. Order whatever you're in the mood for and it'll be great. Never disappoints. I always look forward to grabbing some bags of coffee to bring home. My favorite bag is the Brazilian. It's strong for a medium roast (I guess that's why it's labeled Med+) and you can taste the hints of hazelnut in it. I also enjoy their house roast, it's a little lighter than the Brazilian in my opinion. Grab some next time you're in the area!

Elfrida Y.

Yelp
Delicious drinks with a friendly staff. It a cute establishment with nice aesthetics.

Caroline C.

Yelp
I love coming here several times a week to get coffee and food. I love love love the iced bee sting, my boyfriend loves the iced mocha, but the cold brew is not as good as I expected. They introduced a new menu with a lot of options, some of which I have tried. The vegan coconut yogurt bowl is incredibly tasty (I think it actually has honey in it so vegans should prob double check?) and the egg & cheese on croissant is very good too. The sweet potato and duck hash fell a little short, being too spicy & lacking other flavor but the menu has many other very good options. The baristas are always very friendly, upbeat, and overall pleasant. Their positive attitudes make me feel very welcomed. The place has a very nice and eclectic interior while waiting in line, and lots of dining space outside to sip your coffee and eat. Great local coffee spot!

Matthew S.

Yelp
Went for breakfast based on the look of the place and the fact that we made it out east early enough to grab some grub before heading out to the vineyards... unfortunately, we were underwhelmed with the food. Service was great, and the barista should be commended on keeping the friendly atmosphere going out on the floor and on his own. Where we started getting off track was the wait on a breakfast burrito and some poached eggs. With nobody else there but a few tables that had already received service, we STILL ended up waiting over a half an hour for our order. It turns out the kitchen needed time to over-cook the poached eggs, and let the burrito cool to room temp. Sorry to say we won't be back, which is seriously a shame because it is an adorable spot.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
This coffee shop is SO, SO cute! We went at 9:30 am on a Saturday and it was packed with people sipping fancy coffees, eating waffle egg sandwiches, petting the house dog (Sinatra) & lounging inside & outside on cute chairs reading the paper/chatting. It's clear this place is a neighborhood staple. I'm really happy we found it on Yelp. We had three iced coffees complete with the coffee ice cubes and they were delicious. My phone didn't have service, so I wasn't able to check in on Yelp (they had a 25% discount), but one of the owners entered it manually and was super sweet about it. I will be back to try the food & hang out with Sinatra. :) But, regardless of how tasty the coffee, it's really the ambiance and the staff that's worth experiencing!

Aileen E.

Yelp
I ordered an iced cappuccino and it took well over ten minutes and when I got it, there was barely any ice in it, absolutely no foam and honey at the bottom. Huh?! I watched her make it, she poured milk into the cup and added a shot of espresso on top...not sure if it was her first day but it certainly wasn't my first time here and not the first time I've been disappointed either. I won't be back...

Tony D.

Yelp
OMGce: Oh My Greatest coffee ever! House blend is out of this world--none better that I've had anywhere on the East End (North & South Forks). Flavorful like you wouldn't believe--until you've tried it. And, as a chai guy, this is hands done THE place to sit & sip one...or three. They blend & brew all their own coffees and teas, and that includes chai that they top with freshly ground nutmeg just before handing it to you. Have you had a strawberry & blueberry scone? Well, even if you have, it was not like these. And breakfast and sandwiches: all crafted in-house. There is seating in two relaxing spaces, down & upstairs; this is a converted old house that retains the comforts of feeling literally at home. Plenty of room to hang out or work--I even witnessed a team of businesswomen, with delicious coffees in-hand, set off for an upstairs conference and only emerge to refuel with more delish coffee. Now, you also need to know that the comforts of NoFoRoCo are *established* and *amplified* by the staff. Ashley, Brittany, Claudia & Collette...everyone is kind, dedicated and super customer-focused. When I settle in, I'm there until closing. I think I'll move into a room upstairs, LOL.

Lauren E.

Yelp
This is an amazing little gem in the North Fork. TL;DR: Amazing food, amazing staff, will not disappoint! Where do I begin? The coffee, the food, the people? All spectacular. I was hungry on a rainy Sunday afternoon in the North Fork and after scoping out MANY menus on the East End, I discovered this place. The North Fork Roasting Co is situated in a cozy historic house amidst fireplace and all. There is a warm feel to the place - you know someone has put their heart and soul into it. The barista and chefs were so lovely - bubbly, engaging, hard-working, friendly - all-around just good peeps and good vibes. These North Fork eateries are known for serving up the local harvest from nearby farms and The North Fork Roasting Co is no exception. I ordered the Vegetarian Chili and Grains Bowl to go. It took a bit of time but oh was it worth it. (When you're out in the North Fork, expect a "slow food" ethos). You can wait outside or inside if they are not at the capacity per COVID guidelines. Masks required (obviously). Back to the food...you can tell they utilized fresh ingredients (like a spicy bok choi-ish green in the grain bowl - YUM!) from local farms. The food was well balanced and flavor combinations were on point. The veggie chili had a nice kick to it which I appreciated. They also included an egg and some cheese to top it off -- SCORE! Like the atmosphere, the food is made with love. Will definitely be returning to explore more of this place!

Frank T.

Yelp
Congratulations Jess on your appearance on Chopped. You should have won, I don't know what the judges were thinking. Your dessert looked way better than your competition. Any way you should be proud of your achievement. Now that the busy season is almost over we will stop by soon for breakfast. We miss Sinatra!

Bill S.

Yelp
The further out on Long Island you go, it always holds a special spot in my heart. My dad owned the IGA in Hampton Bays back in the day. We had a retired uncle who lived in Flanders and during the summers my brother & I lived on the east end with family. I had this place bookmarked for a while. I knew after my wine party at Pindar I would travel further for a good cuppa joe. My wife & I walk into, what seems at one time was a home. To the left is the coffee shop. It has a dark wooden decor, there's a small sitting area to take your coffee and menu items. I want to order coffee and bolt. I see lots of great coffee choices: Flat Whites, Cappuccinos, Macchiatos, Lattes and Chemex pour overs. This is a true coffee shop. Speaking of coffee, they're roasting the beans on site? That is very cool I ordered a Flat White and for my wife I ordered a small coffee. Both roastings tasted great, very happy with our selections. I also grabbed a small baked cookie ;) While we were sipping our coffees, I noticed the area smelled like burnt popcorn. The kitchen area is close, whatever they were doing it wasn't enough to take away from my review. If you're heading out to Orient point - Foxwood ferry, consider a stop at North Fork Roasting Co for a good cuppa joe.

Tanner J.

Yelp
I'm a barista and when I travel I like to stop at cafés. I know I'm not always going to be impressed with the coffee so instead I try to enjoy the experience and novelty. The barista at North Fork was not only welcoming but also made a killer macchiato (the right way). The shop had a great variety of small batch coffee (light roast to darker medium, single origin, and house blends). After trying the espresso and drip coffee I decided to buy two bags of coffee to take home. I look forward to testing them out at home and sharing it with my coworkers at the café I work at.

Dawn F.

Yelp
Delicious latte with almond milk and honey with coffee ice cubes - Honey Badger - I'm hooked!!!

Karen L.

Yelp
I was stopping by before heading to the lavender fields and saw really great reviews. Wanted to say I love it, but it was okay. We ordered two cappuccinos and they both came out really quick at the same time. I'm not a coffee expert but usually when we order, it doesn't come out that quick because they usually make them individually, and there was only one person behind the counter. Also, I order cappuccinos quite often, and this tasted watered down to me. I think they used one expresso shot to make both cups... but I'm not sure. However, inside was really cozy and cute.

Rick J.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee, pleasant staff who are knowledgeable and pointed us in the right coffee for our pallets. Took a pound of beans to ground up home to enjoy. What a great experience and now make it our stop when heading to the North fork. Thank you!!

Anthony L.

Yelp
Walked in and it was super hot, no AC or fans that I could see. We had never been there so I have no idea what their drinks are. The board had a few things but no descriptions. Asked for a menu but it was just food. Asked about coffee drinks and was just told they had cold brew or they can make any coffee hot or iced , but again there was just some pictures on the board with no descriptions and no one seemed particularly interested in describing the drinks or helping us . Wife got "iced hot chocolate" which just tasted like weak chocolate milk and cold brew was "ok". Not worth a revisit for me. To top it off had a 25% off coupon for yelp and they told me " I don't know how to use this coupon " so I wasted it .

Jack D.

Yelp
You won't find another place like North Fork Roasting Company. They vibe in their shop is unlike any other. The staff and Sinatra are very welcoming and are dedicated to what they do. Their new outdoor bar helps cut down on those long summer lines that the vacationers bring in if you're looking for any non espresso drink. If you're looking to grab a bite to eat, their Monster Hash and Grain Bowl are A+. They have a unique menu for the North Fork and if the previous two don't interest you, look for their seasonal items! They also have the newest Square PoS - when there is a line, it moves quickly

Jane L.

Yelp
A lovely quaint spot for breakfast and coffee. There was a steady flow of a people coming in and the staff kept things moving smoothly and were very friendly. Coffee was high quality and breakfast was delish - I got a breakfast taco that was filled to the brim, clearly fresh and made with care. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice homey atmosphere to start your day.

Ellie S.

Yelp
Love this cafe!! It's so cozy & warm. Their drinks are amazing. Their dirty chai latte was so yummy & loved how barista used real nutmeg at the end.

Anjelica R.

Yelp
This place offers the best coffee and food! The ambiance both inside and out is incredible! Inside features a cute little coffee bar with multiple menus of the various different coffee they offer. The outdoor dining area had tables socially distant and even a greenhouse for us to eat in! This was such a cute concept and we really enjoyed having our breakfast in here. The vanilla iced latte was incredible and had coffee iced cubes. They even offered multiple different types of flavors and milks. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was good, but the coffee was the highlight of this visit. Looking forward to returning soon!

Laura Jean O.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Everything is always delicious and the atmosphere is very warm. The owners are wonderful people and staff is always friendly!

Ken K.

Yelp
Super great tasting coffee. I love that they roast their own. The food here is also very good. Last time I was here I had strawberry pancakes. I am not a big strawberry fan but these were SUPER good. Nice and fluffy and not too sweet.

JJ H.

Yelp
Great coffee, loved the low key vibe of the place. Although there was only one person behind the counter, she pushed out that caffeine like a machine! I will def be stopping there next time I pass by, or next time I'm close by I will be detouring to get a cup. PS The pic is of the bathroom! How awesome is that mirror!

Kyle C.

Yelp
Wow. I had high expectations coming here from all of these raving reviews, but I was simply blown away by this place. I was always hoping for a nice little coffee shop to open up in Southold, and this year my prayers were answered. The shop is actually a house, in truth. You walk in and are immediately greeted by their furry mascot, a beautiful chocolate lab. The inside is sectioned off into two rooms for you to sit and relax with your coffee. The one on the left contains the bar as well as a large communal table topped with magazines and hydrangeas. The other room has several couches, stacks of old records, and other antique delights. It's one of the nicest coffee shops I've ever been to simply because of its incomprehensible charm and hipster appeal. They really outdid themselves with the decor. It's perfect. Not to mention, their dog is super friendly and will sit with you on the couch as you sip. Aww!!! What's even more perfect though is the coffee, of course. Their flat white was fabulous. I was reading an article in one of the magazines that features the girls of the North Fork Roasting Company. It described their extraordinary commitment to the craft of roasting and brewing the perfect coffee. It was amazing to see how much effort and love went into it all. It's not often when stunning independent coffee shops like this simply pop up out of nowhere, and it was surely a privilege to sample the fruits (or beans, rather) of their labor. This will be a regular stop for me whenever I'm out on the North Fork on the weekends.

Aileen C.

Yelp
Small, but cute. A great stop during your summer trips out east. Coffee has a great flavor, and the menu is pretty much just the basics.

Kara R.

Yelp
Easily the best coffee on the North Fork. Other places pale in comparison. If good coffee and quaint digs are your thing, don't go anywhere else. This is traditional coffee how it's supposed to be done. Keep in mind that if you like flavored drinks, they don't use syrups, although they have traditionally "sweeter" drinks like chai and tumeric. If I lived nearby, I would be here every day. Seriously. Make sure going here is on your to-do agenda. As an aside, this atmosphere is great for working. Bring your laptop/notebook and sit down for awhile.

Amanda L.

Yelp
Cut atmosphere, indie artsy vibe. Had a relaxed time with some tasty coffee on a rainy day

Karen P.

Yelp
Plain and simple. I adore it here. Have been every weekend since opening weekend. These ladies have gotten it right. They have created a darling little spot that makes you feel like you are in your own living room! Complete with repurposed furniture items, local artists' pieces and fun coffee table brain teaser toys Hook up to wifi and do some homework etc. And don't forget to check the crafty green fridge in the corner for some homemade granola and yogurt or homemade rice pudding. Jess & Jenni (& co) make the most outstanding pastries. They resemble items that pop off the pages of food magazines! Which reminds me.... Too cheap like me to subscribe to foodie mags... Check out their great selection and take photos of recipes like I do! Haha. Slow life down a little, go to NFRCo try their amazing brews! I recommend the oh-so dirty chai latte. And their blueberry muffin is unlike no other. Welcome to one of the many reasons I love living on the NoFo. Cheers! (Yes, you can cheers coffee!!)
