The Best Dive Bars In Atlanta

"The back wall of this Inman Park bar is decorated with quotes like, “You’re not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on.” Clearly, casual drinkers need not apply here. An older crowd of locals fill the seats at the bar, and old black and white photos of historic buildings in Inman Park line the walls. If it reeks of neighborhood pride from the decor to the clientele, it’s probably because this is one of the few real neighborhood-y bar scenes in Inman Park. With a few larger TVs above the bar, things can get sporty here, too—and there’s often someone who’s had one too many yelling at the screen. The menu is identical to their sister restaurant, The Bucket Shop, so their burgers and other bar bites are solid. " - juli horsford

Atlanta’s Best Bars | Eater Atlanta

"The Highlander, located in the Midtown Promenade on Monroe Drive, has been open for over 25 years and claims to be “a fixture of Atlanta’s late-night party scene.” Head here for classic bar food like their tater tots, cheap beer, generously poured shots, and no pretense. Sorry, this bar is strictly 21 and up." - Beth McKibben

Great nachos, attentive server, low profile, great prices.

Love the place! Great food and staff. Awesome neighborhood taven.

Greg Johnson

Google
Went with my son the other night and had a great time! Service was outstanding and the wings were awesome!

David Jordan

Google
The service is excellent, the drinks are perfect, and the food is fine. We thought we might like the food more than we did, but it just turned out to be Ok, rather than great. We may not have ordered the best menu items on this visit, but the experience was positive enough that we would be willing to try again. Would recommend.

Google
Best burger I have ever had and the vibe in there is so chill. Great little spot.

Google
I have been here more than once. The servers and bartenders all do a great job to make you feel welcome. Really decent beer selection. The parking lot is valet only on the weekends but it’s pretty easy to find street parking. 2 thumbs up. Would recommend!

Google
Had a beer while watching the game, and was told to leave since I didn’t get anything else. Just wanted to relax and watch the game but apparently if you aren’t spending money every 10 minutes, then you aren’t welcome. The host was extremely rude. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Google
Tl;dr - basic pub Sangria was ok. Food was decent. The wings were pretty good. Chicken tenders, cheese sticks, and chicken rolls were really basic. Beer list is quite lacking. Service was a little slow but good.

Yelp
Big fan of this place. Great beer selection. Great food, great vibes, and a decent amount of TVs to catch the game!

Yelp
I really loved the small town feeling of this bar! There was only one bartender working and serving food, however, we were greeted immediately, found a seat, and felt at home. This place is a place of regulars and can be booked and crowded quickly if there is a game or event going on. The prices were reasonable, we ordered the Nachos and the Chicken Philly. The food wasn't anything to write home about, but it wasn't bad for pub food. Service was good, bartender was sweet and working hard, but slow at time due to the one person working. Wouldn't recommend this place for a quick meal, but definitely a fun place to come and join in on the fun and have a nice beer and snack if needed. :) We will be back! Thanks for having us!

Yelp
My best friend and I went yesterday (July 26, 2024) to eat at another establishment, however we walked into North Highland and Potter greeted us and told us to sit whenever we wanted. The pub is very cozy and has an extremely friendly atmosphere. Potter was the bartender, waiter and food runner, not once did he forget to check on us to make sure we were doing ok. I had the Salmon BLT with fries and my best friend had the Triple Decker Club with sweet potato waffle fries, we both had the Strawberry Fields ( strawberry margarita), they were absolutely delicious and had a KICK lol. We definitely will be back. If you are ever in the area, please check this pub out.

Yelp
My buddy wanted a whole beer but his girlfriend wouldn't give him another she works here and is acting like it's her last day

Yelp
My friend and I were so excited to see this pub with Auburn memorobilia since we're big fans, so we stopped inside for a drink. Let's just say the bartender did not demonstrate the Auburn spirit. He was so rude. I ordered a cocktail on their menu and he said "we haven't had that for years." He didn't offer anything similar. My friend ordered a tequila sunrise. He dropped the drink in front of her and said "there's no grenadine." He didn't ask her if she wanted a different drink or any alternatives. He rolled his eyes when she asked for a splash of cranberry. He told us there weren't any seats and then when a man walked in, he cleaned up a spot and had him sit there. I'm giving this place 3 stars because the drinks were $6 and I obviously loved the Auburn decor. It was super loud, but not too busy for 8pm on a Saturday night. I didn't try the food but I'd consider coming back to see if their other staff are nicer.

Yelp
I love a good bar with some good bar food. My go to is the salmon sandwich. Happy to get some onion rings too.

Yelp
Getting 5 stars because it's the only bar I visited that serves Don Julio and has Jagermeister ON TAPPP!!!! Nothing hits better than a shot of ice cold Jager. Very nice dive bar, great service and very clean establishment. Loved this place.

Yelp
Bartenders are very good. They have a pretty good selection of Bourbon. Nice spot to just go and hang by yourself or with friends.

Yelp
Customer service is GREAT! Very clean and respectable establishment! The food IS ALWAYS GREAT! Wait times are very short even with there being other individuals there!

Yelp
Deeply mismanaged. Despite being a late night restaurant, they hire Cooks who want to go home early. I watched as the cook just decided he was done and refused to serve the orders already in for half the restaurant. Might come out we called ahead to verify the kitchen hours, we drove halfway across town, we ordered and were charged for the expensive drinks because food was part of the deal. And then they just said sorry you're not getting it, here's your bill for the drinks. Absolute definition of bait and switch and mismanagement. There's TONS of demand for late night food right now. You could charge whatever you wanted. Why do these idiots hate money?

Yelp
We met friends here for dinner during the Inman Park Restaurant Week. NHP seemed to have one of the more varied menus of the participating restaurants. They didn't take reservations (at least for that day - not sure about generally) so we tried to arrive a bit early. There seemed to be some on-street parking in the area, but the restaurants on this block share a valet lot, which we used. We then walked to the NHP and found that it was almost full (this was around 5:45 p.m. on a Friday). A table was freeing up, though. The place is not huge, so it can fill up quickly. Our friends arrived shortly and we had a nice meal. After getting the drinks for us, the server first just took the starter order and waited to get the main dish orders until later. I'm not sure if that was due to the way ordering works during Restaurant Week or it is the general practice. It seemed slightly unusual, but it didn't delay the meal, so no issue there. A couple of people got tacos, which they seemed to like. My burger was fine. The chip-based starters were okay; the Rasta rolls were sizable. The included dessert selections were good; I enjoyed my brownie. I did see some comments about how you could smell cigarette smoke from the entrance sometimes. This may be more of an issue if they have the door open (seasonally?). I think I noticed this one time during the 2+ hours we were there; it didn't seem to be an issue that night. I would consider returning here for a similar meet-up with friends, or might stop by if I lived in the area.

Yelp
Bartender was hella friendly and the pours were nice and heavy. Relaxed atmosphere and the mozzarella sticks were bussin!

Yelp
Great laid back atmosphere and the food is yum. I usually order the California chicken grill sandwich or the fish tacos There are two men who work the front of the bar - Potter and Kay O I bet I'm spelling their names incorrectly. Happy to have found this gem

Yelp
The location and small pub feel are great- everything else is mediocre or awful. I live so close and can here wit some friends the other night. People were not joking about the smoke smell. It's awful. Server was funky and nice but only half decent at her job. She didn't have many tables but wasn't on her a game The martini and mixed drinks we got were awful. I felt like they dumped half a jar of bad olive juice in my martini. In their defense, I should've ordered beer at a pub. In my defense, don't put something on the menu if it's shit. All in all, this is a cozy and somewhat low end neighborhood bar. If that's what you're lookin for, there are better ones around but it's not the worst choice.

Yelp
Never been here but because It's Inman park restaurant week, my friends and i decided to check it out. I sorta regret my decision. there's one server. FOR RESTAURANT WEEK!!! The. Absurdity! The wait time for food is ridiculous. More than 20 minutes passed before we even received appetizers. I ordered the uptown shrimp, Caesar salad and brownie. I will say the food was good. (The chicken for the salad was tasteless by itself but with the salad it was fine). It was a table of 5 and One of my friends order was wrong: Appetizer AND entree. But they should definitely put a now hiring sign in the window. The parking is adjacent to Wisteria. It's comp valet. Also. If you hate smoke avoid this place. Didn't know you could smoke inside. But I guess that doesn't matter because the people who are smoking outside stand RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR which is WIDE OPEN! I've been coughing since I walked in.

Yelp
A cozy pub near Inman Park. Each day of the week, they have great, dirt-cheap specials. "Taco Tuesday" features $4 margaritas. The margaritas were pretty decent, and quite strong, for a bargain deal. We couldn't sample the Tuesday $2 tacos, as there were no vegetarian options, but instead tried the pretzels. They were incredible, hot and fresh served with spicy mustard and beer cheese. The service was friendly, attentive but pleasantly laid-back. This is a great alternative to Inman Park's more high-end establishments, if you are in the mood for drinks, bar food, fun music and a relaxed vibe. Enjoy!

Yelp
Ooooo my little highland gem. You wanna go where everybody knows your name? This is it. The neighborhood bar where all the locals come to get their fill and catch the game. Every day of the week they have specials for food and drinks, some days even food and drink pairings. Boy do I love a bar with specials. I came here on a Sunday and mimosas were $4 and sangria was about $6. You can't beat that. Several games were playing on their 3 tv screens and everyone seemed to be pleased with the options. The bartenders and even the people all seem to know each other or are friendly with one another, which was nice. It's a very friendly and inviting place. Not a huge bar, but not small either. I'll be back to try some food!

Yelp
Food is delicious and service is fast and friendly. Our waitress recommended the wings and the cheesesteak with au jus which was delicious. We will be back!

Yelp
This is definitely one of our go-to spots. The food and service are consistently good. I tend to get their salmon wrap, which is fantastic as they don't skimp on the salmon! We grabbed take-out from there last night, and they did not disappoint with the portion size. We have also tried their daily specials. Nice atmosphere and great location. Parking has never been an issue.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Great neighborhood vibe that makes you feel right at home. Every time I've been the service has been incredible. The food also is unreal. Probably the best wings that I've had in Atlanta
google avatar

Meredith R.

Yelp
Sunday lunch. $4 Bloody Mary's....perhaps the best I've had. Spicy. Strong. Big. Even the olives were delish. "Barkeep, I'll have another." My sandwich -- not sure why I ordered this -- a chicken Philly cheese steak. (Wait, even the name makes no sense.) It was okay. My husband's avocado bacon burger .... yum. Wanna swap? I like this bar filled with people who probably never met before, yakking away about emergency room bills, Michael Jackson's kids, NY sports teams. I'm comin' back!

Yelp
So we were going for Ethiopian on friday, but traffic changed those plans. We needed to get a quick meal before the event at Dad's garage and I tried to think of where we could go. I realized that it was Good Friday which gave me a strong craving for fried fish. We also didn't want to wait an hour for dinner. North Highland Pub met all of these needs. It's tucked away on North Highland Avenue near Wisteria. Dan and I have gone here on several occasions for a quick meal before going out for drinks in Vi-Hi or Little 5. They usually have at least one table available which is great on a friday evening. The decor is classic pub, and the mirror with the bar quotes on the back wall is pretty cool. It's smokey but not unbearable and they have a Golden Tee game which is fun. Don't let this bar deceive as the food is excellent and the drinks are great. The bartenders can actually make excellent cocktails beyond my regular Crown and Ginger. Beer selection is great and well priced for the area. Now back to the food, I mentioned that I love fried fish. I was raised in a Catholic household and that meant no meat on fridays during Lent. I've been to many a local fish fry back home and I am super duper picky. These guys have the best in the city which consists of three huge, freshly battered pieces of Haddock with homemade cole slaw and choice of side (I got tots) for only $7.95. It was delicious and I couldn't finish it all. The Daniels both got burgers and enjoyed their food too. So if your looking for a place for dinner and to start the night out in East Atlanta this is my recommendation.

Yelp
I stopped by this bar after a fantastic dinner next door at Wisteria. Yesterday was my Inman Park food and libation day. Brunch earlier in the morning was next door at Folk Art. I came in for 1 drink--a Kettle One vodka and tonic with a lime. It was a stiff drink, yay. My friend had two martinis (didn't try it). Although I didn't talk to anyone else at the bar, everyone seemed friendly. The bartender was polite but not really a smiley type of guy. I believe this is an Auburn bar. There's an Auburn flag out front. There's valet parking for this little strip of restaurants. It could be complimentary but I haven't had the opportunity to pay.

Yelp
I am visiting from Phoenix and own a travel company. This is a great local bar with lots of regulars. Bruce and Kat are both friendly, warm and provides excellent customer service. Their shrimp tacos are amazing.

Yelp
This is my "go to " for lunch and casual dinners. Its very quick at lunch and i can be in and out in 30 minutes. They service is very good and the bartenders are great at multitasking when its just them. The salads are my favorite but everything is so good. Fish tacos, quesadilla, french dip, chicken parmesan and soups all good. This is not gourmet but its a favorite amongst locals and regulars its easy to see by their constant bar crowd. The salad dressings ( balsamic vinaigrette and blue cheese) are home made it seems and are my personal favorite. Ill keep coming back. Thank you
google avatar

Karen A.

Yelp
I just consumed what may have been the BLANDEST grilled chicken wrap I've ever had in my life. I had to send the fries back because they were as cold as my heart. No seriously, I expected more and I didn't get that. Should have just gone to Folk Art which is right next door.

Yelp
I struggled between two and three stars. Three because I have history with North Highland Pub (although I'd not been in a while) and the food is decent; two because the draft beer selection is sub-par and the incredible stench of cigarettes. We had actually forgotten that this was a smoking bar - it had been that long - or we would have altered our plans. Thankfully, we dine early, so the place wasn't totally smoked up yet. But still, like you can smell the stench of a smoking-allowed hotel room, it was pervasive. Enough of that. Burger was pretty decent. They are quite customizable - I ordered mine with a fried egg. Tater tots were great, but it occurred to me that I really couldn't be sure if they were pre-frozen or made in-house. Whatever, I liked them. The menu has a lot of stuff I'd order. Yay, pub food.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I love bison burgers! And I was so pleasantly surprised that North Highland Pub serves them! The bison burger was quite good. I did a build your own burger with pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, a Cajun spice, and bacon. It comes with a side and I picked tater tots. Not the best tater tots in town but the main highlight was the burger. Got all that for around $12 bucks. There is a full service bar with a ton of liquor and beer options. We were there for Trivia Tuesday and won a free pitcher of beer for one of our rounds. The beer was a craft beer they and the trivia guy were showcasing. I love when they showcase local breweries. All and all, a classic pub with great service and atmosphere

Mercedes H.

Yelp
Disgusting! My husband just went it to have a drink. We asked what ipas if any were on tap. Bartender points to the taps. We then ask for a drink menu. Bartender responds says no without looking in our direction. It's 12:45pm on a Sunday. Only one other person was in the entire restaurant. Get a new bartender. We were out before we would even order bc of his rudeness.

Yelp
This review is for the weekend brunch. First off it opened at noon and not 11 like it said on the internet. Second the food is super pub-y food. I really dont think they want to do food because they dont do any of it well. its just a half hearted attempt. i think their real passion is alcohol. on sunday morning there was one guy bartending, waiting tables, and running food. i think there was one woman in the kitchen cooking everything too. and the place next door that actually does brunch had a wait for about 3 hours so this place filled up with their spill over since there is no other place near by for brunch food. so long story short, their food is junk and may be akin to the packaged sandwiches you get at a gas station. but their location is super cool and their night life is primo.

Yelp
I'll give this place 5 stars! On Thursday My boyfriend wanted to get me some food after he got off at work...which is 11 pm at night. Not too many options for eating at such a late time in Atlanta. So after looking up about 3 places on Yelp that claimed yet had their kitchen closed, a friendly guy at republic social house suggested North Highland Pub. We arrived at north highland pub and the bartender was welcoming and informed us that the kitchen would be open for another hour! Score! So down to the food. We ordered reggae egg rolls as our appetizers. Jerk chicken, black beans and corn inside of an egg roll. It was pretty damn delicious. Then I ordered fish tacos as an entree with Jalapeno slaw which was very good as well. Vanilla beer porter for my drink. Not too bad for midnight on a Thursday in Atlanta.

Yelp
The North Highland Pub has long been a vaunted take out spot among the people living in the apartments surrounding the pub (N. Highland Ave., Inman Park), of which I am one. The menu contains typical pub grub (burgers, wings, chicken fingers), but it is the quality of the ingredients that set them apart. As my next door neighbor, Josh, said, "I've never had something there that I didn't like." The "pub" as locals call it, also has a hip, yet comfortable bar scene. I don't typically partake in it but on a recent Monday night my wife and I decided to check it out. Be for warned, if you do not smoke or have a serious aversion to cigarette smoke, this is not the place for you! The pub is very smokey and closed in. There are no patios to sequester smokers to. However, they do leave the front door open on occasion. Knowing that it was like this from my many takeout trips there, we prepared ahead of time by wearing our "smoking clothes." Which consists of jeans and one of those funny t-shirts you get from Target or something from a consignment store. We walked in and initially the smoke factor was not that bad. We decided to sit down at the bar, because that's what you do at a bar, and order menus and two cosmos. Be for warned again, the drinks are extremely strong, if you are a lightweight (nothing wrong with that), stick to beer or wine. Otherwise, you will be feeling it in the morning. After sipping our pinkish drinks for a few minutes, we made our order. I ordered the bucket shop chicken rolls, my wife order the fish tacos. Both are appetizers so we ordered a side of fries to split. By the way the service is excellent. They may come off a little gruff initially, but they really are very nice and prompt. Our food came out just in time for our second drinks; a Bass for me and another cosmo for my wife, yes she can hold her own. The food was excellent. The bucket shop chicken rolls are tender chicken, peppers, and cheese sauce, wrapped in chalupa-like tortilla. It is substantial as a meal with a cheesy, spicy taste. The fish tacos are self-explanatory but excellent, tender, with a little spice to them as well. With the fries we were full and ready for trivia and our third drinks. Be for warned on more time, trivia is difficult, especially when you've had three drinks, but if you love trivia, try it here on Monday nights. It's a team format and covers a wide range of topics. The winner gets a free bar tab for the night. Not to bad! And this place is excellent. For good comfort food, in a comfortable and fun setting, North Highland Pub is a good choice. Also, did I mention you can watch the Falcons there.
google avatar

Daniel N.

Yelp
Although I chipped my tooth on a fork eating their crab rangoon appetizer once (entirely my fault, I'm a dumbass), I consider this place a friendly, quiet, calm place to get a beer or burger and space out. Parking nearby without paying will involve walking and serious parallel-parking abilities, but is not terribly difficult. The guy who runs trivia has one of the better trivia voices in town, as well.
google avatar

Blaire B.

Yelp
This place is the perfect embodiment of what a neighborhood pub should be. Its small, but usually pretty full and most of the people inside are regulars. Very small staff will quickly learn your name and drink of choice upon multiple visits. A great place to watch a big game (especially Auburn or Falcons), but be aware they will only be showing one game and Auburn football trumps everything else here. As far as food, it is pub grub, but it is very well done pub grub. Anything you order that contains chicken in this restaurant will be exceptional (especially Reggae Rolls, BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza, or chicken fingers). The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the smoking, but its only allowed after ten which I can deal with. Also, make sure the specials on your menu are current. It really pisses off your customers when they try to order a special on the menu and are informed that those specials no longer apply. Either print new ones, or keep the specials until you get new ones printed.

Yelp
Big fan of the food, location, and overall ambiance. Never overly impressed with the service, but everything else about this place makes that fact fade. My favorite thing on the menu? Grouper Sandwich with cheese (everything is better with cheese). From the crisp bread, to the fresh tomato, to the perfectly fried piece of fish --- yummy. My husband is a big fan of the fish tacos. He actually thinks North Highland Pub has the best fish tacos in Atlanta. That's a bold statement, especially coming from him! If fish tacos are on the menu anywhere, there's about an 91% chance he'll order them. KEY NOTE OF ADVICE: Is this a great place to celebrate with your birthday your closest 25 friends for dinner? No. This place is too small for big groups, don't even attempt it unless you're in a group of 6 or 7 or less... Yet, perfectly cozy for a double date, a drink by yourself at the bar, or lunch with a few friends. Overall, a great neighborhood pub worth spending some time at...

Yelp
I haven't been here super often, but it was a favorite of an old friend who liked to frequent this joint. Going to this pub never bothered me since it is about three minutes from my house. What I hated about going here was not getting one of the few booths. I am five feet and I hate when I cannot touch the ground with my feet. So I hate sitting at the tall (for me) bar. Sounds lame to non-shorty's, but most places don't irk me because I try to stick with mostly booth locations. But I love this place when I have a booth! I have only been here to drink, and that has been more than a fine time. I have seen so many random folks obliterated here, to the point of embarrassment, I cannot even begin to recount the stories I have from a few times of visiting. I have laughed at too many drunken Buckhead girls who have wandered to this part of town, only to get wasted and make a fool of themselves amongst the heavily tattooed gents in here, who try to humor them into sobriety.

Yelp
Burger was good, but only 6oz before cooking. Fries were soggy and underdone and mushy in the middle. Fried pickles were not good. Fried pickles were low quality pickles to start with sort of like McDonalds served on their burgers and cut too thin to have the correct ratio of breading/coating to pickle. Draft beer was cold. Bartender didn't even come down the bar to ask me what I wanted. Awkwardly shouted to ask me what I wanted from halfway down the bar. I wasn't even sure he was talking to me at the time. I was sitting right in front of the beer taps that I knew he had to come down the bar to use to pour me a beer. Bartender made me feel like I was interrupting his day. Burger needs to be at least 8oz to charge $11.95 plus tax. $7 would have been a fair price. I could make 8 of these burgers at home for $11.95 with buns and everything. I had a decent tasting small burger, undercooked fries, crappy Fried pickles and a cold beer for $30. $15 would have been fair.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere! Easy parking. By far the best homemade veggie burger I've ever tasted. Super friendly service. The blueberry lemonade is a must have quite the tasty signature drink

Yelp
Without a doubt a "local's bar". I lived next door for a few years and recently moved - still go back. The food is good, the beer is ice cold and a great selection on tap. Always know the regulars and the bartenders. I always seem to end up here. It may not be everyone's haunt, but if a local bar is what you're looking for, this is your place. As a side: after 10:30pm they allow smoking indoors. Adds to the ambiance in my opinion.

Yelp
North Highland Pub has been a fellow friend of mine for many years. I love the fact that no more than forty people can fit inside--I love the wood floor, the beer quotes, the big t.v.s, and the fact that although it is a pub, it is still relatively clean without being too squeaky clean. I have spent many occasions here and cannot remember ever leaving here disappointed...summers at the bar drinking beer, lunches in the Spring when they leave the front door open & let the nice Spring breeze wane wistfully through the tiny pub, and late nights here chatting over more beer and good food. I watched the election here after my husband left Manuel's Tavern because it was so crowded he could not physically put his beer to his mouth...and although I wish that I would have gone to Ebenezer Baptist Church instead, this was the perfect bar for me...full of excited people, a huge t.v, and a great server who kept bringing us shots every time Obama won a monumental state. I had the veggie burger, which was perfect...probably one of the best I have had recently. Other good things: wings, fish tacos, burger...and they even have good salads, which is a hard find in a pub. I would definitely recommend coming here any day of the week...

Yelp
I love this damn place. It's hard not to feel like Norm from Cheers after you've been in a few times, between Joe, Suzanna, Potter and Corey your drink is in front of you before you have to order it (as long as you aren't one of those Taco Mac around the world types) and there's always a genuine "how are ya" behind it. The later it gets, the smokier it gets, and you'll never go home in a condition that allows you the privilege of smelling your own perfume/cologne, but in the summer months this can be a saving grace. No patio = less hipsters invading, just a bunch of neighborhood guys and gals out for a low key evening with a couple of pints. Did I mention I love this damn place?

Yelp
Popped in here with my rugby mate for a pint or two. Ended up having several more while we played a little golden tee. I like this place for its out of the way location, the homey sort of atmosphere, and the cool bartenders. Good selection of beer, and some excellent selections. I'm only giving this place three stars at the moment, but that's because I did not avail myself of the food. Not that it didn't look really really tasty. If I hadn't eaten already, I would have ordered something. If they didn't serve food, this place is definitely a four star place. That last star will probably come on my next visit up to ATL and sample that mouthwatering food I saw. Everyone here is totally relaxed and just cool to sit around and chat with. Worth your time, and more importantly, worth your penny.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, TVs for football and yummy food. The chicken wings were delicious and the cowboy burger was fantastic. Sweet potato fries were perfect. The blueberry lemonade hit the spot.

Yelp
Yup. Dolling out my first 5 stars since moving to Atlanta. This was a really solid meal. Menu is super basic pub food with a great BYO burger section. It's so rare to see a chicken burger as a choice at a restaurant and I was really excited to see it there along w ground chuck (I mean...that's the only way to do a burger), Kobe, turkey, black bean, and bison. That's perfection for me. I tried the chicken burger this time and I could tell it was really lean, but wasn't dried out. Bravo. And delish. Hubs got chuck and it was done perfectly. Jalapeño coleslaw and house made chips were both outstanding. We will be back very soon to try out the great selection of apps. Also, really really great service. One waitress had the whole bar and she was outstanding.

Yelp
I've been hoodwinked by fellow yelpers again with all the rave reviews of this place. This was in my top 3 worst meals of all time. We had the beer battered fish, wings, reggae rolls and nachos. The nachos were consumed. Everything else was transferred to the trash.

Yelp
If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd probably be here more often. This is the epitome of local pub. Decent food, stiff drinks, and a cast of characters from the staff to the regular customers. A small note, this pub is operated by the same folks as Charlie G's and The Bucket Shop and they all share the same menu.

Yelp
Favorite go to spot! Drinks are always A1 nice and sting even the specials. We've tried a variety of foods from the menu all great from egg rolls to the blackened chicken Alfredo and the $2 tacos all great. They have a really nice variety of house sauces they're all really good too.
