North Hollywood Recreation Center

The park is nice, but the homeless issue needs to be addressed. The park has lovely trees and shade. There are tennis courts , basketball, baseball, hockey , skatepark. Overall it’s a good park.

This recreation center isn't the largest in the city but has a lot of facilities, including baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, but there is also the less common activities like a pool and a skate park. Across the street of Magnolia Blvd there is a nice triangular park with walking trails. On the other hand, the rec center looks like it can use a little bit more maintenance.

The rec center is a complete joke. No one in that department knows what they are doing. I had waited in front of a computer on April to sign my kids up for soccer, when I did there were still 6 more spots left. I never got email of first evaluation, I showed up on the date that the receipt said to show up to find out it had happened already. Miguel helped me out this day, he also made sure he found me on the computer and that he saw my kids enrolled. He assured we were good and come call for the second evaluation... I called every other day until they Miguel himself gave me the day with the wrong time. That second evaluation he put my kids down on the roster for younger kids, once I notice I called his attention on it and he said he for sure put them in the same right roster. When evaluation was done again, I asked Miguel and Sean if my kids were on the roster they said yes. To wait on the call for practice. We got no email or call. So I started calling again . No one in that office knew what to do or how to answer my question until Jasmin said they didnt add my kids to the roster. She said she would have Sean reach to me until this day he never did. A director emailed me with lies saying there was glitch and they could t find my kids, which I knew was a lie because two weeks back Miguel made sure we were good and I myself saw he pulled our file and everything was good. They gave other kids my kids spots and left mine out. Returned with lies... We had gotten all their gear and they were excited to start. This people needed up taking kids that never signed up to begin with. I would t recommend signing up any sports here.

Great Park that encompasses multiple blocks alongside the 170 Hollywood Fwy. Lots of shade and spots to walk, lay or hangout. A lot of homeless humans call parts of this park home (often clustered in one area or near the parc and recreation center building). Everyone is pretty friendly, lots of parking alongside the park and a few lots as well. A few food vendors setup here occasionally throughout the week/weekends. Lettuce Feast being one of my favorites.

Even with the visible homeless population, this park and rec center are a great choice for getting out of the house and away from the busy pace of the rest of the city. Generally clean, with easy access to facilities and plenty of space for sports and adventure.

Great place to wander around and walk my dog

Good park but could have some tree trimming done. Random tree decorated with fake presents underneath. Nice people and place to relax on a blanket or have a picnick while watching a friendly soccer game. Quite a few homeless individuals but otherwise they do not make me feel like I would not want to come back. Given how close it is to the no ho arts district it is a prime spot and likely the reason why it is a popular spot for all.

Overall, this is a great playground for kids, but lately, it has become very rundown and dirty.

Basic, Dirty, No Bathrooms but it does have a decent play area for the kids, A Basketball court and a wide open (dead) grass area and as a bonus... Target is right next door. Enjoy!?! #jsho

This review is for the tennis courts. First off, I appreciate that there are tennis courts and they haven't been replaced with pickleball, probably because they are always full. Which wouldn't be a problem if people followed the posted rules and ceded their court after their set/30 minutes when people are waiting. But they linger for an hour plus, and act like it's the US Open and they've got to grind out their 5-set match or they'll lose their sponsorships. Y'all know who you are!

Reviewing the basketball program. My son has played for several seasons and has had a great time with Coach Miguel. Lots of good kids and it's organized. There is an unhoused population at this park but it's better than last year.

This is for the playground structure. I only docked office star because they don't have anything for children with disabilities, which is now my new marker for a five star playground and there is graffiti on play equipment. My daughter asked someone drew on this, and there are probably 10 spots of graffiti .. They have a cool rock wall. Surrounding is a parks and Rec building, tennis courts and baseball field all busy on a Saturday.

JUMBO SUPER DUPER park and rec center.... There's so much to do and enjoy... I feel bad I don't stop by more unless there's a food truck favorite nearby. There's plenty of shade as well as wide open spaces for sun. There is a homeless population here, but they are pretty cluster in one place usually near the chess tables near the recreation center building. The park extends down a huge block and breaks up extending from Chandler to Riverside Drive all the way down Tujunga Ave alongside the 170 Fwy. A great place for families, friends, kids and everyone really. They've held some community events here... Even a small Lgbtq+ pride celebration in the past. While street parking goes fast there are some small lots if you plan out your day early. A lot of people walk their dogs and through the ball here... plenty of nature to enjoy and take in.... I haven't taken any classes at this location, but might consider signing up for activities when restrictions are fully lifted.

I passed by this Recreation Center many times since I frequent the NoHo Library and the park near by a lot. I always wondered. Well, I wonder no more. One of my 2019 resolution was to try to play tennis. My husband didn't play in years but offered to play with me and teach me a bit. So we got a couple of rockets and tried the courts here. They are nice, pretty well maintained and taken care of. Since then, I didn't become a champion by any means, but got better. Still learning, but it's a great way to get exercise outdoors for free. Some other players and nice and cool, some others are territorial, they park themselves here for the day and are cranky. But I enjoy playing. There are other courts, basketball, etc, a few picnic tables, a park for kids, small parties, walking, a playground. A swimming pool while in season next by. Yes, there are some homeless people, some incidents, some people yelling. But it comes with the territory and we know the problem goes deeper. But there are park employees who try to keep the place clean. They even made a couple of new restrooms that open automatically after a while to avoid situations and incidents. The restrooms are clean and I noticed they go and clean them regularly. I'm not saying this is the ideal park. But it's a nice outdoor area with trees and vegetation where people can jogg and play sports for free. It's wonderful for locals like me to be able to do that, I'm grateful for that. Even during these times, they keep the place opened for everyone to walk and run around. I love the local architecture, the church across, its bell that you hear hourly, it's something peaceful and serene about that while being in the middle of the city. There are birds and squirrels around. I hope the city will create more places like this one, it encourages everyone to get out there and move. Away from screens. I'm looking forward to resume my tennis playing, it's fun, I get to move outdoors, learn something new and keep up with that resolution!

Nice park. Spacious. Good sports. However very few people wearing masks during COVID, especially where people let dogs run free (off leash) on the south end and people playing baseball on the north end. About 5-10% had on masks, including spectators. Under age kids drinking, smili at the skate park and spray painting the trees with graffiti. I think 4 out of 50+ people were wearing a mask. People parking on the grass instead of the parking lot or street. This used to be a nice park but it's going down quickly.

My review is based on the park itself. I come here for my pup. There are two sides of park area. The side with the tennis courts has a baseball field that turns into extra grassy area and you'll see people relaxing or dogs playing and sometimes celebrations being set up at the tables. For dog owners, if you want to play fetch with your dog, I'd come in the early morning like before 9am. Also, frequently I see food trucks lined up here so any food bloggers or food enthusiasts I'd recommend checking the website for events. Personally I think the other side of the park is better for dogs, and you'll see more dogs in this area. I like it because there is a trail for walking, biking, or running. It's also an overall larger grass area. There is a lot of homeless people but I stay out of their way and they stay out of mine. There are tons of trees for shade and plenty of trash cans to dump your dog's poop. There are signs stating dogs must stay on their leash, but I'd say 50% of dog owners don't abide by that. I've never had an issue with any dogs off their leash, granted my dog is very friendly...but that is something to keep in mind. This side also has picnic tables, restrooms, and a "workout playground." Not sure what those are called? Ha. But you'll see people working out on bars and if that's your thing - you'll like the set up! It's not the best park, but it's certainly not the worst. My dog loves it and its nice mix up to see lots of green instead of the busy traffic we see on our routine walk around our home. On another note, to my fellow soccer players! There is room to play small field games. I've found that in the evening, the park gets super empty. It's just very dark. Still fun though!

Is it the sexiest park in LA? Not exactly. No sweeping views like Vista Hermosa, vibrant programming like Grand Park, or calming bodies of water like Echo Park Lake or Lake Balboa. Is this gonna be your top choice on a gorgeous LA Sunday afternoon and you're driving from god knows where...prolly not. But for a neighborhood park, it could be worse. Actually, it's pretty damn nice. South of Magnolia (SoMa?) you get a huge block of green space with plenty of trees and a running path on the perimeter. I've walked here and my husband and I have spent more than a few Sundays here with the dog and our books. There's a lot of shade. North of Magnolia (...NoMa?) is the library, community center, basketball courts, a skate park I've never stepped foot near, and... the pool, aka the reason for my review. I'm not sure how many people know there's a pool here, but since it's so damn hot these days I thought I'd remind everyone - there is a huge pool here. There are a couple of lanes for swimming laps, but most pool dwellers are kids, parents with kids, or childfree adults doing handstands in the deep end (me). There's also a small splash pad/water play area. For only $3.50 per adult (exact change only - children, seniors, and persons with disabilities have discounted rates) there isn't a cheaper or more effective way to beat the heat. Oh yeah, another cool thing about this park - there's always something happening. Food Truck Collective on Thursday nights, the occasional carnival, Eat See Hear brings their giant inflatable movie screen here from time to time (https://www.yelp.com/biz/eat-see-hear-los-angeles-2). The people who play tennis here are extremely rude and pretentious and seem to forget that there are homeless people living in the park; they act like they are the tennis court police at an equinox gym. There's not a safe place for an adult to do any athletic activity other than tennis or basketball here and if I could give this "recreation center" a negative 10, I would.

This is NOT an off-leash dog park, but evidently some people don't read the signs that say dogs must be on a leash. I'd love to bring my dog here, but I don't like the idea of strange dogs running up to her off-leash.

Best place ever. I play tennis a lot here is full of nice people. The only bad are the homeless people. Despite that the place is super green and friendly.

Playing tennis on the courts here is a bit of an exercise in reverse Zen Buddhism. There's the flight path from BUR directly overhead, the swirling LAPD choppers, the firehouse nearby, the homeless people arguing in front of the library, the traffic on Tujunga....but the balls bounce true and there are decent players around. Also the concrete practice wall near the basketball court is actually discolored in the center from where balls have struck it disproportionately. What is the sound of one racket swinging?

Big fan of this park. The park is very BIG and has a lot of squirrels. I come here to run and workout on the outside fitness area but the park has sooooooo much more. Some of the park features: Auditorium, baseball diamond courts (lighted/indoor), baseball diamond (lighted/outdoor), basketball courts (lighted/outdoor), childrens play area, handball courts (lighted), indoor gym, picnic tables, seasonal pool (outdoor/unheated), tennis courts (lighted). The park is also cool for people watching as Noho has some interesting peeps.

I hail from the city which is the home to the Largest Park within a City Municipality (Youngstown, Ohio: Mill Creek Park.. look it up). But when I first moved to North Hollywood I was pleasantly surprised with this large chunk of land complete with baseball fields, basketball hoops, tennis courts, the home of the Noho Rec Center, a 3 mile path for runners and joggers, grass and trees for the animals and nature lovers, and anything else a park needs. Basically, if you need to get your butt back into shape after that horrible breakup that caused you to eat nothing but donuts and ice cream for 2 weeks; then come to the Noho Park. This park is always busy whether with joggers, yoga enthusiasts, or children. Granted, it's not the type of park that has a floral landscaped maze, but sometimes that type of beauty is not as good as a natural wooded lot. The park services also works with you if you plan to have a BBQ or event on their property and are willing to block off a portion and provide extension cords for that bouncy blow-up jumpy thing that kids love. They also clean the area from any dog poop in case the owners didn't pick after them. Bottom line, this is a wonderful park in the Valley which deserves some recognition.

Great place to come for a run. Tons of open space with lots of trees so fresh air is always on hand. People are doing a variety of things. I like it here. I can turn up my volume on my i Pod, blur out my surroundings and Shadow Box without a worry. When I come back I'm usually surrounded by people doing Yoga, kids playing, grown ups playing soccer. If your not in the mood to break a sweat, good place to take a walk, play with your dog or a picnic.

Awesome park, but too much dog poop left behind by owners. Also, after 5pmish there are myriad of mean mosquitos flying around. There is nice playground for younger children, and even a baseball cage.

ALL the staff here are incredibly rude. I suggest you clean house and start over with all new staff, this might motivate the pet owners to pick up the poop.

Grew up going to this place and the park has certainly improved. They have re done the whole playground area with new obstacles and games. We love the WiFi there too. A few things that definitely effect our visits are the homeless people throughout the park. Usually you see one or two but at this park you see 10 to 15. Also the restrooms are hard to find or far away and thus the homeless people urinate in public. We actually saw a woman urinating while my baby was on the swings. This needs to be addressed. Also the park only cleaned once a week so on Saturdays so by Sunday the park is full of bottles and chip bags. But I still love this park because of the memories I have there. 4 stars

There is a brand new playground that opened in November 2015. Has a small and big section. It's a great design and my 2 yo son loves it. Has lots of shade and no sand.

Two more things you should know about this park... 1) If you're gonna run/walk/whatever on the path, don't wear your brand new running shoes...they'll get super dirty! 2) The ratio of creepy guys to hot guys is pretty even :) It's especially nice when you spot the latter running or playing soccer or doing something else that's endearingly outdoorsy...

Scout's Honor. North Hollywood Park has come a long way the last decade or so. What once was a crime filled patch of grass located in North Hollywood proper has turned a new leaf and become a vital community asset. What once was a meeting spot for many of the local gangs is now a clean, vibrant and family friendly treasure for all the local residents. I've seen the changes and I've seen the improvements. All I can say is that North Hollywood Park is now, truly, a local gem. For most people the important aspects of a community park are cleanliness and safety. I'm here to tell you, you won't be disappointed. The park is litter free for the most part and it's kept this way with help from the trashcans that dot the track that circles the park. I guess I'd be remiss if I also didn't mention the city and the great job they do in helping to keep the trashcans from overflowing. Amenities are plentiful as there are well-kept restrooms located on the North side of the park as well as a workout area with various exercise fixtures. On any day of the week you can find people doing sit ups, push ups, chin ups, etc. after taking a warm up run around the track. The dirt track itself is what most people that visit the park use. It completely circles the park on all sides and is also well-maintained. Recently, a local Eagle Scout decided to measure out mile increments (3 miles total) on a map of the park and put this map on the corner of the park at Magnolia Blvd. and Tujunga Avenue. For a runner, like myself, this kind act was immensely appreciated. In addition, the city recently added solar powered lights that light the track near the back of the park, where it can get kind of dark as the sun sets. Another valued act that impacts the park in a positive fashion. Our tax dollars at work...in "green" fashion. While most of the BBQ fixtures are located across Magnolia Blvd. (North Hollywood Library side) where the park continues, there is no reason why you can't bring your own grill to the park and get your BBQ on. There is ample space and and all sorts of shade to help you make that perfect summer day last well into the evening. North Hollywood Park has been through a lot and in it's latest incarnation, it's giving back to the local community. I'm just happy to live near it.

I've lived next to this park (the south side) for years and walk my dog and run here daily. It's a great place for dog socialization, as pups of all shapes and sizes come here and almost all are friendly. I've also made several new dog-owner friends who often join Buford, P-Nut and I on our walks. Us locals generally try to keep the park clean by picking up trash as we go, so the grass is generally clean. Even when it gets crowded, there is still plenty of room to do whatever you came for. And bring peanuts. The squirrels will be appreciative. The downside is there are a few homeless that sleep at the park, but that is true of almost any park in America. But on the plus side, if you go run on a Saturday afternoon, you will get to pass by soccer, football and ultimate frisbee games, as well as live-action Warcraft reenactments, fitness boot camps and a guy practicing with a whip (seriously). Oh, and for those asking, the loop around the park is .95 of a mile, from Magnolia to the freeway on-ramp fence. I do three laps then run the nearest straightaway and it ends up being three miles total.

Richard C. (posting date 9/21/09) couldn't have said it better. I've been going to the park for my evening walks. I never felt like it was a bad place. Sure there are homeless people on the library side, but they don't say anything. Everyone is just trying to live another day. As for the park, I walk the tracks almost every day. I use to play kickball last year behind the tennis court area, I love the library. When I get tired of the track, I walk on the other side (library side) all the way back to the hockey area. It's great to see the tax dollars at work. YAY to summer days 2010!

What a great park for a kick back and relax. You have it all. Vast areas to run. Some areas to go swimming. Soccer, open bathrooms that aren't entirely scary.. just mildly so. Lots of benches to get your small BBQ grilling on. But I have to wonder what's up with separating the park with the divide of Magnolia Blvd. It really makes for a scary game of frogger to get to the other side. Yes, sure. I could walk to the cross walk. But that would take too much effort. I'm pretty sure they should have just dropped one side of the park. It's virtually impossible to find anyone you're meeting in this park given the two halves that make this place up. You have to ask each other if you're on the north or south side of the park and then of course you have friends who don't even know what way is north or south. Yeah, they're really keepers on your friends list. There's typically plenty of parking and again, you can't beat the open field and green area that this park has going for itself. You can really do just about anything here. And while I'm not sure what the health risk of playing in a park next to a high way is, I'm sure it's negated by the fact that you're actually outside and not playing Xbox or PS3.

There was a carnival her today. Had some funnel cake. It was empty when I went. There were more workers then visitors. The funnel cake station wasn't ready, since no one was there, their oil cooker was good. It took 15 minutes to get it. My quest for chocolate bacon continues. I'll try a county fair next.

If you want to put your child in team sports this is not the place to do it ! North Hollywood Recreation Center staff is incompetent I am seeing now ! ! I was charged $90 dollars for her to play baseball this year ! They have you order the sizes for uniforms ! DID ANY OF US GET THE SIZES WE ORDERED ON THE TEAM....NO.....DID WE GET THE TEAM NAME PUT ON THE FRONT OF THE SHIRTS NO ! The front of the shirts say North Hollywod Baseball ! What the hell is that ! No team name on them either ! My daughter does not fit in her baseball pants or her baseball shirt ! They didn't have kids XL so we ordered her Adult Small ! We are 2 month in & have no scheduled ! The disorganization on this park staff is unreal ! So as I said don't pay your hard earned money for nothing ! I'm now sorry I ever brought her to play her baseball here !

I run here a lot, come at least 3-4 times a week. Each lap around the park is a little under a mile. great park for a workout, lots of shade, water fountains available through out and one restroom.

Well, been here twice last week on Tuesday and Thursday. I like this park. Good place to walk my girlfriends dogs. I found this place on yelp and so far no problems for me despite the other reviews. But I can imagine like the other reviews on the weekends it can be really crowded. If your like me that have week days off, this is the place to go during that time. LA is a big town compare to were I live in the OC Anaheim, so expect more people at this park even on weekdays. On weekends, forget it. You have to get there early to get parking unless you love near the area and can walk there. The park is 3.7 miles of walking. Across the street is the skate park, rec center and pool. It's next to 170 freeway, but it does not bother me at all.

I don't live too far from this park and find it great for running/walking. The large path in the portion south of Magnolia offers a good long relaxing course. I run/walk it at least weekly and there are plenty of others from all generations, shapes, sizes and nationalities also on the path. I also use RunKeeper on my iPhone so I know my pace and distance. I probably wouldn't be caught dead here after sundown but during the day it's nice.

One of my favorite parks, spacious with a lot of trees. There's a rec center, library, tennis court, handball court, basketball court, baseball diamond, soccer field, playground, pool, picnic tables & benches. There's also a path so you can walk or jog around the park. I heard there's a skate park here, but I haven't seen it yet. Great spot for the NoHo community!

Love the gym! ! My son plays basketball (league ) and we love it here!! The guy named Kevin who is in charge of the basketball league is always so nice and helpful! Thank youuu!!

It's right across the street from my house. Fix the grass! Grow some more, because it's either too long or there are patches of dirt and sinkholes.

I love this park. I try to play softball here whenever I can but sadly have yet to found a consistent coed league to join. Nice tennis courts, a relatively nice running track, and some sketchy basketball and handball courts. And there's lots of open space for people to play soccer, ultimate frisbee, bocce ball, or any other gay sport you might desire. There's even a hockey rink in the back with basketball hoops. Also I hear there might be something for skateboarders pretty soon.

A large park, North Hollywood is spoiled with such a big park. All fun and sun with friendly people jogging, playing with their dogs, doing yoga, and ultimate frisbee. This park, though no dog park, is big enough to allow every person there to have their own plot of land (well at least 20 x 20 area. With lost of trees I found solitude under one of their many branches, and while listening to my ipod I hadn't realized how much time had past. Great place to spend a couple hours with friends and family, or just man's best friend. Now only if they had more benches and modern art I'd tell all of my parkour friends to check this place out. Enjoy!

I like this park bc it is big enough for lots of ppl. I started a boot camp here and really enjoy this park. The parking kind of stinks, but once you figure out where there are spaces it is easy greasey... Question: Does anyone have information about the distance around the different trails and all? I can't find anything!!

For a place where a ton of different people go every weekend, this place is great. It's large and never feels crowded, even considering how many people are there. I'm always guaranteed my very own shaded tree somewhere in the park. Tons of amenities. Dirt tracks for runners that go around and through the park, which is often well used and well maintained. I've used it myself. It's approx. 3 miles. Many different activities going on at once -- I've seen people doing sports activities I didn't even realize existed. Props to the guy trying to take the yoga class without falling over. Soccer is clearly not allowed according to the signs, but there are always at least two different games going on. Doesn't bother me, but you can spot the favorite soccer areas by the sections that have the dead grass. Yes, we bring our dogs here. Our dogs have the right to enjoy it too. No one wants to stay cooped up in an apartment. Most people who take their dogs off leash (technically not allowed) keep a very close eye on their dog. There are so many trashcans here that it's actually rare to find unmentionable presents or trash anywhere. This park is nowhere near dog park dirty, and I don't see it turning into that. It's obvious this park is respected by the community. Just don't expect to find parking on the street without having to walk on the weekends. On a final note, the squirrels are not afraid of you. Guard your picnic lunch.

Pretty small but it was alright I went there and didn't really like it but in my opinion I think Sheldon is way better

Ah NoHo Park... Love running here! Between sunrise and sunset, I am sure you will enjoy your time here. There areas for different types of event and for different age groups. Since LA is blessed and cursed with summer weather, Its best not to run a lot during the summer. The weather during that time can be harmful, so make sure you check the weather report before you go out for a run. Besides running, there is enough grass to play football, soccer, volleyball and any other sport. Its safe to play and lots of shade. There is even areas to sit and bbq, have picnic have a kids birthday party. So, bring your ipod, sunscreen, some old running shoes and have a good time.

This "park" is one of the worst I have come across thus far. First of all it is surrounded by a highway and three heavily traveled streets so you suck in massive amounts of car exaust as you are trying to exercise. It is nothing more than an uneven dirt trail that is full of gross fat man that stare and suck their teeth at you as you run/walk by. Also, lots of homeless people that urinate on the ground so you get to breathe in the smell of urine along with the pollution. I honestly cannot understand how this park could get 5 stars? I guess it is all a matter of what you are accustomed to.

This park has a lot of activities, but what is more interesting to me the park itself. It's very big, with lots of trees, fields, trails for walking/running/cycling. Here is a lot of dogs with their owners and squirrels. Many people are resting on the grass, reading books. It's pleasant to be here.

Big park, lots of dogs, squirrels, a playground, dirt paths to walk, and places to picnic. You're practically under the 101, though, so it's a bit noisy.

I'm giving a star to the pool area. I went in with 3 kids, paid the fee, got inside. As soon as we got in one person came up and asked my kids to take floaties off, even though no one said anything about them at the reception desk. We were there for 1 hour when another lifeguard comes up and asks me about ages of my kids( this was 3rd time btw). When he found out that all the kids were under 6, he asked me to leave because there should be 1 adult per child. Now after 1 hour of play I had to get the kids and rush them out because people who took out money didn't tell us that rule. They did give me my money back but kids were crying and I had to come up with other activities for them to do. I wish all the stuff knew the rules before they let people in.

can't say anything too bad about this park. it's our park. go noho! i play in two softball leagues here, thursday and friday nights. it'd be nice if they kept the fields in better condition. but the league fees were dirt cheap for a relatively long season, so i shouldn't bitch about it. the pool is great. plenty of tennis courts, sign up for good classes. the outside basketball courts, meh. no matter what kicks you were, the concrete is mad slippery, so be careful with that when you're in the middle of a fast break. i need not mention the library. after the renovations, it's pretty damn decent. check it out. south of magnolia, you got the running/jogging/walking track. it's a great little trek. when i don't feel like driving out to balboa park, this is a great substitute. and there's a 7-11 across the street in case you forgot your water. every now and then a fair comes through. that's fun for the kiddies. enjoy the noho outdoors!

I tried to bring my 3 kids here to play at the splash pad and was turned away because they have a rule that one adult must be present for EACH KID. Even if my husband and I were both there we would still not be considered sufficient supervision for our kids to play on the zero depth patio sprinklers. This is an absurd over abundance of caution that assumes children are in a constant state of mortal peril. I supervise my kids alone everyday in our own pool without ever an emergency. My two older kids know how to swim. This is a zero depth patio. There are life guards nearby. Still my family will never be welcome here because we have 3 kids and it's just too risky if an adult can't be within arms reach of each child at every second. Helicopter parenting is ruining children and here it's been codified in to official policy. It's ridiculous. By this logic I should ever let my kids out to splash in rain puddles without a full coast guard medical rescue team standing by. What a joke.

I totally agree with stephanie, she took all the words right out of my mouth. They often have festivals here too on some weekends. the park is really clean and you can run into noho friends!

This is the perfect place for a power walk or running. No one bothers you & it is a pleasant spot. A nice oval dirt trail/path with lots of grass & trees in the middle. It is almost a mile all the way around...so a few spins around & your done. Yes...the 170 Frwy is right there...but it is no big deal because you can't really see it because of the grass & trees.
