Not the usual Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere, particular flavors. Good menu. Having a patio is a plus. Norhing to regret.

Spicy Rigatoni Vodka here at North Italia is probably the best pasta 🍝 I've ever had in my entire life, period. As soon as I had my first bite, I was nodding my head intuitively, and the waiter walked by and said to me: "I told you 😋", and seriously, he did recommend this dish first thing when I asked for his advice. Other than the pasta, the Cappuccino and Italian Farm salad are both awesome 👍 North Italia is now the pocket list of mine.

Went for the first time last night with friends, atmosphere is lively and packed!! Reservation highly recommended. Service was good, did take a few minutes before anyone came over to our table but I could see why. Food: took awhile for the truffle garlic bread to come out but when it did it was yummy. I ordered the braised short rib and it was succulent and plated well. It was on the Colleen side but I didn't want to send it back, I still ate it. My friends enjoyed "The Pig" pizza which is a really good size, enough to share or take home. I also had the seasonal butter cake which melted like butter.. Yummy. Our bull came to about $162, suggested tipping a bit high but I gave what I felt. The restroom was super clean. Perfect photo op Overall, 4/5 and I will return.

I had the chance to dine recently with a large group, and while the overall experience was really good, there were a few bumps along the way. Let’s start with the highlights: the drinks were outstanding—truly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Creative, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced, they set a great tone for the evening. The fish was another standout. It was fresh, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavor. Everyone at the table who ordered seafood had nothing but praise. It’s clear the kitchen knows what it’s doing when it comes to execution and flavor. However, because we were a large party, the service ended up being noticeably slow. We expected a bit of a wait, but at times it felt like things came to a halt. A couple of items I specifically asked for never arrived, which was a little frustrating. I understand it can be tough managing big groups, but the service hiccups did impact the overall flow of the meal. That said, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting—cozy but upscale, with a great vibe for both casual and special occasions. Despite the slower service, the quality of the food and drinks made it a memorable evening. I’d definitely return, perhaps with a smaller group next time to get a smoother experience.

I’ve been to North Italia a few times and it’s always consistent — nothing fancy, but never disappointing. The service is genuinely warm and friendly, and the ambiance makes it a nice spot for a casual lunch or date night. Vegetarian options are a bit limited, especially if you’re trying to avoid heavy carb dishes. I had a salad for lunch one time — fresh and flavorful, though the dressing was overpowering. Next time I’ll definitely ask for it on the side. Other dishes - handmade pasta was soft and tasty, and the zucchini chips were a standout — they actually made me like zucchini! Overall, it’s a good, reliable choice if you know what to order and customize a bit.

The food was great, but they have increased their prices extremely. Taking an opportunity to cash in on tarrifs that don't affect them. $23 for a glass of wine, and then they give you about 2 ounces or less.

I booked for a table of 10 for a dinner event for 7pm on a Wednesday night. We arrived right on time and were told that our table wasn’t ready, so 10 people are waiting outside in the “LA cold” (they did have a patio heater we crowded around) after about 5 minutes of waiting they offered us the patio (which was not made up for a table of 10) I declined as we wanted to sit inside. They told us the table before wasn’t finished. Then after 15 minutes I checked again and a different server presumably a manager asked me again if I wanted the patio, I said no. Then asked with snarkily if I had put specifically on my booking that I wanted inside. I said no. I explained that if we were to be sat outside then the table would have already been set up for 10 and we’ve already been waiting. By 720pm we were finally sat at our table. Had the actual table server not been an awesome guy with a great sense of humor and service this could have been a much worse review. He redeemed our evening with great wine advice and an attentive demeanor. We ordered shared appetizers for the table. Then each person order pasta or pizza. We had 2 bottles of wine and some individual drinks. The atmosphere is good, it’s usually busy so I’d book to not disappoint. The food is fresh and delicious and generous portion sizes for the price. I thought this spot was convenient, could book without a deposit for a large group and was a little disappointed. Would have been 5 stars without the issues with the table and how the manager treated us with a tone of it was my fault. Otherwise the food is worth it! $720 for 10 people to eat and then $150 for tip

From start to finish, the service and food and cocktails were outstanding. Our server J.J. is a professional, his recommendation’s were spot on. The ambiance is lively, you could feel all the great energy from all the people enjoying themselves. This was our first visit here, and hopefully many more in the future.

The moment the Sicilian meatballs arrived, time itself seemed to pause. Two perfectly spherical warriors sat in a pool of crimson sauce, their surfaces glistening under the restaurant's warm light. The first bite triggered an explosion of flavor--the tender beef and pork melding together in a dance of herbs and spices. The sauce, rich with San Marzano tomatoes, wrapped around my tongue like a warm embrace. My eyes widened as waves of savory bliss radiated through my body. This... this is what Italian grandmothers dream about! Then came the beef carpaccio, paper-thin slices arranged like rose petals on the plate. The raw beef, so delicate it practically dissolved on contact, released a clean, mineral sweetness. The arugula added a peppery kick while the shaved parmesan delivered sharp, crystalline notes. Each element harmonized perfectly--a symphony of textures and tastes that left me momentarily breathless. But nothing prepared me for the braised short rib pappardelle. The fork pierced through the meat like butter, and when that first bite hit--HEAVEN! The beef, so tender it had transcended its physical form, released deep, wine-dark flavors that had been coaxed out through hours of patient braising. The wide ribbons of pappardelle caught every drop of that luxurious sauce, each strand a vehicle for pure umami ecstasy. The lump crab and shrimp cavatelli arrived next, a seafood treasure chest. Sweet crab meat and plump shrimp nestled in the ridged pasta shells, bathed in a delicate sauce that tasted of the ocean's finest offerings. The sweetness of the shellfish, the subtle garlic notes--it was elegance incarnate. Finally, the gingerbread butter cake and tiramisu delivered the knockout blow. The cake's warm spices and buttery richness melted into blissful comfort, while the tiramisu's layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream created a coffee-kissed cloud of pure joy.

This review reflects our dining experience on Christmas Eve. Our family frequents this location because it is typically very family-friendly, and this was the second consecutive year we chose to spend our Christmas Eve here. Unfortunately, this year's experience fell far short of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were met by a hostess whose demeanor was unwelcoming and curt. She appeared unsympathetic and dismissive, particularly when we inquired about the extended wait time beyond what we had been quoted. With small children becoming restless, a bit of understanding would have gone a long way. This interaction was disappointing, as it was not representative of the hospitality we have experienced from the hostess team in the past. Once seated, our server continued the same tone. She was cold throughout the meal and did not acknowledge the holiday or offer even basic warmth or friendliness. While this alone was disappointing, the most troubling moment occurred toward the end of our visit when our server made a comment to my three-year-old daughter that left her visibly upset. On the drive home, my daughter repeatedly told me, "Mommy, that lady was mean to me," and she remained distressed even at bedtime. Whatever was said affected her deeply and overshadowed what should have been a joyful family evening. Given how often families with young children dine at this location, it is concerning to encounter staff behavior that leaves a child feeling hurt and saddened--especially on Christmas Eve. As a result of this experience, I cannot see our family, or our family friends, feeling comfortable returning to this location in the future.

I am writing to formally report a deeply troubling and humiliating experience I had on the evening of December 28, 2025, at the North Italia location in El Segundo. The conduct of your restaurant manager, Martin Villalobos, was aggressive, demeaning, and discriminatory, and it has left me shaken and fearful of returning to an establishment I have frequented for years. I am a long-time local customer and regular patron of this location. That evening, I ordered my usual meal which I have ordered many times and was seated at the bar, where I always feel comfortable and secure. When my spaghetti dish was delivered, the bartender noticed the sauce was obviously watery and thin and advised me not to eat it. She voluntarily removed the dish on my behalf. I did not complain nor request that the food be sent back. A female manager later approached me, explained that the issue may have been caused by the prep team, and acknowledged the preparation error. At no point was I rude, disruptive, or inappropriate. Shortly afterward, Mr. Villalobos approached me from behind and forcefully placed his hands on me to get my attention. This physical contact was aggressive, unwanted, and alarming. I was immediately offended and felt unsafe. Then in front of the other customers, he abruptly stated that I would not be served and I need to "get out" and ordered me to leave the restaurant. His tone was hostile and humiliating. He then forcefully tossed a takeout container toward me to pack my food and instructed me to leave. When I asked for his business card, he again threw it onto the table rather than handing it to me. His physical actions toward me were intimidating and entirely unacceptable. I was humiliated, shaken, and reduced to tears. The couples seated on both sides of me were visibly disturbed by his behavior and left the restaurant as a result. I have never experienced treatment of this nature in any restaurant, let alone one I have loyally supported for years. I am an African American woman, and I cannot ignore the discriminatory nature of this encounter. I was treated with unnecessary hostility, physical intimidation, and disrespect over an issue caused by your staff--not by me. I am now genuinely afraid to return to this location due to how unsafe and targeted I felt. I respectfully ask whether it is your policy to expel customers when a dish is sent back - particularly when the staff acknowledges a preparation error. At no time was I offered an alternative dish or a resolution--only aggression and expulsion. This incident has deeply affected me. I request a formal investigation into Mr. Villalobos' conduct and a response outlining how this matter will be addressed. I would also appreciate guidance on how North Italia intends to ensure that all guests are treated with dignity, respect, and safety going forward.

It's very uneventful... and honestly not worth the cost for the food and experience. Two pasta dishes one appetizer and 2 sodas (nothing alcoholic)... translated to a 6 figures tab. Food was not bad, but there was no wow factor to the dishes we ordered. Service was not bad, but it wasn't good. Server was polite and nice, but she was definitely not engaged and it was hard to get her attention. We had a nice table by the see-through kitchen glass.

I've been here a couple of times. The first time I had the bolognese, which was delicious. I also had the white truffle garlic bread. Also delicious. Everything is very fresh. The staff is very friendly and well versed on all of the menu options. The second time I went at lunch. It was crowded, but we were seated quickly. I opted for heirloom breath & chicken salad and of course the garlic bread again. I had it with ranch instead of the vinaigrette. Good choice! This place is pricey for lunch. So I wouldn't go often, but it's great for an occasional treat.

My husband and I had dinner last night at North Italia at The Point in El Segundo to celebrate his birthday. We've dined there numerous times in the past and booked thru Open Table. We started with cocktails and I enjoyed Rudolf's Replacement, a specialty holiday cocktail with tequila. I liked it so much that I ordered a second. Mussels as an appetizer were delicious. It can be hit or miss but they nailed it last night with the garlic wine sauce and toasted sourdough bread. I ordered the branzino and asked for pasta instead of potatoes. The branzino was a little overcooked, but it was a generous portion. My husband's steak, which he ordered medium rare came out medium well. They replaced it with a medium rare steak and he enjoyed it. Unfortunately I was done with my meal when his came out. They were kind enough to provide him with some truffle bread and soup while he waited for his steak. He chose a sundae for his dessert and it was decadent with different ice creams, whipped cream, sides of different toppings. There was a gift card promo with buy $100, get $20 to spend during a future limited period. I didn't get any because I let a previous $20 promo card expire and they wouldn't accept it after the date. We had a nice meal with great service from our server.

North Italia in El Segundo is one of those restaurants you visit once... and immediately start planning your next trip back. The location alone is perfect (just a short drive from the beach) so it already feels like the ideal spot for a relaxed date night, family dinner, or weekend treat. Now the food? Elite. The pizzas are absolutely amazing: perfectly blistered crust, high-quality toppings, and that balance of flavor that makes each slice hit like it was crafted by someone's Italian nonna. But the real star of the night for me is always the chicken pesto pasta. I don't know what kind of magic they put in that pesto, but it's bright, fresh, creamy, and just ridiculously satisfying. Hands down my favorite dish on the menu. Service is friendly, the vibes are modern and warm, and the whole experience feels like a step above your average Italian spot. If you're in the El Segundo area or hanging around the beach, definitely give North Italia a try. You won't regret it.

I had an excellent lunch with my team. My manager really treated us nice. Amazing appetizers. Even better lunch specials that were generous: a full main dish with a side. The lovely Jean was not only the bartender, she also provided outstanding service to our party. Located in the beautiful The Point plaza in El Segundo, worth a return visit.

Decided to come here in efforts to beat LA traffic and thankfully we managed to get seated immediately because of my reservation. Based off the impressions from other recent reviews, I heard the talk of the town was the pizza so me and my friend decided to order a Neapolitan pizza with meatball to split. I additionally ordered a chicken parmesan, though with white sauce as opposed to the normal red sauce. This was recommended by our server as I gave him my preferences, to which he happily gave some nice suggestions on the menu! It did not take long to receive our meals either despite how busy it was. We first got our pizza and after trying it, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! Normally, I do not find that ricotta compliments pizza that much. However, all the components of this pizza mixed very well together, and each bite was just so rich with flavor. The only downside with this pizza was how greasy the center was, but me and my friend managed. Afterwards, the chicken parm arrived and I dug into the chicken first. As expected, it was seasoned very well and was very juicy! The pasta on the other hand was not that amazing even though the texture of the pasta was perfect al dente in my opinion. The sauce reminded me of the classico white alfredo sauce in a jar, which brought me back to childhood. Nevertheless, it was a sauce that I did not enjoy as much as everything else. In terms of prices, most of the items are on the higher end compared to other restaurants I have had but nothing too unjustified. Overall, this is definitely a place I can remember for its pizza and I am open to trying other pizzas like their margherita in the future!

The food is always good and never disappoints, but there were a few issues today. It felt like they were short-staffed, as taking our order was slow, and even though our drinks were ready, they were brought to us quite late. What bothered me most was that our plates were cleared without being asked, even though there was still food left.

Lunch for 4, ordered 3 pizzas and some pasta. Staff was friendly and attentive, food came fairly quickly, was hot and fresh. Had the pig pizza, a chicken pizza and a spice sausage pizza. Each pizza is good for 1 if you are hungry or 2 if you have a lighter appetite. Indoor or outdoor seating. Lunch for 4 with tax and tip was about $150.00.

Great atmosphere especially if you want to have a decent italian dinner and watch a game at the same time. Plenty of seats where you can see the two televisions at the bar. The price range is 30 dollars / dish, so I had my bar pretty high for the food. The food was decent, but not as nice as Eataly or some of the top tier Italian restaurants. I'd come if I was in the area for convenience, but wouldn't come all the way here to eat at this restaurant. The roasted salmon was my favorite, especially the pest pasta that came with it. Salmon was tender, love the combo with pasta on the side which really fills you up. The spicy rigatoni was decent, but did not feel very special. It was spicy, had pieces of sausage in it, with the al dante pasta. For the price, I expected a bit more than just a regular rigatoni pasta with meat. The mushroom pizza had pretty thick crust that I wouldnt expect from traditional Italian restaurants. I also wish there were more mushrooms.

Gosh, I love Italian food and this North Italia is very quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Lots of interior seating with a chill, inviting ambiance. Great for date nights, groups, or solo at the bar. There can be quite a crowd in here, so reservations are recommended and don't mind the noise. Portions are on the larger side and good to share. Prices are a bit on the higher end, which feels reasonable for the quality and location. I recommend their pasta and pizza options, and the Prosciutto Bruschetta. Authentic, hearty and delicious. I highly recommend the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni! Great service, plenty of local parking, and lots of space to walk around before and after.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-tier. The quality of the food was exceptional every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The pastas were perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich without being heavy, and the appetizers had a great balance of flavor and creativity. The service was just as impressive. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being overbearing. They guided us through the menu with great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The presentation of each dish was beautiful thoughtfully plated and restaurant-level stunning. You can tell there's pride behind the kitchen doors. Whether you're out for a date night, dinner with friends, or just want to treat yourself, North Italia El Segundo is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back. It can get pretty busy during weekends so I recommend preplanning and making a reservation.

This restaurant choice was for girls night out. Reservations were made for 6:30p. We were seated right away. Nice little round table for 5. A little loud and difficult to hear the server as well as your own party, I ordered the ricotta cavetelli. My food was served to me warm and didn't look at all like the menu picture . I admit it was still good and I ate it. I most likely will not be returning. 3 stars for the loud music and warm food.

I think I've officially been to most or all of the SoCal locations for North Italia, but it was my first time at my local one in El Segundo. The service was great, but the food was hit or miss (which tends to be the case with North Italia). After several experiences at various locations, I think I can safely say that their pastas are typically not that great. However, the pizzas are always well made, and the Truffle bread is usually pretty amazing! The ambiance is usually nice too. Below is everything I tried: 5/5 - White Truffle Garlic Bread: perfectly made, fluffy, flavorful, and overall delicious! My favorite appetizer here for a reason, haha. 4.5/5 - Margherita Pizza (+ Tie Dye sauce combo): simple, but still has a wonderful combination of flavors thanks to the Tie Dye sauce add ons and their always fantastic crust. 4/5 - Spicy Rigatoni Vodka: honestly my favorite pasta of theirs that I've tired so far, but still a step or two below some of the best in LA (like those at Jame or Donna's). 4/5 - Sicilian Margarita: el mayor reposado, grand marnier, montenegro, fresh citrus. Tasty and refreshing! 3.5/5 - Brookie Sunday: the brownie/cookie part just wasn't that great, but the dish was still enjoyable because of the wonderful ice cream and toppings, but they ideally shouldn't be the star of the dish. 3/5 - Bolognese (House Specialty): for their house specialty pasta this was quite disappointing, to quote my cousin: "This just tastes like a pasta I would make at home, and I'm no chef". It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable or very flavorful. I would definitely skip this dish. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 3.5/5 Overall: 4/5

First time - went to El Segundo location. Excellent interior and vibe. Great service with suggested and accurate order recommendations. Had the bolognese pasta and pizza to share. Really good. We will be back.

North italia is one of my all time favorite chain restaurants for Italian food. The chicken parm is by far the best thing to me on the menu. Of course it's LA so the drinks are absolutely insane prices..other than that it's a must try

My family and I've patronized NI for over 7 years. We celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday at NI December 17. I've eaten the same dish every time I've patronize the restaurant. Yesterday I ordered the Salmon the serving size of the Salmon was no bigger than a chicken strip . The portion size was disturbing half the original size. I ordered pasta when I ordered my food . I received the pasta when my food was finished. I left still hungry after spending $35 dollars The tip started at 22% (wow). I'm not sure ill be back

Okay, let me start off by saying this establishment is always busy so I had to try it out! I went on a date and my goodness. Seated promptly, the service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and even gave recommendations on wine + entrees. I got the squid ink pasta and my date got the salmon entree. We both had a glass of wine , and enjoyed one another's company for a couple hours . I will be back and 100% will recommend this place for some fresh pasta ! P.S. the parking is free and it's in abundance.

Food was excellent, service was great. Would recommend and would come back again. Cocktails were excellent as well. Try the Breakfast Mule.

Dined here with friends the other week for the first time. It was super busy with customers and servers all over the place. Noise level was moderate and everyone looked like they were having a good time. Service was great and I was glad we got a table near the patio area so it wasn't too loud. I had the grilled Branzino with roasted fennel, brussels sprout, broccolini, fingerling potato, cipollini, lemon caper butter. It was fantastic and I ate it all!!! My friends had Italian dishes and they really enjoyed them. I live in Long Beach so I am going to check out their Cerritos location since it is closer. All in all a very positive experience!!

3.5. The dining room is lovely and we were seated in a cozy corner booth. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. When I asked about vegan options, the waiter said an item could be modified. My companions said his pizza was good. My pasta dish was ok. Lacked seasoning but was full of veggies. I don't think it was a good value.

Overall this is a solid restaurant! We come here a lot for work dinners and celebrations and service is always great, the food is consistently good, and overall enjoy coming here. Some of my favorite dishes are the chicken Parmesan (love that it comes with rigatoni Alfredo that perfectly compliments the red sauce on the chicken parm) and also really enjoy the grilled bread and olive oil, the zucca chips and strozzapreti. The bambolini is also delicious but a lot of dessert for 2 people so I'd definitely recommend sharing with a larger group.

Stephanie (pictured) was our CSA (Customer Service All-Star) at this experience here today. Like so many of her co-workers here, her service was too tier and is definitely an asset to this location and brand overall. My guest and I each ordered a half of the Lasagna Soup along with the tried and true pig pizza-but this time with extra cheese. As the pictures with no doubt attest to, all the selections were simply Delicious. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger once famously said, "I'll be back"!

Love! Love sitting on the patio. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is always to die for! Meatballs with polenta Tomatoes and burrata Carpaccio Little Gem Caesar Chicken Parm Short rib marsala - all delicious!! And don't forget the tiramisu! It's incredible

This location is our top choice for dinner dates and family dinners We are here almost once a week! Out of all the times we have been here, tonight we experienced the BEST SERVICE EVER! If you stop by ask for YESID! OMG! This young man should be training everyone on great service work ethic and dedication to the customer! Hope the manager at this establishment takes notice of this amazing young man!

Decided to stop in for an early dinner before a concert at Intuit Dome. Everyone working was super friendly. We decided to sit outside because they really pump that air conditioning inside and I didn't have a sweatshirt. The meatballs and polenta were so good I would order those again and again. The white truffle garlic bread, while delicious, I had to stop eating knowing I was going to breathe garlic fire and not being able to brush my teeth. My friend got the bolognese and liked it a lot. I got the spicy vodka rigatoni and it was average, nothing to write home about. Overall though I would come back and try other menu items

Waited over an hour for our food everyone that sat down after us was served waiter came over and said the chef put our order at the bottom of the pile and they're going to start our order now after everyone has already gotten their food Yes, we talk to a manager he comped our 2 drinks for the $38 and gave us $100 gift card to come back. I wish I could say this was a one time isolated occurrence But... this was the second time this happened the first time was in Torrance. Waitress was nice. Food took way too long. waitress on her own brought the manager to explain the delay. Good luck, Cheesecake Factory with reaching your goal of 200 store expansion. Sincerely, X shareholder. It was one of those nights. Rolled into the point and was prepared to start stalking people as they were walking back to their cars. As we were coming to the end of an isle a spot opened right up front. Weren't sure where we were going to eat but landed on North Italia. Scored again. We were seated immediately upon entering on a Friday night no less. Service was great, the white truffle bread was phenomenal but unfortunately things dropped off on the meal. My 1st bite of chicken scarprielo was very flavorful but the chicken was tough as rubber. Not sure how it is prepared but the texture was like that thanksgiving turkey that was dried out because it was overcooked. Otherwise I would have given them a 5. Buon Appettito!

A colleague took us to NI for lunch . Very large Italian med scale venue. Nice service and cool decor . I ordered a chicken Caesar which was quite good while they ordered pizzas which they were very happy with . As NY people the standard for Italian is quite higher but this place is really good ! Highly suggested

The restaurant has indoor/outdoor seating. Lots of space and great for one or a party. It was clean and well organized. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. She was able to multitask very well. The food was good. My dad and I shared a pizza and was more than plenty for us. The wine was good and crisp; went well with the pizza.

As a birthday gift, my homegirl treated me to lunch at North Italia. Had a great server! He was attentive. Suggested recommendations and had a WHY he recommended that menu item. He even participated in small talk with us. When the service is excellent, the food is even better. Let's jump right into review. What did I have? BOLOGNESE (HOUSE SPECIALTY) - $26 - traditional meat sauce, pappardelle, grana padano, wild oregano, evoo - Absolutely delicious! ITALIAN MEATBALLS - $18 creamy polenta, rustic marinara, grana padano- They are large meatballs. A meal in itself. Absolutely delicious and filling. BROOKIE SUNDAE - $13 - pistachio, chocolate & strawberry gelato, dark chocolate, banana, strawberry, pecan, chocolate pearls- It was ok. I was overly impressed. Good options.Acquired taste. Ya kno' what I mean (smile). CITRUS OLIVE OIL CAKE - $13 pear compote, orange cardamom curd, mint - My homegirl said it was good. Lol. I didn't try it. It looked very appetizing. Pros 1. Great location with indoor and outdoor seating. 2. Our server was exceptional. 3. Issa vibe...not all restaurants have positive engery, but North Italia has good vibes. 4. I don't drink and they have Zero Proof drink options, very cuuuttteee. Cons 1. North Italia is located in a shopping center and parking can be a challenge. Definitely be prepared for a short walk during busy times. Although this is my first time writing a review; I have been to this location several times. I haven't always been met with exceptional customer service, especially by the host/hostess - rude and unfriendly are better word choices. Since the poor customer attention has been my interaction with the front house staff, I have returned and will pop back off when I met with the attitude from front staff. I will say on this most recent visit, everyone was pleasant. I hope that consistency remains among all employees. If you want some good Italian food - stop by. Order the house specialty, the bolognese pasta and a glass of wine, in my situation, a zero proof mocktail. Pull up neighbors. ** some photos are of what my homegirl ordered. I really enjoyed the pizza I got, the prosciutto. The fig, goat cheese and prosciutto all complemented each other very well. The crust, however, was less than ideal, about half of it was burnt. That was especially disappointing because the non-burnt crust was so tasty! We also got the chefs board which was pretty good, and definitely aesthetically pleasing. The ambiance was good, although we found it to be quite chilly inside. Apparently they don't have control over the thermostat in the building, so they are powerless to adjust the temperature. No big deal though. It was a little noisy but nothing terrible. Server was very nice and attentive.

Been coming to this location for over 10 years now and it's gone through so many changes including an owner change from private to cheesecake factories parent company. Through the years food has always been amazing, service ha been hit and miss but most of the time being regulars has helped with finding specific servers that went up and beyond to make the visit exceptional. The Short Rib variants of dishes have always been good. From the short rib radiatori which has gone through so many variants with the latest being still good but no longer do they have that amazing of of a kind horseradish based pasta sauce. The dinner version of the rib no longer has the polenta version but of one with creamy mushrooms, black truffle risotto being good but not why I still have 1k in gift cards for. Then name of the dish is Braised Short Rib Marsala with creamy mushroom and black truffle risotto. The Lumache Alla Norcina which replaced them amazing short rib version is still good but no where near as good as the previous entire. If feels like they kept the same price but lowered the quality of the dish in terms of ingredients. Shrimp scampi is quite good and very addictive with 4 large shrimps and some great bread dipping sauce with toasted bread. Service remains good with previous servers such as James, Wyatt (now in Nevada going to visit him), and managers previously Lisa, Kathy (or was it Kelly). The server super hero today was Austin G. Charismatic, quick to serve, good smiles all around, he made North Italia a mini vacation for us. Looking forward to being waited by him again. He should be promoted! Still Sphagetti and meatballs is still a goto filler dish much more economic than just ordering the meatball appetizer. The Brookie sundae was good but the pieces of Brookie were way too hard to be in a sundae. The three flavors of gelato in it were quite good and it's a relatively large dessert that should totally be shared. While the old menu that had me nonstop craving for more is gone the new menu while a downgrade is still super good. Will update when I try the menu after the holidays. Overall I still highly recommend this location. Irvine is a good location also but has hit and misses with food and service so I generally love this location.

Place is SOOOOOO good. The yellowtail crudo is amazing. The pizzas are about as good as pizza can be. Just do NOT get the tortellini, it's kind of disgusting.

We came by for lunch yesterday 12/06/25 at 2pm after visiting Santa in the Manhattan Village. I figured we'd take advantage of the current holiday lunch promotion. I was able to make a reservation & we were quickly seated when we arrived. It was at least 15+ minutes before anyone came by to check in. Kinda crazy. The restaurant was nowhere near busy. I figured with the lunch promotion it would be way busier & hard to get a table, that was not the case. I could see 3-4 employees standing at the hostess area at one time chatting. Eventually our order was taken and by the speed of it all, I'm guessing the kitchen is understaffed. I mean, you can look over and see inside the kitchen. I couldn't see too many cooks/chefs back there. Even walking my five year old to the restroom I could see all the open tables. Lunch was so-so, I think the service soured the experience. I took my bolognese home, but enjoyed the bruschetta & Caesar salad while there. My daughter wasn't a fan of the cheeseburger. I took a bite and thought it wasn't too bad, I'm guessing the bun was baked in house and that threw her off. It's sad to write this review because we've had great dinner experiences here before. My husband did surprise me with a tiramisu dessert to go & that was delicious at home.

Our server Troy was incredibly kind and attentive. You could tell that he truly loves his job. He gave my family great suggestions as to what to order and really listened to our likes and dislikes. We ended up ordering bolognese, chicken pesto, fungi pizza, and the honey ham pizza. Everything was delicious! We can't wait to come back and thank you Troy for being an amazing server!

We celebrated my mom's birthday here at North, and had such a blast. We keep coming back because the food is fresh, delicious, and you get the most bang for your buck. We ordered the Lasagna Bianca Al Forno, Squid Ink Tonnarelli & Tuscan Half Chicken. There was plenty to share, with leftovers. Our server was nothing short of lovely - she took care of us with a smile on her face. We sat on the patio with our pup - it had started raining, so the patio area was covered and the heaters were on. Such a warm and toasty ambience. The dining room is so gorgeous, but got a little too loud - there was an echo that made conversation a little hard (even from the patio), but we all loved people watching. Thank you, North Italia! We'll keep coming back for consistent, amazing, authentic Italian food. We have a blast with y'all.

We came here after a very stressful month. Nice to dress up a little, and relax on patio. We ordered 2 salads, (arugula and kale & simple) and two pasta dishes, iced tea and orange spritzer and a margarita pizza. My husband loved the spritzer, he had two, I stuck with iced tea. The salads were heavily dressed and extremely acidic. We asked for some honey to balance out the acid. Very limp and sad. My husband's marinara was spicy, edible but not what we are used to. The bolognese was not the same, greasy and lacking depth of flavor. My husband enjoyed his pizza but again, spicy. What got to me was the price. These are simple ingredients that when pulled together make for a delicious budget friendly home meal. Our bill, deducting alcohol and beverage, was over 130.00. My advice is to go to the market, purchase fresh ingredients and cook up a delicious pasta dinner at home for a fraction of the cost. You will also have money in your pocket for other expenses.

First time in this Italian restaurant. Very new experience in here. Beautiful restaurant and clean and modern. We ordered lasagna Bianca, zucca chips, spaghetti with meatballs and chicken pesto. Zucca chips were not crispy doesn't recommended. The lasagna was white sauce never tried white sauce before. It wasn't that good. Red sauce tastes better. Chicken pesto was very tasty. Most of the dishes were over $25. If you only going there for the decor and drinks then it's a place to go.

Cool vibe and the service was decent. Had really high hopes after the server recommended the garlic bread as "fire" (and it was arguably good albeit really greasy) but my entree (spaghetti and meatballs) was sort of more like grandma's dry meatloaf and dryish limp noodles. I mean it wasn't horrible but I didn't finish. It was edible but it didn't make me want to come back.

After Pantages show of Suffs we came here hungry and celebrating engagement of her son. I had the lasagna and it was delicious. Somehow when you haven't had something in years it always tastes better than you remember. Everyone had pasta dishes and that's no surprise. Service was excellent and when we shared the engagement with our waiter he gifted us a complimentary tiramisu dessert. Ambiance was tasteful and organized. Everyone enjoyed dinner. Truly a wonderful evening.

Visited on Mother's Day and was surprised by how efficient everything was. Even with the crowds, the wait was manageable, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic, perfect for a chill meal. I had the salmon over couscous pasta in a pesto cream sauce. Pasta texture was great, chewy and well cooked, and the pesto cream brought a nice richness. Salmon was cooked right, but the flavor didn't stand out much. Solid dish, just not a standout. For dessert, I got the brookie, which comes topped with a scoop of ice cream. Definitely a nice way to finish the meal. Warm, gooey, chocolatey, hits all the marks, even if it's not reinventing anything. Good place if you're after solid food, strong service, and an easygoing dining experience.

We came here as a group of 8 for my boyfriend's birthday dinner after playing at Top Golf down the road. This is a great Italian spot! Even as a big group, our server was great at making sure everyone was happy and was enjoying their experience. All the food we had was delicious, so I think you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered a wide array of the appetizers, pastas, and pizzas and enjoyed all of them. We sat outside and really liked the atmosphere of the terrace, but not sure if the experience inside is the same. Will definitely be coming back!

Needed a quick spot for dinner, so I sorted Yelp by most reviewed and scanned for star ratings. 4.2 stars, 2K reviews. Got there and it looked chain-ish. Second surprise - it's a chain, a Cheesecake Factory one. Third surprise - it was pretty delicious. We carbo loaded and shouldn't have but no regrets: White truffle garlic bread with ricotta. So fluffy and truffy. I had my doubts (bc $17 for bread?) but I'm sold. The cacio e Pepe arancini is prob the only thing I definitely wouldn't order again. Didn't taste like cacio e Pepe and was too salty for my taste. The funghi pizza was good. Not the best - till you get into the bomba style cheese side dip/topping. That was a unique take. I would try something else on a next visit. The squid ink pasta was good but I had dismissed the server's warnings about the spice level. She wasn't kidding, the heat kind of builds as you continue to eat. I thought the sauce was tasty. Tho the pasta didn't have as much chew as I'd like (not that it was soggy but it cut thru really easily?). Good service that checked in at the right intervals.

Service was quick, constant amd fast despite place being super busy. Our selections and impressions: 1. Child Crispy chicken & fries- flavorful, huge portion....definitely get it! 2. Calamari Fritti- delicious always a loved dish by all our party. Little salad included was spicy! 3. Wild shrimp scampi - delicious, crunchy tasty bread and the shrimp was perfect 4. Roasted Salmon - perfectly plated and taste was delicious 5. Chicken Parmesan - pasta was my least favorite and then the chicken was 2md best. I'd say skip this one. Four stars for quick service and quick accomodation!

One of my favorite places for Italian. The service is top notch no matter the time of day, the ambiance is perfect for any event, from an intimate dinner to a casual meal at the bar. The food is wonderful as well!

We came here last minute for dinner and let's just say it hit the spot. I made a reservation on OpenTable and requested a highchair. The staff was very friendly and had a seated with the highchair in no time. I had the kale salad and vodka rigatoni-both fresh and tasty. We will be back!
