North Town Chicken

Price is a bit high for what it is. It's not bad, but not the best either. I did enjoy the NTC Bowl. The fries reminded me of the ones I used to get in high school. I was slightly disappointed with the temperature of the food, especially the Mac n cheese. We also got the Texas toast which was more so bread with butter, meh. Customer service was great! I'll go here again, but not necessarily for my first choice.

Hands-down one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever eaten and that’s all the way to Los Angeles California. Fries are fresh and crispy I couldn’t ask for more. To be honest I am extremely impressed I would recommend this place to my mother. Good to know there’s still some spots out there that aren’t commercial and still make good food. Not to mention the customer service was great.

They've only been open for open for a short time but its already a new favorite. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, the bread is soft but crisp and the fries are great (better when fresh). They also have really good mac n cheese. Do yourself a favor and stop by ASAP.

Not really anything extraordinary here. The portions you get are good. The refills are free if you dine in. Other than that the sauces were not spicy at all. I got Spencer's revenge and Sriracha ketchup was more spicy than this. Was really disappointed in that since it was in the "spicy" section. Over priced. $12 for 1 meal. Paid $26 for two meals. At that price point id rather go to a sit down restaurant than this place. They want $4 for a beignet???? What is this Disneyland prices? Would not come back.

Ok, I drove by here during a route for work, and let me tell you I'ma drive all the way across town with my wife and daughter to have them try it, I got the hot chicken that actually was drenched in sauce as it should be, alot of these chain chicken places play around with slightly putting sauce on chicken but not this place! They truly dippppp. I got the mango habanero sauce for dipping with my chicken and it's sweet with some hot (I eat ghost peppers and such so it was like a small tingle to me) the chicken here was legit the most tender chicken I ever tried. I also got the mac and cheese, that mac and cheese was legit so hefty! So cheesy! So delicious! So so creamy! As mac and cheese should be. I seen someone post on here saying "school cafeteria mac and cheese" they are trippin! If my school had mac and cheese this good I would of got held back on purpose just to continue eating this mac and cheese, who needs a good education when you have food this delicious! Lol seriously though, please try this spot

Great customer service!! Definitely the #1 reason that I’ll be returning. This was my first time to NTC and I tried the “Street Chicken Bowl”. It was a good combination of several of their offerings in a huge portion size. The drawbacks for me were the sauce topping, it was too overpowering for my liking, and the chicken portion was a bit skimpy (1 chicken tender based on watching the young lady prepare my order). But the chicken was flavorful and juicy so I’ll be back to try the staple “NTC Better Than Chicken Sando”.

Went in for chicken sandwich and was utterly amazed at how good it was. Staff was friendly service was quick and the food was amazing. I wish I lived closer by so I could eat more of it!!!

I should've taken the warnings from the other reviews. I'm not too sure what this place was thinking, over charging for low quality food. The Mac & cheese tasted similar to something you'd find at a school cafeteria. The chicken had no flavor, except of very old grease. For nearly double the price of anywhere else, I expected this to be the best chicken tenders in the world. If you wanted to try tenders that aren't from Cane's and have that fresh made from scratch taste, this place isn't it. Especially not for the ridiculous price. Which, chicken is insanely INEXPENSIVE. They're taking advantage of locals. I recommend going to Farm Basket. Best tenders in Las Vegas, hands down. $8 for a 4 piece meal. This place would need to be cheaper than that for what they're serving people.

The flavors are amazing, Dave sauces very complementary I can do the hot and extra hot no problem at all but one day I decided to try the reaper and I repeat to you unless you want to do it as a gag you will not enjoy it. It is extremely hot maybe 20 times as hot as the extra hot flavor. 10/10 as always tho The photo attached is said reaper. It doesn't even smell good It's straight up just spice fr But everything below is awesome Try medium/hot if u can do spice well

The service was quick, I did an online order and it was ready when I arrived. The employees were nice but just not very assertive. Didn't even ask me if they could help when I walked in, and saw me just standing there waiting, didn't acknowledge me until I asked them about the pick up orders. The atmosphere was cool nice decor very loud and busy but cool vibes. The food. So we ordered one combo with the tender and slider and Mac n cheese as the side. And then the two piece tender combo with cheese fries. I like that you can pick diff heat for each one, and the app is very easy to use. The chicken tenders are massive so one was plenty for me!! I ended up not receiving cheese fries like I had ordered, so that was a bummer. But I did order extra sides of cheese sauce so that made up for it, just paid for cheese fries upgrade and didn't get it. The cheese sauce is delicious and creamy, the fries are seasoned with what seems to be the same seasoning as everything else. I got one mild and one medium spicy heat level. The mild was good, but had a lot a lot of chili powder flavoring. Which is what the fries tasted like too. The Dave's sauce that comes with it is tasty, very similar to thousand island sweet. You can also get honey as a sauce. They do not have ranch, which was a big letdown for us bc we are ranch freaks with hot chicken. The Mac and cheese was very rich and creamy, best flavor in a while, but again had that similar spice to it mixed in with the cheese. So by the end of the meal everything started tasting the same. Favorite part?? Dipping my chicken in the cheese sauce, lol. May be back to give it another chance.

Well, I waited for quite some time to finally take my chance at Dave's Hot Chicken and I must say I was honestly a bit disappointed! I can't quite put my finger on it, but while Dave's touts having mouth watering chicken, it would be quite hard for the mouth to water for all the chili powder! Now, breading on a tender is one thing, and I love chicken that is breaded. However this was not breading - it was powder. The powder was so compressed that it looked like breading; but it just *poofed* as soon as you touched it. The service was alright, did a pick up order and the employees did not acknowledge me when I was waiting for my order. I had to watch someone else go up and mention having an online/web order before I was even helped. It's a restaurant that pushes fast food with fast food service times. The ambience was nice for what it was but nothing to really write home about. Unfortunately I do believe that this has ended my quest for the Dave's Hot Chicken near me, as I was definitely let down. Maybe others have had a better experience, but this was not your Saturday ladies/gents. I do appreciate the food and work you put into it tho!

Food is great, it keeps me going back! Service is fine, pretty good! Ambiance is so so! The floor in the common area is dirty! If you drop a put of chicken on it there's no 2 second rule! The FLOOR IS DIRTY!

Valerie, the woman who worked the register was very nice and helpful. The wait time was extremely quick. And all of the food was really tasty. Dave's Hot Chicken never disappoints.

I loved Dave's when it first opened up but it's gone down a bit lately. they've been really lazy with making the food, either forgetting the coleslaw in the sandwich to give like 10 fires or unseasoned fries. We still gave it a chance after my boyfriend was there for over 40 mins waiting for our food but it turned out that they gave his food to someone else.

Dry dollar tree bread!! Horrible. Anyone work 12 hour shifts besides me? If you do then you don't like WASTING your money. I knew to walk when the staff walked in with Wing Stop. They don't eat their own chicken. Tonight was my first and last time at this place. Not clean at all. No kale slaw so that was a RIP OFF! Came for the cauliflower bites. Awful undercooked. Chicken undercooked and no crunch. My order was (number 195 ) for dine in and to my surprise the food had been sitting in the counter while the public poured in and buzzed around it. I'm disgusted and can't believe this place hasn't been shut down!

Dave's Hot Chicken (North Las Vegas, NV) It took us a long time to finally give Dave's Hot Chicken a try. I'm not a person that prefers hot or spicy food. I am definitely not even a spicy person. But I can't go to Dave's Hot Chicken and not try something hot. I got the Hot Slider, No Spice Slider, a couple of tenders, and of course, some fries. The fries and tenders were both hits for me. There's just something about a crispy crinkle fry that makes me crave more. Their sliders are basically chicken tenders in a bun and overall I just thought that they were okay. The restaurant is small with very minimal seating. The restaurant was also busy on a football Sunday with most people coming in for take-out. If there's one thing that impressed me with Dave's Hot Chicken is the service. The lines were long, and the staff did a great job keeping the line moving without rushing anyone. 2024 Yelp Review #12

The Reaper waiver is the funniest thing I've ever read at a restaurant. They want you to sign it before you try their Reaper rub. I didn't sign it but I am perfectly aware that it's the hottest rub that I've had. Apparently they must have been sued in the past?? Well it's hot! It's good! And I am on fire! PERFECT My second tender was with the Xtra Hot rub thats the perfect heat for the slider. Second time I arrived and the soda machine was off on the carbonation This place beats Canes!!

Dave's Hot Chicken is a chain of casual restaurants that offer chicken tenders in 7 levels of heat from no spice all the way up to reaper. You get your tenders with fries or as a slider. They also offer other sides and milkshakes. The heat level runs about a level hotter than what you'd expect. Also the size of the sliders are much larger than any slider I've ever had. I thought the slider seemed more like a full size sandwich. I tried "HOT" because I usually enjoy spicy food. The Hot was hotter than I enjoy. I can't imagine anyone enjoying an extra hot or a reaper. Somehow I managed to eat the slider. I do have to say that it wasn't just hot but also was made with delicious flavors. The chicken was also cooked to perfection. We also tried macaroni and cheese and the cheese fries. The macaroni wasn't bad but for some reason we both thought the cheese fries were tastier. After one slider and some of the sides I was very full. The food really was better and bigger and spicier than what I was expecting. I would recommend going with medium level heat or less.

FINALLY came to this place, and tbh, my first time did NOT disappoint. I ordered the 2 sliders, xtra hot, w/fries and a side of Mac n cheese. First, the seasoned crinkle cut fries were pretty good and seasoned well. Loved the dave's sauce for dipping. Second, my spicy tolerance level is pretty high. If you've ever had Thai food and they ask you, how spicy from 1-10, I'm always between a 7-9. The xtra hot on my sliders had a good kick! This was the 2nd to highest in their spice level. The highest is their, reaper. I don't think I would be able to take the reaper but would try it next to cure my curiosity. All together the total was around $20. And even though the taste was great, TBH I think the price is a bit too steep. **not pictured is the Mac n cheese.

I wanted to say thank you to the night staff (mark who answered the phone very professionally as well) for being so kind .. I'm currently in the hospital and ordered through DoorDash and called the store to see if they can cook my fries last and the said they would accommodate!!. My food was so good and I really appreciate it .. will always have me as a customer-the hospital lady lol

Was on my one hour lunch from work and stop by this place. chicken was very good very juicy. I got a spice level of three or medium. Oh boy that stuff was hot but other than that great taste and chicken very juicy not overcooked.

It's been years since I've visited Dave's Hot Chicken at the original location in Vegas on Sahara. This new Dave's Hot Chicken is located at Decatur and MLK area. It's located in a large shopping plaza next to Walmart and Uptown Jungle Fun Park. There is spacious amount of parking spots available. My partner and I stopped by Dave's Hot Chicken on a Thursday evening around 6:00 P.M. There weren't too many customers inside Dave's Hot Chicken. The inside décor is pretty cool and there are plenty of table seating available! After reviewing the menu, we had decided to order the following 1) Chicken Sandwich only (No spice, no sauce, added cheese, and pickles), water cup 2) Combo meal (Two chicken sandwiches and French Fries) with a soft drink The wait wasn't long at all, approximately 10 minutes until our order number was called. There is a self-service soft fountain drink dispenser and plenty of napkins in-stock. The chicken sandwich with no spice, no sauce, and cheese with pickles was delicious! The tender was cooked perfectly and the fried batter that was used is quite light. It kept me full until lunch the next day! My partner enjoyed his combo meal. The customer service here was quick, efficient, and amazing! The team members were helpful and friendly. Whenever a customer walked in, the team members at Dave's Hot Chicken greeted them. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Dave's Hot Chicken. It was relatively inexpensive as well, under $25.00 for the entire order.

I am a sucker for a hot chicken sandwich, so I've been dying to try Dave's Hot Chicken. He interior is funky. Has some really nice murals that's pay homage to the Simpsons. Mellow music. The place was packed on people coming in and out. I was greeted by a lovely cashier. She was very friendly and quick to greet and take my order. I ordered the Daves #4 which is a chicken sandwich and fries. First mistake I made was ordering mild spice level and secondly I added cheese. The mild spice was just overwhelming with spices, not in a good way, and the American cheese didn't go too well. I also was not the biggest fan of the Dave's sauce. Not sure how to describe it but it was a little bland for a signature sauce. I did really enjoy the juiciness of the sandwich and pickles were great. A must is their cheese sauce great with their seasoned fries. Overall it was good. Definitely need to give it a second chance and order a bit spicer.

This is on my list of favorites. I love the sliders. And you can choose your level of Spice and the fries and seasoning are so tasty and crispy. My partner loves the chicken sandwich and the tenders. He can't eat spicy and I can't, so it's nice for him to be able to choose the flavor level of spice. They have many different combos. I definitely recommend 10 out of 10 and will be back soon.

Yelp Review 2023 #117: There has been a chicken sandwich craze for the past couple of years. Even the biggest fast-food with the Golden Arches tried jump on the bandwagon but failed. It's safe to say leave chicken sandwiches to chicken restaurants. Honestly, I'm not too familiar with Dave's Hot Chicken but I've passed by this place a few times and it caught my interest. It's across the street from a popular fast-food chain that serves chicken - it doesn't get bolder than that! First impression wasn't great. The parking lot was filled with trash. Some were getting blown by the wind. The trash bin right outside this place is so full - somebody really has to clean outside! You can't even blame Subway right next door because there's nobody there. Walking inside it wasn't bad. They only have a few tables so we opted to get food to-go. You can choose your spice level from no spice to reaper. You can get a combo with 4 options to choose from. Sides include Mac and cheese, fries, single slider, single tender, kale slaw, and cheese fries. I couldn't decide which spice level to go with between mild and medium. So, I got Dave's combo #3 with a mild chicken tender and a medium chicken slider. It comes with pickles and fries. They'll give you extra Dave's sauce. Their chicken is definitely well-seasoned. The mild was good, the medium was just right. I heard the next spice level which is hot will totally make you sweat! Although the food was pretty good, the cleanliness was lacking. The service was good and the wait for the food wasn't bad (about 10 minutes).

Now these are how I expect my chicken strips to look and taste! 10/10 for the medium sauce option. This chicken so so flavorful and juicy and really don't even need to add the Dave's sauce. The fries are even pretty good. I placed an order online for pickup twice in the last 3 days and both times the workers were very nice and made sure to greet me and everyone else who walked in after me. My food also was done pretty quick, within 10-15 min of placing my order. I have already told so many family members to try Dave's if it's in their city or next time they come to Vegas. I was hesitant to try it but my cousin was so adamant that I would love it and she was correct! My picky 4 year old even loved her chicken with no sauce and the side of pickles. So, so, soooo good!

Honestly not sure what to rate this place. Never been before, ordered medium sauce and it's so hot I can't even eat my sandwich. I'm a lover of all spicy food but this was the hottest sauce I've ever had. I'm not sure if they accidentally added a hotter sauce or what...still pretty tasty, I just literally can't eat it

The chicken was good in the medium spicy fries 8-10, I paid $59.00 dollars for 3 orders, first time I paid that much for 3 chicken orders, I think was very over priced, coke $4.95 two cokes $10 ,service was good, fast serving, we went to the one in the Horseshoe Casino in the out side area,was all right the Ambiance, many people, feels like California ambiance cool area

My son brought us Dave's Hot chicken a few weeks ago. My opinion was theeee best chicken so far here in the area, matter if fact, I loved it. BUT i had NO sauce on mine, i was warned how it might be too spicy! It had a good taste, seasoned perfectly! I had driven by here many times, but until my son stopped here, had never had it! They are always busy, I will say that, Now I know why! We just bought the single strip, piece, came with lots of pickles, a d a piece of bread. Okay with me!

The chicken here was soooo good. I absolutely loved this place everything was so delicious and I couldn't recommend it more. The service is also pretty quick!

So the chicken we got was super dry. I ordered chicken tender light spice and chicken sandwich with no spice. Ummm sorry but I was disappointed. The two stars are actually for the decor inside the seating area. I took our order to go when I opened the bag. No utensils, no napkins either. oh well. just too lazy to drive back to return them. I saw people ordering but the flavors are not for me. Moving on to try the next chicken place....

I thoroughly enjoyed my food . The chicken was hot and fresh , the bun was amazing , the only thing I'd change is the amount of salt on my fries . I am definitely going back to dine in because I did DoorDash so I can't speak to the service or ambiance . Overall, the food have flavor .

Definitely not what expected. The chicken is greasy and tastes like a bunch of chili powder. The fries were soggy and the macaroni and cheese had no flavor. Will not be returning again $30 for a nasty meal.

They make the best chicken sandwiches. The flavor is a little inconsistent but it's still better than any place else. The menu says sliders but these are pretty big sliders and I feel fulfilled from eating 1 1/2 sliders with some fries or Mac N cheese. Their sides are pretty good too. Be careful with their spice levels. They can pack some serious heat. The first time we went there I got Hot and Medium. I love spicy food but their was almost too spicy for me to eat and I order hot sauces online! I would suggest starting with medium even if you love spice. Overall the food is a great bang for your buck.

Just stopped by for the first time! I got a #1 tenders and fries combo and the #2 sliders and subbed out fries for mac&cheese (without any upcharge!). We picked medium spicy level. The chicken is really juicy and flavorful, and I loved the potato buns. The fries were crispy (very salty but it still tasted good). The mac&cheese was fine - I do prefer more of a baked "chunky" style, but if you like super creamy kraft style cheese, this would probably be good for you. The total came to about $28. I'd say it's a little overpriced for the amount of food you get, but overall enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the place. I'd go back, just not super often.

Went in on a Friday afternoon, 5/10. Didn't get the cashier's name but he was so nice and friendly. He's very easy to strike up a conversation with. Loved the spice of the chicken, also tasted fresh when we got our food.

Came in here yesterday for our first time. Started with a wrong order went to the cashier let her know to change it. Cashier gave an attitude and said "well this is what you ordered". I asked her repeatedly to let the back of the house know the changes. After all that went home and the order was still incorrect and food looked horrible. Buns were tearing apart and chicken looked like it has been cooked in bad grease. Don't think we will come again.

People told me about Dave's and I finally had the chance to try it. Lemme just say I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the chicken sliders and OMG I'm still thinking about it. Even the sauce they give you is good. It was just the right amount of food. Service was great. I'm definitely going back.

I'm giving this 5 stars. I'd honestly give it a 4.5 if that was an option. First and foremost is the chicken and that is 5 stars. I did the medium spice tenders figuring that was the best starting point. Seasoned well (Hear that Raising Cane's?) with a nice kick. I could probably check out the next level without going Reaper just yet. They are very juicy and flavorful though. Surprisingly not dry at all. As far as the accoutrements? The fries are nicely seasoned crinkle cuts. They are a good complement to the meal. The Dave's sauce is just okay. That's one thing Cane's will have over places doing the chicken concept. Dave's is sweeter and it lacks a certain zip. I guess it goes well with the fact that they actually season the chicken but there's something missing. The mac and cheese is nice. It's very creamy and consistent. A baked over cheese would really elevate this. The bread is nothing more than a placemat and kind of an afterthought. Cane's wins here too with that buttery Texas Toast. Overall I'll be back and it might make the consistent revisit list for those nights where I can't decide what to eat. Good chicken tenders go a long way on those nights and Dave's delivers. I just won't go overboard with the sauce.

You can't go wrong with this chicken. It's juicy tender Halal the batter is not to thick it's crispy and so so good.. The North Las Vegas location is nice and clean with good customer service and the food is made to order so you will have to wait. Don't compare Dave's to Chick-Fil-A OR Cane's ......totally different themed restaurants with different chicken options and different taste so please don't compare. If you want a salad go to Chick-Fil-A don't rate Dave's less than amazing because salad isn't on their menu. The menu is small and it's perfect for the theme of this restaurant You want more options then go somewhere else. It is what it is and the menu is giving excellence!!!! This location is my chicken go to spot from now on.

I don't know what it is, but the last few times I've gone, the spice level just does not match what I ordered. I tried this place in LA before they had locations in Vegas, and I even tried the reaper spice since I love pushing my limits with spicy food, so I KNOW how hot their spices can get. Since they opened up here, I've gone as high as their extra hot and it was disappointing. With my most recent order, I ordered both chicken sandwiches with the hot spice, and there was literally no spice to them whatsoever. Like I said, I don't know what it is, but too many times now has my food not matched the spice level I ordered.

Hot chicken tenders, kale slaw, cheese fries! Yaaz! I got medium spice. Perfect amount of kick. The staff here is so nice. Great vibe. Music is happy. The Simpsons theme graffiti is hilarious.

Zero complaints! My food was delivered by door dash. No issues with them. I did order one with slaw one without and they both came without slaw. Not too much of a big deal but would have wanted to try and see what I preferred for the future. Seasoning was on point got the medium! Fries sooo good and even with delivery was crispy! Will be back

I couldn't order food. Because the place was so filthy. The my shoes stuck to the floor that had something's sticky and shoe prints all over the floor. The counters had wasted food on the counters and big chunks of something that looked like brownies or something. The back area all around the walk area there was powder or flour or something. There was an open trash can that had trash falling out of it near where you make the food. It was just disgusting when you walk in there was a smell of old grease or something it was just disgusting. You really need to do something about this place because someone's going to get sick and sue you. It was my first time there and I really wanted to taste the food but I just could not because it was absolutely disgusting. This review is only about the location at 1735 West Craig Road, Suite 1, North Las Vegas, NV 89032 because that's the only one I've ever visited. At some point in the future I'll try another location and maybe have a better experience. I wish I had thought to take pictures or videos when I was there. But I was really tired and hungry and just wanted to get some food and go home.

Food is pretty good/ consistent from the times i have eaten here. However service is on the slow side and lack luster at best. Portions are okay Flavor okay Menu Options not many (don't come here if u don't like spice bc they only offer different spice levels no other flavor options except basically plain) I would not eat in unless I had to bc the location is small. Overall cool but not a place I would name as my go to spot if I want some southern hot chicken.

The staff is very welcoming as soon as you walk in. The food is always fresh and hot. One slider fills me up so I always have leftovers. Can't wait for them to start serving milk shakes again.

The Reaper Hot Level (Reaper Sandwich) makes you want to re-evaluate your life decisions. Why is this delicious? I might faint from spices. I want to take another bite! after a few bites of Mac & Cheese... I learned now to take two levels down in hot levels. Ordering Takeout is like a gift on Christmas. Their accuracy makes you feel seen. I have yet to visit in-store, but the staff is dedicated to their craft regardless. Quality is excellent, sauce is reminiscent, I don't think this is a spot to miss!

We went and tried the 'Not' chicken slider and tenders and they were fire!!! We had the X X hot on our order and it was already too spicy but it was still good.
