Google
This is a cute coffee spot with tons of tables to chill or work from. The whole right side has outlets so folks can charge their laptops/phone while they work. Yummy coffee - try the maple oat latte. I really enjoyed the gift shop they have built into their shop. Hikers will have a great time here!!

Google
Really good coffee and cool atmosphere. Very spacious inside did not feel crowded at all. Price was reasonable. And if you get just a regular coffee and want to hang out free refills. They also have lots to look at and things for sale. When I was there there was someone selling vinyl records kind of cool. That gets busy at peak times but the staff is always on top of it. They even have water and cups good dehydrate as you drink coffee. Cool place to check out if you're into coffee and coffee shops it's a unique place!

Google
This place was really busy on a Saturday afternoon and parking was tricky. Once you're inside there's lots of places to sit but there were few spaces left. It's not terribly noisy but it's also not really what I would call cozy. I tried a decaf latte that wasn't decaf at all and the roast was mostly burnt. It wasn't terribly expensive but with the roast being not great and the decaf not being decaf at all I probably wouldn't go back. It seems like people really like this place so you make your own decisions.

Google
The perfect coffee shop to meet with a group or work remotely! I did not expect it to be so huge inside, but there’s a spot for everyone— a nook with couches that a mom group was meeting at, tables for solo workers, and everything in between. The vibes were very cozy inside. The baristas were really nice and the north shore latte was delicious. The only downside was parking on the street was very full because of how popular the spot is.

Google
Great and fun atmosphere at this coffee shop. Coffee was alright. I travel all around the world drinking coffee so B+ level coffee. Quick service and Great Wall art. Speciality coffee with several pour over options.

Google
The drip coffee brew changes drastically as it cools. They have a medium roast, and it tastes quite bitter when it’s super hot almost like a dark roast but after 7 minutes as it cools it’s mellowed out, much more smooth and tastes more like a light roast. I’ve never experienced coffee changing this drastically before, and it was an enlightening experience. If you get an iced coffee- you don’t need to worry! I had the cold brew with oat milk and maple 🍁, it was amazing and $5.50. They have lots of space so it’s perfect for networking and working and also have compost on-site and water easily accessible. I loved that they had a few vegan options, but they are only packaged options- Tao’s Bakes and some cute looking date bar snacks. I’ve been twice now and both times the pastry section was almost cleaned out, so they may have more earlier in the day or at less busy times.

Google
The 1 star of this review can count for the interior of the place which is adorable and has tons of seating! Unfortunately, the coffee I got (cappuccino) was SO acidic and bitter that I chose to throw it away. I thought it might just be my coffee, but my friend got an iced latte that had a similar flavor and was barely tolerable. I think they might roast their coffee in-house? If they do, they certainly should consider outsourcing. My second visit at this coffee shop was a quick stop on my walk with my puppies. It was quite hot out and I wanted to grab a bite to eat and some water for the doggies. I am well aware that most coffee shops and restaurants do not allow dogs inside because of laws regarding food service facilities, but I generally never have an issue bringing them inside a coffee shop for a second while I order and then going right back out. As soon as I walked through the door, I was told that I was not allowed to even step inside with my dogs. I complied and left my dogs tied up outside while I went to order, but I found this incredibly strict and unwelcoming. Additionally, I ordered a quiche which was a tiny slice for $8. Incredibly unimpressed with this coffee shop. I think it has the potential to be substantially improved with better coffee and kind service.

Google
Pretty decent coffee, unique flavors if you like to try new things and helpful kind baristas. This place is severely unsettling though, at least for me as a poor rural MN bred queer. Maybe it's meant for tourists?? Decor is this weirdly sanitized nostalgia artsy thing, maybe they were going for some kind of Oslo chic but failed? Its just surreal n offputting. It's like someone tried to make it feel like a cabin but had never actually been to one before because their family didn't have a cabin when they were growing up, but rather a vacation home (derogatory)? And you're met with a giant 2 way mirror if you want to sit in the comfortable/couch seating, and feeling like you're being watched. Everyone sits against the wall not main area if possible because the metal chairs look and are uncomfortable, and this line of gazing eyes of people adds to the unwelcoming feel.

Yelp
VIBE This feels like the buzzing work/community hub of the neighborhood - at 9am, just about every seat was filled with a warm body and a laptop, clocked in and caffeinated, ready for a full-day's remote work. The space itself is spacious, and with lots of merch to browse. SERVICE & COFFEE Meanwhile back at the counter, after getting input from the (friendly) barista I had a fantastic Papua New Guinea pour-over that was chocolately, vibrant, fruity, and complex. Halfway thru my cup, I was inspired to get up from my stool and buy a bag of the beans to bring home with me to CA. Back in CA and halfway through said beans, I went online and ordered another bag. FOOD Wish they had more hot food breakfast options - they did have a variety of pastries and also a breakfast burrito, but we would have loved a more extensive hot menu.

Yelp
Just had to add that I really love the seasonal Bieberkopf Cortado! Who would have thought espresso, caraway, and grapefruit would be such a good combination.

Yelp
This was my first time at Northern Coffeeworks. My friend and I decided to come here to co-work. This place is perfect for it. Ample seating, clean, and plenty of plugs. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was great! The baristas were friendly and made good coffee. Thank you Northern Coffeeworks for a comfortable place to work and get out of the house during the winter. And for an excellent cup of coffee :)

Yelp
What a beautiful space! So much room to connect with friends over coffee and a pastry. I enjoyed a pour over and then a chai latte. The pour over was exquisite, the chai was fine. I did not have a pastry but my friends did and enjoyed them. I wish we had a coffee shop this spacious with beautiful decor in my neighborhood

Yelp
I spend too much money at Northern Coffeeworks. I'm a sucker for the expresso drinks here, they are amazing, some of the best in town. The brew coffee seems to be hit or miss sometimes, or maybe I got fancy taste now? The vibe is great for remote work. Lots of wooden tables (not the most comfy) and open space. This means some days, if you arrive at 9am, good luck getting a table.... Or even on the weekends, you'll be fighting folks who bring over donuts from Bakers Wife. Shop has pastries from Marc Heu (whose pastries are just meh, like why does everything have to have a coat of sugar over it, including plain croissant or a savory ham/cheese croissant). Also, why is the orange juice $7 dollars? I wished they have food like the pre-pandemic days.

Yelp
Very good working spot. Lots of seating, although the wifi can get slow at times and you may suddenly be stuck next to someone with a loud voice and a lot of zooms (neighbor, I don't think this is where you should teach classes from). Some spots also are under things like a very aggressive air conditioner, brrrrrr. But, decent coffee (I guess I need to come back for straight espresso), fancy pastries from Marc Heu, and one of my favorite bakeries is right next door. I'd work here again.

Ashley A.

Yelp
Great spot to work from. Very good amount of seating, outlets, and tables. I tried the chai and it was delicious (chai can be hit or miss for me). I wish they had a better variety of baked goods and that those weren't quite as expensive. But the drink prices are reasonable. Very very cute place.

Yelp
If you haven't been to their renovated location yet, it is a must visit. Northern Coffeeworks offers incredible drinks for coffee and non coffee lovers alike. My go to is the matcha or any of their seasonal offerings. They sure know how to bring seasonal flavors to their customers, and they don't miss. They also have some great pastry options. During the weekday, its a great place to get some work done, and during the weekends it stays consistently busy. There is lots of different seating for a number a different size groups, and the atmosphere is cozy. Make sure to ride your bike there during the summer months, as you will see lots of the biking community stopping by.

Yelp
This place is so cool. Very roomy with lots of lit and dimmer areas. Eclectic furniture and places to sit, including 2 picnic tables. Spacing is perfect. Roomy bathrooms. Various items to purchase including a candle that smells like a boomer aftershave. I took off a star because the hot chocolate had an odd under taste even with sugar. It was also lukewarm. Order it very hot if you get it. It's a fairly busy place, but they are fast. Whenever I go to a Baker's Wife I'll stop here.

Yelp
We came for the fruit and grain pastries, and stayed for the caffeinated beverages! Northern Coffeeworks is a perfect spot to stop before or after the Mill City Farmer's Market!! For the fruit and grain pop tarts, hand pies, etc. be sure to check out their Instagram for what to expect as it changes daily/weekly!! I have never had anything I wouldn't recommend, but the bacon, cheddar, and cream cheese hand pie was absolutely incredible, and the pop tarts are divine if you have a sweet tooth!! I also enjoyed my matcha latte with my pastries! Their coffee specials are unique and tempting, too. The service was great, and the seating areas are very pleasing with brick and live edge wood throughout. It is a great spot if you need a change of scenery while working or studying!

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place! The North Shore Latte was SOOOO GOOD. I don't even usually drink coffee (more of a tea gal) but this was truly delicious. The baristas were kind, and there were little tables set up with local artists selling their work. Some of the artists were very progressive and supportive of oppressed communities, which made me really glad to see. Overall, I had such a nice experience, and I hope to go back soon.

Yelp
This isn't your run of the mill coffee shop. The unique seasonal menu and the salted mocha is to die for.

Yelp
I have been eyeing this spot since I moved in just down the road. I walk past it a lot and it seemed like a cozy place to work, so one weekend I decided pop in for a change of scenery while grading papers. It was definitely crowded when I came in on Saturday morning, but I had no trouble finding a space to settle in. I noticed that every seat/table had its own conveniently located outlet associated with it, so it was easy to set up shop for a couple of hours without worrying about my battery dying. I was a little disappointed in the food selection. They had plenty of vegetarian friendly sweet options, but I was really craving something savory with my sweet Chaider. I did really like the flavor of the Yeast Raised waffle and would definitely get it again, but it would be nice to have a vegetarian breakfast sandwich or hashbrowns without meat/eggs. It wasn't a deal breaker though, and I would definitely return!

Yelp
Good coffee shop option close to Gold Medal Park and Mill City ruins. Great space to hang out with people to chat or to do work. Almost every seat has a dedicated power supply and nice roomy benches. The old brick surrounding is lit with natural light and gives a soft ambiance that is great for working on a laptop but bright enough still to read a book or document. Their menu is standard for what you will find at artisan coffee shops but have a few seasonal drinks that are very unique and interesting. They also serve wine and beer for those who are not into coffee. I tried one of their iced mochas and enjoyed it. They used whole milk and high quality espresso and it showed in the smoothness and creaminess of the drink. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area and need to work remotely.

Yelp
The smell of this place just makes me hungry!! Very cute coffee shop with that North loop look, with tall ceilings and brick walls. Coffee is amazing and the food is delish!

Yelp
Came here for a bite to eat one Saturday morning and was completely charmed. The coffee shop is adorable with exposed brick and beautiful lattes. The line was pretty long when we walked in and it stayed steady the entire time. Very popular spot! I ordered a latte and the veggie biscuit sandwich. This was the most delicious latte I have ever had. I couldn't put my finger on why it was so good - maybe full fat milk. I kept taking small sips to savor the whole cup. The sandwich was a bit messy but the fried egg, soft cheese and tomato with aioli was so yummy. My husband got the other biscuit sandwich which tasted similar to mine but with bacon on it. Would highly recommend stopping in if you are nearby this place.

Yelp
Current favorite coffee place in the Cities. Had a friend visit from Southern California who was blown away by their coffee. Everything I've had has been divine! They're branding on their merch is clean and modern, tons of sitting space to work or connect with friends. A few fine coffee equipment things available for purchase. Every barista knows wtf they're doing. Impeccable! Their Miel and Smoked Sea Salt Mocha keep me coming back. Not a huge fan of the Fruit and Grain poptart handpies they sell (I think I just don't care for handpies), but Bakers Wife is right around the corner.
google avatar

Shelby S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Very clean. The parking lot in back is a plus. Especially since it's located downtown. I got the sea salt mocha. The combo of salty but sweet is so good to me. The espresso was very smooth and the drink was delicious.

Yelp
Northern Coffeeworks is such a sharp little shop. It was recommended to me by a coworker -- "nice breakfast food, but it takes a while." She was right! Also, the prices are higher than other little cafes but I'm sure it's because of the high-quality ingredients used in their products. My group ordered a bacon grilled cheese, chili, and the cabin breakfast, with two apple ciders. The apple cider tasted so great, like applesauce but in a warm juice with added spice. The chili did not have beans in it, see the photo to check it out. The cabin breakfast was the best deal -- two eggs, two little hearty biscuits (with the option to purchase a tiny tin of jam), sausage (chicken or pork) or bacon, and a seasonal fruit side. I loved it, and it came with a little green apple which was great for a dessert later. I'd come again, it was a beautiful space with great ambience and tasty food.

Yelp
So they are affiliated with the Angry Catfish Bike shop just around the corner. They make a decent boujee coffee and maybe you should give them a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Genuinely the best espresso I've had in the twin cities - and after coming 10+ times, it's consistent! Such a rarity in the coffee industry - cannot recommend enough.

Hakuna M.

Yelp
We were recommended this coffee spot by our Hilton hotel concierge and was vastly disappointed. The bacon Mac & cheese pastry was served cold - we were not given the option to heat it up. Pedal Paddle - Espresso shot was pretty awful and nasty to say the least. The hot coffee is decent, but nothing mind blowing.
google avatar

Yen M.

Yelp
Food and coffee is great but EXPENSIVE (hence, minus 1 star). We ordered 2 fried egg biscuit and a coffee to share for a quick lunch and it was $30! To be fair, it was a gourmet biscuit. They also serve Intelligentsia coffee and it's one of our favorites. We first discovered it in Chicago. The staff told me that they only serve it from time to time. So, I would recommended giving them a call before heading over if you're only there for that particular coffee. Overall, it's a cute spot to check out if you're looking to grab some coffee on that side of town. Street parking only.

Yelp
I kinda have a love/hate relationship with Northern Coffeeworks. Their food and drinks are delicious, but dang it's really expensive. I had the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuits. Honestly this was not worth the money. Bacon was soggy/not crispy. Biscuit was a little small, but it was good along with the eggs and potatoes. Portions were just too small for the price. For $5 I tried some matcha drink. It was good, but again definitely not worth $5 and I would not get this again. My husband had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich and THIS is why I'm giving 4 starts. The Smoked Turkey Sandwich was really really good! In fact I think I ate half of my husbands (sorry, not sorry) and traded him a tiny biscuit. Such good sweet and savory flavors happening there. I want to go back just to get this. The space is beautiful and it's close to Mississippi bike trail. Be careful though, you can easily spend $40 for a quick breakfast and drinks for 2. Oh and they have coffee and wine if your looking for that as well. Not sure how parking is since I biked, but I assume not that great being downtown. I think Northern has potential and I'm interested in trying some other menu items to see if they are as good as the sandwich.
google avatar

Treena C.

Yelp
This is a place that you won't go to just once. Just delicious! Coffee is served beautiful and hot. I came here for a late breakfast but when I saw honey nut soup on the menu I had to try it. It was perfect for a chilly day inside this warm modern place. Ample seating although I am sure it gets busy. I will be back to this one!
google avatar

Alyssa H.

Yelp
Northern Coffeeworks was so good that I went three whole times while I was in Minneapolis... Three... But every time was worth the trip. Having a variety of foods, coffee, and treats, it virtually accommodates everyone. I'd recommend trying the breakfast biscuit sandwich as well as the avocado toast. Both were delish and filling (alongside some coffee, that is). This sweet shop is also in a really neat area, with several shops and breweries to walk to in a nice radius. Check it ouuut.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop on a recent trip to Minneapolis. The plan was to pop in, grab a coffee and go. Instead we stayed for a few hours. The store is adorable and a great place to meet a friend or get some work done. After ordering some caffeine we realized they had a small food menu and decided to get breakfast as well. They were sold out of their regular biscuits so I was easily convinced to try the basil biscuit. It was delicious and was a great compliment to my tea. The only down side is it is really expensive, so just be prepared!
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
This downtown coffee shop has partnered with fruit and grain this past year to offer her Pastries, they are so good and I highly recommend trying her selection if you haven't, they are allergy and intolerant conscious. The coffee i had was their regular blend of the day. It was good. We showed up at 8:59 and they opened at 9. Upon entering the staff seemed less than thrilled that we were there to order. I hope they are okay and managing this tough time. We were excited to get there.
google avatar

Greta F.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in south Minneapolis! Love their matcha and any of their lattes. Really unique handmade pop tarts and the everything bagel hand pies are out of this world. Really nice seating options inside and outside! Only downfall is they close at 2pm.

Yelp
This place is some kind of incredible. So far I've tried four things, in order: their orange lavender latte, their decaf orange lavender latte, their chai latte, and their yeast raised waffles with 'the works'. The thing is, I worked at Starbucks for a year, and in that year I dedicated myself to learning as much as I could about coffee. While I'm no Coffee Master (I was almost one, though... ALMOST) I would say that I became significantly -- intimately, even -- acquainted with coffee. Coffee and I ended up on a first name basis. Coffee and I told inside jokes that only we laughed at. Coffee and I began to understand each other deeply. One day I woke up from a nap, only to find that coffee had lovingly draped a blanket over my shoulders so I wouldn't get cold. My heart fluttered, and not from the caffeine (truthfully... it might have been the caffeine). All that build-up to say this: I like to think I know a little something about good coffee, and they have now -- twice -- given me the best latte that I've ever had in my life. I'm not being sponsored by them to say this, but boy do I wish I was (Coffeeworks, if you're listening and open to retroactive sponsorship...). I also like to think I know a little something about good chai lattes. I'm definitely no master of masala chai -- I'm so very American, and still have so very much to learn about tea in general -- but I HAVE been purposefully visiting every local cafe I can and trying their chai, because I love chai, and... again. They gave me the best chai I've ever had in my life. I don't know what sort of demon deal they signed to make this place a reality, but oh my god. Gals, guys, and nonbinary pals... come visit this place. Multiple times. The deets: The coffee was the smoothest coffee I have ever tasted. Before drinking it, I honestly wasn't even aware that I'd been missing out on some secret, elevated level of coffee. Some of my previous coworkers were district Barista Championship winners, so I'd been acquainted with dang fine coffee... and yet. This was genuinely next level in a very subtle but very present way. The latte art was beautiful, too. I don't know if 's the locally sourced beans or the house-made syrup, if they have special machines or if their baristas are just that good. That said, the one criticism I do have (sourced purely from my own taste buds) is that the decaf espresso tasted more astringent in a way I really didn't love. They use different beans for each respective roast, so I'm not surprised it tastes different -- I just don't like the decaf beans nearly as much, which is tragic, as I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine. But alas, we must all make sacrifices for the things we love. Next up, the chai. There was no latte art on this, I think because the drink itself is so white, but the taste... oh boy. It was nothing but smooth, creamy, frothy spice, and it was perfect. And finally, the yeast raised waffles. The presentation on them was impossibly Instagram worthy, and the yeast added this tiny, sharp beer-like bite that gave it a hint of uniqueness. You're not given a separate syrup to pour on them -- you get the amount that comes out on top of them, although I'm sure they'd be happy to indulge you if you asked for more -- but the minimal amount paired with the natural sweetness of the berries, nuts, etc actually ended up tasting pretty perfect. The service was speedy, as well. I was quoted a ten minute wait for the waffles since there was someone in front of me, and I ended up waiting about four. The chai, meanwhile, came out almost immediately after I sat down. It actually left me a little uncertain about the quality -- but then, of course, I tasted it. That uncertainty lasted until the first sip.

Yelp
When I travel for business I always like to visit local and interesting places. This place is a total find! I ordered a Cortado and Fried Egg sandwich. What I was served was "heaven" in a cup and on a plate! The coffee was smooth and delicious, and the sandwich was fresh, made to order. A yummy combination of warm, soft bun, crispy bacon and lettuce, and savory egg that's a perfect way to start a day.

Yelp
Looking for a local sit down breakfast place. We found this to be close to our hotel so we have it a try. Limited menu and a bit pricey. My son and I had the caramel apple waffle. We both really liked it but felt the portion (1/2 of a waffle) was a small for the $12 price. My husband had the biscuit sandwich ($12) and did not like it at all. Service was friendly.
google avatar

Gloria C.

Yelp
Try their ice tea! Northern coffeeworks is the new coffeeshop in town and they have wonderful tea and coffee. And it is an instagram-worthy place I really love to study there but here are limited sitting space. Noted that their opening and closing time is whenever sunrise and sunset is. Therefore they close very early in winter.
google avatar

Enock S.

Yelp
After lunch stopped by to get some coffee. The place is soo cute! They have great seating. But it gets packed pretty quickly, i sat by the windows. I loved watching cars pass by, plus it was snowing which made everything better. I got the Orange Lavender Latte! So good. The flavors weren't too overpowering but made just right. I also got the almond croissant. Definitely not your typical croissant! It seemed to have bread? inside which was delicious. My sister got a hot chocolate. Amazing. The place is a bit noisy for studying but still it is very relaxing!

Yelp
Cute coffee shop with a mix of rustic feeling with brick walls and modernity with architecture and drinks. Tried their cortado. Yummy. Friendly baristas

Yelp
My family and I love to try new coffee shops around the city and we were so excited to try this one last weekend. The atmosphere was great and the textures all around the shop make you feel like you are in a high end shop. Who ever selected the mugs was on point!! Love them and they are so satisfying to drink from. When ever you can get your order to stay and admire the excellent taste of the coffee from the stoneware. I had the Ethiopia pour over was amazing and so was the trail cookie. Can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
The coffee here is good. I had an iced coffee and my companion, an Americano. There was no seats when we got here so ordered to go. Ended up standing at the bar area (they serve alcohol here too! ) to drink our coffee and survey the environment. This cafe channels a trendy hipster vibe. The decor is minimalist and the chairs have a Nordic aesthetic. A bicycle is hoist atop the seating area as part of the decor, some abstract art pieces hung on the walls and there are shelves with all sorts of merchandise like mugs, pencils, water bottles, etc for sale. I like that they use and sell handmade pottery namely by Mary Carroll and the company HAAND. Each table has a charging station so there were many students working on their laptops. The Viking just finished playing so many supporters were here too. I can only say that this place was busy and loud but the counter service was fast and for a good cuppa, worth coming in.
google avatar

Kaela C.

Yelp
The coffee is soooooooo smooth. I am from out of town but I stop here whenever I visit because it's so delish. I like the vegetarian breakfast hash which seems to change depending on what is in season. My favorite drink is the latte which I chose to add the house citrus and lavender flavor. Not too sweet and added a nice twist. The atmosphere is great if you need a place to sit and get some work done. I think they recently expanded. Beautiful decor, love their logo and orange and green color scheme, and tons of exposed brick. A must try!

Yelp
Best people and best coffee! We love getting their beans for our own home brewing and also love to visit for a solid cortado. We bring everyone from out of town here :)

Yelp
Northern Coffeeworks has to be my favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities. That's saying a lot because we're fortunate to have so many great coffee shops, and I've been to most of them. It rises to the top for me because, first and foremost, their coffee drinks are consistently excellent. They use quality products and great equipment, and they craft the drinks with skill and care. And this excellence carries over to their other beverages and their food items. I've enjoyed their drinks and food over many visits, and I've not seen a misstep yet. This place is clearly well conceived and well managed. The environment is great for hanging out with friends or your laptop. The staff are always super friendly and really make you feel welcome. They become my favorite because every time I've been there Northern Coffeeworks has been excellent through and through!

Yelp
Stopped by for a cappuccino and ended up ordering waffles. By far the best cappuccino I've had and the waffles were delicious- fresh ingredients! The pictures should speak for themselves

Yelp
Absolutely, love the atmosphere of this place. Very metro yet comfortable, the orange, lavender latte is outstanding. And the peanut butter scone was like a giant under cooked peanut butter cookie. Entrees are the perfect portion sizes for a light brunch/breakfast. Starts getting busy around 930-10 on weekends but totally worth the the wait!!! Gets noisy during peak times, but perfect place to enjoy company and get a quick, yet tasty brunch/breakfast.

Yelp
Northern Coffeeworks is great for meeting up with friends. Though it seems tends to be quite busy and it can take time to be able to sit down after you order. I ordered the Skillet Hash flavors was awesome came out super hot and fresh, I would actually order it again but the potatoes were raw that's my only complaint about this dish. 100% recommend!

Yelp
Northern Coffeeworks was an unexpected delight for a casual Sunday brunch. Unexpected to find a crowded coffee shop in a row is shops downtown Minneapolis, it was a great treat to see they had a delightful menu to go along with their aesthetics. Ordering the veggie skillet and seeing a lot of the other menu items ordered- this is a coffee shop with benefits. Despite the high price of coffee and food, I recommend this spot for anyone looking for something new and different in their coffee shop or breakfast line up.

Yelp
We stopped by northern coffeeworks on a Sunday morning before church. My fiancé got the Americano which he said was good but borderline a bit too strong. I got a vanilla latte which was quite tasty. We also got the corned beef hash and biscuit breakfast sandwich-both of which were solid choices. The prices were a bit high, but that is to be expected downtown. If we're ever in the area again I'm sure we'll stop by try the pastries

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by Northern Coffeeworks which was located right up the street from my hotel in MSP. You can sense the care in the coffee with homemade syrups and wonderfully crafted breakfast items. This morning I ordered the seasonal hash skillet which was lightly seared seasonal root vegetables topped with an egg. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and pair very well with mustard grains and a parsnip purée. As for the coffee I opted for another orange lavender latte which was heavenly. Great work, if I'm in town again I will definitely be back.
