The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies In Atlanta, Ranked

"Beloved for their super dense, hockey puck-sized cookies, Smyrna’s Not As Famous isn’t a surprise on this list. This giant cookie is super soft inside without being undone. And if you’re the kind of person who likes more dough than chocolate, then you’ll like the 3:1 ratio in this one." - jacinta howard, juli horsford, nina reeder

The Best Cookies In Atlanta

"Don’t get hung up on the company name. All you need to know is that Not As Famous in Smyrna makes goliath, super dense cookies that somehow consistently achieve a gooey softness without being doughy or underdone. A picture board by the register shows the flavors of the month, which will always feature a seasonal offering like a green Grinch cookie or fall sweet potato. We’re big fans of their red velvet, which is a mainstay on the menu. And if you can handle even more cookie, get the mini-pie-sized cookie bowls, which come with your choice of ice cream and toppings. Famous Amos could never." - nina reeder, juli horsford

I drove 45 minutes from Duluth to try this place because I'm a cookie fanatic! Firstly, Jermaine at the counter was really awesome👏. He immediately greeted me when I walked in and helped me out. He also gave me an instruction card for the best way to heat the cookies. Now for the unfortunate news. These cookies look amazing and they taste pretty good too, but I have to admit I'm disappointed with the texture. They're hard as a rock! I immediately took a bite in my car because I was too excited to wait till I got home, but they were so hard and dry that I almost wanted to spit them out😭 I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so I got home and preheated my oven to 350F just like the card said and baked them for 5 minutes. I was really hoping that this would bring the cookies back to life and soften them up a little since I love a lil gooey chew in the center of my cookies, but the first bite was still just as hard even in the center. I reallyyy tried liking these cookies because I drove all the way to buy them, and I especially want to support small businesses, but I just couldn't get over how hard and dry they were. All in all, I still appreciate the great service, and I really do want to believe they will improve! They really got sumthin special going on with the flavors, so I truly want to see them perfect the texture! I may return in the future just because I like a good comeback story❤️

Ice cream and cookies were delicious. There was no wait and the staff was friendly. Everything we wanted was in stock. Keep up the good work.

Google
I look forward to their cookie lineups each month (for the past 7 months now ) , and they’re always pretty good ! I’m in love with their red velvet cookie. Unfortunately for the past 2 months now, whenever I’ve ordered their choose 3 cookies, they get really stale the next day and they’re really hard to bite on. I’m not sure if they’re leaving it in the warmer for too long, & maybe that’s why they get like that? Maybe I’ve came on some off days, but i still think this place is worth giving a try !

Great service, atmosphere, and cookies. Just tasted the Banana Pudding cookie. While I don't get Banana Pudding I do get Banana flavor. It's almost like a banana Laffy Taffy flavor... and I LOVE it! I love it! Soft and chewy insides with crunchy edges. Great cookie.

Love this place! My favorite cookie spot in metro Atlanta. Their main shop is located in a shopping plaza in Symrna. Staff is always very friendly, and they give great recommendations. I made the drive today to come get them, and once again I was not disappointed. My absolute favorite is the red velvet. Soft and moist on the inside like a cake, and crunchy on the outside. The new seasonal Ube Cookies and cream was really good- like your classic cookies and cream with a more nutty undertone from the ube. Now the last one I tried was the cookie butter. Wow. That cookie was amazing, it was like a warm holiday party in your mouth. If you’re ever around the area, definitely check them out!

Google
Cookies was delicious. We got the chocolate chip, the Juneteenth Sugar (seasonal), oatmeal raisin, and the honeybun cookies. It was our first time there and the 30 min drive was worth it. The lady provided excellent customer service. I enjoyed the entire experience and wouldn't mind going back to try their other seasonal cookies and ice cream By the way, if the cookie is hard, just pop it in the oven for a few mins.

We just ate today at this place. One cookie sandwich and a cookie. Both my boyfriend and I got home with stomach ache. Cookies tasted like plastic. Do not recommed

First time there and visiting from Florida and so glad we stopped in. The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The place was so clean and our family bought at least one of every cookie because they all looked so good and we couldn't decide. They all were different levels of deliciousness. If you love cookies, go here!

Yelp
TLDR: 3/5 - For some reason still slightly too hard around the edges specifically, some overly sweet but at least the price was fair considering other competition. Ordered: Chocolate Chip: 2/5 - Where art thou the chocolate chips?? I had one in every 3 bites. Needed more salt. Red Velvet: 3/5 - not actually overly sweet but there wasn't much going on otherwise Christmas Sugar: 2/5 - White chocolate just aren't ever the move. I think I would've liked it a little more without it but with it it just makes it too sweet. Service: Great! The girl at the counter seemed sweet. Cute storefront as well. I can't say if I would go back but if times are desperate...

Yelp
So my kids told me this place has THE BEST cookies ever, so I had to see for myself. Let me say this, I am cookie conneseiur, and I have enjoyed cookies all over this fine city! That being said, I was skeptical until... I bit into the Chocolate Chip cookie . Now, I am a believer! The cookies were OUTSTANDING! Brian and Amari waited on me, and they were the absolute best. The service was superb. I am a chocolate chip cookie girl, but they have lots of other flavors. Check this place out and tell them you saw Lynn's review on YELP!

Yelp
I come to this area frequently, but the store isn't open some days so I've been excited to try when it was. When I first walked in, the girl working the front was sitting down. She was polite while greeting me, but short and to the point while pointing out what the cookies look like, flavors and pricing. She tried to sit back down before I told her I already knew what I wanted. The cookies don't look appetizing really, they're just scooped from the batter onto a tray but they are a pretty good size. I got 3- chocolate chip, cookie butter and red velvet. I waited until I got home to share with my bf. First, the cookies were hard and I hate hard cookies. I gave him the edges and tried the center which was a bit softer. Chocolate chip- super bitter and had an odd taste. Maybe they used semi sweet chocolate chips. Red velvet- no flavor really, not sweet just meh. Cookie butter- okay, tasted like caramel that's about it. The texture of the cookies is odd, they're hard and kind of grainy. My bf isn't picky and loves sweets, he even said he wouldn't get these again. I hate wasting money but they ended up being thrown away. I really feel sad and contemplated leaving a review because I do want to support a Black owned business, but it just wasn't it for us.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Not As Famous Cookie for so long. I love desserts and I love trying new sweet spots. The staff that we're working were awesome and super helpful. They have a ton of different cookie flavors and ice cream flavors, and I knew I wanted to try an ice cream sandwich. I ended up ordering a red velvet cookie and a birthday sugar cookie with birthday ice cream. The red velvet cookie was warm and soft and really good and doughy, the ice cream was OK, and the sugar cookie on the bottom was hard. So it was kind of hard to eat because I couldn't use my spoon to cut through to the bottom hard cookie. It was just kind of disappointing for $8.50. I was pretty overwhelmed with the number of choices, so I would definitely be willing to try it again, and maybe go a little simpler with what I order!

Yelp
Better thank Crumble!!! If you are looking for a cookie, this is a dang on cookie-lol! Thick and huge! I was really impressed with the quality and richness and it took me 2 days to eat 1 cookie and I had 3. The 3 for $10 is probably the best value, but this is the cutest little cookie shop. I like!

Yelp
These cookies are so good and the flavors are so creative! The service is amazing and everyone is so friendly. I love this place and their cookies :)

Yelp
I wish liked these cookies more because I live close by. I had a red velvet, July 4th, and pb cookie. The texture is a little too sticky and hard for my liking. It's very different from Sugar Shane's and Crumbl. Overall, just not my type of cookie but everyone should experience at least once to see if they like it. Best wishes.

Yelp
This place has come a long ways since I first visited them in 2021. Their cookies are the absolute best. I love how creative this shop is for creating cookies that no one else has. I only wish them the best for years to come.

Yelp
If you love crunchy cookies like myself, this is a great place. I order three cookies from the menu and they all turned out fantastic. Each cookie had a nice crunch to them without being hard. Highly recommend this over crumbl!

Yelp
Today (2-26-2022), I visited Not As Famous Cookie Company in Smyrna. The store has easy access, located in a shopping center at a stop light, and with plenty of free parking. The store is bright, modern, and very clean. The staff was friendly. They asked if it was our first time and explained their cookies, ice cream, and combo options. The aroma in the store was intoxicating. They are baked fresh and there is plenty of variety. The cookies are great! Gooey, soft, and a good size.... definitely worth the price. My complaint (and reason for my rating of 4) is the packaging. Our M&M cookie had just come out of the oven and was warm. That's fantastic if I was eating the cookie immediately, but we took ours home. Our six cookies were stacked 3 high. They molded together. Our Fruity Pebbles, M&M, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip with Pretzels are stuck together so we can't enjoy half of the cookies we purchased. I think it's a great cookie spot and recommend you check them out, but don't let them stack your cookies, especially if they are warm. I doubt the same thing would happen if they have cooled. I think a box or some other packaging would eliminate this issue. Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to enjoy something that smells and looks delectable.

Yelp
They were a sponsor for the resent yelpies and provided their delicious goodies for all the attendees. I'm not sure the name of the cookie i got but it was delicious! These cookies are larger than your standard cookies and full off flavor and sugary goodness!

Yelp
Had these cookies for the first time! They came in a cute little bag. I tried the Cookie Butter yesterday and the Cookie Monster as well as the Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip today. Decent cookies. For my personal taste, I prefer soft, gooey cookies with a little crunch on the outside, if not completely soft. The outside of the bag says "But better than..." after their name, and I am sad to report that I disagree. For me, Sugar Shane's stuffed cookies give that gooey and melty with a perfect crunch, and Crumbl gives that decadent softness. All three Not As Famous cookies I've tried so far have been over baked for my preference. I tried the cookies at room temperature as well as warmed up to see if it made a difference. Room temperature they're solid and hard in your hand and in your mouth. Heating them up helped soften them, but they still didn't live up to standard for me. If you have to rely on an oven or a microwave to reheat to provide soft cookies, they should at least become exceptionally gooey upon doing so, like Sugar Shane's... not here. The Red Velvet so far has warmed up to be the softest although I preferred the flavor of the Cookie Butter. The Cookie Monster cookie was a good choice for breakfast this morning because of the oatmeal and low amount of sweetness. Over all, the flavors are pretty good and the sweetness level is mild to medium. What makes these cookies stand apart from other cookie companies is the unique shape. I think it's fun, but it also makes me wish that ball was a glob of raw cookie dough on top of the baked cookie. It's not. If you prefer your cookies hard or just a little soft upon warming, where it still completely holds shape, these cookies are for you. I'll be trying the praline pecan later to see how that one ranks. Perhaps I just got a mediocre batch, but it's hard to use that excuse when it's several different flavors of cookies that were most likely not baked together in the same batch. An off day maybe? Despite my disappointment, I am still thankful for the cookies because 1. This is a business doing their thing and 2. my boyfriend got them for me as a surprise while he's out of town. I am grateful. I told him they were so yummy and tried to sound enthusiastic, but I think he caught onto me. The honest review is here on Yelp. I'd be interested in giving them a second chance when he comes back, to see if my opinion changes.

Yelp
I happened to be reading a blog post from What Now Atlanta months ago and made a mental note to visit. I remember reading the article and heading straight to the website to see what all this cute little shop offered and was immediately excited about this place. Oooooooo how I've been thinking about stopping by for some cookies...and finally...on a whim....I made it. Located in The Shops at Belmont shopping area, there's plenty of free parking so just park and head right in. When we arrived, I loved that there was a board outside the door listing all the different types of cookies so I kinda had an idea of what it wanted before I stepped inside. As I walked in, a young man greeted me and guided me to the menu on the wall with alllll the sweet treats offered (cookies, ice cream). There was also a cute little display with a bunch of cookies and I was just overwhelmed with joy starting at them. My husband and I decided to get half a dozen - 2 sugar, 2 chocolate chip, and 2 cranberry white chocolate macadamia nut. When I got that cute little paper bag with a little window in it showing me the yummy cookies, I just couldn't contain myself...anddddd they were warm! I ate one of the cranberry white chocolate macadamia nut cookies on the way home and my goooodnesssss. It was so warm and soft and just amazing and heavenly. Just the kind of sweet treat I needed on a cool night. I will definitely be back because the service was outstanding and I'm excited to try the other flavors!!!

Yelp
I had a good first experience. I ordered lemon blueberry (my fav), red velvet, and birthday cake. All were soft and delicious. The staff was helpful in helping me with my decision-making. I like how the menu changes monthly. If I lived closer, I'd def frequent more often! But I'll be back! See on... IG/TikTok: @ChrissyEatsAtl

Yelp
Hello! I went back to try the Red velvet, chocolate chip and butter cookies warmed and they were amazing! The service was fairly quick and I was greeted coming in the door and I picked up the at home directions for if you take your cookies home and how to warm them. Would definitely come back again now because those cookies hit the spot! Perfect for our last minute cookie craving vibes.

Yelp
I am not a cookie person. But I've had cookies from *a very famous cookie place* and I think Not as Famous runs circles around them. I came and got the 3 cookies for $9 deal: -honey bun -chocolate covered strawberry cookie -valentine's cookies and cream (or something like that - it was a cookies and cream cookie with strawberries throughout) The cookies are nice and chewy - with the exception of the valentine one, I think it had maybe sat in the oven too long because the outer portions were just hard so i tore them off. That *very famous cookie place* had cookies so chewy they were borderline doughy and that makes me gag. So they definitely got the soft level correct here. The cookies are also pretty big. So I ate one per day. I thought that by the third day they would be hard like the first one, but I nuked each one in the microwave about 15 seconds, and it was the same great chewyness. It was like it reactivated the butter or something, idk. Still as tasty as the day I bought them. Guy at the counter kinda shoved the bag into my hand because there were people behind me waiting, but before they walked in he was friendly enough. Their menu changes every month so that's at least one time per month I'll be coming back.
google avatar

Josslyn L.

Yelp
All three were great! The thicker two (chocolate chip and oreo cheesecake) were crispy on the outside but chewy and soft inside. It was not just sugary overload flavor but actually tasted good and like their flavor. The lemon blueberry was a nice balance of the two, not too overwhelming. Also, this place is black owned! Will be back.
google avatar

Meghan F.

Yelp
The first time we visited, the sweetest girl behind the counter gave me a free cookie with my purchase because I was torn between flavors. We have come back quite a few times since then and the service is always spot on. The cookies are really delicious, fun flavors that change every month. My favorite so far (even though it's basic) was an iced oatmeal cookie. I'm telling you, it was AMAZING. We will always give our business to this local business over another well known cookie establishment, the cookies are just better here. They also have milkshakes, ice cream, and you can even top your warm cookie with ice cream. 10/10, I would definitely recommend you give this place a chance.

Yelp
I've seen the Not as Famous Cookie Truck scooting around town, so it is really cool to see the brick and mortar finally open up, especially because it is not too far from my house! So, fresh new spot for some of the freshest cookies in Cobb County!! Located inside of the shopping plaza that is anchored by Creatwood Tavern at the corner of Atlanta Road and Windy Hill sits Not As Famous Cookie Company's spot! They sit on the Windy Hill side of the shopping center in the building where Cielo sits. Given the shopping center, parking is a breeze and should never be an issue! The place isn't large, but it is purposeful and perfect in size for what they do! The place is 70% kitchen, so get ya cookies or ice cream and keep it moving! This definitely needs to be the case as it gets a little cramped when the crowd/line starts to build...which I imagine is going to be often! Menu boards are all over. They have a chalk sign outside stating the current flavors of the week, same sign on the counter for cookies, as well as ice cream flavors. On the wall is the pricing and product board. It details out the cost and all the offerings from cookies, to ice cream scoops and sandwiches to floats. Pricing starts at $3 for cookies and are served in 1, 3, 6 or 12 counts. We got a sample of 3 cookies. Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. That Red Velvet Chocolate Chip cookie was fantastic! It was light, yet sturdy, soft yet firm with the perfect balance of sweetness! Looking at their menu, it appears they have a lot of really great flavors to offer. I hope they get to the place where they dont have to rotate their full cookie menu and can offer more of their specialty flavors more consistently! But for right now, as long as they keep those chocolate chip cookies on the rack... Overall, really awesome to see this place open up! Very happy to support these phenomenal folks and I mean, having a cookie store nearby ain't the worst thing that can happen!
google avatar

Yelp
We got 3 cookies and 2 scoops of ice cream! Cookies: Easter cookie, s'mores, and toffee Ice cream: moose tracks and oatlicious Cookies are very good they melt in your mouth! Would be even better hot! The ice cream was basic but above all else the customer service was top notch! The two guys working were very pleasant and patient with us being out first time, the explained how everything worked all the options and kept good conversation throughout the whole process! Will definitely return for more delicious cookies :) --highly recommend the Easter one for Easter time!!!

Yelp
Not as Famous is a cute cookie & ice cream shop in Smyrna! They offer different cookie flavors weekly and serve a variety of different ice cream flavors! I ordered the Red Velvet, Chocolate Chip Pecan & the St. Patricks Day sugar cookie! They have 1/2/3 scoop ice cream options, but you can't mix the flavors (example: 2 scoops, 1 vanilla, 1 chocolate) it had to be 2/3 scoops of one flavor. Which womps when you want to enjoy more than one flavor. My Fiancé said the ice cream was really good, he had the cookies and cream! Overall the establishment was very clean, the staff was very nice and patient with us, the cookies were delicious , soft and great portion sizes! The only down fall was not being able to try two different ice cream options, otherwise, I'd definitely return for more delicious cookies @ Not as Famous Cookies!

Yelp
A friend of mine attended the Grand Opening and after seeing all the pictures they posted of their cookies I had to come and try this new spot out myself. My husband and I visited on a Saturday around 3:00pm. Their operating days and hours are limited so make sure you visit the website before coming, their hours are listed and which cookies they are offering is also listed. There were 6 flavors of cookies being offered and we decided to order 1 of each cookie so that we could taste them all. The cookies were all thick and very large. The flavors were rich and tasted homemade. My favorites amongst the 6 we had was the Cookies and Cream and Butter Cookie. My husband enjoyed the Red Velvet and the Chocolate chip the most. My diet does not typically allow cookies but I made an exception and I am glad I did. If you are a fan of cookies I would suggest adding Not As Famous Cookie Company to your list of must try establishments.

Yelp
Came in last weekend to pick up some cookies. They weren't crowded when we went in around 2pm on Sunday. They have new flavors monthly. We decided to get the chocolate chip and chocolate chip walnut to keep it classic. They were served warm but we ate them a bit later in the day. They were very pricey for that sized cookie too. When we got home, we warmed them up, but they didn't get gooey like cookies usually do when you warm them up. They had a slightly off flavor about them too. Maybe we got a bad batch? Seems like a cool business with some unique flavors so might be worth to check them out. Maybe we got unlucky

Yelp
My husband and I were in town visiting from Rhode Island and I saw this place while I was heading to another store. We decided to stop in and I'm so happy we did , the staff there was Amazing. The service was above and beyond , I wanted to try the Banana pudding ice cream and they were out . I mention to the one of the employees that we had come from RI and he went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. The ice cream was delicious I almost went back inside to get a bigger one but after his fight to get me one scoop I didn't want to put him thru that again Next time we're in town we will definitely be returning after thie service we received from your staff. Keep up the good work guys...

Yelp
I first came across them at a food truck festival, and since then I've been finding every excuse that I can to drive from Chamblee to Smyrna

Lisa L.

Yelp
If you have a sweet tooth I recommend Not As Famous Cookie. The original chocolate chip can use more chips however, it is still delicious. The flavors are so good but don't get hooked on one particular flavor (almond for me) because it may not be available long term and the young man on the phone could not tell me when they were bringing my favorite back. I love the soft middle with the outer crunch. Be familiar with the hours/days of opening because it seemed to be closed every time I got a craving to pop in for a cookie. They were closed more than they were open. Overall,

G C.

Yelp
I had my first experience with Not as Famous Cookie after receiving a free birthday cookie bowl (THANK YOU). I ordered the banana pudding ice cream and everything but the kitchen sink cookie. Weird combination I know but oh soooo gooood. My cookie was literally right out of the oven so it was hot and delicious and the banana pudding ice cream did not disappoint. I don't treat myself often but this place will definitely be on my must haves list as they did not disappoint.

Rachel O.

Yelp
This was my first time purchasing cookies at Not As Famous Cookies. I did not check the cookies before I left the business. I bought the cookies for my wife. When she tried the cookies, they were stale and hard as rocks.

Yelp
My favorite cookie spot hands down, you'll love it. Crunchy around and soft and chewy in the middle. I'm so glad this place is near by me. Hopefully they are more being recognized, would never want to see they go... but i will continue to support and come grab some cookies whenever i get a chance

Valeshia G.

Yelp
Best customer service ever!!! The cookies are amazing and heaven sent. I love the atmosphere as well as the variety of what's offered. Each month the flavors change but I still have my favorite sugar cookie (birthday cake) this month. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
So so delicious. The ice cream tasted homemade and the cookies were so tasty without making us feel ill when we were done like crumbl. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be driving back down here from Kennesaw again and again.

Yelp
Yum! I've got to try a shake next time. I'm sad that I didn't pay attention to everything they had to offer. Customer service was friendly and quick, I didn't have to wait forever to be greeted. The store is cute. Nothing over the top. I was more focused on the sweets than the decor lol. I'll look next time. This was my second time ordering, the first was when they were housed in their food truck. I ordered six cookies: chocolate chip, Easter sugar (2), chocolate chip pecan, red velvet, and something like a brookie (brownie cookie). I just saw they sent mean offer for a free cookie so I'll be back for that and a shake.

Yelp
OMGGGGGGG these cookies are seriously delicious. I ordered some to Phoenix and they arrived two days later soft and fresh. These are the best cookies ever. I ordered a dozen mixed with chocolate chip and snicker doodle. I was planning on sending half to work with my husband but changed my mind after my first bite. Lol The cookies came wrapped in groups of three, very easy for sharing. Presentation is everything and they did an awesome job. I'll definitely be ordering again soon!!!!

Yelp
I saw this place on a news show where they feature local restaurants several months ago and have wanted to try these cookies ever since. So I finally did it today! And I'm glad I did. I got six cookies for $13 - two chocolate chip, two oatmeal raisin with pecans, one peanut butter and one m&m chocolate chip. The cookies are crunchy on the edges (I love the crunchy part) and chewy in the middle. And they are REALLY good. I'm not supposed to eat gluten but I splurged on these cookies. Mmmmmm. I look forward to trying the ice cream next!

Yelp
I've wanted to try these for a while. Finally went today! Great customer service. The young man was very pleasant. As for the cookies..... I was disappointed. I boldly purchased 12. Not fresh! They are hard. None of them were warm. Maybe that's something you have to request. Shared my dozen with others and they were underwhelmed as well. If in the area I'll go back to try the milkshake.

Yelp
So I ordered 3 cookies on Sunday. Let's just say I didn't even leave my parking spot before devouring my first one. Finger licking good. Ordered the chocolate chip, red velvet and M&M one. Chocolate chip was gooey and meaty and soft and warm and so so good. Red velvet was delicious and so was the M&M one. They were served in a nice little brown bag. I ordered online ahead of time and walked in to pick them up with NO wait on a Sunday afternoon. You could tell the cookies were freshly made. And they did not disappoint me one bit. They're kind of tucked away in the shopping center but plenty of parking. I'll be a frequent customer for sure. Glad to have found this hidden gem!

Yelp
I wasn't interested in booking your vehicle. I inquired about your company's interest in vending at our event, which means you will pay us for space! There's a difference and having the ability to comprehend that was lacking on your end! Ha, ha, ha! Nasty person.

Yelp
When you wanna satisfy that sweet tooth craving, you need to try this spot. I'm sure they have something you'll love, whether you simply desire a few cookies or a crazy milkshake. They also offer deep dish cookies with some delicious ice cream along side it. You can't go wrong with a stop here. I first discovered them at their food truck when it came through my neighborhood and I fell in lobe with their cookie ice cream sandwich. I'm telling y'all, you'll be addicted‼

Yelp
This is a nice addition to the Belmont Shopping center. I stopped by after a bike ride, go figure. I ordered 3 cookies which was around $7. I wondered why they were so expensive, but when I got home and opened the bag I realized why. They are HUGE!! They're kind of like lumps or mounds of cookie dough baked into slightly irregular shapes. I grabbed a card that gives instructions on how to make them ooey and gooey (put them in the oven). They were sooooo good after putting them in the oven. I ordered a red velvet (highly recommend), chocolate chip cookie (would recommend), and a snickerdoodle (would try something different next time). They also have ice cream which I'm excited to try as well! Go grab something sweet!

Yelp
I love cookies!! And I was really excited to try this place out. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday, open 1-9 Wed-Sat and 1-7 on Sunday and the cookie flavors are changed monthly. There are a few tables outside and the staff is friendly, but on this day the vibe was dull and they seemed not too excited to be there. Masks are required and there is hand sanitizer next to the register. I was expecting a little more bakery decor, instead of blank walls. I was disappointed in the presentation of the cookies, sitting in cake storage containers on the counter. The containers made the cookies look raw and unappealing. Not to mention the sad little cookie cake sitting in its own glass container, which is for ice cream, there was no labeling for anything, and one sad little cookie sitting by itself, to the eye of a first-time customer, was just a sad little cookie cake gone wrong. After tasting the 2 chocolate chips and 1 oatmeal raisin cookie, I will not be returning. $7.95 for 3 cookies, that are not as famous is a little too much, I need a cookie to knock me off my feet the first time I try it and this just didn't happen here. And that makes me sad!!

Yelp
Three stars only because the ice cream was decent. At least they live up to the name. Not as famous because the cookie was hands down the worst cookie I've ever had. I'm not over exaggerating. The cookie was hard as a ROCK. It sounded like I was chewing gravel while eating it.

Yelp
This is usually one of my family's favorite places to grab dessert either at the brick and mortar location or when the truck is out at Smyrna Food Trucks. So tonight when we were out to dinner and considering dessert while at a nearby restaurant, Not As Famous was an easy decision. However, after the lackluster experience we had today, not sure when we will be back. We usually order the deep dish cookie with ice cream and expect a wait for the cookie to be warmed all the way through. Tonight was no different on the wait, however instead of a warm deep dish cookie after a 10 minute wait, we received two cold hard cookies in the deep dish tray. Talk about disappointing. Please give people what they order or just be honest and say that you don't have it. What we received tonight was absolutely not what we ordered nor what we have come to expect from Not As Famous.

Yelp
Experienced these soft pillows of deliciousness! I got 2 butter pecans and a strawberry crunch. Haven't eaten the latter yet, but the butter pecan was excellently executed. Soft, with crispy edges. Perfection!!! The. The manager was very helpful and personable. I honestly thought she was the owner! Will definitely return for more!!!

Yelp
One word.....WOW!!!! I've been to a couple of cookie shops and this place is BY FAR the best one I've ever tried. The cookie that I tried (red velvet) was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I could have easily eaten 1/2 a dozen by myself My husband ate the cookie butter cookie ice cream (vanilla) sandwich and enjoyed it tremendously. I can't wait to go nack and tey their other flavors. The only thing I don't like about them is that they don't have a shop in Woodstock

Yelp
Love the cookies! I like my cookies soft and flavorsome, this place delivers. I've had two ice cream sandwiches and ordered the four pack of cookies (red velvet, peanut butter). If you need a break from cakes and pies (this coming from a cupcake lover), pick up a cookie here! They change a flavor or two during the week. And the ice cream? Get some!

Yelp
Nice and warm cookies. Enjoyed my maple pecan cookie. Which isn't too sweet but sweet enough. Just the right amount of nuts to not overwhelm it. My husband enjoyed his cookie dough ice cream. We will be back for sure.

Yelp
We went in December of 2022 to get a cookie treat. There was a terrible smell in the restaurant and the two guys working there seemed annoyed when we mentioned it. They said they already knew. They do not have any gluten-free options. When I asked about it, they said that I would have needed to order ahead to have something. The cookies my kids got were mediocre and the experience was disappointing.
