"The chef to the Polish national football team is behind this brightly decorated restaurant, and also owns the more informal bistro next door. The wide-ranging menu includes both a variety of steaks – served with a choice of sides and sauces – and a 'flour and water' section that includes homemade pasta alongside classic pierogi. Everything comes in generous portions and delivers bold, gutsy flavours. The professional service team run the place well." - Michelin Inspector

As always happy with my visit. The way how they present their soups has always been an attraction over there. Top class main course and dessert too. Can't understand the negativity in some other people's comments. Service was also very friendly and professional by a cute waitress. Till next time, folks!

Nota Resto by Thomaz Lesniak offers an exceptional dining experience, especially if you choose to sit on the rear terrace. The ambiance was perfect for our evening, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We opted for the tasting menu paired with a carefully curated selection of wines, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the quality and creativity of the dishes. The "farm to table" freshness was evident in every bite, and the innovative flavors and presentations added to the overall experience. The meal began with a trio of amuse-bouche, expertly crafted by the chef, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. The Beef Limousine tenderloin tartare was a highlight, with the Worchester egg yolk and pickled mushrooms adding depth and complexity. The Zurek on smoked ribs was rich and flavorful, with a delightful croquet featuring a quail egg and smoked meat. The Pierogi with pulled pork neck was a nod to traditional Cracovian cuisine, yet elevated with a caraway sauce that tied the dish together beautifully. The Lamb hip served as the main course was tender and well-balanced, accompanied by a cabbage and potato roll that offered a comforting blend of textures and flavors. The eggplant mousse and dukkah added a unique touch, making this dish a standout. The pre-dessert of ice cream stones with blueberry crumble and cotton candy was playful and refreshing, providing a perfect segue to the final selection of petit fours. Overall, the tasting menu at Nota Resto is a culinary journey that delights the senses. The wine pairing was thoughtfully selected, complementing each course perfectly. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a sophisticated dining experience with a focus on fresh, local ingredients and innovative cuisine. 📸 I post quiet corners and cultural highlights like this one on Instagram: @postcardsandcoordinates

That it was my 1st visit for sure not a last one. Great food, great service. We get a goat cheese tartlet as a amuche bouche, I had a beef tartare for starter(one of the best in my life btw)great balance of the flavours, perfectly finish with crounch of the crouton. 2nd starter was a "pyzy", for main course we had a fish which was serve with cod bon-bons. Excellent experience and value.

A Culinary Symphony in Kraków Nota Resto by Tomasz Leśniak proved to be a delightful culinary experience during our recent visit to Kraków. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in a quiet elegance, accentuated by the restaurant's stunning lighting. The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion, yet welcoming to all. Our meal began with the Oyster Le Gall, served with pickled cucumber, a refreshing start that awakened our palates. However, the true stars of the evening were the custom-made spicy prawn dish and the Beef Wellington. The prawn dish, prepared to our preferred Indian spice level, was nothing short of amazing. It was clear that the chef had taken great care in balancing the flavors, creating a dish that was both unique and unforgettable. The Beef Wellington was a masterpiece. The perfectly cooked beef tenderloin, encased in a flaky, buttery pastry and accompanied by a rich mushroom duxelles, was simply divine. It truly made my taste buds explode with joy. Beyond the exquisite cuisine, the service at Nota was impeccable. Our waitress, Ola (Alexandra), was an absolute gem. Her politeness, fluency in English, and willingness to explain every dish made our experience truly special. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening, and her attentiveness elevated our dining experience to a new level. While Nota falls into the expensive price range, the quality of the food and service makes it worth every złoty. I wholeheartedly recommend Nota Resto by Tomasz Leśniak to anyone seeking a truly exceptional dining experience in Kraków. Whether you're a couple looking for a romantic dinner, a family celebrating a special occasion, or a tourist eager to explore the city's culinary scene, Nota will not disappoint. Locals, too, will find themselves impressed by the innovative menu and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining at its best.

A really lovely little breakfast bar with garden seating out the back. A super selection of well presented and delicious breakfasts. Amelia was friendly, engaging and professional. A highly recommended place away from the maddening crowds.

One of the best restaurants I know in Kraków’s old town. It is above the standard pricing in the city but it seems pretty reasonable. I have been here several times already and I really enjoyed every plate in every visit 😁

My partner and I dined here on Sunday evening. We booked at short notice. We werw given a choice of tables on arrival. We decided to sit in the back part of the restaurant which was nice and quiet. Our waitress who was Polish was absolutely lovely and the service was amazing. The food was excellent. My partner loved the beef wellington and I had the vegetarian options which were also really tasty. The non alcoholic drinks were also really good. We had a great experience here and our waitress made our dining experience fantastic ☺️

Absolutely loved dinner here. There’s a large garden patio in the back along with a spacious inside, tastefully decorated, and has a decent wine selection. A separate staffer, perhaps he’s a Somm, presents the wine and describes where it’s from, its history, and what flavors to expect. The food was very creatively put together and composed of high quality ingredients. You start with a bread selection and a small dish, then we had a beef tenderloin tatar, and beef Wellingtons with truffle shavings, foie gras, and sweet potatoes. A strong recommendation without hesitation.
