"The chef to the Polish national football team is behind this brightly decorated restaurant, and also owns the more informal bistro next door. The wide-ranging menu includes both a variety of steaks – served with a choice of sides and sauces – and a 'flour and water' section that includes homemade pasta alongside classic pierogi. Everything comes in generous portions and delivers bold, gutsy flavours. The professional service team run the place well." - Michelin Inspector

One of the best restaurants I know in Kraków’s old town. It is above the standard pricing in the city but it seems pretty reasonable. I have been here several times already and I really enjoyed every plate in every visit 😁

That it was my 1st visit for sure not a last one. Great food, great service. We get a goat cheese tartlet as a amuche bouche, I had a beef tartare for starter(one of the best in my life btw)great balance of the flavours, perfectly finish with crounch of the crouton. 2nd starter was a "pyzy", for main course we had a fish which was serve with cod bon-bons. Excellent experience and value.

Highly promoted restaurant which was recognised in Michelin guide in 2023 and 2024. I went there for the first time during Restaurant Week. Place itself is very small, table was not ready when we arrived even though there were few free tables. Tables are very close to each other so you are basically participating in all neighbours conversations. Apart of that it was very cold inside because of two doors constantly opening (one from outside and second from internal cold corridor). Service was doing bare minimum and everything was very slow (1h wait till main dish). Moreover, there is very bad mobile signal inside so there is a problem to pay by card. About food - the only dish worth mentioning was fish (sea bass) - it was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Everything else was nothing special. Not sure if I’d go to that restaurant again as even though Chef seems to be good but the place itself is not cozy at all.

This is a Michelin recommended restaurant. Outstanding meal. Lovely plating. Maria, our server, was exceptional. Charming, casual ambience. The duck/fois gras dish and tuna carpaccio are highly recommended. This is modern Krakow restaurant at its best.

Amazing experience for my partner’s 30th birthday, couldn’t have asked for better. Felt at ease with polish not being my first language! Dziękuje!!!

Nota Resto by Thomaz Lesniak offers an exceptional dining experience, especially if you choose to sit on the rear terrace. The ambiance was perfect for our evening, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We opted for the tasting menu paired with a carefully curated selection of wines, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the quality and creativity of the dishes. The "farm to table" freshness was evident in every bite, and the innovative flavors and presentations added to the overall experience. The meal began with a trio of amuse-bouche, expertly crafted by the chef, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. The Beef Limousine tenderloin tartare was a highlight, with the Worchester egg yolk and pickled mushrooms adding depth and complexity. The Zurek on smoked ribs was rich and flavorful, with a delightful croquet featuring a quail egg and smoked meat. The Pierogi with pulled pork neck was a nod to traditional Cracovian cuisine, yet elevated with a caraway sauce that tied the dish together beautifully. The Lamb hip served as the main course was tender and well-balanced, accompanied by a cabbage and potato roll that offered a comforting blend of textures and flavors. The eggplant mousse and dukkah added a unique touch, making this dish a standout. The pre-dessert of ice cream stones with blueberry crumble and cotton candy was playful and refreshing, providing a perfect segue to the final selection of petit fours. Overall, the tasting menu at Nota Resto is a culinary journey that delights the senses. The wine pairing was thoughtfully selected, complementing each course perfectly. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a sophisticated dining experience with a focus on fresh, local ingredients and innovative cuisine.

A really lovely little breakfast bar with garden seating out the back. A super selection of well presented and delicious breakfasts. Amelia was friendly, engaging and professional. A highly recommended place away from the maddening crowds.

Absolutely loved dinner here. There’s a large garden patio in the back along with a spacious inside, tastefully decorated, and has a decent wine selection. A separate staffer, perhaps he’s a Somm, presents the wine and describes where it’s from, its history, and what flavors to expect. The food was very creatively put together and composed of high quality ingredients. You start with a bread selection and a small dish, then we had a beef tenderloin tatar, and beef Wellingtons with truffle shavings, foie gras, and sweet potatoes. A strong recommendation without hesitation.
