Noto Italian Restaurant - Review - St. Peters - St. Louis - The Infatuation

"A St. Louis suburb saturated with chain pizzerias and fast food feels like an unlikely place for a family-owned restaurant certified by the Italian organization that declares whose Neapolitan pizza is the real deal. But despite the Italian homages, there’s zero condescension here—the menu affectionately explains why Neapolitan pizza is served whole, with forks and knives. With more than a dozen pizzas, it can still be overwhelming. But if you make sure to order at least one comfort classic like arancini or burrata in addition to whichever dish sounds the most unusual to you, you can’t lose. Noto is going for an elegant Italy-meets-Missouri fusion with fun, fancy, seasonal cooking. An appetizer of heirloom tomatoes is topped with giardiniera granita that plays like spicy ice. Zucchini pizza with pickled ramps ties it all together with sun-dried tomatoesn and a manzo pasta sees braised beef lifted up by Cynar amaro, artichokes, and confit tomato, which sounds like it shouldn’t work, but really does. When Noto opened, it wasn’t clear whether locals would embrace their pizza’s airy, leoparded crust and general departure from popular suburban topping combos. But from its walls filled with old-school art depicting cultural touchpoints like Campari and the Amalfi coast to its rustic, greenery-hanging-from-the ceiling ambiance, this restaurant is a love letter to Italy that would work anywhere. The food was excellent, from appetizers to the main courses to desserts. Service was on point the entire time, friendly but not overbearing. The only negative (and I'm being a little choosy) is I wish it was a more intimate atmosphere. It's small and there are tables and people within a few feet pretty consistently. Great place to go, just don't expect to have any kind of privacy in conversation or otherwise.

My husband and I came here for date night based off of a Rizzuto Show recommendation. One of the best meal experiences we have had. Everything was delish. Down to the last sip of my espresso martini. 12/10💜

My husband reserved for my birthday with a month of anticipation. It was a real Italian type of pizza. It was not the best pizza you ever have. But it was good. 👍🏽 the service was excellent: our server was kind, attentive, but not intrusive. Drinks were good as well. The pannacotta super tasty! Great place to go! But does it worth to have to wait a month to ? Not sure.

Authentic Italian pizza with incredible drinks! Service and atmosphere are always consistent. Every staff member knows exactly what they are doing and that is so hard to find lately. Make your reservations and enjoy!!

This place is incredible, and I understand why making a reservation is such a hassle. When we arrived at our designated time, we were promptly seated and greeted by our server, Erica. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting dishes that we might enjoy the most during our visit. For our first course, we had risotto balls accompanied by a refreshing salad. Both dishes were bursting with fresh flavors and textures. For our second course, we indulged in a delightful brick oven pizza topped with pasta. After savoring both courses, we never felt bloated, as all the ingredients were imported from Italy and tasted absolutely divine. It was as if we were on an Italian vacation, dining at a restaurant. To top off our meal, we enjoyed cannolis and gelato, accompanied by a refreshing Americano coffee. These desserts were incredibly refreshing and satisfying. What truly set this place apart was the ambiance, the thoughtful gesture of providing separate silverware for each course, and Erica’s exceptional ability to engage us in meaningful conversations. This place is absolutely worth the wait. You won’t find food like this anywhere else, unless you visit Italy. I highly recommend it; as an Italian myself, it reminded me of my Nonna’s cooking. Arrivederci e a presto!

After months of trying to snag a reservation, I finally made it to Noto in St. Peters — and it was absolutely worth the wait. Noto is one of fewer than 1,000 pizzerias in the world certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, which means everything here is done to the highest standard of authentic Neapolitan pizza. They use imported Italian flour, San Marzano tomatoes, fresh house-made mozzarella, and bake their pizzas in a 900° wood-fired oven from Italy. The crust is soft, chewy, and perfectly blistered — exactly how it should be. I ordered the sausage pizza, which was rich, savory, and had just the right amount of spice. For an appetizer, I had the roasted carrots topped with shredded cheese and nuts — they were flavorful, beautifully roasted, and definitely a standout. I also enjoyed a couple of their craft cocktails, which were fresh, balanced, and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the smell of fresh dough in the air, cozy lighting, and a lively energy that makes you feel like you’ve slipped away to Naples for the evening. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. If you’re a pizza lover, this place belongs on your must-try list. Book well in advance, because once you experience it, you’ll understand why it’s so hard to get in. 📍 Follow me for more local food finds, hidden gems, and travel-worthy dining experiences.

I can’t speak highly enough of this amazing restaurant experience. Not only was the staff generously accommodating for my birthday dinner, but even the ambiance, food, and service were all exceptional! Everything from the drinks, main courses, and the desserts were delicious. Noto is the perfect place for an intimate, classy dinner with authentic Italian flavor.

Google
The only complaint I have about this restaurant is that it’s very difficult to make a reservation, lol. However, the restaurant won my heart! The menu is perfect, and the pizzas are spectacular. I was lucky enough to try the special of the day, which was a Swordfish, and it was fantastic. The starter, Arancini, was one of the best I’ve ever had (as a fan of genuine Italian food). The staff is very kind and helpful. We’ll be back as soon as possible!

Yelp
If you want to try Noto out, make sure you make a reservation well in advance! The experience is worth the extra planning, trust me! The interior is warm and inviting as well as the hostess. A pizza oven is in the middle of the restaurant- that added a nice little touch to the atmosphere. The menu is carefully curated with flavors for each season. Tonight, they just began to transition to their fall menu with warmer flavors and away from the brighter summery menu. Everything listed sounded delicious, it was difficult to pick out what to order! My husband and I landed on sharing a braised lamb pasta and mortadella pistachio pizza. Both EXCELLENT! Paired well with wine too! This is our second time here and both experiences have been top notch. Attentive service, friendly- a great spot for date night! Excited to come back again in the future.

Yelp
Had a pretty good meal here for my wife's 50th birthday. My only knocks are minute. They asked if we were there for a special occasion and I told them it was my wife's 50th. That was never acknowledged nor was a free dessert or after dinner drink offered. That is totally fine, but it would have really bumped my opinion of the place for sure. Don't even ask if you're not going to follow up. When our allotted time was up the server rushed us out the door, which was more than a little off putting to me, though I get why. Our reservation was at 4 when the restaurant opens. At opening, the servers are seated at every table in their section and start the night off "in the weeds." We had to wait a not insubstantial amount of time for our drinks and order to be taken, etc. through no real fault of the server. The service was otherwise fine. The restaurant is small, like small small. Think your grandma's house in South City small, with a big wood fired pizza oven as the centerpiece. It's a pretty cool oven. While I wasn't blown away by the food, it was good. My pasta dish wasn't what I was expecting it to be, so maybe that turned me off a little bit. The Gnudi was balls of pasta and that threw me off when it was dropped off. It was pretty good, but every other pasta dish we had at the table was better. Arancini was good with a good sauce. I liked the bread with dipping oil and we were brought a second helping after asking. The salad I had was probably the best thing to me that night. It was very good and was a generous helping. I paid extra for a couple of pieces of anchovy on the salad, whic was probably not worth it though it was only $2. The pizza we shared for an appetizer was good, but not spectacular. It maybe could have used another 30 seconds in the oven as the crust was rather flaccid to me. The pizza was not better than Pizzeria de Gloria on the Hill, if that's a comparison. Both are good and I see the potential with NOTO pizza, but maybe this one pizza was a little off on this night. Drinks looked really cool, though I'm a beer guy and that selection is weak. Drinks and food were reasonably priced for what the place is I thought, and if we lived closer we'd definitely go again.

Yelp
Really have enjoyed all my experiences dining at Noto and this time was no different! They have a great selection of Christmas cocktails (see third photo) right now and the holiday pop up decorations are awesome. I ordered the gnudi. It came with five dumplings and it wasn't quite what I expected. The goat cheese flavor was too much for me, it was just thicker than I imagined. My friend ordered the tonarelli pasta and hers was amazing. I wish the portion was a little more but hey for homemade pasta noodles, I'll take what I can get lol. HIGHLY recommend the tonarelli. Then for dessert we ordered the tiramisu and cannolis. The tiramisu was more like a brownie texture but still amazing. Then the cannolis were perfect. Always love eating here. Also shoutout to our server Jacob because he is always providing great service.

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food in the area. Grab a reservation and go try it now. They have a few seats at the bar for walk ins. The pizza program is top notch. My favorite are rustic pasta dishes they offer. The drink program is on point too. The servers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Plus it's the best tiramisu ever.

Yelp
This is my favorite place for an early Friday night dinner. Get there at 4 when they open so you can grab a seat at the bar (or make a reservation, but prepared to make it in advance). The bartender is friendly and will be happy to tell you about the specials. Relax, treat yourself, get a salad, they'll bring you some focaccia with it. Have a pizza or some pasta. Everything here is delicious!

Yelp
After months of trying, I finally landed a reservation at Noto in St. Peters -- and yes, it's absolutely worth the wait. Noto is one of fewer than 1,000 pizzerias in the world certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, which means they're doing authentic Neapolitan pizza exactly as it should be done. We're talking imported Italian flour, San Marzano tomatoes, fresh house-made mozzarella, and a 900° wood-fired oven brought in from Italy. The crust? Soft, chewy, and perfectly blistered with that signature leopard spotting. I ordered the sausage pizza -- rich, savory, and just a touch spicy -- and started with the roasted carrots topped with shredded cheese and nuts. Those carrots alone could convert any veggie skeptic. I also tried a couple of their craft cocktails, and they were fresh, balanced, and dangerously easy to sip. The vibe is warm and lively, with the smell of dough in the air and that gorgeous tiled oven right in view. Service was welcoming and knowledgeable without being rushed, and the pacing of the meal was spot-on. If you love pizza, this is bucket list-worthy. Book early -- once you taste it, you'll understand why reservations are so hard to get. Yelp
Was very excited to get a Friday night reservation here! Reservations are a must! They may be able to accommodate walk ins or some bar service but make a reservation! Cutely designed like a pizza place in Italy, their simple menu is appreciated. Had the Aranchini. Served with a sauce with a kick it was a little bland but the idea is to mix it with the sauce to balance flavors. Still delightful. Pizzas were cooked as a Neapolitan pizza should! Slight char and flavor is good. They don't skimp on the toppings! Drinks. Quite an eclectic menu! Flavors that You wouldn't think go together. Snap pea infused vodka? Such a great combo! Plenty of wine by the glass or bottle for the choosing. Desserts as well but get the amaro flight! Great gem in St. Charles! Love the lemon decor. Great spot for any occasion!

Yelp
Been looking to try Noto for a long time and finally got a reservation as they're booked well in advance. Noto is what I call a traditional Italian restaurant where portions are small, freshest ingredients and great service. Located in St. Peter's, MO, Noto is the restaurant where an intimate dining experience compliments great food. Again, reservations are highly recommended. During our visit some customers were informed bar service was available, but walk in seating may not be available unless arriving at opening. Noto will contact you the day before to confirm your reservation. After our review of the menu we decided to get appetizers, salads and a main course. We did order a speciality drink and both were great pours and refreshing. Noto is know for its pizza and provides a diverse menu of pizzas and can accommodate any pallet. Pasta and entrees are limited but pizza is where it's at. I do recommend the Noto house salad, incredible ingredients and dressing will almost make you order another one! Service was excellent and allowed us privacy to enjoy our experience. Prices were reasonable but the experience makes up for it. Noto is a great restaurant and will be back.

Yelp
Came here on a weekend for a double date night. Our server got so excited to tell us about how much work the restaurant has done to achieve the VPN recognition, that we knew we had to get pizza. We got 2 pizzas for 4 people and 2 appetizers. Appetizers we tried were the carrots & the Arancini, the carrots were good, but I was inspired to try making something similar at home. The Arancini, very good, cheesy and delightful. For pizza we got the Fungo & Mortadella. They ask you if you want your pizza sliced or not sliced, I can save you from asking, if you'd like. There are reasons why they don't slice a pizza, but it comes down to, in Italy you eat pizza with a fork and a knife, so if you order a pizza unsliced, it is assumed you are digging in as such. We did get the Fungo sliced, since we were splitting it amongst all of us. The Mortadella did not come sliced, this is why, there is a lump (?) of Burrata in the middle, meant to spread out among the pie. This was delicious, I do love Burrata, what wasn't my favorite thing ever, the cold Burrata made the warm pizza cold. Since we are in S. city, I don't know if we will be in the "neighborhood" but if we are, I would totally go back.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. I've seen it all over social media and was drawn in by the vibe--it's a beautifully designed space with a great concept and a focus on fresh ingredients, which I appreciate. That said, the food just didn't quite land for me. It probably didn't help that I had Napoli Bros pizza last week, so that was fresh in my mind for comparison. We ordered the Salsiccia pizza, and while I was excited to try it, the flavor was underwhelming and the dough was a bit too chewy for my liking. We also tried the tuna crudo appetizer special. It was light and minimalistic, but unfortunately, some pieces of the tuna tasted a little too fishy. We shared the lamb pasta next. While my boyfriend and I usually differ on our preferences for salt, we both found this dish to be overly salty. I do love that they make their pasta in-house--that's a huge plus--but maybe we just picked the wrong one this time. The focaccia had good flavor, but like the pizza, it was a bit chewy. I feel like it would've been better served warm. One dish I did really enjoy was the Noto salad--it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. I do wish there was an option to add a protein to the salad, though. For someone like me who loves salads and tries to limit heavy carbs, there weren't many well-rounded meal options available. Service-wise, we had a good experience. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. One small thing that felt a bit odd: between every dish, they brought us new silverware and napkins, even though we already had clean extras on the table. I also think sometimes when a place is constantly booked out or all over social media, the hype builds up to a level that's hard to meet--and in this case, it just didn't quite live up to the buzz. That said, I may give it another shot in the future--now I know to check their ever-changing seasonal menus before I go.

Yelp
The restaurant hums with the sound of happy chatter of families leaning in over shared plates, couples clinking glasses, and the sounds of friends laughing between bites just like the kitchens of Naples. The brown rustic floors and lush greenery bring a touch of the countryside indoors while the warm glow of the lights softens the romantic space. At the heart of it all, a mosaic tiled white oven radiates both heat and the aromas drifting out mixing with the lively atmosphere. The confident staff making you feel welcomed and eager to make your experience truly one of a kind! The Noto Gem Salad was everything a salad should be -- light, fresh, and crisp. What set this one apart was the umami punch from the fresh Parmesan, shaved so finely it fell across the lettuce like snow. The leaves, just barely kissed with a tangy Italian dressing carried a balance that lingered with me for days after. The Neapolitan Margarita Pizza was a masterclass in simplicity. It's crust, airy and blistered with those signature cheetah spots. A vibrant San Marzano tomato sauce spread across the base brought a sweet, sun-ripened brightness, balanced by the creaminess of the fresh mozzarella and the fragrance of basil. With only a handful of ingredients, many imported directly from Italy, the pizza became a beautiful example of expert technique, proving that when done right, less truly is more.

Noto was amazing. Service was fantastic, the menu was great and seasonal. The ambiance was really lovely and we can't wait to make a reservation again.

Yelp
Intimate, romantic spot with classic cocktails and modern Italian charm. I wouldn't go there without a reservation though because it's unlikely you will get in. It was packed even at 8 PM on a Wednesday night. Sometimes you can roll the dice and get there early enough and find a spot to sit at the bar. Bartender/barista "Ironman" Dylan will take good care of you. Service was top-notch! I love the crystal glassware. It really lends a beautiful and elegant touch to the atmosphere. There is a decent cocktail menu and they will make you pretty much anything you want. There is a nice wine list that you can order by the glass or by the bottle. The menu is seasonal. We began with the Patata appetizer which featured crispy potatoes with a cream sauce and a flavorful bite of Giardiniera. It was the perfect size for two to share. I enjoyed the Delicata squash Neapolitan pizza. I really liked the sweetness from the sorghum. It is a large serving and I was only able to eat half. They have a dessert menu with the typical Italian offerings of cannoli, Panna cotta, etc. I love this place and I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food in the area. I love Italian, NY, and Chicago pizza. I am not at all a fan of St Louis style pizza. Noto's pizza is wonderful authentic Neapolitan pizza. Their pasta dishes are also wonderful. Servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the details of their menu and specials. A classy destination perfect for date night.

Yelp
My wife and I just celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary dinner here at Noto. Although we have been here a dozen times they never fail to surpass our expectation of service and quality of food. We downsized a few years ago and moved to the area, most of my friends from the 40/64 corridor will not cross the River. I tell them time and time agin you are missing out! 5 Stars are not enough. Get in and get yourself some!

Yelp
Amaaaaazing! The service was spot on, the cocktails were fantastic, and all the food I tried (and there was a LOT!) was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was nice, though a bit loud. It's not a cheap place, but worth the $.

Yelp
We had such a great experience. Our server was London and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. She gave great recommendations and knew her stuff! The restaurant itself is so cute and intimate. We tried multiple drinks, an appetizer, pizza, pasta, and dessert. The pasta was pretty fishy but tasty. The tomatoes on the pizza were so flavorful, I wish there were more. The appetizer was so great! I'd definitely get again. The dessert was wonderful! We loved our experience!

Yelp
All of a sudden, you're driving along and there is Noto! No trouble finding it as well as all the other diners in this justly popular restaurant. The pizza choices are unique and delicious. The crust is perfect! Service is polite, quick. Feels like a European bistro in atmosphere. Great wine selections and cocktails.

Yelp
Our second time in and it was just as delicious as our first! The restaurant isn't huge, spaced out well, quiet enough to have a conversation. Our server was also very attentive and gave great recommendations. I forgot to take many pics so we only have a picture of our cannoli.. For an app, our server heavily recommended the Fagioli. It was maybe not the best food I've ever eaten, but it was delicious and it was very unique. I can't say I've had anything quite like it so if you want to try something new, it's a good one. Similar texture to a humus but not like it in any other way.. for dinner I had the Tonarelli (a blue crab pasta with a buttery/creamy sauce). It was good, but the real show stopper was my husbands dish, the Pork Shank. So tender, so flavorful. Would 10/10 recommend. We did get the cannoli for dessert. It was just okay but to be honest, I have never liked a cannoli that I've had in STL. They're never sweet enough for me. So really my fault for bothering to order haha

Yelp
We got lucked out. Went there on a Saturday evening. You ever tried to make reservation you knew what I meant. Good things. Food was delicious. Our taste buds were in heaven for the dishes that we tried there. Arancini was a good starter. The sauce was what made the dish shined. The pizza lived up to the hype. You could tell upon your first bite. Hands down the best Neapolitan pizza in STL. Home made pasta also didn't disappoint. It was not the typical 3 servings of pasta on your plate with tons of heavy cream based sauce. The angel hair tasted so good I actually wanted 3 servings on my plate Service was good. Soft lighting (not romantic dark that couldn't see menu) Not overwhelming loud. Generous space between each table compared to others. Very clean and modern decor. Bad thing. Hard to make reservation. Parking was kind of tight. These were not food related though. We enjoyed our dinner at Noto. Totally exceeded our expectation.

Yelp
I decided to try Noto because I saw it made the list of top pizza places in the Midwest and was rated pretty high. Definitely be sure to make a reservation in advance if you want to guarantee a spot because they book out for the night pretty quickly. We first went downstairs to the cocktail bar and had a couple appetizers and drinks while we waited to be seated. The downstairs cocktail bar has a different menu of appetizers and drinks from the upstairs offerings so would recommend checking that out. The eggplant and meatball apps we ordered were delicious and our Spritz drinks were refreshing and perfect for summer time. They also let you bring your cocktails back upstairs when you get seated. Once we got seated upstairs we ordered the Nduja Rigatoni Cremosa which was absolutely delicious. We also got the Nduja Pizza and the Scarpa Pizza. Each dish tasted so fresh and you can tell that they use good ingredients. The pizza dough was perfectly cooked and so so soft. We ate every single bite. To finish up the meal, we ordered Tiramisu and it was presented well in a glass bowl. Overall, the meal was lovely and I look forward to coming back to try more of their pizzas and drinks.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience at Noto was! Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend a Negroni and getting dessert!

Yelp
Another delicious dinner at Noto tonight. The Gnudi may have been small but an overall "heavy" dish with a delicious sauce. The pork shank was a large portion and every bite was delectable. It did get a bit loud and was hard to hear due to some larger parties near us but service was good and food was excellent.

Yelp
We had such a great experience here for a date. Service is top tier. If you go, we had Ryan. He was awesome, attentive, and friendly! Drinks and food is phenomenal and their ambiance is cute. Definitely worth it - recommend booking a reservation in advance.

Yelp
Service 5/5 Pizza 7/5 Pasta 3.5/5 Ambience 5/5 Noto is a small Napoleon restaurant at St Peters. Reserving a table is a bit challenging, so advanced arrangement is highly recommended. Service is so attentive. Parking is plentiful. What we enjoy at Noto? 1) the calamari fritti is phenomenal. It was seasoned so well with fried onions on top. It's my favorite calamari for a very long time. 2) Nduja has distinctly wonderful flavors and perfect crust. I felt like transported back to Italy. Bravo!! 3) The lamb ragu pasta is lacking some seasonings, though we enjoyed the hand rolled fresh pasta.

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner at NOTO last night. One thing I like about NOTO is their menu changes seasonally which keeps it fresh and exciting. They have amazing Neapolitan pizza which was certified by AVPN in Italy. Service was spectacular. Charming atmosphere. I started off with NOTO house salads. Chefs kiss. Mortadella is a no-brainer for me. My partner got the Salsiccia. They were absolutely delicious. The whole experience definitely brought us back to Italy. We also liked the patata a lot. I did make a reservation one month in advance but it's worth the wait. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Excellent. Been here a couple of times so I'm sure of my 5 stars. Intimate spot. Reservations are a must as this place is consistently packed. Arancini is a must get. All of their pizzas are outstanding. Pasta great. Desserts great. Corkage is a reasonable $35. Good Service. Will be back!

Yelp
We sat at the bar and really enjoyed watching the Bar Manager, Dylan, making fantastic Cocktails! I ordered the Bacca E Fumo (Bubble) and it had a cool smoke bubble on it when it was served and tasted great! The Noto House Salad was great too! I had the Delicata pizza, and added Prosciutto my husband had the Salsiccia. We both loved our pizzas! We are looking forward to going back soon.

Yelp
I think I might have ordered the wrong things.. The food we got was so unremarkable. Their pastas were the highlight -- would definitely get their gemelli again. Mussels were overwhelmingly fishy. Pizza was so soggy to the point you couldn't pick it up. Flavors were just alright. It picked up again with dessert, but still expected a lot more from a restaurant like this. Favorite dishes: Gemelli alla gricia, cannoli

Joey S.

Yelp
5 stars does do it justice. This place is an amazing. The service, the food, the atmosphere are all perfect. shout out to the owners and their passion for the best restaurant in st Louis. Make your reservation and enjoy!!!! Let the servers guide you and you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
We love Noto pizza! I've always had amazing experiences here as far as service goes. We take the chance and sit at the bar and Dillon is always attentive and his drinks are top notch. The quaint atmosphere gives off that Italian nook restaurant vibe perfectly. The music, the drinks, the food, the service is worth the wait for a seat!

Yelp
After having traveled to Italy this year and having wanted to try Noto for well over a year, I was so looking forward to finally finding time to come. Unfortunately, we likely will not return. A more reasonable price point might justify a second try in case things were off, but for such a disappointment it isn't worth the it. The restaurant seemed welcoming and had a pleasant decor. Service was friendly, but disappointing in key areas you would expect in a nicer quality restaurant. Bringing a partial order of entrees and leaving others waiting several minutes is still to me a critical fail with a restaurant. Pizzas were moderately warm and did not approach true Italian quality. Our other entree was creative, but simply did not have a cohesive finish. The same could be said for the appetizers. It was just a combination of unique elements that seemed forced. Desserts were adequate, but nothing that stood out. I hope they work on improvements. Truly wish a local restaurant to be successful, but customers deserve an experience worthy of their time and expense.

Yelp
Second time here. Food and service have been exceptional both times. Ambiance had been great. Can also go to Bormio pre/post dinner for drinks. I highly recommend trying Noto, just make a reservation when you first can.

Yelp
Excellent food and drinks - also a great value, can't wait to visit again. Staff is friendly and helpful too.

Yelp
St. peters now has upscale dining! Noto is a very charming spot, that will leave you wanting to rush back. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, especially after dark with the lights down low. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I particularly enjoyed the fiori. I suppose I may have to travel to St Charles County more often now. Bravo.

Yelp
We had an anniversary dinner at Noto. The service is great, we sat right away with a reservation. The space is quaint and decorated very cute. The tables are a little close together, not a great place for a large group. We loved the risotto balls (ARANCINI), Noto salad and BUFULINA pizza. All the food is made in house and is so fresh and delicious. The CAROTA appetizer and MANZO pasta were good, but would probably not order them again. They serve homemade focaccia with olive oil. Excited to try other items on our next visit!

Yelp
Wonderful little Italian place and service and cocktails were terrific. I had a pizza and ate the whole thing. Manhattans were awesome with the addition of some fancy amaro to kick them up a notch. I will be back every time I'm in the St. Louis area.

Yelp
Our family dinner at Noto was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday and our server made it very special. We ordered pizza and pasta, and everything was delicious. We had a cannoli for dessert and it was the perfect end to the meal. The atmosphere and decor is wonderful and the dining room is small but comfortable. We will definitely return!

Yelp
I could go on and on about my experience at Noto! Wow what a delicious and feel good experience. I live in South City so it's a bit of a trek for me, but I had made it a goal of mine to head out here before the end of the year. They also recently just landed a spot on Top Places to Drink in St. Louis, so that really made me want to check it out. We had a concert at Ameristar, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity. I made a reservation about a month out (definitely recommend) since they fill up fast! We arrived at 630 and were promptly seated. The first thing I noticed were the awesome Christmas decorations, which were adorned on their year round greenery around the restaurant. It was so feel good and festive. I ordered the Hugo spritz to drink and it was made with super fresh mint. They have a great wine list and a great list of cocktails, as well as after dinner drinks. We ordered the burrata pizza for the table as an appetizer and it was fantastic. Everything was so fresh and delicious. High quality ingredients are definitely used. I also ordered the salad (I'm a huge salad gal) and I think this is probably one of the best I've had. The best part- it was $6 and the portion is huge! For dinner I had bucatini arrabbiata. Wowowow incredible!! Delicious pasta with cheese, olive oil, calabrese, and tomato sauce. The best part- a large piece of burrata on top! I loved every bite. For dessert I ordered an espresso martini, and my friends ordered the tiramisu and cannolis. The tiramisu was absolutely insane. The presentation was amazing with a bit of crumble salty crunch on the outside. I did not try the cannoli, but my friend loved it. The espresso martini was exactly what I was wanting. A little caffeine with the cocktail vibe. Already wondering when my next trip will be. Amazing!

Yelp
This was our second time visiting. We got a variety of starters and pasta (no pizza). I absolutely love having an option like this out in Saint Charles. There aren't many other places like it. I recommend starting at Bacaro and getting a pre dinner drink beforehand. Both of them are decorated beautifully and have a warm welcoming atmosphere. Service is professional and attentive. I would say the food wasn't the best I've ever had, hence the 4 star, but would come back and try the pizza next time which is their specialty.

Yelp
The service was great, fantastic! We really had our hopes set high for this authentic italian restaurant and we were disappointed. The calamari had a good flavor but was a little dry. The salad could have had a few more veggies incorporated. The artichokes were very hard and we had to take them out while chewing. Our entrees were ok. My husband had a pasta dish, which he thought would have more meat and the sauce was bland and the pasta was undercooked, more than al dente. My pizza margherita was good, there could have been more flavor to it. The negroni was delicious. There seem to be more campari than gin/vermouth. The ambiance was a little too dark and seem to be cramped. My husband is always cold said the temperature could have been cooler. We may come back and try some different dishes since we live in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Easily one of the best spots I've been to for Italian. The service is amazing from the moment you walk in. The food is some of the most delicious I've ever had. And it's a very cozy and intimate vibe which I love. 10/10!

Yelp
The parking lot is a little small. The decor was nice. They offered both drink and entree specials. We got the Apple crostini and Arancini as starters. The crostini was ok but expected it to be more Apple forward. My friend thought it tasted like makeup. The arancini was delicious as was the sauce. I had the rigatoni for my entree and it was pretty good. I waned a little more flavor but it was still pretty good. My husband got the wild boar bolognese and he enjoyed it. Our friends had the pork shank, which was a very good portion size and tasty, and the tonarelli which she enjoyed. Overall it was a good experience but nothing so great that I am dying to go back.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Me and my boyfriend celebrate our birthdays and anniversaries here almost every year. Inside is so pretty and they have the huge pizza oven up front so you can watch them make the pizzas! I definitely recommend making a reservation as the inside is smaller so you don't have to wait. Service is always so quick and kind. The food is exceptional! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. All the ingredients are super fresh. My favorite is the arancini balls and patatas appetizers!

Yelp
I remember J Noto when they were a little bakery, and my mother would bring my sister and me in for cannolis and pignoli cookies before school at ASH. I moved away long ago, but always heard about the incredible restaurant that J Noto had opened. After many years of visiting home and being unable to get reservations, I was finally able to get a table for two for my fiancé and I. The food was great, the pizza incredible, great organic wine recommendation, and the dessert was even better (an incredible cannoli and a bowl of hazelnut gelato). My biggest issue was that from the moment we sat down, the waiter rushed us. We like to order dishes as we go -- not allowed, you need to put everything in at once. We were halfway through our arancini and both entrees were out. Midway through our entrees, we were asked if we wanted boxes, while we had food in our mouths and we were handed a dessert menu. Once we were somewhat finished with our entrees and ordered dessert the waiter brought out the check quickly. I was going to bring back cannolis and a few other things for my parents, but we weren't even given the option. If we're going to spend $150-$200 for two at dinner don't try to turn our table as quick as possible. This is just poor etiquette. They had mentioned eating things the "authentic way", well hell, I can tell you they wouldn't rush you out in a restaurant in Napoli. I can cook as good a meal as anyone -- going out is for the experience not just the food. Ultimately, I'm disappointed for that reason alone.

Yelp
Good service. Clean, and decent customers. Pizza was just alright...mine was wet. Pasta and salad options lacking. Tomato salad was two half frozen tomatoes and salt. I'd rate it a 7.1. Wife gave it a 3.4.

Yelp
This place is a favorite date night and birthday spot for my husband and I. The most recent time we came we got a murrell mushroom appetizer and some pizza. I got the burrata pizza and it was delicious, highly recommend! For dessert we got a tiramisu to go since we were so full and it was one of the best I've ever had. Our waiter was amazing, he was so friendly and helpful with the menu. He came around the perfect amount, not too often or too little.

Yelp
Noto pizza is the absolute best pizza in St. Peters. It may be hard to get a reservation but it's so worth it. I love the light and airy crust and the fresh ingredients. This place has nice lighting to create the perfect ambiance for a nice date. Service is always great, which is always a good thing.

Yelp
Main dishes, pizza, pasta weren't good at all. And everything was WAY overpriced! The salad and app that we shared was probably the only decent food. Even the "free" bread was super hard and definitely didnt seem to be focaccia. Not familiar with many of the menu ingredients. No seasonal offerings and no tiramisu for dessert. Only reservation available was 800 for the night we went, but closed at 9. They seemed annoyed we were taking so long to leave.
