I placed an order online since I live out of state and I received a dirty pair of shoes from the store. I sent an email immediately after receiving them and have yet to hear back and it’s been almost a week. I have tried calling and nobody picks up the phone.

Store is beautifully decorated, and has an incredible aesthetic to it. I traveled in from out of state and was very excited to shop in store as it’s been closed when I previously traveled to Chicago. I was extremely disappointed with the shopping experience in-store. 5 total associates with 3 customers (myself included) in the store and they were too busy in their own conversations to check-in or even acknowledge anyone in the vacinity. Truly disappointing. I hope you have a better experience than I did because I definitely won’t be back.

Very thoughtful curated selection of designer clothing, shoes, fragrances, and home goods. Such great prices as well. Employees are very friendly and down to earth. Would highly recommend- beautifully merchandised store!

Wanted to leave a review specifically for the employees here. I live nearby so I’m always meandering in and everyone who works here is always so warm, welcoming, and friendly. They are super helpful but not overbearing, and overall just give off the best vibes. Rare to find these days!!

I had been wanting to visit Notre for quite a while. Finally had the chance on 4-25-22. It far exceeded my already high expectations. The building is beautiful and very unique. Never seen a boutique like it. To top it off, the staff, every single person, were incredibly friendly. They don't sell clothes that fit me and they know it and I know it. Didn't matter. They were so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful shop and saying hello to their great folks.

Great associates in store, beautiful space with a nice curation that includes new and upcoming designers. They also had an army surplus vintage section towards the back. Will definitely return

These guys backdoor sneaker releases to resellers. First person in line, and they don’t carry a size 13. How? If you need a larger size don’t waste your time and bother coming here.

I've a been a fan and a customer since , and then I had to make a return due to a sizing issue. After the agent informed me (4 days after my initial inquiry) they do not accept returns at their store I was provided a return address and informed I needed to pay for shipping to return the item. In the meantime I would need to buy the correct size for the item. So I did as instructed and provided tracking details. I get a call from UPS the next day informing me that the address provided was no longer in use by Notre's Return Department. I mentioned this to the return agent who "promised to make it right." Another 4 days later of no response or next steps I reach out and I was provided a new address to ship the item to. Notre wanted me to pay to ship the item to them again after providing me with the wrong information to start. A better way to have resolved this issue would have been to send me a prepaid shipping label with the correct address info. Alternatively they should have allowed me to return the item in store like I wanted to at the start of this request. When I asked the service agent to provide details on how they are going to make good on the error, they went dark. It's been several days and I don't anticipate ever hearing back from them. I was an evangelist for this store. Their curation of the store is great. Their customer service is atrocious. I'll spend my money at svrn.

DO NOT BUY! unless you want a headache, I ordered and they took my money THE SAME DAY but when I requested a refund to cancel my order they will no longer reply. it's been 2 weeks. I had to file a dispute with my bank to get the money back and still waiting. stating I won't receive it until another 3 months.

I like this place it's pretty much a hYpe beAst store. So ya picture a swag hype beast store and u r there. ThE flooring is cool too. When u walk in the brick is all uneven on purpose. I'm not sure how accessible it is tho. Cool candles and decoration! Limited stuff tho. I think the gamer, Ninja, was even there at some point. Worth a stop by if u r into hype beast or r one.

Bought online. No shipment. Called credit card company to dispute charge. What a pain in the ass. AVOID BUYING FROM THESE CLOWNS.

They have great pieces available however if you order online you will never receive it. There's a clear disconnect between the warehouse and the actual store. I placed an order that did not ship for 3 weeks- all to receive an email that the order was cancelled. Save yourself the money and the time and shop somewhere else.

I ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered outside the US, the website says that the delivery time is from 2 to 5 business days, I received the shoes after 12 business days. I contacted the support team after 5 days and he said that they don't deliver in 2 days but any further information, so why does the website say from 2 to 5 days? Misleading information. I never received a confirmation email for the shipping to track the package, same when the shoes were delivered. Now, I have to return them because are not my size and the process seems to be inefficient as well. I don't recommend buying here.

They had what I was looking for and at great prices with the sale. Their communication was efficient and the delivery was expedited ( in my opinion). I bookmarked them and will definitely use them again.

Unfortunately notre continues to have an extremely weak customer service team that has been persistently lackluster for years. I do a lot of shopping online and have shopped with literally dozens of boutiques around the world for the past 10 or so years and Notre's customer service is, quite frankly, amongst the worst. I've made the mistake of buying from them at least 4-5 times and they always drop the ball and are generally extremely disorganized. Is this place like a one man operation or something? I once ordered a few tees and one of them was not what i ordered. I emailed notre and they said " oh we have the tee you ordered right here please send the wrong tee back and we will take care of you". So i sent the tee back and got no response. When i followed up they said they lost the tee that i had ordered. What lol. And yet i continued to try to do business here and there. I once asked for simple measurements for a garment and they straight up said they couldn't do it. You can't measure an item? When most shops have detailed measurements for every item they stock? How busy or understaffed are you? I didn't think i was being demanding or unreasonable at all. And yet again i ordered an item and it took 7+ days to process before it even shipped. That is nuts to me. I have ordered items from the UK and the item is at my doorstep within 2 days. I know amazon has a lot of people spoiled but there is somwthing definitely wrong with your logistics system if it takes you 7+ days to process an item to ship. Expect to wait 2+ weeks to get anything that you order considering shipping time too. These problems have been consistent for years. I have been shopping with Notre since 2017. I see no improvement in their customer service. There are tons of other places out there that stock the same things. I really wouldn't give this place your business.

Chicago's most avant-garde menswear boutique. The space is grand. The employees are well informed & always willing to offer sound information on the brands they offer. I appreciate their socially aware approach to fashion. I.e book drives, sneaker drives etc... Definitely love Notre.

Ordered a hat from them a week ago and heard nothing back so I emailed them to see what was going on. I was told they would push my order up to ship out asap then out of no where they cancel my order without any reason.

Amazing shop with hard to find labels. Every time I stop in here I'm jaw dropped at how well curated this shop is. It feels more like a soho art gallery rather than a clothing store. My favorite parts of the space are the library in the back (where you can sit and read a rare fashion zine or interesting book) all while lounging on some beautiful, and iconic mid century furniture. The grooming aisle peppered with rare perfumes, apothecary items, and candles is my next favorite space. The shoe collection is also out of this world. The fitting rooms are even a work of art. Speaking of, the art changes often throughout the space which I love. Don't expect cheap prices. These are rare labels well worth the hefty price tags. Coming from Los Angeles I was surprised at how many great labels they carry. I bought a Visvim back pack $925 and a few pieces from CD Garcon. Knowledgeable staff who know their brands and super friendly. Love this place. Well done Chicago.

Limited selection, too pricy for ugly clothes, has little to none trendy items abs the store is wasting space trying to look trendy

There was a raffle for the Off-White Jordan 5s today. The store was suppose to close at 5. They stopped the raffle over 20 minutes early. I've shopped here plenty of times but after the way security was yelling, I will not be back. I got there as fast as I could after work and I'm sure all the pairs will end up in the hands of resellers.

NOTRE IS A SCAM! Ordered Nike shoes from Norte online, my cc was charged in full at the time of order, 10 days later after no correspondence from Notre I sent an inquiry to which they sent a canned email response that they were busy, and the next day they cancelled my order with NO REFUND. I emailed and phoned, no response. Finally had to file a dispute with my cc company and still no correspondence from Notre. BUYERS BEWARE!

Looked everywhere in NY for a pair of sneakers, finally found them on Notre's website. Ordered them on Thursday received them Saturday. Excellent price, excellent service!! Will definitely order from them again

Possibly a scammer! I have recently placed an order, Nike shoes, from this site. I googled and it seemed this store is legit. They cooperated with Nike to produce shoes. After placing the order, I realized the statement "Note: Beginning January 2020, Notre will no longer be shipping Nike and Jordan products outside of the USA." under the Returns and Exchanges section https://www.notre-shop.com/pages/returns. I sent three emails in the last 4 days but there was no response. I called the phone number few times but no answer. The call was forwarded to a voicemail that was full. I contacted them through Twitter but there was no response as well. The website said that the store is closed for business; the business hours for days in the week said "CLOSED". At this point, I am not sure what else I can do except wait for another day or two and then contact my credit card company. Hopefully, I get the money back. I am a first-time customer with a very bad experience. Please stay away from this store.

Someone at Notre must train the staff on good customer service. I went in with my son and made a small purchase which when washed, in cold water , had some weird color fading. I told my son that it wouldn't be a problem because when you shop at a good store you may pay a little extra but you will receive great service. However, when we went to exchange the shirt we were questioned about how we washed it etc...I am a 59 year old man who has been a successful trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and feel like I've earned the right to not be questioned by a retail store's staff on what I did to the shirt. My son's birthday is coming up in July and there are some items he liked which would have been a lot more that the lousy shirt. Now I have no desire to spend hundreds of dollars in a store that doesn't guarantee their merchandise. Lastly, there are a couple of great employees which we love dealing with but unfortunately they are not in a position to make decisions.

Deceiving business practice!! 25% discounted product cannot be returned or exchanged. Of course they do not clearly state that on the website like other ecommerce site that specify something is a final sale.

I ordered a pair of shoes from Notre's website. Granted I live in Chicago, the kicks were delivered to my apartment the very next day. That's faster than amazon. I love that they carry Vans Vault and will definitely shop here again.

Ordered from Notre online and they were quick to ship, provided great communication and resolved an issue I had with one of the items immediately. I would definitely order with them again. Customer service was excellent. Keep it up and hope to do business again.

Honestly, amazing people here. It's not easy to find genuine people with integrity at streetwear type of businesses these days. Owner is a great dude, staff is always nice and it's run the right way. Notre started out in Andersonville but now they're conveniently located closer to downtown here in the west loop. Essential place, really good addition to Chicago streetwear so far. They have a whole mix of brands that makes them uniquely placed compared to the other big shops in the area - a good mix of high-end fashion and super-friggin-niche brands that aren't anywhere else in this city mixed in with your usual streetwear staples. Plus their few original pieces have been killer so far. Really nice that they've been a part of huge releases lately. Looking forward to the future of this place, future collabs, etc.

I've been to Notre a couple times while visiting Chicago. I have ordered a number of things from them online and never had any problems. They have really great products, cool styling online, and a really clean space. My feedback for the shop is that they seem to keep a some product off-site from the shop, so when I wanted to try certain pieces my size wasn't available to try on when I was there. I also found the staff to be somewhat cold when I visited, mostly keeping to themselves and/or their friends while I browsed (once as the only customer in the shop.) I don't mind being left alone, so it isn't that big of a deal to me. If I'm in town and eating in West Loop, I'll be sure to drop by Notre every time.

One of the most unprofessional stores I have ever dealt with. International buyers beware. They don't honour returns properly and you will be forced to pay out of pocket. Avoid at all costs.

Awesome space that shifts often. Seems like they are consistently getting in new things. If they don't have it in, they'll order it for you. Really nice and helpful staff.

online service is absolute trash took one full ass week to ship jacket from date of order ships your package with horse and carriage then makes poor excuses to justify reason for shipping dumb late then another full ass week to get said jacket from date of shipping spare yourself the headache and order from somewhere reliable and trustworthy
