Where to Find the Top Argentine Restaurants in Miami

"Novecento is a lively spot for watching soccer matches and features a long menu of tried-and-true Argentine dishes. Start with the beef carpaccio or salmon tart before ordering a creamy filet mignon risotto or gnocchi gratin. The sharable picada criolla, a mix of chicken, chorizo, skirt steak, and empanadas, is a great choice to share. Wash it down with the Monkey Shoulder, a concoction of Scotch Whisky, honey, lime, basil, and strawberry." - Juliana Accioly

Miami’s Best Steaks at Non-Steakhouses | Eater Miami

"Novecento blends Argentine, European, and Pan Latin influences, with Argentine cuisine dominating the menu offerings. Grilled meats, a staple of Argentine fare, take the spotlight. Enjoy shareable platters like the parilla (grill) or order up an Argentine cut of beef like the entraña (skirt steak), vacío (flap steak), ojo de bife (ribeye), or lomo (filet mignon). Voracious eaters should go for the gaucho (36-oz. bone-in ribeye)." - Alona Martinez

Absolutely loved this place! Adrian the bartender is a true artist—his cocktails are not only beautiful but perfectly balanced and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying whatever he’s mixing up. The empanada was also a standout—crispy on the outside, savory and delicious on the inside. Every bite was packed with flavor. Great vibes, great drinks, and fantastic food—will definitely be back!

For our last night in Miami, sadly the experience didn’t go as we hoped. The ambience was dull and the service was just okay. The main issue was the food, it felt more like casual dining. I ordered a filet mignon at this Argentinian restaurant and followed their recommendation to have it well done, but it came out overcooked and extremely dry. The other food felt almost pre-cooked and just re-heated. Overall, the experience wasn’t great.

Jorge was outstanding! He took our order promptly, served our food in a timely manner, and provided consistent, attentive service throughout our visit. He also offered excellent menu suggestions that enhanced our dining experience. We concluded our evening with delicious desserts!

Alejandro and Ramiro were amazing !!!!! The drinks and food were awesome. I had the kale salad and seafood pasta, both were so delicious. Alejandro made my express martini perfectly. Can’t wait to come back !!!!

Google
An exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, with bold flavors and flawless presentation—every dish exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable: the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed. On top of that, the location is amazing — a modern, vibrant, and cozy atmosphere that perfectly complements the culinary offering. Without a doubt, a place we’ll return to and highly recommend.

Yelp
I had very high hopes for Novecento. The space is beautiful and open. Although looks very similar to other upscale restaurants. It's situated right in the heart of Mary Brickell Village surrounded by tons of other restaurants and City Centre Mall. I was ready for an unforgettable night. It was ok. The food was fine but I found for what they were serving the prices were not justifiable. I ordered the Funghi ravioli pasta. There were six raviolis on the plate. Needless to say not a very satisfactory dinner for $30 when you add tax and tip. My friends also ordered some apps which were also fine. Novecento isn't the place you want to go to if you want amazing food. It's good food. It's more for the ambiance, decor and sitting with your friends for a couple hours over a bottle of wine. I found it a little rude when the server came and just dropped off the check without asking us first. It was getting late but I think the restaurant was still open for another 30 minutes. There's nothing wrong with Novecento, I'm glad I tried it, I'm glad I tried it but they definitely have room for improvement.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place! We came for lunch on our anniversary, and it was great! We started out with the lychee gin and tonic- and let me tell you- it was truly INCREDIBLE. It was soooo yummy and light and refreshing, I will be trying to replicate it at home! Amazing! I loved it so much that my husband tried it and ended up ordering one as well! Next we had our meal! My husband got the chorizo scramble, which he enjoyed, and I got the novocento benedict (a steak and eggs Benedict), which was really yummy and somehow tasted lighter than it was! The service was excellent, the location was amazing looking over Brickell and the skyline, overall a wonderful experience!

Yelp
Such an awesome restaurant and I really want to go back and try their brunch. I came here on a date night and it was their opening night so lots of fun entertainment like a tango performance and complimentary hand fans. To start they bring you a complimentary bread starter and I ordered the provoleta which is a melted cheese appetizer and it is absolutely delicious. For my main course, I got the extrana streak and it was delicious with their chimichurri. As always I need something sweet after a delicious meal so I got the dulce de leche panqueques and I was in heaven. Next up, I have to try their brunch!

Yelp
I went to try the brunch miami spice menu and loved everything except for the dessert. I had breakfast empanada, which was so delicious as well as the bacon pancakes, which were to die for, but if you like your pancakes, a little moist you're definitely going to have to ask for some extra syrup, but they were so good. Crème brûlée is one of my favorite desserts, but this crème brûlée was honestly not it and you can even tell by the color. But despite that I would definitely go back. The restaurant was very clean and friendly ambiance. parking was also very easy.

Yelp
Nice ambiance but mediocre food Food: Had the Risotto de carne and regretted it. The waiter bragged about the risotto. It was dense, thick, and like eating stale gruel. The quality of the meat in the risotto was very poor. Tried a pasta dish too, and it was better that the risotto. Service: Decent service Ambiance: classy, modern, and inviting Overall cleanliness: above average Bathroom cleanliness: average

Yelp
Came here for a business lunch. It is on the 2nd floor of a building in the Bricknell area. Look for the North Italian restaurant and this place is upstairs not too far away. We were greeted and promptly sat at our table. What a lovely well lit bright restaurant with a massive bar area. Service: decent, not the most attentive waiter, but he did check on us a few times, but since we were talking, he also did not want to interrupt too much. Food: They do have a lunch option where you can get an appetizer, main, and a dessert, but I was not that hungry. My husband got the risotto with Argentina beef. I got the Bolognesa pasta. My pasta had the right texture and chewiness of fresh pasta, but it was all stuck together. The Bolognesa sauce was delicious, just wish there was a bit more meat. My husband risotto was very rich and again not enough meat. He did not finish his risotto. Restaurant cleanliness: above average Bathroom cleanliness: above average

Yelp
[New Restaurant Alert] Congrats Novecento on your new Mary brickell location! I had the pleasure of attending their grand opening this past Saturday and I must say, it is a major upgrade from their last brickell location. The food and service was excellent! So here's how my Saturday night at Novecento's grand opening went. I arrived at 845pm for my reservation but they informed me it may take 30 minutes to be seated as they over booked. Luckily, I found two seats at the bar so I decided to eat there instead. Eric was our bartend and he was truly amazing! Despite how busy the restaurant and bar was, he gave us excellent service and consistently checked on us. This is unheard of in my opinion, I usually have to chase bartenders down for attention. Thank you, Eric! Now let's talk about food. For starters, I highly recommend the beef carpaccio. It was delish and flavorful! Of course, get the steak empanadas - hands down, Argentinian empanadas are the best. For the main course, I absolutely loved the gnocchi with skirt steak, ufff! I will definitely be back for this and last but not least, dessert. Honestly, at this point I was in a food coma but I never turn down good dessert. Please do yourself a favor and get the dulce de leche crepes with ice cream. OMFG, fire! Be sure to check out my food ig for more @lagordademiami

Yelp
10/10 highly recommend! Thank you to our server/bartender John for the best service. The bottomless mimosas were a great price. The star of the brunch was the fresh, handmade, spinach & cheese empanada!! The crust was sooo good & flaky, shoutout to Chef Keith! We went back two days in a row for those empanadas. The smoked salmon toast was also a hit! And my friends said the burger was 10/10. Great portion size, great flavor, great atmosphere. Novecento, thank you!

Yelp
They just opened in a new location, in Mary Village, upstairs. The spot is so cute and bar looks fancy. I tried the calamari and beef empanadas- the calamari was sooo fresh, these empanadas are the best ones yet!! So crispy and filled with juicy meat. I already went there twice! The espresso martini was delicious also!!

Yelp
I had a really great experience at Novecento during my stay in Miami-Brickell area. The vibe of the restaurant was really nice and the bottomless drinks were great too. We got the octopus as an appetizer and it was spot on 8/10! With that said, those pancakes are the stuff dreams are made of. Bacon infused maple syrup with candied bacon on top, OMG. I love getting pancakes when I got to breakfast places and it's really hard for me to think of better pancakes I've had in my life. 11/10 for me! I would come back just for those. It's a must when you go.

Yelp
The food was amazing; however we came for bottomless brunch and although it became busy about 40 mins after we arrived, we were not well attended to. The restaurant is an open concept so you can see the food being prepared and it has a chic looking bar. Our food came quickly as we were about 2 drinks in (about 45 mins after arriving). In two and a half hours of sitting, I received 5 glasses of sangria. Whether there was a time limit on bottomless was not made clear to us. I would absolutely recommend the food but the bottomless brunch was devalued by the fact that we were not paid attention to in the time we were here.

Zaneta R.

Yelp
They relocated to the Brickell city center ! Brunch was bottomless and a true bottomless ! I loved the red sangria and the Prosecco ! The meat platter below was enough for three people !

Yelp
Very mediocre food in a mediocre setting. More like Argentinian Applebees than a real restaurant. Chicken empanada was cheesy, creamy, and very salty. Lamb empanada was very fatty and overly salty as well. The pastry on both were crispy but quite thick. The grilled octopus was seasoned well but quite tough. Side of sautéed vegetables was very greasy and salty. Service was very meh - not bad but nothing positive either. The staff at the host stand were apathetic, but the guy behind the bar was ok. Wouldn't recommend, but it's a casual spot for a hangout

Yelp
Enjoyed a birthday dinner here with a good friend. It wasn't where we were planning to go but we ended up here nonetheless. A beautiful establishment in Doral. We were seated upstairs. On this day, they had a special on wine so what wasn't drunk during dinner was taken home. I think all wine bottles were half off that day. It was a great deal! I enjoyed a steak. The guest of honor ordered a fish, maybe branzino, but wasn't happy with how it tasted. For her, something was off, but she did enjoy the wine! Lol The sides were also good and plenty. I didn't know what to expect going on but it turned out to be a nice time out for dinner.

Yelp
I dined at this restaurant for the first time and chose to sit at the bar. Everything was spectacular! The service, food, and ambiance were all exceptional. I had the gnocchi with a side of sausage, and my bartender, Ramiro, was amazing. I'll definitely be making the trip from Fort Lauderdale to come back!
google avatar

Maria J.

Yelp
Was yummy!!! The steak was great, the ambiance was great, the empanada was chefs kiss. It was like mushroom and cheese. I don't even like mushroom lol. Also got the mule- delicious. Our server was great: wish I got his name but will definitely return. Went on a Wednesday night!

Yelp
Was a bit hesitant to try out the new location as it wasn't very full, but decided to give it a try anyway -- and am glad I did. Service was excellent, the drinks were interesting (their version of a Pisco with a touch of wine was great), and the skirt steak was perfectly prepared and juicy. Also tried the empanadas which were very good. The space is a little small and the ambience is somewhat quiet, which almost seems out of place for the area, but it was a very nice experience. Prices were also not bad for the area.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was the star of the show we ordered 5 different types of meat. It was really prepared perfectly. The sausage was the best. We had great sides dishes the cheese was so good. We started with salads they were great the dressing was homemade. Service was excellent. The kitchen wasn't as fast as they could've been and somebody should've jumped in there to help the kitchen get caught up but all in all it was a great evening and it's definitely a must while you're in Miami until next time. Bon appétit. The drinks were a heavy pour. We had sangria, and it was excellent, not to mention the desserts.

Carla O.

Yelp
The service was poor. The empanadas were mediocre at best, and there was no diet coke. We had to ask for vinegar, oil, salt and pepper - all of which came too late and in improvised mall plastic cups (Texas taco style) . The ambiance was cold, with harsh lights and impersonal design. Paid for the appetizers and left to have dinner somewhere else.

Yelp
Happy Birthday to me! Staff and my Boss treated me to lunch here. Very nice. Upscale. The service was great. Price was okay but it was for a special lunch. The ambiance was nice. Nice and clean.

Cindy H.

Yelp
The new store is outstanding! The food is delicious, could eat here every day. The atmosphere in this new spot is wonderful. Perfect place for great food and drinks/wine. My favorite dishes are: the Entraña steak, the empanadas and the milanga. My favorite cocktail is the Mendoza Sour. Can't wait to try their dry age ribeye!

Yelp
EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS! The minute you walk in to their brand new location in Mary Brickell Village (second floor next to the blue martini) is a prefect way to start! Service, atmosphere, the food, the beverages, is EXCELLENT! I am not easy to please and this place knows how to treat their guests with EXCELLENT service! Thank you to Ariel and Raksha for paying to detail at all times. What else can I ask for? I was here Friday for Happy and I came back Sunday for brunch. Thank you so much! We will continue to visit. Feel free to look for all my reviews on Yelp before you visit any of your favorite locations!

Yelp
Amazing Food, Ambience, and excellent service from Waiter James and Manager Jorge. The Puttanesca is the spiciest dish ever. Make sure you order it no spice. The wine was picked from the finest grapes on Argentian soil. The Mojella with chimichurri sauce was tasty. The salmon was perfectly cooked. Best restaurant in Brickell. We will BE BACK!!!
google avatar

Nicki C.

Yelp
Food good but nothing special and the restaurant was overall nicely decorated. I'm unsure how I feel about the servers though. It seems they are overstretched as it was hard to get our waiters attention and constantly found ourselves looking for them. Additionally, at the end of the meal you're cornered into writing a review for X person for their review. Then after it was quite rudely stated that service tip is not included after most likely assuming our tip was too low.
google avatar

Gavin s.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for bottomless brunch and were quite unimpressed with the service. It was during a somewhat busy period of the day, because the F1 races were on, but I've been to places that were much busier and received better service. The bottomless drinks were not quite "bottomless," as we were here for 2.5 hours and only got 5 drinks (mind you these were not large drinks.) The food, on the other hand, was very good and was served in a timely fashion, but this may have been because we were seated before the rush of people arrived. Dishes that my friends and I were impressed with include the steak and eggs, the Novecento Benedict, and the ensalada novecento.

Yelp
Great food and service. The manager Brandon is a 10. I had the skirt steak and rice the meat was nice and tender and everything came out quickly and very hot. Great spot I will be back.

Yelp
Flew in for a cruise stopped in for lunch food was amazing! Best Lomito sandwich ever! Service a little slow.. But the food made up for it..!

Alyssa G.

Yelp
Norman was great, good food and good service. They were great at accommodating food allergies as well

Yelp
I really love the new location, the atmosphere, the vibe but.....the food.... I think it's worse than ever. I ordered a NY Strip with mashed potatoes and chorizo as an appetizer. The chorizo was tasteless, even the chimichurri, but the steak...was horrible. First the entire edge of the meat was burned, so the burnt fat was dominating all the flavor of the meat, then they replaced it with a new one so raw that the meat was cold inside. Then they cook it a little more, but the damage was already done, very bad experience. Also, the mashed potatoes were flavorless. Honestly, a complete disaster. Now I remember why I stopped visiting the old place, because the food is not good. It is an overrated restaurant. But it's perfect for hanging out at the bar and then moving somewhere else to eat really good food. To be clear, I don't have COVID or anything that changes my sense of taste, it's just that they don't know how to cook. The service from the bar-man was excellent. The worst thing, I was dying to eat very good quality meat, one of those days when you crave MEAT, in the end it was a complete disaster. If after reading this you decide to go, I wish you the best of luck. :-(

Yelp
Just had dinner at Novecentro Brickell. Worst experience ever. Despite been more expensive than other Novencentros, steaks were small, half size, came out cold, had no taste what so ever in any of them. I guarantee that if they do not improve fast they will close. Novencentro ownership take note. Out of 10 give them 0.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service - Jaime helped us get happy hour pricing despite the fact that we arrived right toward the end of the happy hour - super helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious!
