"This Japanese brasserie in a bustling neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg entices diners with an interesting range of Japanese specialities in the evenings – including sushi and sashimi, of course. The flambéed toro nigiri, for example, is a treat. Other draws of this place include competent service courtesy of a friendly and down-to-earth front-of-house team, and the pleasingly bright and modern minimalist-style interior, complete with a small sushi counter, where you can see the chefs at work. In summer, the outdoor tables shaded by trees are highly coveted." - Michelin Inspector

The 25 Best Restaurants In Berlin - Berlin - The Infatuation

"November in Berlin is a notoriously hostile month—grey skies, a bitter chill in the air, and a general sense of doom. Thankfully, the only thing this Prenzlauer Berg restaurant has in common with its namesake month is its ability to knock the wind out of you. Land a spot at the chef’s table, and you'll witness sushi masters expertly slice tuna toro and shape rice into nigiri oblongs. Ask the attentive waiting staff for a recommendation—they’ll say the whole raw sea bream, and it will be the best thing you’ve ever eaten. Once you’ve gotten over the beautifully macabre presentation and you’re dipping rolled-up pieces of fish into citrus ponzu, yuzu truffle and fermented lime zest salt, suddenly November won’t seem so bad." - olivia ladanyi

One of the best restaurants in Berlin. Great atmosphere (both for date or dinner with friends and family), excellent service with friendly staff, and most importantly delicious food with high quality fish and ingredients. We went for sea bream, red prawns, scallops, tuna tostada, blue fin tuna toro, seabass, risotto, kohlrabi and miso glazed eggplant. Every dish was excellent. We paired our dinner with a bottle of sake. My only point of feedback would be to improve the sake list as it was quite basic and limited. Overall, definitely recommend and will for sure be back.

Solid Japanese French fusion food. The flavours were very innovative. Really liked the flavours of the food, but I wish their raw items were a bit colder. The duck was also absolutely delicious and tender. The service was 10/10, and we really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Even received a few free bites throughout the night.

Wow. Where do I even start. Perfect service, 10/10. The venue made sure weeks ahead that we have the best menu tailored for us. The food was fresh, skillfully prepared and was exceptional. The staff are super friendly and professional, they tailored the perfect drinks to go along with our food as the meal progressed and were very kind. This is a super high-end restaurant that stands up to its name and prices. You get what you pay for and much more. I highly recommend this place, we had such a great night. Would definitely return.

I don’t eat out as much in Berlin, let alone order seafood cos the food scene here is not as impeccable as Paris, Barcelona or London. November wowed us: especially the food (standouts: salmon carpaccio, torched salmon nigiri, sea bass) and service (not pretentious at all, highly trained and well-managed staff, they know each others’ flow, sensitive of finished plates, highly knowledgeable). Me and my girlfriend sat at the chefs’ area, getting us front row seats + complementary nigiri that night. Incredible for a little date night or a group of friends. I never thought I’d get this kind of experience in Berlin.

I’m simply amazed by everything. The food, the service, and the atmosphere. My favorite has got to be the Grilled Sea Bass, the combination of the tomato puree, the white sauce and the crispiness of the fish skin = perfection. The toro nigiris melt in my mouth, so buttery & fatty big yumm! The scallop nigiris are bursting with umami & oceanic flavors too. Cute place, cozy & warm vibe. Staffs are so polite & helpful, highly skilled chefs too. Definitely would come back here 100/10❤️

Great dining experience. We ordered the Sicilian red prawns, bluefin toro nigiri and kohlrabi salad to start. All were divine. Then the duck and rissotto to finish. Great service and ambiance and exceptional drinks.

It was the happiest day of my life yesterday and no regret at all to celebrate my birthday at november last night. All the foods that we ordered were so delicious, absolutely stunning presentation. Really enjoyed every bites of our foods last night. The service is also top notch, so friendly. One thing that I want to appreciate and highlight also was my friend brought a birthday cake for me (but not from in house cake) and the woman who greeted us in the front door, just directly asked us if she can put the cakes for us in their fridge. And i even said to my friend that I might be possible that no other outside foods allowed in the restaurant. But this kind of small gesture from the staff left such a great impression and we really appreciate it! Among other restaurants that I tried in Berlin, i could say that November's service is one of the best so far. All your staffs are paying attention to all details, especially when it comes to the service part. You guys are doing such a great job! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also so nice and cozy. I only have lots of positive things to say about this place! I definitely will come back again and again and again. Love everything about this place, FOODS, THE SERVICE, ALL THE STAFFS, THE ATMOSPHERE LOVE IT ! big thanks to the woman who greeted us in the front door last night and Marlene, for the great service. See you guys all again, hopefully soon 😉

We had an absolutely lovely evening at November Brasserie. The food was delicious, though they were unfortunately out of the whole seabream (but this stuff happens and also we came very late). With how amazing the food was I am also not surprised. The cocktails are great and fit very well with the food without being overwhelming and taking away from it. Service was super lovely, David was very funny and attentive and gave excellent recommendations. All around we definitely want to come back and I would recommend anyone to go there

Yelp
This was the first restaurant we wandered into when we arrived in Berlin, and we sure got lucky! It was cold and snowy outside, and the candlelit tables, untreated wood floors, and navy chair railing were so inviting. I had the blood sausage, and my boyfriend had one of the fish dishes. Delicious! I also had the daily soup option and was not at all disappointed. We saw a large group of young folks (mind you, I'm 32, so these people were probably only 27 or so!) eating the 3-tiered breakfast trays, and those looked wonderful. A few days later, after shopping on my own in the wonderful Prenzlauerberg antique stores, I stopped in for a glass of wine and a few hours of mid-afternoon newspaper-reading. The service was lovely, and I never felt rushed to move on even though I only got one glass of wine. You can't find place more inviting or charming than November! The second time I ate there, I stopped for a picture of the restaurant as I left. Another man was taking a picture, and he turned to me and said (in German), I've been here twice in two days! So apparently other people like it, too!

Yelp
Taking into account that we were starving and it was a Sunday morning - good luck getting a seat in any breakfast place in Prenzlauer Berg - it was more than satisfying. I got nothing fancy, usual scrambled eggs with bacon. The plates were huge and I can't love that enough. Downside: you can't pay with a non-german credit card. Come on...

Yelp
Dinner here was surreal - it was a while ago but I distinctly remember arriving here after wandering through the dark and cold. It was like 9pm or something well past dinner, but November was aglow with orange light. There was no one inside but a waiter with a mysterious smile. He welcomed us in to a candle lit table. My family and I ordered and shared quite a few dishes: some soups, schnitzel with chanterelles, whole grilled fish, a mushroom pasta, and a couple of desserts. The schnitzel was the best we had after several weeks in Germany, and the dish was pilled ridiculously high with delicious chanterelles. Everything about the plate exuded generosity and tastiness. Mainly though, the reason I'm back writing about this place now is because of the service. The guy probably kept the place open well past normal closing time for us, and was incredibly nice about everything. At one point I commented that I really like the German beer mugs on this trip. At the end of the meal as we were standing up, he comes up to me with a new one from the bar and tells me to keep it as a little piece of Berlin. It's probably been almost two years now, but I still have the mug. Beer always seems to taste so much better in it

Yelp
This is our favourite place in our nighbourhood (Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg) whenever we want to go out for a relaxed beer in the evening and maybe some decent pub grub. Their "Wiener Schnitzel" is fabulous (and affordable) again and again, so are their pasta dishes, soups and roasts (yum!). The November offers a small menu which changes frequently, alas, we were never disappointed. Footnote: This used to be a gay pub, alas, in recent years is has become more and more mixed. However, on some nights (we still haven't worked out the pattern ...) do expect the November's patrons to be rather on the male side of the species ; )

Yelp
The food was good, the atmosphere was nice and well the only thing that made my experience here fantastic was the company I was keeping. Lets get something straight, yes I am a visitor in Germany, so no I will not have the german language down in a few weeks, so don't be a total jerk if I politely ask something in english, .. it's not directing a person the tea selection at the back of the menu but how you do it. Everything the server did was aggressive, I would've just fired him myself on the spot if I had the authority to. Not only did he sip coffee while we waited him on for numerous items such as food, bill, change, but when I had to get up several times to ask he gave me the worst rolling eye'd gesture possible. Whats worse is when my sharpness started to reveal itself the coward couldn't even look me in the face. On top of that when I wanted to take the rest of the plate to go, including fruits and breads, etc, all I got was a few slices of cheese. I would give this place a higher rating, but if it wasn't for me wanting to kill our server with my bare small town Canadian hands, I couldn't give it more than two stars. danke

Yelp
Free, fast wifi, and a pretty corner location pull this place above average. I've only had snacks there, so can't comment on the food.

Yelp
My GF's fish was delicious but I didn't like my meatballs, that my not be the fault of the restaurant, just not to my liking. Wine, service & atmosphere all excellent.
