Fantastic vibes! We host our "Sip & Style" event here and it is such a great space to host events! Leo, Megan and team are always so friendly, professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend to host and attend events here!

Google
Great spot to watch sports and have a good meal! I got the kombucha flight which had 4 flavors and all were delicious! My favorites were the watermelon mint and the hot cactus. The wings were perfectly crispy and the waiters were super accommodating for modifications. Will be back!

Google
We hosted an annual UCLA Alumni Network of San Diego event here in conjunction with the USC Young Alumni Association of San Diego for Rivalry Week. Megan made everything so easy to book and order apps for the group, they had drink tickets we could use for our guests, and guests could also order additional drinks and food on their own tabs. We plugged into the giant screens for our Game Show and they were amazing! Everyone had a great time and I've always enjoyed the beer and food at Novo. The servers were attentive and took good care of our group of 40. Thanks to Leo, Megan, Ava, and the whole team!

We had our rehearsal dinner here, and it was absolutely fantastic! Novo had such a relaxed vibe which is exactly what we needed amidst the stress of planning a wedding. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing! We went with a buffet/finger food dinner, and every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. There was a nice variety of options. There was some miscommunication regarding the drink tickets we requested and some of our guests did end up spending their own money, but was easily fixed, and we were able to refund the drink tickets we ended up not using. We also had a pretty large party with children that required high chairs, and initially there were not enough tables and chairs, but their team was quick to bring in more and everyone was able to be seated comfortably. It was the perfect setting for us to relax, laugh, and spend time with close family and friends before the big day. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a low-key but memorable rehearsal dinner spot. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Out on a Saturday afternoon with a friend out having drinks, decided to go for this place added to the mission valley westfield mall since we were around the area. I loved the outdoor sitting and kid friendly space with a playground, place is nice with open space inside and outside with big tv screens for entertainment. As we walked in we were greeted right away we sat outside, we ordered a para diem and carnival a dama. They were both strong and smooth, waitresses were attentive and checked in on us the entire time this is a great place to hang out with family with big open space.

Google
The food, drinks, and service was all great. I'm not sure if the staff was this friendly because they're new but they we're amazing. Definitely try them out. Their house wing sauce is really good. The ribeye was a little overcooked but delicious anyway. I only take photos after I tried it to ensure the food is worth posting and trust me this food was worth posting.

I had the pleasure of visiting yesterday for the second time and was thoroughly impressing. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. We went for a birthday celebration so it was a big party and they open a tab for each person or couple, small group (as you demand) that is just perfect to avoid the big deal to split payment in the end!! The avocado salad was a standout – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Each bite was a delight, with perfectly ribeye, ripe avocados and crisp potatoes, all the greens coming together in harmony 🥹. And the carne asada nachos? Simply phenomenal (forgot to take a picture). The meat was tender and seasoned to perfection, and the generous toppings made every bite a burst of deliciousness. To top it all off, their selection of craft beers is amazingggg!! They also have flavored hard & regular kombucha. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
Solid menu with delicious items. Service was also pretty good. I got the steak and yucca fries - the fries were on the soggy side so I recommend the regular fries.

Yelp
The food, the service and the ambiance. Everything went well during our casual happy hour with friends. I highly recommend this location for your next gathering - ps: try coxinha, empanadas and chicken wings for appetizers with the pineapple beer

Yelp
Stopped by on a stroll through the mall. Off the bat, a little confused at the seating. No one greeting at the entrance .. so decided to just walk through the restaurant and made our way outside. Perhaps a sign would be helpful to seat yourself? Or is it seat yourself? Wasn't sure but it worked out. We took a seat.. again no one to greet us, so we scanned the barcode and chose our poison. Made my way inside and found someone at the bar to take our order. Once food got dropped off we were not approached again (which thankfully we didn't need anything but if we had .. you'd have to go find someone to help). Food : Chicken Ranch 8.5/10 and Novo burger 8/10. Fries 9/10 very crispy, food was a win and came out at a decent time. Overall, prices are not bad, good ambiance, customer service could be better , food is good , would return if in the area again. Oh! And plenty of Kombucha and other drinks to choose from. Who knew I'd like Lychee so much, definitely getting that in rotation!

Mariana O.

Yelp
Super big place, lots of room I was surprised how expanded this location was. The appetizers were mediocre. I've had the calamari (not your usual, they looked like mozzarella sticks) and the chips and guac were ok. Huge screens and the patio outside is perfect. A great place to drink and watch games. The service I do suggest a more streamlined system because if not at the bar and I'm at a regular table, I get approached by 2-3 different servers but that's totally ok I get it. They were all so sweet and fun. This is my go spot with friends now

Yelp
Very accommodating!! We came on a Friday night and they were able to seat our large group + dogs inside. they also have happy hour from 3-6 M-F which had some bites/drinks for a discount!! The food was a little pricey but our group enjoyed everything we got, especially the carne asada fries & beef empanadas!! I just would not come here to watch a game as they did not have any of the live NBA games playing while we were there. There was college basketball & volleyball on if that's what you're interested in.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
We had the best time coming to Novo located in Mission Valley the place is spacious and they have an outdoor play area that my toddler loved. We came in to watch a game and they have 4 giant screens with multiple games. Prices were good, food was fantastic. I got their pineapple kambucha and it was okay. Service was amazing multiple people came to check in on us. Would def recommend and can't wait to go again!

Eric S.

Yelp
We celebrated a friend's birthday here with a group of about 20 people, and it was a fantastic experience! The outdoor seating was perfect, especially with the playground right there for the kids to run around and play while the adults got to chat and watch the game. The service was top-notch--servers kept coming by to refill drinks and check in on us regularly. The burger I had was delicious--juicy and full of flavor--and the hard kombucha definitely hit the spot. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking to host a big party, catch a game, or just enjoy great food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere!

Yelp
We needed a hangout spot like this in Mission Valley, and when this place opened in January, we were so excited! Novo is an airy, open space with plenty of TVs and great for groups or dates and even families. The place definitely has a lot of potential. However, the food is insanely overpriced and mediocre--$15 for frozen onion rings? No thank you. The drinks are delicious and fun though--we really liked the Mexican candy shots and they even have a mobile bar that goes table to table to offer shots. Service is friendly. My last gripe was the did not play the Warriors game! What kind of sports bar doesn't play basketball games?

Isabel J.

Yelp
This place opened semi recently in mission valley. They have a super large indoor and outdoor space and this is a perfect place to watch any sports! They have super large screens and you could watch multiple games at once. Also a place for large groups. They are known for their hard kombucha and have different flavors on draft that you could not normally get in store. They also have a good selection of beer and a full bar. I would say the food is just okay and kind of pricey for what you get. Nothing we ate was super amazing. The service was just alright as well, nothing special. I would say come here with a group of friends to watch the game and drink but don't really want to get food.

Yelp
Met with friends for dinner on a Tuesday night. The first time here, it used to be home to the tilted kilt and a sushi buffet spot long ago. It recently opened and has great interior and exterior seating. Large screens on the inside and outside. I saw some guys sitting outside in the mall watching the game from the patio televisions. There is also a small kids' play area, and it's pet friendly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came out really quick. We put in our orders before the crowds came for the game. The nachos and beef empanadas were good. It was hard to spread the toppings around on the nachos, but it was still good. I had the carne asada burrito. It was just okay. It just didn't have the same flavor kick as a smaller taco shop would. The hot sauce was a little off, too. It was more Chipotle flavor than hot sauce. The burgers were a hit, and the seasoned fries were delicious. Limited dessert menu, mainly ice cream, cheesecake, and lava cake. Plenty of parking. It's on the old Macy's side of the mall. It's a really chill spot to grab drinks and hang out. Not sure if they turn on the fire pits outside but if they do it be even better. Food was good but nothing I would run back for. But the ambiance is great for drinks and gathering with friends.

Yelp
A new location in Mission Valley! Not too busy on a Thursday evening. I came to celebrate a friend's birthday and made a reservation prior. There were people in there watching the soccer game on the huge high-quality TVs. Service is pretty quick and food and drinks were pretty good: - Sirloin (pichanha) con fritas -- pretty delish, comes out sizzling hot with ketchup and ranch. Quite filling and pairs great with the drinks - Picanha skewer -- their steak is really good and juicy! Comes with rice and black beans, which were very flavorful - Nova Sexy Mojito Hard Kombucha - got a half pint of this and it was nice and refreshing, definitely can taste the lime and mint flavors - Novo Sour Michelada - made the sour a michelada for a few extra dollars. Unless you're a fan of sour flavors, the sour beer might not be the best choice since the michelada rim is already sour. But a michelada would be really tasty with any light beer, though it didn't look like they had too many light options with most being IPAs.

Yelp
So you're at Christmas shopping at the mall for people you don't know, barely know and wish you didn't know. You're hungry, thirsty and desperate for some self-care. Novo provides. Friendly, clean, great food, and some decent holiday beverages.

Yelp
I checked out this spot on Thursday evening with my fiancé - there is so much space for seating at the bar, indoors, and outdoors. Plus event hosting space and several TVs to create a fun experience for groups. We sat at the bar and enjoyed catching some sports games on TV over our meal. The yucca fries were delicious, and great to round out our meals with a burrito and wrap. I was excited to try more kombucha flavors, as I first fell in love with Nova's pina colada flavor at the SD Wave games. My favorite is still pina colada but the watermelon mint is great too. The service was also awesome - we were greeted by servers when we walked in who told us to seat ourselves. Our server at the bar was also attentive and helpful as we made our choices. All in all - a great spot for dinner and drinks!

Tracie M.

Yelp
Great place to hang out for some drinks and watch some games. Very big inside with ample seating. The patio is cool too with lots of heaters and you can still watch the TVs from there. Service is quick and friendly. Cocktails are good but will come back to try the kombucha.

Michael I.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, a lot of TV's for games on... service was okay... not very attentive and instantly asked for a credit card for a tab, which is probably their policy but makes me feel like they think I'm going to dine and ditch. I had the carne asada nachos, the cheese was cold, and not very flavorful all around, the kids had Mac and cheese and quesadillas and neither of them cared for it. Most likely won't be back as nothing stood out to me except the TV's

Yelp
Nova Brewing in Mission Valley offers a fantastic spot for group gatherings with its convenient parking, tasty food, and ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The spacious atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy a laid-back meal or drinks with friends, while the diverse menu and flavorful offerings ensure there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking to relax inside or enjoy the San Diego weather outdoors, Nova Brewing is an excellent choice for a casual outing.

Yelp
Novo Brazil Brewing has opened a new branch at the Mission Valley Mall where a defunct chain sports bar and grill had stood empty for years. The location was on the south side of the complex facing I-8, but it was awkward as the suite was almost recessed in an internal corner. Plenty of parking was available in the lot because the former Macy's next door remains vacant so there were no neighboring large businesses. The inside space was vast with tables spaced well apart and numerous flat screens showing sports programming. The menu was spread across four pages with a lot of standard bar fare but also some Brazilian-based items. Happy hour was from 3 to 6 pm on Monday through Thursday. Seven appetizers were discounted by 50% while all beer, wine, and kombucha on draft were $2 off. Speaking of appetizers, I noticed that all of the starters cost at least $10. Chips and guacamole at $10 and regular french fries at $14 were expensive. I decided on the Picanha Skewer for an entree. Four cubes of prime sirloin were cooked medium rare on a skewer with red onions and bell peppers. White rice and black beans with sausage came as side dishes with the order. The meat was cooked just right while the sides were decent. Since I passed on a starter, I picked the Molten Cake for dessert. A small, warm chocolate cake round was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was okay but pricey for the serving size. The service on the night of my visit during the soft opening was interesting because there were clearly more servers than customers. Multiple times I had waitstaff stop by and ask if I needed anything even though they were not assigned to my table. I think they were antsy and looking to keep busy, but their attempts to help became disruptive. Overall, I gave my experience at Novo Brazil Brewing a 3.5 star rating.

Shawn P.

Yelp
Novo Brazil is a very cool new addition to Mission Valley Mall! I stopped by the mall while running errands over the weekend and it was very hard to miss Novo's very visible big screen tv's viewable to all who pass by! They have several locations throughout San Diego but this is the first in the central San Diego locale. Awesome setup with big screen TVs and a wraparound screen on top of the bar! Very very cool. Great sports bar vibes and I enjoyed some playoff football and appetizers at the bar. Great energy in the space, attentive staff, and a very nice menu with happy hour options. Awesome buffalo wings and quite the selection of beers, wines, and hard Kombucha. Will definitely be back to check out more of what Novo Brazil Mission Valley has to offer! Definitely would recommend!

Lauren B.

Yelp
Layout is huge and so many TVs Food is alright (not the most vegetarian options) Drinks are good Service is not good I thought it was just one time where the service was trash because we came on opening day. Gave the benefit of the doubt because there's a lot of hiccups and learned that they brought in staff from other locations to help. Totally understandable! Came about a month later and decided to sit at the bar since service should be better. We arrived at 3:15 and the guy helped us right away. He disappeared for lunch (assuming since we saw him again an hour later). However, during that time, not one person approached us. Our drinks were empty for about 30 minutes and we pushed our empty glasses towards the end of the bar so they could take them away. They did around 4pm but couldn't get their attention to order as they disappeared right away. Multiple servers walked past us but would look above us or to the side to not make eye contact. We finally got someone at 4:15 to put in a second order of drinks. Really wanted to love this place, but it's falling very short. We also were not the only ones that have felt this way about Novo. Their server model gives guests a lot of flexibility to choose your seat, tv, and vibe at the restaurant which is great but the service is sacrificed. Other spots that are this huge with a seat yourself model typically have a way to order online so you're not reliant on a server who may have to work multiple sections. I'm hoping they'll move to that cause it makes sense.

Andrea Q.

Yelp
Was here on a Sunday to watch the Padres game, I was very impressed by staff and the restaurant altogether. The screen to watch the game were large enough to all the tables in the dining room, which I loved. But my favorite part was when our team hit a home run celebrated with some smoke machine type things. My favorite part was probably when our server wasn't around. We were able to order things with any server and they kept passing around to make sure that we didn't need anything. Excellent service!

Courtney O.

Yelp
A much better replacement for the Tilted Kilt! I love that this Mission Valley mall is getting such great food options to offset all the traditional chain restaurants here. There are so many things to love about Novo. The brewery has a great open space with seating both inside and outside. The outside patio is perfect for a sunny San Diego day and the large tables provide a great space for big group gatherings. Novo has some solid food and drink options. What I love most are their kombuchas. The kombuchas are excellent! They don't have that acidic taste that can happen with a store bought can and they have such a wide variety of flavors. I enjoyed the peachy lychee, which was excellent. During happy hour, they have some specials including cheap half portion apps and a number of their beers and kombuchas for a lower price. Without the happy hour, the prices are pretty high! That's the only downside. Appreciate that they were able to separate our checks easily and service was great.

Maayan Y.

Yelp
We recently went to Novo to watch a playoff baseball game and it was so much fun! We had the hard kombuchas which were really tasty and the carne asada nachos which were also quite good for bar food. People were very nice and despite the high volume and busy night, mostly got the orders right and were prompt! On game nights it's a spirited place to be - lots of screens, fans, cheering and excitement.. so gotta love the noise! But very fun

Yelp
Tried this place for dinner the other night. I made a reservation for outdoor seating and the space is really nice -- large patio with two giant TV screens, nice little tables with built-in fire pits and a play set for kids. The service was excellent. It wasn't very busy but multiple staff checked on us multiple times and they were friendly, polite and accomodating. The beer was great and the food was decent but not special. My vegan burger was actually pretty good but my wife's ceviche and tacos were just ok. We all agreed the fries were very good. All in all, not a bad choice if you're in the area and want a brewpub experience.

Deirdre M.

Yelp
This place is huge! I would definitely come back here and watch another game. Some friends and I went to watch a Padres game and we really liked it. The food was really good, I got carne asada fries. They have beer and hard kombucha, not sure if it's a full bar. I got the dragonfruit hard kombucha it was also pretty good. We had a larger party so we always had two servers checking in on us. There's lots of big screens, plenty of tables inside and on the patio and parking was super easy. Nothing bad to say about my first time here, check it out if you're in Mission Valley :)

Steve M.

Yelp
Appetizers are not so good . I think poppers came from Costco . Nachos just as bad .

Patrick B.

Yelp
Large restaurant with large TVs all over. Seems like a great place to watch sports. Brazilian empanadas look good...didn't order any this time. Happy hour is Mon-fri 1200-600pm. Good prices

Danny W.

Yelp
Went to Novo to watch the San Diego State Aztecs for the March Madness tournament and we had a blast! I had the non alcoholic Guava Mint Kombucha and it was refreshing. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries and the meat was seasoned well. We ended up ordering the wings (Buffalo and naked style) and I would recommend them for sharing. I was impressed with the service because it was packed due to the game and they handled the crowd well. Atmosphere was 5 Stars if you want to watch an Aztec game! Very fun and I will definitely be returning for sporting events.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night for drinks with my boyfriend because we had been to the one in Chula Vista and it was pretty nice over there. But this one is so much closer to us and we had a good time! We made a reservation just in case but when we got there they had a sign that said to seat ourselves so we did. There's lots of seating and it's very spacious here. Bunch of tvs all around the place playing sports. It took only a few minutes for a server to come give us waters and take our orders which I was kind of worried about since we had sat ourselves. The only thing that had me down was that they don't sell spirits here yet because they're recently open so they're still waiting on their liquor license. The CV location had margaritas that was super delicious so I was looking forward to that but our lovely server (wish I could remember her name) helped me pick out a drink I would like. I told her I don't like kombucha, beer, or wine, and that I prefer cocktails but since they don't have liquor yet she recommended I get the dragonfruit kombucha because it's quite sweet and that their kombucha tastes better than others. She even offered a free taster of it and she was right! I did really enjoy my drink and my boyfriend enjoyed his POG kombucha though we were confused on what made it green haha We also got the carne asada fries and the cilantro sour cream was so creamy and soooo yum! Wish there were more pieces of meat but I loved how melted the cheese was! Can't wait to come back once they get their liquor license!

Mindi J.

Yelp
Excellent service. Very clean, big space and amazing menu. Wanted to try everything. What we did have was absolutely delicious.

Anna E.

Yelp
What a bright spot in the Mission Valley mall! We came on MLK day right before some big game and were able to find a seat right away. The atmosphere is super open and airy and there are tons of TVs. Shortly after we seated ourselves a server approached us with menus. We tried the following: -Wings with beer mustard: needed salt and could've been crispier, but not too bad. -Mediterranean chicken bowl: super tender and juicy chicken with hummus, olives, pearl couscous, basmati rice, kale, tomatoes and hummus. I'd definitely order again, but I'd sub the rice for more kale, since it already has starch with the couscous. -Chicken sandwich: this was a big juicy chicken filet with bacon, cheese and veggies. It also came with seasoned fries. It was tasty, but nothing new here. My hubby also had some kombucha, which was good, but a tad flat. Overall, for their 4th day of operations, it was very good! The only thing that was odd was that the food came out at different times (my bowl came first, then the wings and chicken sandwich came later), but again, really solid opening and I'm excited to have something new in MV!

Heather D.

Yelp
What a great addition to the Mission Valley Mall. Pros: lots of kombucha flavors, staff are super friendly, decor is cute, it's HUGE (inside and out), vegan options on the menu, pet friendly Cons: most of the beer are IPAs, staff is very new, sweet potato fries were both under cooked and over cooked at the same time. I got the passion fruit kombucha and it was really good. The manager gave me a sample of the raspberry kombucha and it was really good too. Coxihna was interesting, but needed more salt. Overall I think it's a great place. I would go back. Especially as they get more experienced staff.

Rita Y.

Yelp
I love the new Mission Valley location! My colleagues and I went to dinner here last night and everything was wonderful. We had chips, salsa and guacamole as an appetizer. I had the fettucine alfredo for dinner, and it was delicious! The staff was on it! It was all-hands-on-deck as many different staff members came by at any given time to make sure all of our needs were met! Exceptional team work. I love the giant screens in here and it will be perfect for watching football games in the future. I look forward to visiting Novo Mission Valley again soon!

Yelp
Novo Brazil just opened up a location in Mission Valley this week and they were showing the NWSL Draft on a Friday evening, so we figured why not give it a try? We've been to a few Novo locations in the South Bay and we really enjoy the big space and large screens for just about any sport you can think of! If you're coming here specifically to watch a game, make sure you call ahead just to confirm - they have multiple areas and many screens throughout the restaurant. Food was pretty standard. We got chips, guac & salsa for our appetizer, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the Alfredo pasta. The chips, guac & salsa were yummy. The buffalo chicken sandwich came with crispy fries and the sandwich itself was generous in size. The Alfredo pasta was a little too salty and was just ok - probably won't order this again. Minus one star because the main entrees did not arrive together - I normally wouldn't mind this but it was a 15+ minute difference. We got the POG beers which is our go-to when going to Novo. They have a good selection of drinks. The service was great. I know it's their opening week and this location is still trying to refine their processes, but I thought the team worked well tonight. Parking: This is located in the Mission Valley Mall, but there's also a parking lot right outside of the front entrance which is very convenient if you're looking to come in and out vs. strolling around the mall.

Erika T.

Yelp
My husband and I have been going to Novo Brewery before it was cool - when it opened its first location in Eastlake (no, not the Otay Ranch Mall one - the other one that's hidden - the original one). This location is their newest addition, but I have to say I'm very impressed by their level of professionalism. I highly recommend checking out the happy hour (because everything is expensive with inflation). This place is family friendly too - and I love the ambiance and the fact it's a little hidden. The food was pretty good too - I ordered the burger and fries - that's my favorite so far, but I'll need to try other items to let you know how the rest of the food fares. I'm thinking of doing my milestone birthday here... if I do, I'll send a follow up review regarding how they do with events.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Mediocre food, really poor service, delicious Mac and cheese. Our waiter came up to the table once over the span of an hour after taking orders. I had to ask the bar to refill my drink- and the restaurant was not busy.

J C.

Yelp
Service is terrible over 1 hour to order a drink ! Still have not received it ! Hire faster bar tenders or more people . Ignored 5 times , when someone was about to take our order they honked a horn and they left . Very disappointed :( . Just trying to have a fun time on a Sunday with friends . Ignored time and time again this is hands down worst service ever. Any bar in the world would be better than Novo and Ps. Your beer and kombuchas suck .

Yelp
The staff were all amazing last night! Went here with a large group of 14 to celebrate my husband's birthday. the staff were helpful in helping set up a large table & moving some tables & chairs. Throughout the night, everyone was so attentive & kind. From the gentleman at the host stand, to the bartenders, to the wait staff taking everyone's orders. Facility is huge, clean, & has nice decor. They also have a large outdoor space. Thank you Novo for a great night.

Yelp
Novo Brazil in the Westfield Mission Valley Mall took over the space once held by Tilted Kilt. The layout is very spacious with ample seating for small groups to large groups. Bar seating and outdoor seating is also available. As a big fan of Novo Kombucha I was excited to dine at their establishment for lunch. I relished in the fact that they have a large selection of kombucha in which I got a flight as there are many flavors I have yet to try. My flight was delicious and I highly recommend getting it as it allows you to sample their abundant selection. Service was great and prompt as the staff frequently checked on us. As far as the food, I was surprised how pricey selections were considering the menu didn't have any standouts. The happy hour menu was not a good deal at all as we were comparing the regular price of an item and calculated it was cheaper to get the regular menu item. Happy Hour items should be a deal or at least cheaper in some way to make it seem like the customer is getting a good deal.

Yelp
I want to start with a big thank you. All the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary/allergy needs as well as my space needs. I really enjoyed sitting outside in their spacious outdoors. Chad went above and beyond to make sure I could eat all my favorites: Farofa and Yucca and made them special so that I wouldn't have an allergic reaction. You were friendly, kind, accommodating, and just awesome! I tried multiple beers and they were really tasty, the Chula being my favorite, which brings me to Jo. Jo, thank you so much for the awesome recommendation which pushed me to try the Chula. Thank you for your attentive engagement and keeping us safe and your friendliness while going above and beyond. I appreciated your kindness and how engaging you were while also giving us our space and making sure we were taking care of. Igor, thank you for going back and forth and making sure that the Farofa was safe for me to eat and being kind and friendly, I appreciate you. Stephanie, thank you for taking accountability and willing to shift your engagement so that I can feel safer in my experience. I appreciate your kindness and friendliness. I really enjoyed my time, the drinks, the food, the space and the amazing service I received. Thank you!

Yelp
Nice and big in this place, sirloin skewers are 10/10. Happy hour menu kinda sucks tho. Easy to get seated and great place to watch football.

Yelp
Came here for football playoffs.... Food is good, nice tv set up... but OMG it was sooooo insanely loud- the TVs and speakers, i literally had to step outside. Besides that it's a cool place to go... service is hit or miss. The first time we went it was great, the 2nd time not so much. Our waiter kept saying how much money he makes and then said bussing tables is below his pay grade when we asked for our empty dishes to be removed. Can't remember his name, but he's the one with the ram tattoo on the back of his head. Not sure if it was meant to be funny or what, but he did in fact NOT clear our dishes and sent someone else to do it.

Yelp
Basic food unfortunately lots of items were not available. Service is great, the ambience is good for a sports bar.

Yelp
Novo Mission Valley should get bonus points, bonus stars or just more kudos than can be put here. I made a reservation for a work event for 25 people, we had about 30 show up and our group showed up in waves vice all at once. The Novo team handled this superbly. A couple of highlights: The location is massive. Plenty of room for two or 20, and roomy - not smashed together. Inside and outside areas are available. Tons of screens to watch sports, ect The menu is the same as other Novos - so, very good and enough to choose from food wise. Drinks are non traditional. This might put some folks off, but honestly, it's a welcome break from SD's typical brewery drinks. Staff is friendly, helpful and manages a group pretty well. The caveat - this location had only been open 2 weeks, and I didn't know. This is a tribute to a team that nailed it, despite our eclectic and ever growing group. Definitely great for groups, very refreshing alternative to the norms and down right good service. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This Brazilian brewery is a hidden gem. Perfect spot to watch sports and UFC fights. I was here watching the game: Mexico vs Jamaica at the bar top. Tv screens and big screens at every angle. Bartender Cairo was friendly and recommended a drink called Momo, crisp and refreshing. I had someone special meet me at the bar and Kyle was very attentive by providing me a chair. The overall experience was phenomenal. Friendly environment, exceptional service, awesome drinks, I didn't try the food but from the person sitting next to me it look delicious. I'm definitely coming back.

Yelp
I'm a Novo fan and have hit most of their locations. This spot could be their flagship restaurant due to the location and the game/fight watching experience. The tables are spaced out evenly and they have an outdoor patio should you choose to be in the hopefully warm weather. All your Novo food staples you'd find in Chula Vista and IB you will find here. That being said I enjoyed my Orange Brunch booch, some empanadas, and wings on my first trip out here. The old Tilted Kilt location has finally been filled with a legit restaurant and bar.

Yelp
Love this place! It's in a little corner of the mission valley mall, the place is so fun and colorful. Self seating and the server will come right up to you it's great.

Yelp
Tons of TVs making it the best spot to watch sporting events. However, it is difficult to get a TV changed to a specific game. Asked for the Lakers game to be turned on and the person in charge of the TV situation searched for the game for about 1 minutes and then turned on a Poker Tournament instead when they couldn't find the channel. Wish there were more booth or lounge seating. The food is good and comes in large portions, however it is pricey. Asked for a specific game to be put on a TV and the person in charge of TV situation tried searching for the game (Lakers) for about 1 minute and then put on a Poker Tournament.

Yelp
Solid place. Just opened on Friday. They have giant TVs and the play the audio for the big games. Service was good, but the food fell a little short for me. It's a bit pricey as well for the food. Only have Nova beer/Kombucha/Seltzers in draft. Overall, it's a nice place to stop by for day game.

Yelp
Great new spot located in Mission Valley Mall. Tons of seating, multiple tvs, including two large tvs for watching sports games. Casual atmosphere, great service, and kid friendly! They have a great selection of hard kombucha, beers, and hard seltzers. Their made in house strawberry lemonade is also a delicious non-alcoholic choice. The food was great as well. We especially loved the burger and the Mac n cheese. Plenty of healthy options as well. I want to come back with a group of friends for happy hour and beer towers.
