"Novo Cucina’s chef prep station sits right near the entrance, where you can see chunks of potato dough being hand rolled, cut, and pressed into pillows of gnocchi. Take that as a sign to order them since these fluffy morsels make any similar dishes in the city taste like dollar store playdough. While that’s the best dish here, this Dunwoody restaurant excels in a number of categories. Housemade flat noodles like tagliatelle barely need chewing. Fire-charred pizzas make good starters for the table. And creamy, made-daily gelatos come in more flavors than you’ll find at an ice shop (try the banana pudding). Come for lunch or dinner, and grab a seat on the tree-lined patio, which is guaranteed to fill with families, coworkers, and neighborhood regulars." - nina reeder, jacinta howard, juli horsford

"The must-order at Dunwoody's Novo Cucina is the fantastic gnocchi alla vodka, which makes any similar dishes in the city taste like dollar store playdough. They're so confident in this dish, they put the prep station right near the entrance, where staff hand roll pillows of gnocchi, almost daring you to order something else. But even if you stray here (though you shouldn't), it's not a complete loss, since this Italian restaurant excels in a number of categories. Housemade flat noodles like tagliatelle barely need chewing. Fire-charred Neapolitan pizzas make good starters for the table. And creamy, made-daily gelatos come in more flavors than you’ll find at an ice cream shop (try the banana pudding). Come for lunch or dinner, and grab a seat on the tree-lined patio, which is guaranteed to fill with families, coworkers, and neighborhood regulars. Food Rundown photo credit: Nina Reeder Margherita Pizza The crust pillows nicely around the edges but is cracker-thin in the middle. It’s not making our best pizza list, but it's a solid take on a Neapolitan pie and a great order as a starter to your pasta meal. Carciofi alla Giudia Order this. The fried artichokes have crispy edges, tender middles, and come with a creamy garlic aioli, which you should generously spread overtop. Caesar It’s a decent caesar salad and heavily dressed for the “extra sauce” folks. video credit: Nina Reeder Gnocchi Con Pomodoro E Panna This fantastic dish will right the wrongs of all the failed, gummy, tasteless gnocchi that you’ve encountered before. The potato pasta is as soft as a marshmallow and coated in a thick cheesy tomato sauce. Tagliatelle ai Funghi The soft-chewy noodles soak up the creamy mushroom sauce. It’s warm, comforting, and everything you want in a pasta." - Nina Reeder

"This Dunwoody neighborhood restaurant is known for pasta and pizza, but it’s worth noting the gelato here is outstanding. It’s made in house (originally helmed by Meridith Ford, owner of Cremalosa) and is incredibly rich and creamy. There are seasonal flavors, but regular flavors on the menu include hazelnut Nutella swirl and pistachio." - Eater Staff, Lia Picard

First time visit with our family who rate this as one of their very favorites. After our visit we see why. Service and atmosphere wonderful. We had app, four entrees and several gelato scoops and they all exceeded our expectations. One of our best restaurant outings in Atlanta area!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! Phenomenal food - homemade pasta - and wonderful service. I loved the atmosphere and it felt like a very elevated experience. I got the spinach and cheese ravioli with sage and an aged balsamic and it was the best ravioli!!! It tasted so fresh and delicious. 100000/10 🤤 The mussels were also very good. I was able to call and get a same-day reservation for two, so that was awesome!

Great, upscale Italian dining experience in the Atlanta area. The meatballs were outstanding and the pizza was pretty good. Standout dish for me was the Gnocchi. I added Crispy Pancetta to it and they were excellent. Fluffy pillows of potato with a rich tomato cream sauce. Also, try some flavors of Gelato for dessert. Even if you get one scoop you can ask to split and get two flavors. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This was an excellent dining experience. The decor of the restaurant was nice, relaxing and very welcoming. The restaurant was clean, including the outside seating area. All of the food from the appetizer to the main meal to dessert and the coffee was excellent. Everything was very flavorful without being over seasoned. The food was freshly made, and above all it was hot. My server, Walter, was excellent and knowledgeable. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in many years. I highly recommend dining here!

My buddy wanted to eat here cause I’ve never been before and he has. We arrived when they opened and it’s a seat yourself which I’m okay with. Our server was awesome and she did a great job checking on us throughout our meal. Everything tasted amazing and a great vibe can be felt. I would definitely recommend trying if in the area. I can see parking being a pain if you come during busy hours.

Love this place. Great for date with friends or just a weeknight dinner on your own. The Botanist is usually my cocktail of choice, Tagliatelle funghi is my favorite dish and for dessert dark chocolate sorbetto. Delish

Wonderful Italian restaurant with delicious pasta dishes, pizza and more. Have dined here a handful of times because it's so good. Like to share a pizza for an appetizer and a pasta dish for main entré. They do offer gluten free pizza and pasta penne for several of their pasta dishes. Everything is delicious and you have to try their desserts / gelato! Will be back.

This was an amazing experience. We sat at the bar where Michelle and Caleb were fantastic and had great recommendations. Everything was outstanding. Cannot wait to return!
