Great Italian Restaurants In Atlanta

"Novo Cucina’s chef prep station sits right near the entrance, where you can see chunks of potato dough being hand rolled, cut, and pressed into pillows of gnocchi. Take that as a sign to order them since these fluffy morsels make any similar dishes in the city taste like dollar store playdough. While that’s the best dish here, this Dunwoody restaurant excels in a number of categories. Housemade flat noodles like tagliatelle barely need chewing. Fire-charred pizzas make good starters for the table. And creamy, made-daily gelatos come in more flavors than you’ll find at an ice shop (try the banana pudding). Come for lunch or dinner, and grab a seat on the tree-lined patio, which is guaranteed to fill with families, coworkers, and neighborhood regulars." - nina reeder, jacinta howard, juli horsford

Novo Cucina - Review - Dunwoody - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The must-order at Dunwoody's Novo Cucina is the fantastic gnocchi alla vodka, which makes any similar dishes in the city taste like dollar store playdough. They're so confident in this dish, they put the prep station right near the entrance, where staff hand roll pillows of gnocchi, almost daring you to order something else. But even if you stray here (though you shouldn't), it's not a complete loss, since this Italian restaurant excels in a number of categories. Housemade flat noodles like tagliatelle barely need chewing. Fire-charred Neapolitan pizzas make good starters for the table. And creamy, made-daily gelatos come in more flavors than you’ll find at an ice cream shop (try the banana pudding). Come for lunch or dinner, and grab a seat on the tree-lined patio, which is guaranteed to fill with families, coworkers, and neighborhood regulars. Food Rundown photo credit: Nina Reeder Margherita Pizza The crust pillows nicely around the edges but is cracker-thin in the middle. It’s not making our best pizza list, but it's a solid take on a Neapolitan pie and a great order as a starter to your pasta meal. Carciofi alla Giudia Order this. The fried artichokes have crispy edges, tender middles, and come with a creamy garlic aioli, which you should generously spread overtop. Caesar It’s a decent caesar salad and heavily dressed for the “extra sauce” folks. video credit: Nina Reeder Gnocchi Con Pomodoro E Panna This fantastic dish will right the wrongs of all the failed, gummy, tasteless gnocchi that you’ve encountered before. The potato pasta is as soft as a marshmallow and coated in a thick cheesy tomato sauce. Tagliatelle ai Funghi The soft-chewy noodles soak up the creamy mushroom sauce. It’s warm, comforting, and everything you want in a pasta." - Nina Reeder

17 Decadent and Delightful Desserts to Try Right Now in Atlanta

"This Dunwoody neighborhood restaurant is known for pasta and pizza, but it’s worth noting the gelato here is outstanding. It’s made in house (originally helmed by Meridith Ford, owner of Cremalosa) and is incredibly rich and creamy. There are seasonal flavors, but regular flavors on the menu include hazelnut Nutella swirl and pistachio." - Eater Staff, Lia Picard

Google
I really enjoyed having lunch here. The food was fresh and you could tell that quality and care went into making our dishes! The Clam Linguine is a must if you're a seafood lover, and I had some of the best fried Calamari I've ever tasted. Dessert is top tier. The server could have been better, just quite slow and not as attentive as she should have been. All in all... I'd eat here again in a heartbeat. I'll be back!

Google
I genuinely love coming here! It’s always so pleasant sitting outside with friends or family and just eating good Italian fare, and everyone here is so nice and accommodating. Their Affogato with Dark Chocolate Gelato is the absolute best - the espresso is incredibly strong, just like the gelato!

Google
Drinks, service and food were worth the wait. They were very busy for a weekday so there seems to be lots of regulars. Service was attentive and the ambiance was great for an intimate dinner or special occasion.

If you wanna get a taste of Italian food do visit this place. Their margarita pizza was yummy that we ended up having more than one. Great selection of wines. Don’t miss out experience service in the atmosphere all very impressive that I couldn’t believe I was feeling like I was 100 miles away from Atlanta, but I was in the city

Google
Food was pretty good. Pricey so my expectations were set pretty high. Two of my family members got ravioli which they loved. I got the lasagna and it was not my favorite but good. We tried multiple appetizers. I recommend the arancini. I was disappointed by the focaccia. It was thin. The tiramisu and caramel gelato were delicious. If I lived in the area I'd go buy just to pick up some gelato.

Google
We had great service today from a young lady in the sunroom. The sunroom is such a a great atmosphere from the lighting to the open French doors and tiled floors. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and the shrimp with squid pasta, which was the daily special. Both dishes were excellent, and the gelato is to die for.

Google
If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! Phenomenal food - homemade pasta - and wonderful service. I loved the atmosphere and it felt like a very elevated experience. I got the spinach and cheese ravioli with sage and an aged balsamic and it was the best ravioli!!! It tasted so fresh and delicious. 100000/10 🤤 The mussels were also very good. I was able to call and get a same-day reservation for two, so that was awesome!

Google
First time visit with our family who rate this as one of their very favorites. After our visit we see why. Service and atmosphere wonderful. We had app, four entrees and several gelato scoops and they all exceeded our expectations. One of our best restaurant outings in Atlanta area!

Yelp
definitely our favorite go-to restaurant. Novo Cucina never disappoints! The atmosphere is relaxing and inciting. No TVs on the walls! in cooler months, the flames of the Patti heaters as earth as well as ambiance. The pizzas are a favorite go to meal with several unique combinations. The Tiramisu is fantastic!

Yelp
This has to be one my personal favorite places. The lighting, the layout, the simplicity - love this spot. Food is seriously awesome. Like goooooood. The vodka cream was so good - plate licking level good and the pizza dough is great ! Staff were nice, we came at peak hour and they tried their best to accommodate us. The patio is beautiful and I can't wait to be back to check it out.

Yelp
This Italian restaurant is a solid one. My mom loves this place, so that's why we keep coming back. The service is always pleasant and what you'd expect. I wouldn't say I have a favorite dish here but the sausage rage with sage cream stands out slightly for me. My mom ALWAYS gets the tres pea, which I don't think is on the official menu anymore but they will make it. I do like the portions, they're a good size for the price. Overall, this place is a good bet if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Yelp
The pizza is some of the best in the area. The crust is crispy and has tons of flavor. Everything is always on point every time I have ever gotten pizza to go which has been atleast 5 times.

Yelp
This was a find by my husband, so we have been excited to try this place for weeks! It's located right by Publix in a shopping center. There's plenty of free parking, which is a plus. As you walk up to the restaurant, the lighting is beautiful outside. We walked up to the hostess station and we were seated almost immediately without reservations on a Saturday night. As you walk in the restaurant, you walk by a gelato bar, which I was later told by our server Maddie, is made in house! We started off with water and fresh bread and olive oil as we awaited our first appetizer and salad. We decided to try the Arancini and it was delicious. It was five rice balls filled with sausage and spices deep fried and served with a house marinara sauce. 10 outta 10! The Caesar salad was a Caesar salad-- nothing much to brag about, but it was good though! My husband decided to try the rigatoni (that was the dish we saw while we were waiting to be seated) and I had had my eye on the deconstructed lasagna. Can I just say that my lasagna was some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten in my life!? Perfectly seasoned, cheesy, decadent and delicious. I would order this dish 100 more times! My husband's rigatoni was delicious as well, but he later told me that if he could order again, he would try my lasagna We ended our meal with samples of gelato. I highly recommend the spot for a taste of modern Italian cuisine. Can't wait to come back! Kudos to our server Maddie for all her wonderful recommendations!

Yelp
This was my first time coming to Novo Cucina. Me and my wife came for our first time to celebrate a special occasion. I had heard quite a few good things about the place, so we decided to check it out. We started with some drinks. I got the Benevento, which was a tequila based drink. It was balanced pretty nicely. Didn't taste so strong. My wife got the botanist, which was a gin based drink. She enjoyed it! For food, we started with some arancini to share. It was really good. It is essentially a fried rice ball, with some sausage ragu inside. It was served with a side of marinara sauce as well, to dip into. Came with 5 pieces, which was a good amount for 2 people. For dinner, we each got our own pasta. I got the rigatoni alla salsiccia and my wife got the Cappellacci con Ricotta, Prosciutto e Spinaci. I had heard about this rigatoni dish specifically, so this is part of the main reason we came. It was honestly pretty good. The rigatoni had a nice bite to it, and the sausage ragu was very flavorful. However, my wife's dish, took the cake. I liked it more than the rigatoni one. It was sooooo flavorful. It's basically Ricotta, prosciutto and spinach ravioli tossed in brown butter, sage and aged balsamic. It was definitely my favorite dish out of the 3 we had collectively. Each bite was just as flavorful as the previous one. These are pretty big ravioli pieces as well, so you'll definitely be full after eating. The food was pretty good honestly, and I would definitely come back. The food is kind of right in the middle, when it comes to pricing. It wasn't too expensive, but it wasn't super cheap either. I think it's worth it, for the price you pay. The restaurant is shared with a Publix shopping center parking lot, so there is plenty of parking. The inside is very chic, so the place is perfect for a special occasion lunch/dinner. I'll be back in the future, no doubt!

Yelp
This might be our new local spot for Italian! When you walk in you see staff making fresh pasta right away - great sign. Sat on the cute patio and our server was really nice. Ordered a pizza and two half pastas. The pizza was tasty. We also got the deconstructed lasagna and seafood risotto and everything was cooked and flavored just right. Also got to enjoy a tiramisu for my birthday dessert. It was the perfect lunch to have on my birthday! Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Too bad Yelp doesn't have 0 (zero) stars.. The wine, Brunello di Montalicino was delishhhh... but save your time and buy it at Total Wine. The muscles and Burrata were good. Shrimp linguine pasta, which was a special dish, was only ok.. but the hostess had the AUDACITY, on a rainy Tuesday night, in an EMPTY restaurant, to tell me I had a 2 hour maximum to sit at the table. The reservation was for 5:45 pm. I didn't think much of it until a coworker who recommended the place, and a regular, showed up (white male) and was completely appalled about the hostess' comment. We didn't leave until 8:30.. we brought the time limit up to the server, who made a joke about it ( it's fine, she was nice an probably didn't have a clue that we were being serious).. no one moved us or came to the table regarding this "time limit". When we got up at 8:30 pm, the restaurant was HALF EMPTY!... To me, the hostess went OUT OF HER WAY to tell me that I was not welcome there and I had 2 hours to enjoy the restaurant. Yall would have done better putting a "NO BLACKS" sign on the door. Disgusting. You lost a regular and I will make sure to make my experience known. This is not a typical review for me.. I'm a foodie and just want to enjoy good food, enjoy a good experience, tip 20%, and go home. That's it. If the restaurant does anything to correct this, I will add it to my review 11/22: The owner, Mike, did reach out and is looking into the situation 12/2: The owner reached back out with an apology, hostess' explanation, how he corrected the manner and offered at gift card. I won't be back but if you decide to try it, I hope they make you feel more welcome It's all love

Yelp
Ordered curb side takeout. I enjoyed the shrimp, mussels, clam (sans the squid) pasta with wine vegetable broth. Very flavorful! Lots is seafood! Very good portion. Enough to have some for later! Also enjoyed the cibatta bread with olive oil!

Yelp
We had a very nice dinner. The food was very good, not exceptional, but perfectly fine and within expectations. We were seated in the patio area, and with the cold temperature outside, it got a little chilly at times, despite the heaters, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Yelp
Great food and service !! Delicious wine We all had calamari, wine, pizza, pasta, salads and dessert and everything was great! Our family definitely recommends and would come back.

Yelp
This Italian restaurant delivers an authentic, mouthwatering plate either which way you order your meal. The pasta is fresh, perfectly al dente, and beautifully paired with rich, flavorful sauces that burst with depth. From the classic Margherita pizza with its perfectly charred crust and creamy mozzarella to the delicate, crafted ravioli, every dish is seems to be made with care and top-quality ingredients. The ambiance feels cozy and inviting, and the staff is warm and attentive. Whether you're enjoying a simple plate of spaghetti or indulging in a decadent tiramisu, this spot is a true celebration of Italian culinary tradition. Highly recommend for just because date or anniversaries.

Yelp
My absolute favorite Italian place in the area. I come here time and time again and I'm never disappointed. The Sausage Rigatoni Alla Salsiccia and Linguine alle Vongole are two of my favorite dishes. You can also ask for fresh ciabatta at no charge! The gelato is also made in-house, and it's so creamy and delicious. Ambiance is so cute -- perfect for a romantic date night whether you're sitting inside or in the sunroom, or just for a nice brunch on the outdoor patio. For everything that's included, it's very reasonably priced! Highly recommend coming here for great food and great vibes.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal. Worth the price as the quality was top notch. You can tell they use the best ingredients because even after eating a collosal amount of pasta, I didn't feel gross or like id committed a grievous mistake. I was just in Italy a few months ago and I would put it on the same level of what I got there. The seafood risotto was more of a paella but none of us were even mad about it as the ingredients and flavor were outstanding.
google avatar

Jasmine P.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant, no matter the season. It's possible to get same day reservations and the inside sunroom is the best option for winter months and later fall months. In the sunroom you'll find a heater by each table which add to the ambiance. My favorite go to dishes are the Lasagnette alla Vegetariana, Margherita Pizza, Vegetariana Pizza, and the Shrimp Alfredo. Every dish is always hot you can see the steam coming off your food. The Alfredo is creamy, the shrimp are cooked to perfection no where have I found Alfredo Pasta better than Novo. Lasagnette alla vegetariana is full of flavor with the variety of vegetables you honestly you won't miss or need any meat or protein in this dish. Before you leave you must have the Gelato icecream it's original to this restaurant and it's authentic.

Yelp
Came here for my wife's 31st birthday. We enjoy trying new Italians places in Atlanta. We thought we'd give this a try. We ordered the arancini, focaccia bread, goat cheese salad, pepperoni pizza, prosciutto ravioli and coffee chocolate chip gelato. The arancini and focaccia were mediocre. The arancini was on the blander end. Interesting take on focaccia bread. The pecan crust goat cheese salad was amazing. Highly recommend! We ordered the pepperoni pizza and added hot pepper and oil oil. The pepperoni pizza was supposed to come with sweet Italian sausage but was not included on the pizza. We didn't bother saying anything because we were a slice each in. Things to improve on: plates are needed with the first appetizer. Spacing out the food between dishes. We ordered 6 dishes and ate them in 40 minutes, super quick services. Solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
google avatar

K P.

Yelp
Very disappointing to say the least, server hand the personality of a disgruntled employee or just couldn't care less. Complained to the manager but had the feeling that she didn't believe me at any rate we will not be going back.....
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Finally we tried Novo. I wasn't too hungry but had taste for Italian. I wanted to try a few things to get an idea as I am normally disappointed when I try to eat Italian. My husband liked the arancini. I found them a little dry but tasty. We both loved the risotto with parmigiano and balsamic reduction. I would go back for the risotto and to try other pasta dishes. I heard the lasagne are awesome. Unfortunately the pizza is not up my expectations: not a light, airy, and chewy dough with a crisp outer crust and soft interior. We tried the Chocolate Bread Pudding and would not order again however we heard the tiramisu is awesome. Next time we will try more and hopefully increase the score! Great crowd, nice ambience. The tables outside are very nice. The restaurant was full so we sat at the bar and enjoyed the service of the 2 nice bartenders. The Amarone was pleasant. No pics because I was not in a paparazzi mood
google avatar

Scott F.

Yelp
Food is fresh and delicious. Perfect portion sizes. Drink selection is wide and bartenders are knowledgeable and competent. Nice setting and atmosphere.

Yelp
I tried to eat here about a year ago, but there was over an hour wait. This time, I had a reservation and was seated right away. There's definitely a very local vibe here. Lots of people know each other and seem to be regulars. The food is fantastic so I'm not surprised! My spaghetti was ok, but the flatbread, the salad, and the gelato were all delicious! The star is really the pizza capricciosa that I took home though! Will definitely have to go back just for the pizza!
google avatar

Aparajita S.

Yelp
This place is definitely worth the hype! I have driven by this place a couple of times and always noticed how busy it is and definitely recommend putting in a reservation even for a weekday night. There was a long line out the door to get a table but luckily it moved fast. After we were seated, my friend and I decided to start of with calamari which was perfectly fried and seasoned well. It also paired well with the marinara sauce. For my main meal, I went with the Tortelloni ai carcofi which was very delicious! I loved how light the butter sauce was and how flavorful the dish was while not being super overpowering. I was looking forward to try their vegetarian lasagne, but they had changed their menu recently and took it off. Overall, I was happy with the service and how nice our waiter was with checking in to make sure that our food came out how we intended it to be. We even had the hostess check on us for a few times to make sure everything was okay. They have indoor and outdoor seating and really liked the ambiance of this place. They also offer takeout meals as well. I look forward to coming back and trying one of their pizzas next!

Cole K.

Yelp
Service was amazing! Food was absolutely delicious! I had a gnocchi pasta with Alfredo sauce and I was in love with it! Definitely planning to come back!

Yelp
Saturday lunch visit with a small group of friends. There's a great little patio in the front with heat lamps and feel private considering it's next to the parking. There's a great dining room that feels like a sunroom with windows all around, bringing in lots of light. We ordered calamari, linguine with clams, salad, gnocchi, lasagna bolognese, and we all had gelato desserts! The whole experience was great - everyone loved their food! I ordered the linguine and saw that multiple people had ordered this dish at the restaurant. It did not disappoint as the clams were juicy and fresh - there were so many! I loved the Calabrian pepper in the sauce with the perfect amount of spice . Weekend lunch time was a mix of people who were a little dressed up, but also people in shorts so the vibe is pretty relaxed. I imagine this is a cute date night spot in the evenings
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
First off, amazing bread! It has a nice crust with a good chew, but the inside is still so soft. I really like that they just give you olive oil and you can add as much or as little salt and pepper as you want. The calamari is was also delicious! It wasn't oily, the breading was super light, and the squid wasn't rubbery at all. My personal favorite dish we tried was the mushroom risotto. This is a go-to dish for mushroom lovers! The flavor is so rich and it comes out all hot and creamy, I highly recommend! The rigatoni alla salsiccia was also really good but I didn't care too much for it. Not to say it tasted bad, but it just didn't really stand out to me. The pasta was cooked perfectly though!
google avatar

Attiya K.

Yelp
Great spot! In a Publix shopping center so pls Ty of parking. Really great outdoor space but it was extremely hot. Server was great! Super attentive and gave great recommendations! Had the summer solstice beverage, calamari for an appetizer and the reconstructed lasagne for dinner! My friend had the tagliatelle! Best part was the dessert. They have a gelato and coffee bar. The tiramisu is AMAZING!! 10/10 recommend along with a latte!! Honestly tasted like perfection!

Yelp
We came here during Christmas season, and the whole place was lit up like a Christmas tree. Nothing gaudy, very tastefully decorated. The food was good and so was the service. They also have a cute patio out front, great in summer months. Definitely recommend visiting, especially during the holidays
google avatar

Hannah K.

Yelp
I brought my friends here because I liked the tagliatelle funghi. The service is good but the chefs don't wear beard guards. Therefor I found some extra fiber in my pasta. The hair was rolled inside during the pasta making process and cooked that way. It was quite shocking as I saw the chefs don't wear any beard covers or hair guards. The flies in the sunroom kept my appetite far away. RECOMMEND: calamari -light and crisp batter. Not RECOMMENDED: panini with prosciutto, arugula, olives. The arugula overpowered everything and after that there is no substantial flavor. It tasted like nothing. I couldn't even taste the olives. The marguerita pizza was pretty standard. Not enough basil but good basil nonetheless. The sizing was perfect to share as appetizer for my party of 4.

Yelp
Novo Cucina boasts a stunning sunroom, creating a beautiful ambiance. Take advantage of the budget-friendly smaller pasta portions during lunch hours, or indulge in the generous dinner options if you're feeling more hungry. The service is excellent, and while the complimentary bread is free, be sure to request it as it's not automatically offered.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Tried the Pepata di Cozze, Caprese con Burrata, Crudo e Rucola, and Linguine del Pescatore. The mussels were so fresh and juicy. The pizza crust is the best in the area by long measure. The pasta was cooked at a perfect al dente. Absolutely no food complaints. Service was great too; our server came to check on us several times throughout the evening. The interior is a big open room with lots of modern charm. The outside dining area is enclosed and very elegant. We were sat in the sunroom, and there was a nice fire by our table keeping us toasty despite the cold weather outside. Go support this place! We need more places like this in the neighborhood.

Yelp
You can find Novo Cucina at 5592 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338 - this is in the furthest back part of Dunwoody Village - Novo is in a free-standing building to the right on an inverted "L" of connected shops. There's plenty of parking with overflow towards the left in front of the Publix anchor. I've eaten at Novo a few times - in the past I was somewhat indifferent to the food, but recently it's been surprisingly good. The interior is industrial softened with a few classy accents with a huge oven featured prominently in the open kitchen. This is a good place for a second or third date if you're still doing that, or to have a nice meal with good ambience - it's not terribly noisy. It also has outdoor seating which is good if you're still in fear of Covid. This last time I sat at the bar while waiting for friends and had a pleasant experience reviewing the menu and talking to the bartenders. They have Tropicalia on draft which hit the spot for me. We started with a few pizzas (Bianca and Quattro Formaggi_and the fried calamari (Calamari Fritti) - all were excellent. For dinner I had the seafood linguine (Linguine del Pescatore) as I'm a sucker for this dish, and it was exceptional - nothing over-cooked and the pasta just slightly past al dente (which is my preference). The wine list was also very good with some inexpensive yet good accompaniments to the basil rich sauces. For dessert we ordered four different and shared - I loved the pistachio gelato. The service was excellent - I do recommend that you call ahead as we were seated immediately. Overall one of the better Italian meals I've had in the past few years.

Yelp
We stopped by this place on a Sunday evening and it was packed. We took that as a good sign and we were right. We had to sit at the bar because the wait was 2+ hours. Sounds like reservations are the way to go. We started with the arancini and complimentary ciabatta bread and both were fabulous. I had the gnocchi which was soft and pillowy and delicious. My partner had a pizza which was also fabulous. Save room for dessert though! We had two different types of their homemade gelato and both were great, but the standout was the fresh mint. We definitely will be back the next time we are in Georgia.

Yelp
I chose novo cucina for my birthday dinner and was really impressed with the food, ambience, and dessert. The server brought out a round of free bread with olive oil which was light but good. The next round of bread was $3. For dinner we all tried something different. The prices here are really reasonable and I didn't feel that anything was overpriced. Portions are large and filling! The best dish by far was the Tagliatelle ai Funghi ($19). So flavorful!! I was a little disappointed with the Lasagnette alla Vegetariana ($23) . It was lacking in flavor and I wasn't a fan of the texture. The Mezzaluna ai Quattro Formaggi ($19) and Margherita pizza ($15) were also solid choices. Dessert was free since it was my birthday!! I got the cannolis. The cream is orange flavored and the toppings are dark chocolate and pistachios. I was obsessed with it but if you don't like orange flavor it might be off putting for you. I wish I could've given this restaurant 5 stars but our server was extremely aggressive about tipping to the point where we had to add to our tip before we left. It was an odd experience but the delicious food almost made up for it :)

Yelp
I have lost the count of even how many times I have beeen to this place. This is an amazing place. Let's start with the food first: we mostly have a set menu, we start with margarita pizza and before you think it's just a pizza- it's heaven, so fresh and full of flavors. Then in main course we order Tagliatelle ai Funghi- this is so delicious, white sauce is not overly cheesy and right amount. Also, we get Risotto Mantecato which is caramelized onion risotto, it's great with slight sweetness, not my favorite but my husband likes it (Last time we ordered it I felt rice was a tad less cooked) . The other risotto is Risotto ai Funghi - like it so much! The mushrooms and sauce is yum. For dessert - we get tiramisu- it's little more creamy than usual, it's nice would nothing super extraordinary but omg gelatos they have are amazing! My favorite is pistachios. Service: this varies, we have gotten from very extraordinary services to average service. Never got bad service Ambiance - super nice. Relaxing and not super fancy. People dress mostly casual. If you are in this area defiantly try it out. One tip: for dinner never go without reservation- you will be disappointed otherwise.

Yelp
Outside dining was excellent, fantastic food, waitresses was great and the setting was good for being in a big city!

Yelp
I just left Novo after lunch, and I am so impressed with their salmon. It never ceases to amaze me how well they cook it, to perfection! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and I love that it is served with tasty black rice and well cooked carrots. Divine.

Yelp
Delicious and beautiful! We came in and the place was very clean and inviting. We sat outside during July and there were fans and Cyprus bushes to create a nice ambiance. Food was greatly presented. Cocktails were lovely. I had the summer solstice, a take on the aperol spritz .

Yelp
Went here with the wife for a late lunch. We shared calamari and some bread and olive oil, then she had the Caesar salad and salmon while I had the chicken salad panini. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The restrooms were clean. A great experience.

Yelp
We had a great dinner at Novo Cucina. The food was really good- we started with the burrata, and the ciabatta with olive oil. For entrees, we had the sausage rigatoni and the mushroom tagliatelle. Both were very flavorful, and large portions for the price. Though they don't have a specific kids' menu, they do make kid portions. We ordered a butter pasta and cheese pizza, and the kids enjoyed it. The gelato is a must-have, as they make it onsite. The pistachio gelato was the best I've had in a while, and the baccio was also great. Service was excellent, and I really liked the trendy vibe in here. I was expecting an upscale old school Italian vibe, but it felt more like a restaurant you'd see in West Midtown. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Delicious food, great ambiance and excellent service. I got the brown butter sage tortellini and HIGHLY recommend - got a bourbon drink which was awesome as well. A bit pricy but well worth it

Yelp
After discovering Novo Cucina's delicious gluten free options, I have probably dined here this year more than any other restaurant. I always have an excellent experience and love their food and their wine selections. PRE-DINING Novo Cucina is available for reservations on Resy. I've found that if you make a reservation a few days in advance they have plenty of openings, however if you try to make one the same day they seem to be booked up. There is plenty of parking as they share a lot with other small businesses and a Publix grocery store. AMBIANCE I love the ambiance here! They have several seating areas, from outdoor patio dining (with heaters), to high tops near the bar, to their lovely sunroom that has large doors they open when it's nice out. SERVICE The service is always exceptional here, and even when they have been pretty busy they always acknowledge us and apologize if they feel we have been waiting too long. All of the staff is very well versed on the menu items as well as the wine options. F & B I almost always order the Caprese con Barrata salad, as I love the Barrata cheese. One of my favorite pizzas (on their gluten free crust) is the Pepperoni e Salsiccia. I also love the Pancetta e Cipolla pizza and the Tagliatelle ai Funghi (on the gluten free penne). GLUTEN FREE TIPS* I LOVE their gluten free pizza. It's possibly the best gluten free pizza that I have had. They can make any of their options on their gluten free crust. They can also do almost all of their pastas on a gluten free penne pasta. Their calamari is also gluten free! *As of November 2021 my reviews are written from a celiac, gluten free perspective. I recommend researching online (like the Find Me Gluten Free app) and calling ahead for your own personal needs.

Yelp
This was a birthday lunch with family for us and it didn't disappoint. This was my second time eating at Novo Cucina. Last time I had the burrata salad. This time was had a nice antipasto platter (with some fresh, warm bread), shared a salad and pizza, and had the amazing raviolis (that we watched them make by hand as we were walking in). Overall- The food was excellent and the gelato was even better. We will definitely be back. Next time, I'm gonna try it for dinner, as I bet it has a nice date night ambiance in the evening.

Yelp
Great place! Very cute inside, great food and good (strong) drinks. We ordered multiple entrees and all shared which I recommend because we could try everything. I especially loved the pasta options. Deliciousness!

Yelp
Lunch for (2) take out: Cesar salad w/ salmon and steak Tagliata di Manzo came to over $80. I questioned the waitress at pickup and she incorrectly quoted the steak... menu online showed $27 and she stated $38. Upon arriving home, I called and spoke to their manager-with-an-attitude. "She went over the prices with you at pick up didn't she?" I said I hadn't memorized the prices but the steak was wrong. First he claimed he didn't know what I was referencing when I said the steak price was $27. I provided the url and waited for him to get online. He begrudgingly offered the $11 difference. I told him he could keep it. It will be a VERY long time before I return which is unfortunate as I was ordering take out almost every week this past month. It's been years since a restaurant manager evidenced such a rude attitude. Apparently he doesn't care about keeping my business. Oh, well.

Yelp
I visited this amazing eatery on yesterday. I had dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in years. He's a true foodie and has the best suggestions when it comes to food selections. I'd never heard of this place until yesterday. The ambience of the restaurant was amazing. I loved the setup of the sunroom with the open patio doors. There is a small patio as well, if you prefer to dine outside. The servers and staff were friendly, always anticipating the needs of their guest. The food was amazing ! The pasta is made at the restaurant so it's super fresh!! The food and bread were filling! I would give this place a 10/10. A reservation is highly recommended. Oh and the drinks amazing !!!!
