"This Greek restaurant has been in the neighborhood since the 70s, and it’s back in the family, now run by the granddaughters. Diners usually grab a glass of wine at the tall tables or out on the sidewalk, but for now, Novy is still open for takeout, with lemony soup, cucumber-tomato salad, chicken wraps, lamb burgers, and eggplant moussaka to go." - Paolo Bicchieri, Becky Duffett

"This casual bistro-like restaurant is a lovely place to eat Greek food surrounded by friendly servers in branded T-shirts. It’s also a great place to have lunch and wine. During the day, everyone fills the high tops and sidewalk tables to drink rosé and soak in the warm atmosphere. Order the lamb gyro with paper-thin slices of meat, the garlic fries topped with Greek cheese, and the very thick, very lamb-y burger. Like with any casual meet-up spot, you’ll probably get seated quickly if you walk in. Prepare to stay awhile.  " - Lani Conway, Ricky Rodriguez, Julia Chen 1

I came here on the weekend and the wait was not too long. The food was solid and portion is pretty generous. Definitely try the lamb gyros it was very delicious! Very family and dog friendly!

Good service, comfortable outdoor seating - heated when it's cool. Lots of gluten-free options for pasta and burgers - ask your waiter!

We enjoyed the relaxed vibe at an outdoor table in a neighborhood filled with young families, cute babies and dogs. The service was friendly, but I honestly can’t rave about the food in terms of the quality and value for the price. The grilled cheese was just a cold lump with pita bread but the tasty spanakopita made up for it. Local craft beer on tap.

Beautiful outdoor seating, phenomenal server. The salmon, mushroom, goat cheese omelette was simply amazing. I was in heaven.

I ordered the Pesto Pasta. Delicious. Fresh. Flavorful without being overwhelming. There was 4 to our party. We each ordered a wonderful dish and 2 drinks each. Service was perfect. We paid approximately $30 per person and gladly gave a 20% + tip. Great staff. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. I will be returning.

Wow I was really suprised by how tender the lamb in the lamb gyro was, and the sauces were super flavorful. The burger was also perfectly cooked with a nice char on the outside. And the fries were phenomenal! Upgrade from regular fries to sweet potato only costs $1 extra. I will be back!

It's a good place, stuff is friendly. Their selection of Greek/Mediterranean food should be bigger. Location is cute, I love Noe Valley, even though this place is having outdoor seating right next to the street keep that in mind.

LOVE this place - they serve Greek food, all dishes are delish… it is my go to every time I am in San Fran!

Yelp
This was my second time here. I love Greek food and this place is good enough to come back! The service is great; however, probably best to reserve online to avoid a wait. It's not a huge place; but it's nice inside and they do have outdoor seating. We got the zucchini fritters to share and they were delicious. They were small but tasty & the cucumber dill dip it comes with is really good. We ordered the house & Horiatiki salad. I had the horiatiki and it was tasty. Another friend had the Athenian pasta, I got this last time, and it's good. In all, I haven't had a bad dish here. For dessert, the flourless cake is so good. We didn't get it this time but I would highly recommend it.

Yelp
Friends took us here for brunch. The place was nice, outdoor and inside seating. Our waitress was on top of everything, especially refilling my water because I drink a lot. I had the egg Benedict and it was delicious. The potatoes was really good. I forgot what my man ordered but he killed the entire thing. He really enjoyed his meal as well.

Siddharth G.

Yelp
Decent food but rating this low for a very strange experience with a waiter here when I last came with a friend dude kept staring at us and started us with water and poured out not more than a fifth of each glass, when we asked for the check he set the card reader down at the opposite end of the table where we couldn't reach it and had to get up to go get it when he was an arms length away... utterly bizarre

Lisa X.

Yelp
My friend who lives nearby got an alert half way through our lunch. So our lunch here was cut short and we hurried back to her house. Turns out it was a false alarm. I spent the next hour with her waiting for her S.O. to come back while she dealt with her business. Food here was pretty good although I don't remember much. It wasn't bad. Sat outside in their parklet at that time. So I will give 4 stars.

Julianna P.

Yelp
Classic Benedict -- classic eggs benedict with a potato hash on the side. It tasted good but it was not as warm and fresh when it arrived.

Albie E.

Yelp
Well, this was the first time I was at NOVY restaurant. My friend who lives nearby, took me out with another friend to this place for dinner. The ambiance was very relaxing, casual but classy. My friend had ordered some appetizers to share and some main dishes. There was a total of three of us in the party. I ordered a kale salad with grilled salmon. When it came out, it looked so delicious, smelled so good and fresh Upon tasting it, I devoured the salad. It was plenty where you are satisfied, but not feeling stuffed. My two other friends ordered the lamb gyro and moussaka as their main dishes. The food looked and smelled so good. They were pleased with their dishes. We shared the grilled halloumi, which I had never tried and was such a great plate to share. The dolmas also were a nice plate to share and tasty. The service was great, with our server being very attentive and wait time was minimal. It should also be noted, we went during a Thursday evening so it was not too busy. We did have reservations, which I would always suggest as this place can be busy. Parking is street metered with some small lots nearby also metered. One can also park in the residential area and a short walk. The price was decent for the quality of food and portions. I def will go again!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
tasty, did an early dinner walk in. Fresh food, lots of flavor. Already quite busy even when walking in right when opening for dinner service - definitely a neighborhood spot, nice for all ages something for everyone on their menu. Quite buzzy vibe even on a Sunday evening.

Millie K.

Yelp
Always a pleasure to come here on a family date. Their food is constantly delicious for dinner, and the service is attentive. I especially enjoy JP's friendliness and quick to respond. They have comfortable indoor and out door seating, we like coming back for the comfort, food and services. We will be back!

Matt J.

Yelp
Novy is the perfect casual-ish date night restaurant. As people who don't go for tasting menus, it is the exact level of elegance we look for. The kale salad is a top 5 dish in the city. It's the type that will make converts of kale haters and skeptics. The decor is charming without being fussy and the staff is exceptionally welcoming and quickly remembered us. Though it is often labeled as Greek, the menu is more varied than that categorization might suggest, so I'd recommend it to anyone.

Rai L.

Yelp
Great local spot. I love their lamb gyros. Service has always been good. Gluten free options.

Brenda M.

Yelp
Novy is one of my favorite places for lunch but today I decided to come and try their brunch. We came just in time before the crowd and in were seated right away. I love how you can either seat indoor or outdoors and very kid friendly. Novy mule 3.5/5 it was too sweet and it felt a bit watered down. Sweet potato basket 5/5 I highly recommend getting this to share with the table. My party devoured it. The spicy Mayo paired perfectly well with the sweet potato. Brioche French toast 4/5 I ordered this for my son who is a huge fan of French toast. It was good but it didn't taste like brioche bread. It tasted more like regular bread. Both the lamb and chicken gyro 5/5, I have said this before and I will say it again. This place knows how to make wraps. Their so flavorful and delicious. The chicken wrap had a pesto dressing and it made the chicken wrap taste refreshing. The lamb gyro is so tender and soft you can savor every single bite. The pita bread is fluffy and airy. You leave satisfied!

Yelp
Amazing food and probably the best sangria of my life the pitcher is worth getting and the amount of food you get is worth the money.

Kevin B.

Yelp
This is a nice little gem of a breakfast place. We came here with a rather large group 2 weeks ago while in town for a conference and they were very accommodating of us on a Saturday morning. The service was very good and attentive throughout our meal. My wife ordered French toast with a side a bacon and I got the Eureka omelet (mushrooms, cheddar, and avocado) and we both really enjoyed our food (the omelet could easily have been shared as it was very filling). The breakfast potatoes were also pretty tasty and the coffee really hit the spot. We didn't get too try any lunch items, but we would definitely come back and try them as breakfast was solid. It's a good place overall and I would definitely recommend it.

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Came here last night for dinner. Super tasty food kind of weird they close at 9 PM on a Saturday, but they were very sweet and stayed open late for us. Really cute ambience inside a nice table set up. Good service the food came pretty fast. Lamb, Gyro - very delicious Octopus starter - nicely cooked Hummus, starter - blah, I'd pass Swiss, chard, kale side - tasty Sweet potato fries - yummy! Sangria - wayyyy to sweet - pass

Yelp
My son recently moved to Noe Valley. Since it was his birthday he wanted to try some of the restaurants in his neighborhood. We settled on Novy! The inside is quaint and cozy. We had reservations at the high-tops. Our server JP was great! I couldn't decide on a wine. I did decided on one and he said let me give you a taste before you commit. I'm glad he did! Because he brought me two tasters and the one I thought I wanted, I didn't like. My sons both ordered the lamb Gyros. I ordered the Salmon Pasta. I didn't try their Gyros, but they looked delicious. Both of my kids thought the fries were fantastic, as did I. My pasta was delicious, perfectly flavored and seasoned. We also ordered two appetizers the Olive and Feta with Pita and the Octopus. The Octopus was much better than my mind anticipated and I would order it again. My son wanted to try it because it's not something you see every day. I'm glad we did. This restaurant and the neighborhood are both just oozing with cozy vibes. I really enjoyed my evening and so did my kids.

Yelp
This is a very late delivery of a comment to this lovely neighborhood business, and I'm absolutely aware but at this point better late kudos than none of those! I used to be the only FOH person in a now closed bistro in Noe Valley, for 3 years before the pandemic, and back then I was not allowed to promote competitors due to the business owners' being strict about it; yet now I get to talk. I don't know if they still make it but that Avgolemono soup that I've had there before the pandemic was literally the best in terms of its creaminess not blocking its sourness which is not over-shadowed by excessive amount of flour or rice involved; as it had the absolute perfect dose for literally every single ingredient. That soup gave so much comfort to an empty stomach and the waitress was such a default smiling face; her positivity and thus sweetness did unfortunately leave no room for dessert! That soup was the definition of precision, given the very Greek original reference that one would most authentically create / taste. As far as I know, the owners are Greek and I'm 14% Greek based on my Ancestry results, so perhaps this statement could bring a family flavor to my best wishes for them as their former competitor! I should definitely pay a visit again; although seeing them always packed whenever I walk by, reassures me that they might appreciate my support coming in in the currency of words more than it would in dollars! Keep up the Good Work you guys, Noe Valley locals are obviously in love with you! Which reminds me of my pre-pandemic years in San Francisco! My friend & I sat outside when we were there, the ambiance inside features an open kitchen which is nice. But too much of cooking sounds may get on my nerves so outside worked quite well!

Rommel L.

Yelp
First time at Novy. Service was great. Server checked in periodically and food was delivered within 10-15 minutes. We tried the octopus dish and cheese dish for appetizers. Both were excellent , but give the slight edge to the octopus. I had the calamari salad for my main dish and it was extremely tasty. Calamari was nice and crispy and the bed of salad was fresh. All in all, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

Sherri S.

Yelp
Awesome local restaurant! Started with a carafe of mimosa. Hit the spot and a great choice! Two of us split the calamari salad and spanakopita. Also a great choice and generous portion. The calamari was tender and very good quality. We enjoyed. We were curious about the lemon soup being served to the next table. Looking forward to trying that next time. Service was right on. Seating also available outside along the sidewalk. We sat inside at a high top next to the food prep area. We were able to see all of the different dishes ordered. It all looked so good. Overall It was a very enjoyable late lunch. I highly recommend.

Yelp
This is the second time I have been to NOVY and both times it was a great experience. The location is great, clean, tons of cute shops to visit and it's just a great place to walk around before or after eating. Our service has been great, very attentive wait staff and friendly. As a vegan, it is great when the food options are not just a random side, but an actual full - tasty meal! Loved the fries and beyond wrap, will definitely be coming back!

Rakesh T.

Yelp
A solid 3 star experience for the food. This is not flavortown nor is this really authentic Greek. It's food for the average taste bud and someone looking for an average experience. Nothing about this place screamed authentic. The lamb gyro on store bought average pita was flavorless. The salad on this flavorless lamb could have had some flavor / acid / salt / lemon that could have brightened up a dull and boring dish the tzatziki also wasn't anything decent. The grilled halloumi again lacked any flavor whatsoever. The saving grace is the sweetish eggplant which tries to save the dish and give it some flavor but fails because the halloumi is again lacking any flavor and the overgrilling has dried it to mimic cardboard served alongside cardboard like store brought pita that has been grilled. The hummus seems to again just be garlic and chickpeas. If you're going to serve hummus try to least give it some flavor. Unbelievable how average this place is. The owners and chefs seemed to have put in zero effort. Very disappointing neighborhood restaurant. Things like this are the reason restaurants go out of business. Sad but definitely won't be returning to this spot.

Todd L.

Yelp
Was a little concerned at first on how long it took for a server to greet us, but after that, it was a positive experience. We'd probably go back. Pretty solid place.

Sheila P.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and absolutely love their menu. They have plenty of veggie options and have great service as well. I prefer dining indoors but they have an outdoors option too. Some of my favorite things on the menu are the grilled halloumi (the olive date tapenade is amazing!), zucchini fritters, and their mouth-watering kale salad! The kale salad has the wonderful combo of chopped dates, goat cheese, quinoa, and the fried red onions are the absolute garnish on top. One of my favorite salads ever.

Julia C.

Yelp
Really tasty! Just slightly a cut above other Greek / Mediterranean places. Grilled Halloumi was super satisfying. Very rich in salty, burnt, cheesy flavor. The portions are a lot bigger than they look in pictures. I got the gyros with garlic aioli on the side. The garlic aioli was my favorite part. So much flavor! Also, the gyros was plentiful but also thinly sliced in a delicate way. It was a nice texture. I could finish it and ended up with a bit of fries and gyros leftover. Boyfriend got the Moussaka, which was mor substantial than expected. In the pictures it looks like a tiny portion, but the plate they serve it on is pretty large.

Sabine M.

Yelp
This place is good for brunch!! The menu doesn't seem to be on here but it's good! The service was awesome and very attentive. We had coffee and a michelada, both were good. We had French toast, the 24th Street omelette with chicken apple sausage and the huevos rancheros. It was all really good!! We would definitely come back!! It's a cute spot!

McKyna J.

Yelp
Needed a quick but delicious lunch on a quiet Monday afternoon. Novy hit the spot! We were greeted by a friendly hostess and ordered one of their fun beverage selections. On the menu you'll find traditional Greek dishes with a touch of modern American cuisine. Each dish was seasoned nicely and left me wanting more after each bite. Neighborhood spots like this are hard to find so next time you're in Noe Valley come check out Novy!

mario c.

Yelp
Worst gyro ever! Completely oily... oil on the plate, o the wrapper and my hands. The fries were yummy. Messed up my stomach. Also had to go to bathroom. Ughhh

Frank W.

Yelp
I recommend Novy. My wife and I went for her birthday. She said she would eat there again. That is the highest praise. To be willing to repeat an event is the best endorsement of the experience. Also, my wife is much wiser than I am. Her standards would not allow as many positive ratings, which may make her both more harsher and more useful. The name of the establishment is based on how the owners referred to the neighborhood when they were growing up there: Noe Valley has been sought after since I knew of the city, especially favoring families where the general sentiments might be otherwise. The proprietors called it Novy. The menu is Greek interpreted through California. You might not guess, except for the menu items given Greek names. We ordered too much, deliberately, to bring home leftovers. That include the halloumi cheese; the spanikopita; the zucchini fritters; and the feta, portobello topped polenta. All were excellent, with enough seasoning for the undiscerning but the needed subtlety for the sensitive. For a main course, we had the salmon pasta (bowtie). It maintained the quality, with the same balance. The waitstaff were so friendly to produce this funny moment. A family next to us were posing for a picture. I realized the one person would be left out, since she was taking the shot. I did not notice she was Caucasian, while those who would be in the picture were South Asian. I offered to help them by taking the photo so they could all be included. But the one who was standing up was a waitress, doing what I thought I was being kind to volunteer. They seemed like they were all together. That might be a comment on the observer of course. In any event, Novy is worthwhile. We had a Greek restaurant we liked in the neighborhood where we live, until the pandemic closed it. This is a worthwhile successor.

Camilla M.

Yelp
This restaurant wasn't planned, but because I was in the neighbors with a couple of friends, we decided to try it on Sunday for brunch! We immediately found a table for three and, after looking the menu for a while, we ordered an American breakfast, a lamb gyro and for me the lamb Benedict. My eggs were cooked perfectly and I liked the lamb even though it was already a bit cold when the plate arrived! My friends also enjoyed their plate! Maybe it's not the best Greek I tried, but it was good enough to come back! The ambience was nice, not crowded or loud and that's was perfect for me! Also the service was good, the waiter was very friendly!

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
Highs: - We liked everything we ordered: the chicken wrap (gyro), Athenian pasta, and moussaka. Each plate was filling enough for one person. - We tried the galaktoboureko for the first time per our waitress's recommendation, and we would order it again. - There was no wait for a table in the afternoon. The seating in their parklet is clean. - Great service, all of the waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. Lows: - Drinks were a little on the expensive side, which was expected.

Suwanna P.

Yelp
We had salmon pasta and salmon entree. Taste great but I wish the salmon entree have more orzo. Nice vibe and great service. Will return.

Alisa P.

Yelp
Love to come here for Moussaka! Always delicious and juicy, right from the oven. Was really happy to find this lovely Greek spot in Noe Valley. I always was lucky with being seated without wait and even had choice of spots. My favorite though are bar stools with a view to lively Noe street. The ambiance and service here are great, modern interior and nice tableware significantly add to the experience. They have vegan options. My husband likes their burger with beyond meat and sweet potato fries. Highly recommend to give it a try if you crave for a good moussaka or lamb gyro.

Stuti V.

Yelp
Nice place. We were at Dolores park for picnic. Got food packed from Novy's. I got 2 beers ( Pilsner and fieldwork ) and 2 cocktails , 1 chicken wrap and 1 chicken omelet along with potato wedges. Food was amazing. Good portion. Little on expensive side but Def worth it. They packed it very nicely since it was a takeout order and they even included disposable cutlery to make the experience even better. Drinks were also given in spill-proof manner. Def worth trying it out.

Tom L.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood cafe with wonderful food and excellent service. I go almost weekly!

Rachel C.

Yelp
The food and ambiance at Novy is excellent! It's a standard brunch restaurant with some dishes that have a mediterranean twist like lamb gyro, lamb burger, etc. I had an omelette with smoked salmon, mushrooms, and goat cheese, and it's one of the best brunch omelettes I've had in the city! The bloody mary was a little underwhelming (too much worcestershire sauce), but I would come back to try the other drink options. Service was excellent.

Mark B.

Yelp
Easily one of my favorite restaurants on 24th; just a 10 minute walk from home. They operate on a split schedule. 10/11AM to 3PM (depending on day) and then open for dinner again at 5PM. Absolute favorites are the grilled halloumi chese with pita to start. From there -- difficult decisions. Pesto pasta? Grilled salmon with mango salsa? Moussaka with a refreshing salad? The Panos lamb burger with tzatziki and an olive tapenade? I've sampled my way through most of the menu and haven't hit a dud yet. The desserts are RIDICULOUSLY large.

Katelyn H.

Yelp
The pesto pasta was unbelievable!! I'm still thinking about it days later. They had great heaters outside to keep us perfectly comfortable even in the cool San Francisco evening!

Heidi-Jane S.

Yelp
This was simply wonderful. Here are some tips: 1. Outside heat lamps kept us cozy warm even in 49 degree weather (and eating outside kept us safer from Covid).... 2. The salmon with rainbow chard was absolutely divine - and gluten-free! 3. The flourless chocolate cake was heavenly. 4. Hannah, our server, was a gem - this establishment is lucky to have her. Staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating. We were so happy - an absolutely lovely find!

Scott H.

Yelp
We sat at the table in front of the POS for a solid 20 minutes and no server showed up... there were 5 staff members just standing around and my wife went up to ask for service. Still no one showed up, so we walked out... I was disappointed because I love the food here, but the service was nonexistent.

Isaac A.

Yelp
Ordered the halloumi cheese as an app and the pasta/burger for entrees. Food was delicious, portion size respectable and service unmatched! The wait staff is so friendly and inviting. Make sure you try their sangria!

Sheryl B.

Yelp
Girls night out lead us to Nōvy, a lovely cozy Greek restaurant in Noe Valley. Parking wasn't an issue, since meters are free after 6pm. We were seated inside a nice cubby area lined with windows. The menu was captivating, we wanted it all! Being adventurous eaters, we family styled it --ordered six small dishes to share. Every single plate was delicious and beautifully presented. The melding of perfectly selected ingredients came together for each dish. We savored each one. GRILLED HALLOUMI CHEESE artichoke and date tapenade served with grilled pita bread. KALE SALAD dates, toasted walnuts, goat cheese, quinoa, & fried red onions LAMB MEATBALLS tomato-cream sauce & feta - this dish was fantastic! FETA POLENTA Portobello mushrooms, toasted walnuts, balsamic reduction, & crumbled feta. OCTOPUS castelvetrano olives, marble potatoes, artichoke hearts, & frisée BRUSSELS SPROUTS bacon, chili flakes, cabernet vinegar & mizithra cheese. Will come again!

Zay T.

Yelp
I love their brunch! My party was seated immediately outside, as we were with our dog. The hostess has asked if we would mind sitting in the bright sun, which I appreciated. The server was quick to greet us and gave us sufficient time to decide before returning for our orders. I ordered the American breakfast and my partner ordered the breakfast burrito. The server even gave our dog fresh water, which I genuinely appreciated. Everything was cooked perfectly and super tasty. The home fries were crispy and well seasoned. My scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy, and the bacon was crispy yet pliable. My parter really enjoyed his breakfast burrito and loved the home fries. Our server was attentive, offering to refill my coffee without me asking for it. He was friendly and accommodating, which is sadly not always the case when eating out. I noticed that he had many tables inside and outside, which was impressive given how great his service was. The prices here are very reasonable, and I enjoyed the chill ambiance. There were families, groups of adults meeting for brunch cocktails, and couples with pets. I also really loved the 90s playlist; overall, it was a relaxing brunch with good food. I plan on returning many more times in the future!

Naina S.

Yelp
4.5/5 I've ordered takeout from here as well as gone to brunch in-person with a friend. Both times, I had an enjoyable experience! Ambiance: 5/5 It's such a cute little corner spot on 24th St in Noe with great indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations: 5/5 You can make reservations on OpenTable via their website! I haven't done so before so I'm not sure what the availability is normally like. Staff: 5/5 The staff was friendly and accommodated us when we walked in for brunch on a Sunday without any reservations. We really appreciated that and they were nice the entire time. Items Ordered: - Chicken Wrap (5/5): This tasted great and I love that you can get a side of fries with it. - Baked Brioche French Toast (5/5): Excellent taste, so soft. I would definitely get it again. - Grilled Haloumi Cheese (4.5/5): Tasted good! I haven't tried too much Haloumi cheese and I really liked this place's! Pricing: 3.5/5 I think this place is definitely overpriced even though I love it. That's why I've docked an overall half-star. Great spot to catch up with your friends over a glass of fine (or carafe) and food.

Perry N.

Yelp
Great food and good atmosphere. Service was very timely and pleasant. When we are back in the area, we will definitely go back there

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
Ordered via UberEats! I got the chicken wrap, which comes with greek fries, and a side of the House Salad. - The chicken wrap was a mess to eat, with the pita being stuffed to the brim. The chicken was cooked fully, and although on the drier side, was covered up well by the tzatziki, though this tasted a bit bland. The wrap was missing the salsa verde, and the fries lacked fluff. - House salad was decent, just lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese. You can't really mess that up.

blaine s.

Yelp
The dishes that delighted was the Greek salad, hummus, baked cheese appetizers. Octopus was chewy but seasoning was just right. Zucchini fritters very small for the price paid but good. Brussels sprouts oily and overcooked, should have sent it back. Spanakopita was very nice and fresh. Spent $170.00 lunch for four, no alcohol or desserts. B+

Abby K.

Yelp
Just arrived to visit my mom in the Bay Area and decided to stop for dinner on our way from the airport. Novy looked cute and smelled good when we passed so we decided to give it a try. We sat outside and there was sufficient heat from the heater above us. We got the grilled halloumi and brussels sprouts to share. The cheese was so good! I love halloumi and this was seasoned perfectly and loved the warm pita with it. I ordered the salmon pasta and it was good! The service was great - friendly and helpful. I low key wish I would have ordered the burger once I saw the table next to us get it - it looked wonderful. I hope to come back next time I'm in the area!

Ji S.

Yelp
I loved NoVY! I got two pastas and the cobb salad. Everything was wonderful. * Salad: super filling, delicious dressing, very hearty but still feels healthy. Really yummy! * Shrimp pasta: a little spicy, a little creamy, really great. Doesn't feel heavy and the sauce is really nice. * Pesto pasta: I loved this pasta too. The fact that they add gorgonzola to it makes it really unique and gives a nice saltiness and extra flavor. Next time I really want to order their greek food because I think they are known for it but after my first time I definitely want to come back.

Sandra ..

Yelp
Cute, fun and delicious spot in Noe Valley. Definitely a brunch spot for the gals or a quick meet and catch up with friends

Ben S.

Yelp
Fantastic Noe Valley restaurant. We had dinner on a Friday night and was fortunate to get a place to sit because we didn't make a reservation. We were strolling in the neighborhood looking for a place for dinner. We had the fried calamari salad, lamb bolognese pasta and Athenian pasta. Each dish was excellent, great price point and nice portion. The service was outstanding. Our service was fun, engaging and attentive. The restaurant was buzzing but not difficult at all to hear each other talk. Not our first time to Novy but a first for dinner. It is one of our highly recommended places to eat in the Noe Valley.

Yelp
I got the Salmon. My friend got the moussaka. Both were good. The desserts were even better. The bread pudding and the dessert with the long unpronounceable name. They were delicious!! The appetizer we got was the pita, feta, olives -- I the olives and feta were delicious. The pita was burned -- badly. We didn't send it back because it was accidentally put on our table and we got it free. The service was very attentive. We sat outside with heat lamps. It was pleasant except for the trucks loudly passing a few times. I'd come back.
