Dine and Dash Is Back — But It’s Way Worse Than You Think | Eater NY

"A high-ticket Japanese restaurant that, like other small-seat omakase operations, says it cannot stop taking prepaid reservations because no-shows on a $400–$500-per-person menu would be crippling; as a result it remains vulnerable to fraud where stolen cards are used to buy and resell reservations, producing chargebacks that erode margins and force staff to spend time disputing claims." - Andrea Strong

Why $400 Sushi Menus Are the New Normal in NYC | Eater NY

"I found Noz positioning itself squarely in the elevated omakase tier: its main menu sits at about $400, while it also offers a cheaper $230 menu in a separate “ash” room; owner Joshua Foulquier says he now tweaks pricing based on what works for the business and attributes higher prices to factors like labor (new hires cost at least 30 percent more) and steep air-cargo fees—he even runs a fish import/export business and described pre-COVID shipping at roughly 500 yen/kg with a 100 kg minimum versus current rates above 1,300 yen and a 250 kg minimum." - Ryan Sutton

The clearance store with the attractive price. There are many kinds of product, since food until the household products. Quite often, we can find the products from abroad here. The quality is depend on the product, you have to choose. The food here, some are almost expired, but some are still not, sometimes there are organic food also and it is not expensive at all. You cannot predict which brand and what kind of product you will find here, it is by chance, depend on the day you visit the store. The staff is very nice and helpful here. The parking is at the front of the shop.

The products are not arranged properly. (Customer responsibility is not maintained). Because of this reason it's difficult to find the desired products. The staff is kind and cooperative. Location is very accessible.
