14 New Delivery-Only Restaurants Born Out Of The Pandemic

"Neighborhood Bread started out delivering fresh loaves to select neighborhoods in Brooklyn back in March 2020. Since then, they’ve expanded their pastry menu to include a bunch of excellent pastries like cardamom buns, Portuguese egg tarts, and danishes topped with poached pears and sweet potato cream. The restaurant is currently taking orders via Instagram DM, and delivering to a few Brooklyn neighborhoods Monday through Wednesday." - nikko duren

The Russian sourdough rye bread is devine! I actually bought the loaf at another store and it was so good that I had to look up where it's made, which is in this place. Will definitely come here directly for the bread in the future

I passed by expecting this to be a full on bakery. It was a combination of a mini bread factory with Russian goods. They sold all the meats, cheeses, dairy and other typical stuff that Russian supermarkets sold. There was a huge selection of bread. I got the crispy rye bread for $2. It was super fresh, soft and had a good flavor.

A small and convenient Russian grocery store with some produce, meat and cheese counter, fresh as well as packaged breads and a variety of dry and canned goods. Frozen dumplings and some fresh cakes and pastries. Very friendly staff!

VERY RUDE this is the second time I stopped to get fresh bread and was completely ignored. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ll get my bread elsewhere. Why would I give my money to a business that treats me like I’m invisible.

This is the kind of bread we bought the day before yesterday at a store in the Bronx.Look at the date. It is unclear when the bread is baked and when it will be expired!

They have the best bread in Brooklyn NY. Come around 2 PM and get great hot bread right from the oven

It looks like they are involved in some suspicious activity. I bought an Easter cake from them couple of days ago and it turned out to be some old and most likely expired panettone with added icing on top to make it look like Easter cake (kulich). So they just put their new label on some old panettones that they did not bake, and sold them at three times the original price. Not sure if that is even legal but that is for The Bureau of Community Environmental Health and Food Protection to determine. Buyer beware!

This is a very good store, I think the best bread is here. I recommend everyone to try the freshly baked bread and many other interesting foods.
