NY Pie (Franklin)

My old workmate and I came here for lunch because we wanted to scarf some pizza. You can choose from a bunch of pie options, by the slice. I had NY Meat and NY White and my buddy had NY Special and Meat. Big slices, crisp crust, plentiful toppings. The pizza is pretty good, the place has a pizza parlor feel and staff is polite and friendly. They have apps, salads, calzones and more on the menu. Here's the Breakdown: Good eats in a cool little space with solid service +5 stars. A for sure go back.

NY Pie has the best pizza in the area by far . The pizzas are super delicious with excellent NY style crust and top quality toppings that are very generous . It's not the cheapest pizza but they are big and loaded and we can eat 2 meals from 1 pizza . Their sit in area isn't very big or nice but I'm going there for the pizza and it's adequate . They generally have pizzas ready in 20-30 minutes . That's even on a really busy night . They do half and half on pizzas also for people that want to not order 2 separate pizzas . Simply the best pizza around .

Got a calzone and was super impressed. Ordered 5 toppings in it and it came out piping hot all the way through yet the crust was not over cooked as you would get most places with that many toppings. I was greeted when I went in and checked on well. This place is now a go-to for me.

It's a shame one person can ruin an experience. Called to order a pick up. I ordered half greek and half peperoni. Got there and got an entire greek pizza with peperoni on half. The girl who took my order had a terrible attitude. I said my order three times on the phone. This location is okay but just can't measure up to Nashville West team. There was a good young man that made it up as he made me a small peperoni, but I still had to wait another 20 minutes to get what I ordered.

We LOVE our NY PIE friends! We come to see the show every Friday! We never miss - if we do we come the next time - Saturday or Sunday! TJ, Jazz and the guys are the best and the lazy grandma is awesome too! We love the pizza and are so glad to have them part of the neighborhood!

They were super backed up yesterday but the food was great and they gave my kids a giant cookie and a free water for our wait. Most places wouldn’t do that so it was appreciated. I’m from Brooklyn and this pizza tastes just like the pizzas back home.

I have been to NY Pie at least 20 times since they have opened. I have had everything from a quick lunch slice to an entire pie. Its honestly the best pizza in Tennessee. Also the garlic knots are the best I have ever had. I worked in Brooklyn for several years traveling from Franklin each week. My first stop was always to get a slice of real NY style pizza. I am so happy to have the real thing locally. Also the people running this place are amazing! So friendly and customer focused. You can't go wrong with NY Pie. It's so great to have them here in Franklin! Go see TJ and the team to experience the best around!

We decided to order pizza from them (former New Yorkers) craving a NYC kinda slice. The lazy grandma pie was my favorite. A robust sauce with a perfect amount of garlic and basil. The basil was super fresh. Loved every bite of it. I hope to pay a visit soon, I'm sure the service & ambiance are just as good.

Definitely a must try place if you are looking for good, New York style pizza. Nice crispy crust.. minimal flop even with a bunch of toppings, nice and crispy crust and under carriage. Service was spot on..very friendly and took pride in delivering a good experience. If you choose to dine in there are a few high tops inside and a couple outdoor tables if you want to enjoy good pizza and weather. Will be back for sure.

One of the 3 best NY style pizzerias in our area, Amico's on Nolensville, Sal's on Hillsboro and NY Pie on 96.

The food here is absolutely delicious! This was our go-to Friday night pizza spot for a while, and the quality has never disappointed. However, weekends--especially Fridays--can get very busy. We've had a few experiences where our pick-up order wasn't ready until 30+ minutes after the quoted time. The staff is always kind and doing their best, but it seems like they may need to expand or add extra help to keep up with demand. For the best experience, we highly recommend ordering on a weeknight--service is much quicker, and the food is just as amazing.

We came for the first time and had a so so experience. We ordered mozzarella sticks that were just frozen out of a bad so that was disappointing. We also order a supreme pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese and received neither. It tasted like a cracker with toppings. Also the pizza maker was not using gloves. He did wash his hands a lot but kept playing on his phone between making pizzas made us wonder how clean his hands were when he was making the pizza.

Coming from a NY'er, this is a Very authentic NY style pizza! Great sauce, must try this place.

I don't know whats changed but my last few times I was disappointed with my sausage pizza. Overcooked, sausage is a lot (more than i like) but just didnt like how it was burnt and scattered all over messily. I keep trying cause I like the crust but I may have to find a new place or make certain requests on my order. Just checking on Yelp to see if I'm the only one. The Charlotte Road one seems to make the pizza right.

4.5 We are always on the lookout for a great pizza and now we have this excellent establishment not far from our home. There've been several pizza places here before, but this one is, without a doubt, the best of all. Authentic New York style pizza with excellent thin crust done to your preferred crispness. (In our case very crispy).... savory sauce and quality toppings. Order online, by phone, or in person. By the slice pizza is available in-house (with a complementary to go boxes also). Handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. Limited seating inside but some outside seating available as well. I'm sure I will be adding to this review very soon. And I am just as sure my family and other pizza aficionados will be adding their stars to reviews of this place. Welcome to the neighborhood NY Pie !

The pizzas here are so good and the antipasta also delicious! They don't have a lot of room for dining in. Most everyone orders pickup or delivery.

This is some pretty average pizza. Eating in the restaurant is pretty negative experience because the tables are so small that you can't fit the pizza and plates all on the table without stuff hanging off. The people working were nice and the pizza came out in a timely manner which is nice. Unfortunately the pizza is not very good. I miss the old pizza place that was there that used the high-quality cheese, which is what I think. This place is missing.

Nice enough folks, but for 38 bones, the xl pizza was well undercooked and I sat there for 10 minutes before I got up and asked if my pizza was done they told me it was and was sitting. Bummer. Not deal breaker but not ideal either.

I work within walking distance from NY Pie and the food and service are both absolutely amazing!!! They also have delicious desserts as well!! If I have time and stay and eat there, the ambiance is fun and lively, people coming in and out with their orders. Sometimes business meetings take place their, meeting friend and or family at this place .

I am really picky when it comes to NY style pizza as I lived in NYC for many years and love love love NY pizza. That being said, this is the closet to authentic NY style pizza I could find in the area. The staff were great and friendly, quick service. Inside the place is somewhat small, not for large parties, it's more like a grab and go place but the pizza was delish! Parking available outside and there was an outside table or two. I also tried their NY style cheesecake, not my favorite to be honest but to be fair, they do not make the cheesecake there.

Delicious pizza! We loved it. Had a pepperoni XL and the small Greek. We had a great experience and the food was delicious. There was a small wait as their order machine was acting up and large orders in front of us but they gave our kids a cookie to eat as we waited and everyone was happy. Looks like a great place to grab a slice and chill. Will try that when I am by myself one day! Thanks

Pizza is good, not the best, but very good. It was a little greasy and floppy, but the cheese was generous, as were the toppings. We ordered several pizzas and the toppings were generous, pizza was hot, and appreciated the amount of cheese. Prices were fair. Waiting on the phone to place the take out order could have been faster and more efficient, but food was ready when we arrived. My only complaint is there was sooooo much crust. If you are a crust person, you'd be in heaven. For me, it was way too much crust. We would try this place again and can see why so many people like it.

I went back to NY Pie and decided to order a pepperoni pizza slice. My original complaint was the crust. It was too soft for my taste and didn't remind me of NY-style pizza. I'd be happy to say that the pizza slice's crust met my expectations. It had a crispy exterior with a softer interior. The tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese were excellent as before. I would come back here again for my NY Pizza fix.

Food was ordered for delivery to our hotel. Pizzas were fresh and delicious, generous toppings and crispy crust. We'd definitely order again!

Ok, ok, I can't tell you if this truly represents NY pizza, but dang it's good! I've had lots of pizza claiming to be NY style pizza and this is my favorite. The crust is a little crispy from start to finish. And the flavors of the toppings are vibrant. Y'all gotta stop in and try this pizza!

If you like New York style Pizza this is the best!!! We travel to Franklin every 3 months for the Neurologist and this will be our new dining pizza spot for sure and I wish I could have it more but we are 3 and 1/2 hours away! They are super friendly and the clean dining room makes it even better. The cheese will keep you smiling as it's meted oh so perfectly 3 months can't go fast enough

This is now our favorite pizza! Second time we had it and both times were so good. The ratio of sauce to cheese was perfect and the dough was awesome. It was what I'd consider a NY slice- large, foldable pieces. If that's your style, you'd love this! We got the largest pizza for family of four and had 2 huge slices leftover.

I only went there when it first opened, the pie was burnt, no taste. Maybe it has changed since we were there.

We got a large half and half pizza and a gluten free pizza. Both were flavorful and the gluten free pizza was not overly dry or crispy. The food was cooked promptly and the flavors were fresh.

First time eating here and it will certainly not be the last. The pizza is delicious and definitely NY authentic pizza. I had Grandma's Pizza. I'm not sure how many years ago that I last ate a Sicilian style pizza, but this one was 5*. Mouthwatering and delicious.

My son and I visited and enjoyed delicious pizza by the slice. The chef was entertaining his nieces and nephews, watching from their seats at the counter. Another customer, who was a NY native, expressed his appreciation to the chef and verified the authenticity of the NY origins. Very friendly and casual, with counter seating and tables.

White pizza was pretty solid. Pepperoni and sausage...not my favorite. The sausage itself was really good, it has a really nice fennel flavor, but the grease was pouring off the slice when I picked it up. Seriously, a steady stream. I didn't really want to eat it after seeing that.

Good pizza. Nice change from the other styles. Mostly, less sauce. We ordered a crispier crust so our's wasn't foldable - which I didn't want. You get to choose the style you prefer.

Likely the best NY style pizza in Franklin. Order your slice(s) at the counter and service is quick. It's clean but like most NY pizzerias the ambiance is bare bones.

NY Pie is the best pizza around! If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and get it the next time you want pizza. Give yourself some time though, they don't rush the cooking and I think that's their secret!

Excellent pizza. We ordered a large pepperoni with mushrooms (take out). Friendly staff. Crust was perfectly crispy. The cheese was top shelf... you could tell at first bite. I used the paper towel trick on my slice-- pepperoni will be a bit greasy but my hubby thought it was perfect. We'll definitely be back to try other varieties. Best pizza we've had in quite some time.
