"Jamaican restaurant Nyamminz + Jamminz tucked inside the Four Corners Free Market on Euclid Avenue in Little Five Points closed Sunday after three years in business. The bare bones restaurant located between Elmyr and El Bandido had a nearly five star rating on Yelp—lauded by its customers for having some of the “best” jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, and oxtails in Atlanta. A reader received the following email from Nyamminz + Jamminz over the weekend: “Dear Customers’ We will be permanently closing our doors on August 12th, 2018 at 6pm. We want to thank all of our customers for being so loyal and dedicated over the past 3 years of us opening our doors. Best Jamaican food in the city! I read the reviews and just had to try it. I love the flavor of their food! I had the jerk chicken and before I left I tried it just to see what all the rave was about and when I tell you I almost turned around to order more!!! I’m actually going back again today for an encore! Food was so good didn’t have anything left over for the photo so took a pic of when I was done lol

It's probably too good. And you'll never get enough sauce. I'm going to ask if they'll sell some to me for extra, it's that good. Have not been in person in a while but also available from Uber Eats. I enjoy the space and the staff. Best Jamaican food in town. Spent the last 2 weeks checking other places and none were as good. Editing this review to clarify the parking situation...never had an issue as far as getting a boot. But I've also only parked in the lot when I ate here, and left afterwards. But don't think someone isn't watching the lot waiting for a chance to boot you if you DON'T read/follow the posted signage.

Great service and even better fresh food food! Very authentic Jamaican food. That Granny put har back inna it food! I had the ackee and saltfish with festival and it was freshly made to order. This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be coming back.

My first time at Nyamminz and Jamminz and I was pleasantly surprised. Rarely do you find such authentic tasting Jamaican food outside of Jamaica. I tried the oxtail with rice and peas, plantains and vegetables and can say it's one of the best tasting meals I have had and I have been eating Jamaican food all my life. The oxtail was tender and well seasoned. The atmosphere and customer service was great. I will definitely be coming back.

Took my boyfriend here cause I was craving Jamaican food. It gets 4 stars because my oxtails were a little on the salty side but he loved the jerk chicken. The lady who fixed the food was attentive to us. Rice n peas with cabbage as our sides were really good. I would recommend this place as well as come again. Also, make sure you pay attention to the signs that lead to the restaurant, u can miss it if you aren’t paying attention

First time trying Jamaican food and I'm in love! Stopped here after getting henna done inside of the small mall like place. Ordered the jerk chicken with oxtail gravy on the rice and peas. Absolutely delicious. Cheap but large portions! Definitely a new favorite and will be returning soon

I love love love their food! It's so fresh , never had no complaints. I go literally every week and order the Oxtail lunch special with a side of plantains. It's a great amount enough for me to take it home and have for dinner.
