"Oak Parker is situated in a cute white storefront on 11 Mile, where you’ll find a variety of Euro-centric bar specialties like Hungarian sausage, snacks like chimichangas filled with pastrami made in-house daily, as well as a generous serving of hand-breaded schnitzel. This gastropub is open during the daytime as well, so be sure to check out lunch or weekend brunch. For next level relaxation, there’s a chill lounge called BJ’s Speakeasy in the basement featuring live DJ sets." - Serena Maria Daniels

You couldn't tell from the outside but this restaurant is fantastic! Outside looks like nothing special but as soon as you go in it's like walking into a fancy restaurant with a nice bar and delicious food. The menu had american and german foods. I was torn between the chicken schnitzel sandwich and the double smash burger. I finally decided on the schnitzel. I also decided to try the warm potato salad and the cucumber salad. All of these were absolutely amazing. The prices weren't outrageous but upscale. If you get a chance I would highly recommend you try this place out.

Met up with a group of friends. Wait staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The restaurant was busy, did not take reservations, but was not overcrowded. Food and hand crafted drinks were delicious. Will definitely go back. This was my first time at the restaurant. I had chicken schnitzel and it was perfectly cooked. I got to choose my sauce, and it was a perfect match. I was able to finish my dish without feeling overstuffed. The unexpected warm evening was perfect for sitting o. The covered patio.

I had heard great things about the oak parker. I was truly disappointed. The $16.00 Caesar salad was a bowl of lettuce with cheese. To add salmon was +$11.00. The dressing is quite good. The sandwich my husband got was adequate. The service was great, the atmosphere is fresh, parking can be a challenge.

Had the Reuben and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. Great spot with solid food and a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back for more!

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my cousin’s 80th birthday at Oak Parker in Oak Park, MI (11 Mile & Coolidge). The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food—especially the Reuben sandwich—was outstanding! Everything is made in-house with care. Our waitress, Carrie, was kind and attentive, and the cooks clearly love what they do—it shows in the food. Big thanks to the owner and bartender for creating such a friendly, relaxed vibe. Highly recommend this spot for great food and hospitality!

Having grown up in Oak Park we were excited to try the relatively new Oak Parker and have our first ever adult "beverage" in Oak Park which was a dry town when we lived there. We arrived early on a Saturday before 5:00 and seated immediately. It didn't take long to fill up with people waiting to get in. Really like the vibe here...classic neighborhood bar. Service was prompt and very welcoming. I started with the clam chowder which was tasty with a nice amount of clams. I prefer a thicker clam chowder rather than this "brothier" (is that even a word?) but enjoyed it. I went for the chicken schnitzel with the mushroom sauce which was excellent. One very large pounded chicken breast cooked perfectly. It came with a small container of spiced cucumbers. Would be nice to include fries with the entree. My other two guests had the fish & chips. They use whitefish rather than the more typical cod. The fish was more dense and breaded rather than lighter and airier than many places. My two companions thought it was good not great preferring their fish more lightly breaded and airier fish. I actually thought it was very good. We all though the fries could use some improvement. I would probably give the place a 3.5 but am rounding to 4 stars because I like the vibe of the place so much and for old times sake for my love of Oak Park. It's definitely worth a visit and I can see why the Oak Parker is so busy. It's a great addition for people in the area for sure

I'm am proud to say you're in my neighborhood!! Everything was on point from food, service, atmosphere. The pastrami was to die for- everything made in house. Get here and get you some. Zack was absolutely amazing... ask for him.

Google
Great food, seriously delicious and so flavorful! I tried the chicken schnitzel with the best expresso martini. My boyfriend said “it’s the Jazz for me” safe to say he also enjoyed himself 😂. He’s a simple man and was very pleased with the wings and a few cocktails. We will definitely be back very soon.

Yelp
Great food, great service as well. For a place that occupies a relatively nondescript location near the corner of Coolidge and 11 Mile Rd, the Oak Parker is a delight. Friendly, efficient service saw to quickly remedy an underwhelming second drink -- just an indication of the attention to detail. Visited in winter; look forward to returning in summer where we can try the outdoor seating area as well. Cozy yet doesn't feel like you are sitting on top of each other. Recommended: the "Old Flame" cocktail will light a fire under any Old Fashioned aficionado...

Yelp
My first visit - friends treated me to a birthday dinner as SWMBO is out of town. Thank you very much! We scored an outside table - thank gawd, because it was so noisy inside. Waitress arrived promptly and took our drink orders, which arrived promptly. I was a tad disappointed when my Ted Seger near-beer was served in the can, not a chilled glass. I used my too small (6 oz) water glass. While the server kept the water bottle full and chilled, as I was never asked if I wanted another beer. The spicy cucumber salad was terrific. A perfect blend of sweet, sour and a bit spicy. The fish fry was excellent! The fish was expertly prepared and delivered hot ... and without a napkin or silverware. Grumble. The thin cut fries were perfectly fried and the seasoning was great and did not overwhelm the potato taste. The coleslaw is a minuscule portion and of the coarse & creamy variety - more, puhleeze. The tartar sauce was another joy, not the typical mayo & relish concoction ... and nicely complimented the fries. My dining companion ordered the chicken schnitzel and would order it again. The downsides? - The landscaping guy decided that mowing the grass at prime dinner hours was a good idea. Not! - Parking is constrained, but there is sufficient street parking available with ~25 yards. Will I return? Yes, but only during the warm months when outside seating is available ... to avoid the cacophony inside.

Yelp
Amazing schnitzel. Get extra gravy. And if mashed potatoes are on the special for the day, get those too. Today I got the Reuben. And I think my heart just melted. I've been getting corned beef from an old mom and pop place all my life (House of Reuben) and this simply blows it out of the water. I hate to say I feel betrayed by my childhood establishment; THIS is what good corned beef tastes like! And to think I was hesitant because I have had mixed feelings about sauerkraut; this one is great; not sharp and vinegary at all and the Gruyère is always a perfect choice. (Swiss is doable. Overprocessed cheap Swiss is worse) Dang. I'm willing to bet the Pastrami is just as good. Thank you!!!

Yelp
You could easily drive past this place and never even notice it. How cool on the inside- great vibe ! Extensive menu. Great service. Shared schnitzel sandwich & corned beef. Huge ! Very very very good! Comes with some homemade chips and really good cucumber type pickles. The slaw on sandwiches - great also added in 2 Arnold palmers - with a good tip $50 gunna be back for sure

Yelp
Amazing service, really amazing food/drinks, and good vibe here!! I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Great burger! Stopped in for lunch as I was in the area and had heard good things. Tasty burger for the price (a lot less expensive that Redcoat Tavern!) and will be back with the wife to have dinner soon.

Yelp
Oak Parker is now added to our go to places for brunch! Such GENEROUS portions and the food quality was extraordinary. We were all so pleased, as we've never been for brunch. I got the Ruben and couldn't finished the other half, the sandwich meat, alone, could've been my meal. Our server was so thoughtful, bringing things before we even needed them. The restaurant was hip and bright, with a frosted sunroof, to let light into the side of the space. We will 100% be back.

Yelp
Music is a tad loud inside. Imani is waiting on us. Ordered the Parker salad, Caesar no croutons, Reuben, warm potato salad, chicken schnitzel with chili and beans and a navy bean soup. $66.78. The Caesar is good, nice dressing and it comes with red leaf lettuce and Bibb lettuce too. $14 for this bowl of lettuce. The Parker salad is okay, rather bland and boring though. $6 The navy bean soup is made with pork, would have been disappointed if I had ordered it for me. The warm potato salad was pretty tasty, just didn't love the white round potatoes so much, felt like it would have been better with red potatoes. The Reuben was the best part of the meal, then maybe the Caesar salad. Thick cuts of corn beef meat inside. It's good. The chicken schnitzel was so-so, nice and crunchy crust to it, just a bit heavy and not so amazing. Service is good, food overall wasn't bad.

Yelp
One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Very juicy and the onion bun complimented it perfectly. Cool bar vibe and it was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night. The service was great at the bar and solid beer selection

Yelp
I love a great neighborhood restaurant and the Oak Parker is just that. My friends and I decided to come for dinner this past Saturday. The restaurant doesn't take reservations so we were prepared to wait. Downstairs at the Oak Parker is the Vinyl Room, a cool & groovy lounge, so we had a drink downstairs while waiting for our table. Luckily, we didn't have to wait to long and were seated at a table that was right by the outdoor patio. The drink menu has lots of interesting craft cocktails. I started with the Cactus Colada which was so tasty that I forgot there was tequila in it! It comes with a crazy straw so that in itself could be a predictor of your night if you had a few of these. LOL We started with the Hungarian sausage board. Then on to the main courses. I had the veal schnitzel with the woodsman mushroom sauce. The rest of my party had the burger, salmon, patty melt, and veal schnitzel. My friend who ordered the schnitzel asked for both the lemon and dill sauce, and the mushroom sauce because he couldn't decide. He liked the mushroom sauce better. We also had three orders of fries for the table. One of the orders for fries came with the mushroom gravy and a dollop of sour cream ("gravy fries"). I usually order a side of mayo with my fries but perhaps in the future, maybe a side of sour cream. It was definitely a delicious combo. My veal was really tender and the mushroom sauce added more flavor. I will probably order this again on my next visit but the burger and patty melt also looked delicious. All my friends enjoyed their meals. For dessert, we got one of everything. - marble cake, peanut butter cookies, and chocolate kokosh cake. My favorite was the kokosh. So good! What is kokosh you ask? Well...it's like babka but wayyyyyy better as in, more chocolaty, more gooey. The best way to describe it is think the gooey center of a cinnamon roll which is really the best part of any cinnamon roll. Definitely order the kokosh. Besides coming back for dinner again, I definitely want to spend a lazy Sunday at Oak Parker for brunch

Yelp
I have been to this cute little place 2 times and I can't say enough good things about it. The food tastes so fresh and cooked to perfection. The drinks are very tasty and made well. We especially love the bartender Sydney!

Ruben R.

Yelp
Great go to restaurant with great service. Parking is a little tricky. The burger and schnitzel sandwich is incredible. Will be back soon to try some of their drinks.

Yelp
So happy to finally visit Oak Parker! When we arrived there was an hour wait, but it wasn't bad at all, as we were able to chill in the basement lounge. Music and drinks were both great, loved the vibe. When we were seated, our waitress immediately greeted us. She was kind and helpful. I ordered the Rachel. It was delicious!!! The portion was huge. I could only eat half. I loved the chips that came with it too. Overall, a fantastic experience. Is recommend this to anyone!

Bernadette B.

Yelp
I'm so torn about giving this place 3 stars. I want to give them more. The food was outstanding, and the service was great. But the music was so absurdly LOUD. My ears are still ringing. It's a small space, and for a Wednesday night, the place was packed. Parking can be a bit of trouble, but we ended up parking in the neighborhoods nearby and walking a little ways. Also it's not super clear which building it is and where to park. They have an online wait system, and for our party of 6, the wait inside wasn't bad at all. But as soon as we sat down, my Apple Watch screamed at me that it was too loud, but I couldn't hear the notification because... it was too loud. We were a party of 6, and it was impossible to hear opposite ends of the table. By the end of the night, our voices were hoarse from trying to scream at each other. The food tho! It was fantastic. Our starters were tasty, and I particularly enjoyed my Chicken Schnitzel sandwich. Absolutely tasty and dangerous if I lived nearby. I'll happily order it again if we go back. The Grilled Marble Cake caught us by surprise. Exactly how does one grill cake? But it's just heated up on the grill and is DELICIOUS. Again - my review's torn. It's a fantastic place to eat, but it's a tiny place and the speaker music was overwhelming. I could barely hear myself think. They have a bar space downstairs that we didn't end up checking out just because of how loud things were. I can appreciate wanting to have a bar ambiance with the space downstairs, but since the upstairs is clearly laid out as a dinner space, could you maybe turn it down?

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Interesting vibes but amazing food. Modern decor, mainly a sandwich menu with a few plated options, lots of beer and fun cocktails. We went at 10pm on a Friday night, sat right away, serving was good but it was a little too loud for the vibes, mainly the bartender who was yelling the entire time. The burger was AMAZING, fries were really good, soup special-chorizo chili was great. Overall I would definitely go back and would recommend!

Yelp
The Oak Parker is a hidden gem! Next door to an oil change repair shop and nestled behind privacy shrubs sits this cute culinary delight. Its super clean modern esthetic almost gives an industrial feel, but it's not at all sterile. The environment is really warm and inviting. It's trendy even, but not pretentious; and the music was awesome! The space has a huge garage door in front, that I'm sure is amazing in the summertime. On the other side is a nice size patio with heat lamps. It's a vibe, definitely. I'd imagine that you'd barely notice the traffic on 11 Mile. The patio seemed to seat about 25 people. Inside, the main portion of the restaurant has plenty of seating for parties of most sizes, with a surround-seating bar that seems to sit about 12 or so. Connected to the main dining area is an outdoor-ish, more casual sun porch space that's heated and bright, which is more casual than the main dining area, but it's cozy. Sam served me, and she was fantastic with a great personality and a flare for awesome customer service. I heard her with other guests, and she offered exemplary service to everyone. She shared with me that they don't use freezers and that everything is prepared fresh. I ordered a pomegrante martini, it was sweet, tart and refreshing. There are a few other martinis and cocktails on the menu that all seemed impressive. My meal included warm potato salad and the pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce. I ordered the items a la carte. The dishes were served with a side of pickled cucumbers that served as a palate cleanser, cutting the richness of the main and side. Other sides included navy bean soup, slaw, and a few other choices. There are also apetizers, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and other choices of schnitzel. My meal was excellent - fresh and cooked well. Everything was the right temperature and seasoned well. The fry coating stayed on each piece of the pork as I cut it. IMO, schnitzel is such a clever choice for a menu item. Eating it sparked the nostalgia of my Granny's fried pork chops. I'd love to have an "Elite date" here with other Yelpers. Guys, please check it out and give it its much deserved shine.

Yelp
New place, off of the new and growing strip on 11 between Greenfield and Coolidge. It is about 5 blocks from the rest of the social district and about 1/2 mile from each of the two new pot stores. Very small private lot, three spaces and two handicap spots on one side, three spots on the other. Nearby city free lot. Large patio out front, bright side room on one side. Otherwise a dim barroom and tables. The drinks were good, a decent but small beer list. We had the burgers and they were really good and not badly priced for burgers in 2023. The fish dinner was excessively priced, and for some reason the goldrush cocktail was $2 more than the other, more reasonable priced drinks. Staff was great. Polite, friendly, and fast.

Caitlin D.

Yelp
What a great gem! We love coming here 1-3 times a week! The food is always so delish and fresh, we've never had a bad meal here. The wings and pastrami chimis are great starters. The burger is tried and true - my fiancés favorite and the Rachel and chicken schnitzel are my tavorites! The bartenders provide great service and are engaging - Sam and Stevie are our favorites :) Downstairs is a super moody vibe during the weekends while they spin local artists and serve a selected and crafted menu. Definitely a place to try and will forever be a hot spot of Oak Park! Looking for a his and hers drink recommendation? Try the anejo old fashion and cactus colada

Stacey S.

Yelp
Omg when I say I've found my new neighborhood eatery Oak Parker is it hand down. The food was delicious I had the smash burger and a side of fries my burger came with chips and homemade pickles so good. We sat at the bar and the service wad exceptional. The restaurant is very cozy with TV's mounted on the wall for viewing sports. This is my fav the basement waiting area with a live DJ.

Blair S.

Yelp
This has been one of my new favorite restaurants. I have yet to be disappointed! I love the schnitzel and the burger, but have heard that so many other things are delicious. I would highly recommend trying the Oak Parker. If you are there on the weekend, try to make your way downstairs and check out how cute that area is.

Kevin G.

Yelp
Absolutely one of my favorite bars in Metro Detroit. The basement is very comfortable and usually each night there is a different DJ spinning vinyl. Market rate cocktails, wine and beer. What makes this place remarkable is that besides paying for a drink, it comes close to being over a friends house or your own.

Katie B.

Yelp
This is only a review on the drinks and service, as I didn't eat a meal there (yet!). My friend and I grabbed drinks there after work a couple weeks ago and the drinks were fabulous! I got the Parker Posey and then the Razzle Dazzle. My friend got Maiden's Blush. The Parker Posey was a delicious mix of gin, elder flower, Prosecco. The Maiden's blush was like a classy jungle juice. I would love to go there again. The patio and the bar were gorgeous and it was a very relaxing setting. I am taking away one star because we think our waiter forgot about us between the first and second drink, as well as it took over 30 min to get our second drink.

Kaitlyn H.

Yelp
Great place for food, drinks and good music! We came in for a table but there was a wait and luckily there was an area downstairs with booths, music and a bar! The bar was small but that bartender was a great host. He made amazing drinks. I had a bring with banana in it which was strong and smooth. Upstair we had dinner. I had the fried fish plate which was delicious. The fish was tender and very crispy. It was a large portion so I wasn't left hungry afterwards. The waiter was very friendly and helpful which our large group. I would rec this place to anyone! Very good food and drinks.

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
We got there at 5 on a Friday. Seated by 5:30. Host was friendly. Server was ok,maybe having a rough night . Didn't want to engage much. Seemed annoyed by simple requests .(napkins) Food outstanding from smash burger , fish and chips and tuna tostada (special) and house salad. drinks were excellent . We then went downstairs to listen to DJ and have drinks . Bartender was moving and grooving down there . Great location and decor is nice inside and outside .

Nicole J.

Yelp
Nice! Love the addition to the neighborhood!! Stopped in after work and was not disappointed. Ducks were poured with love (wink wink) The food was good too. My burger had a like too much garlic sauce so that was a bummer. Fries were good, and the wings were good. Looking forward to going back and sitting outside when the weather is better. The place is clean and bright! Service was good, sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive.

Evan A.

Yelp
What a gem. Elevated bar food with fun cocktails and a cozy atmosphere. Probably the best schnitzel I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.

Stacia G.

Yelp
Ambiance music drink food This is a cozy (code word for small) new spot in Oak Park. I've been here twice with my partner in two weeks. There is parking out back on Coolidge just behind the oil change place. Great bar that is first come, first serve. I've never waited long for a table. "vinyl room" downstairs. Different cocktail offerings. Classy. Again, intimate. Cozy seating. Chairs on the outside harder to move than it looks . Food is simple, tasty, amazing. I had the pork schnitzel the first time I was there- unfortunately I had the largest beef cabbage roll so with garlic mashed potato's... AS AN APPETIZER!!!! Don't misunderstand... that schnitzel was thin! It fit my plate. It was a lot with some tasty green beans served on top and a side of cucumbers. The pastrami sandwich was devoured by my boyfriend. Next trip the sausage appetizer plate- yum! And a patty melt- that disappeared within seconds. It's awesome ... obviously will be back.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Such a cool vibe. Loved the basement for the music, ambiance and cocktails. Apps also great. After the basement experience, we ventured upstairs for a delicious pastrami sandwich on a grilled onion roll. Great service delicious food. Then we headed back down to the basement for music and another cocktail! Extra cool vibe.

Karen W.

Yelp
Fun location. Very busy, good food, can be a bit loud. Moderately priced, friendly and professional staff.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
We came for a girl's night at 5:45pm on a Saturday. The website said there wasn't a wait but we walked in after 2 other groups had been seated. The host said there was a few min wait unless we wanted a small table in the bar area. He suggested we wait because it would have been a tight fit, so we did. We were seated in about 4 min. on the brighter side of the restaurant. The walls were painted with images of people enjoying food and drinks. Tables were white with wood benches for seating. Music was muted on this side but I could see how people would think it was loud on the bar side. We each ordered a different drink (espresso martini, Cobra Kai Mai Tai, Cactus Colada and a non-alcoholic Parker Posey) which everyone said were good. Everyone ordered a different entree; patty melt (it came with homemade chips) with a side of gravy fries and a side of the sweet & spicy cucumbers; a double cheeseburger on the brioche bun with a side of fries; a veggie burger (it wasn't a frozen pre-made patty) on an onion roll with the sweet potatoes and a double cheeseburger with substitutions - just raw onion and mustard and ketchup. All employees that helped us were very helpful and friendly. Thank you to our waiter who took our picture. My Aunt said she'll be back with her husband and I will be back with my group of friends.

Ash B.

Yelp
Man their food flavors are out of this world! It's a little quaint spot in Oak Park that'll surprise you with the menu you being so small with so many options! The cauliflower and the wings were my favorite! The sauce on the wings was fire! The Caesar salad....not so much. The pickled cucumbers were delicious. The girls that work there are sooo sweet and accommodating. The customer service is alone good enough for me to return. I can't wait to try more things on the menu!

David D.

Yelp
I've only had carry out from here once thus far. I got the corned beef and potatoes. The corned beef wasn't the most impressive in terms of representation and eatability, but it still honestly set a new standard for me as far as corned beef quality goes. So for that it was incredible. Half of my potato salad was quite undercooked. I'll have to actually eat in to really score this place out, but just simply having that quality of corned beef with the rest aside was still plenty to get me excited to come back.

Margie S.

Yelp
Super fun night out at Oak Parker! Great food, service and ambiance is the deal at Oak Parker! Hit up the website before you go , as you can see wait times and put yourself on the waitlist before you go. We got a text our table was ready and had 15 minutes to get there. We were seated immediately and our server was at our table shortly after. We ordered a round of cocktails and apps to share. Everything was delicious and well priced. We ordered the pastrami chimis which were 4 large pieces of heaven! I tried the pork schnitzel which was absolutely delicious. You can change it up with options. I chose the mushroom sauce which was perfect on a cold snowy night. We also shared the caeser salad, which was handmade and tasty! All in all, our table of 5 was very happy! Oak Parker is a very welcome addition to Oak Park and I highly recommend it.

Ben V.

Yelp
This experience was full of good food and a cool atmosphere. Not sure what pastrami chimis are but they were the best thing I had at an 8.5/10. The schnitzel sandwich was huge and you have to eat the outside in full before hitting the bun 7.5/10. My friend had a double decker burger with Gruyère cheese and he said it was one of the best he's had. Overall, I would give this an 8/10 and recommend trying multiple things on the menu. Lastly, the service was very nice and helpful on informing us what a chimi was.

Brittany L.

Yelp
It was late, my partner wanted a 'sandwich' and Oak Parker was open! Do not pass up this gem!!! I do not frequent bars. I don't find them to be very comfortable venues as I do not drink and they're often loud, but I have an affinity with great food and Oak Parker did not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich and it was the most tender piece of chicken I have had in the longest time. Not a single bite was dry or chewy. Just perfectly crunchy and delicious! I ate the entire piece of chicken, leaving only a nibble of bun and some house-made chips. We ordered some fries as well and they had this scrumptious seasoning on them that left no need for ketchup; honestly they would have been even better beside my sandwich with even more coleslaw from the schnitzel. I enjoyed them more than the chips! My partner opted for the Rachel and once again, the meat was tender and juicy! Not one bite was dry or overcooked. We both cleaned our plates and agreed they were fantastic dishes. My main question when I order food, is whether or not I would order the same meal again and I can say without hesitation I absolutely would. Thank you so much for a great late-night dinner!

Frederick R.

Yelp
This place is great. The food is great the drinks are excellent and the beer prices are incredible. Add the downstairs DJ records area and you have the complete package. Pastrami is outstanding check this place out

Maxwell L.

Yelp
Oak Parker is a new American-style restaurant housed in a relatively unassuming corner building. While we waited to be seated, we were able to chill out in the basement "vinyl room". Way better than standing out in the cold! We grabbed a couple of drinks from the bar (all unique from the bar menu above) and socialized. It is a busy place with not very much seating so make sure to add your name to the online waitlist! The ambiance had a great mixture of neighborhood vibes with a modern, low-light aesthetic. I ordered a side of calamari, double cheeseburger with potato bun, and a side of fries. The calamari was super fresh and crispy. The smash-style burger was so juicy, soft, and honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while. 10/10 I would easily go back for that. The fries had a nice sweet and salty flavor, but the texture felt akin to In-N-Out. Fresh but slightly soggy and barely crispy. I definitely want to try out their pastrami sandwiches and schnitzel offerings when I come back.

Yelp
Super breathe of fresh air in this area of Oak Park/Berkley. Very hip interior but very cozy and neighborly feeling. My oh my the food was delicious as well. I also had some of their reuben in addition to the photos I shared and that was very tasty. The salad was nice and cold and crunchy. Schnitzel was nice and crispy, definitely recommend the lemon sauce (they also have a mushroom). The cinnamon roll and crumble cake were so dang worth it. Mouthwatering meal all around. The staff were very nice, though my only gripe is that the service was quite slow, but I'm chalking that up to them being very new and working things out still, hoping it will improve! Recommend!!

Yelp
Loved everything about this spot! Ambiance, customer service, and food were all on point. We were greeted right away by a friendly host. Went to the bar for a drink and the bartender was nice and made great cocktails. The cactus colada was my fav. Ended up sitting there for dinner as well. The chicken schnitzel sandwich and burger were both amazing. The Parker salad was sooo good with the sweet and spicy cucumbers!! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place is always banging! The food, drinks and atmosphere are on point and service is quick! Love the pork schnitzel and the Rachel. Gotta get a Caesar salad next time. The person next to our table was munching on one that looked so good!

Yelp
Everything about this place is AWESOME! Great drinks, food, staff, and atmosphere. Potato salad is incredible. Also really enjoyed the burger with homemade chips. Can't wait to go back to try the pastrami and schnitzel. Christian was a great bartender. This place is an amazing addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
I have a love-hate relationship with Oak Parker. The love is for a place that serves better than bar food in Oak Park with a trendy vibe (this might be the first of its kind?) and from the people who opened OWL which is our favorite late night spot. The hate is for the parking situation (which is almost nonexistent and requires you to park illegally somewhere else then break your ankle walking past the potholes to get to the front door) the outrageous wait time (we put our name on the waitlist, arrived five minutes after our table was supposed to be ready and still waited another hour to be seated) and the cocktails which are $$ but barely average. The food is very hit or miss with a higher price point -- the carnivores in our group loved their burgers and fried fish, the more health-conscious were struggling with a syrupy salmon and undercooked vegetables **if you are veg you are going to have a hard time finding some options but I will probably be back because it has a nice neighborhood ambiance and a menu that is unique enough to make me want to try another funky thing - cauliflower schnitzel and spicy cucs anyone?

Yelp
LISTEN... Abraham YOU and your staff is much appreciated! I have 20+ years in service and understand the most important piece of exceeding a guest expectation is how you react when things go wrong. Staff member Morgan CRUSHED it serving my family and Abraham words can not express. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
The Oak Parker is the real deal. Exactly what a local watering hole should be. Great drinks and fun food - expertly slung. Love that it is so close to home. The pastrami chimis are a next generation take on corned beef egg rolls that you get around Detroit at the Asian Corned Beef places. So good!

Yelp
My wife and had dinner today at the Oak Parker. We chose where we would like to sit. The waitress came to our table immediately. I had the Razzle Dazzle and my wife had the Maiden's Blush drinks and we enjoyed them. For our main courses I had the pastrami sandwich on an onion roll and my wife had the patty melt on rye bread and came with home-made chips. We also had the sweet and spicy cucumber salad and cole slaw. They are big enough sides to share. Everything was wonderful. Our service was perfect. We liked the layout of the restaurant. In front there is a nice out-door seating area. The atmosphere is great. We plan on going there many times. We highly recommend it.

Yelp
We had brunch at Oak Parker today, and it was fantastic! Our group of six tried a variety of dishes i the breakfast sandwich, omelette, Monte Cristo, and pastrami sandwich - and every single was great. The highlight was the cinnamon roll, which was the perfect sweet treat to share. The Service was friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I finally tried this place tonight. I got the pork schnitzel with the mushroom sauce, the warm potato salad, and the gravy fries. Everything was delicious, but there was so much food that I could barely finish. The schnitzel was huge! It took up the whole plate. I ate and ate and ate and maybe finished half of it? It was delicious and I would definitely order that again. I might have to try the lemon dill sauce for comparison purposes. I've had German potato salad before, but their warm potato salad really wasn't the same. It was more like roasted golden potatoes with a lemon dill sauce. Don't get me wrong, it was very good, it just didn't scream "potato salad" to me. The gravy fries were very good - it tasted like the same gravy that was on the schnitzel (minus the 'shrooms), but I'm not sure if it actually actually was. The service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and brought us water refills before we even had to ask. It's a small "blink and you'll miss it" place, but super cute inside. There's also a very cute little patio. We sat inside, but they had the patio door open so we were almost outside without actually being outside. The weather was perfect, so it was nice! it's the small white building located right next to the Pennzoil oil change place. There is some parking on the side and additional parking behind Penzoil.
