We have felt like we’ve known him for a lifetime - he is genuine and makes you feel so welcome like we were are talking to a friend. Such a warm, friendly vibe and atmosphere, it has easily become one of our favorite NYC restaurants! If you’re looking for an intimate dining experience, best staff and out of this world food, you have to run here! We are blown away by the flavor and detail put into every bite. The wine pairings and truffle are just the cherry on top and they do not skimp on the truffle!!! We absolutely love this place and recommend to anyone visiting NYC or even local. If you love truffle, you HAVE to check out this spot. Food and cocktails were divine and the owners are the friendliest and warmest people. I didn’t think truffles would go with an espresso martini, but was pleasantly surprised - one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! A little on the pricier side, but truffles ain’t cheap and you get what you pay for. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Place to celebrate your anniversary with your loved one! Delicious foods, excellent service, and an elegant experience! Definitely 5 stars! I would recommend trying their appetizer (scallops and caviar with crispy croissant flavors is a legend! ) and pasta with and an additional $18 for the truffle. Definitely worth it!

I can't say enough great things about this adorable little place. The attention to detail, service, drinks, and food were all out of this world. If you enjoy truffles, this is a little slice of heaven. It has limited seating, so book a reservation if you can.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. Service was flawless, food was flawless, and overall it was worth every single penny. I’ve been dreaming of coming here for years (as someone living in NH) but since we were in town for the weekend, we got to stop in. This is Truffle Paradise!!! Must try. This place is phenomenal. I celebrated my birthday there with friends and we had such a great time, that we booked another reservation for my husband's birthday as well. The place is very cozy and small. Not too many people are there and it makes for an intimate experience. It is worth noting that the owner of the restaurant, Rudy, and his wife are around all the time and make sure that everyone has a great dining experience. The menu is small, but everything is simply delicious and super high quality. Everything from appetizers to dessert has truffles . This place is a gem. We are coming back in 2 weeks again as they are having a new chef visiting from Italy and will try new dishes. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Delicious, cozy, and oh-so-romantic! Perfect date spot in the Village. Generous pours of wine. Nice sized portions for apps and entrees alike. And you can add truffles to EVERYTHING! They even shave them table side and heap them on! A perfect date spot!! Or if you are a truffle lover!

This is a really great spot!!! The service is great, and friendly. The food is terrific, not to mention the absolute best vanilla ice cream we ever had - seriously!! We had: - Beef Carpaccio with Truffle - delicious - Bruschette Di Oak - Truffe ricotta mushroom gorgonzola and pear- so good! - Tagliolino Cacio e' Pepe - very good, a touch too strong - Vanilla Ice Cream with Truffle - best we ever had The space is small, literally the size of an alley but its flavors pack punch!

This place is amazing !!! So sad it is closing next month . Had been craving a restaurant with authentic truffles for a long time and was excited to find this one and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing. The married couple owners were super nice and friendly and the ambience was perfect. It is a small venue so be sure to make a reservation if you can, all the food can be infused somehow with truffles so be sure to try as many unique combinations as you can. Everything was amazing with a truffle flare from the cocktails to the entrées to the appetizers. Even the dessert had truffle oil infused in it, which made it unique and equally delicious . By far was one of my favorite places to go to New York.

This place was ok. I wasn't really feeling it to be honest. It was Friday night and just so happened to stumble on this spot. Walked right in and was able to get a table for 2. Awesome. But also kinda sus. It's a very small, intimate place which is great but to be empty on a Friday and able to walk in should've been a sign. Look, the pasta is fine. Not the best compared to its neighbors. Rigatoni felt hard. Portions are really small and it's very expensive for what it is, even without the truffles. With that said, the service was great and so was the staff. It's worth a try. Maybe others will feel different.

My BFF and I went here last night. The food, ambiance, and service far exceeded our expectations. This was our first time, and it won't be the last. The owners of the restaurant were there and walked us through the menu. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. We loved that they used the truffles that were in season. The menu is expertly curated with flavor-filled dishes. We had the salmon and tartare to start, my friend had the rigatoni, and I had the cacio pepe. We had the lemon meringue for dessert. They also had fabulous drinks. You must try the margarita infused with truffle honey and their Barolo. Once you are done dining, you can take a moment to leave a phrase on their wall. Grab a marker and get creative. If you love truffles, great food, wine, drinks, and service...this is the place!

Such a charming Italian restaurant in West Village. The owners are truffle-obsessed, and happy to share their passion with you through their menu. The setting is intimate, with a long, narrow dining area and only a dozen or so tables for two. For Valentine's Day, they decorated with a red theme and balloons. It's clear the owners care about the entire dining experience, including the space itself. Food was fantastic, well worth the splurge for a fancy dinner! They find creative ways to work truffles into the menu. The espresso martini, for example, had shaved truffle floating on top, and it tasted amazing. I didn't expect truffle to work here, but I was glad to be proven wrong. Appetizers were good - we tried the salmon tartare and the burrata with prosciutto. The burrata stole the show here, with a truffle-infused honey that really added something special to the dish. For mains, I had the lobster ravioli, and it was phenomenal. Lots of lobster packed into each raviolo, and a delicious sauce that was rich, but not too heavy. And yes, shaved truffle was a really nice touch. As far as fancy Italian meals go, this is a top notch destination for two!

I was sold at "Tuscan Truffle." I made sure to make a stop here during our stay in the city. I was able to get a reservation for 4 through Resy at 8pm. Upon entrance, we realized this restaurant was super small, housing roughly a dozen guests. It added to the charm along with the signatures/drawings on the walls. Along with drinks, we ordered: + BURRATA AL MIELE WITH FRESH SHAVED TRUFFLE: a super soft burrata with truffle oil and honey. This paired well over some truffle oiled bread. + TAGLIOLINO CACIO E PEPE: my friend ordered the cacio e pepe which was super flavorful. I'm not a huge fan as the pepper seems to always over power the dish. However, this was much more pleasant. + TAGLIOLINO CLASSICO: I ordered the classic truffle pasta. This was the perfect portion of creamy truffle-y goodness. They bring the dish to you and shave the truffles at the table. Hubby was a little upset that I didn't let him try a bite. Had I had the appetite, I would have loved to try the other dishes such as the truffled mashed potatoes. The service was great. It is a husband and wife owned restaurant and they make it such a fun experience with the light jokes here and there. They end your night by handing you a Sharpie pen to write something on the walls. I highly recommend the Oak Tuscan Truffle Lounge if you're in the mood for some truffled dishes. Buon appetito!

If you blink, you'll miss it - but all good things require effort (like truffle foraging!). It is a small space in the heart of west village. I was quite blown away by the meals here, and I'd say it's in my top 20 meals in nyc. The truffle cacio e Pepe is to die for, with fresh truffles sliced right on top of your meal at your table. All I can say it's heaven on earth - it's luxurious, savory, and not too heavy. I also got the Caesar salad and the truffle bread - which was also out of this world. The meals are on the smaller side for the price, but I don't think many places offer fresh truffles as this place does.

This place isn't for the faint of truffle lovers - unlike most places, they do not skimp on the truffle shavings here! Burrata al miele with truffle (4.5/5): my favorite dish of the meal! the burrata is fresh and tastes so great with the ciabatta bread with truffle oil from the bread basket -- this one got us making our "mhmm" satisfying faces :') Tagliolino with truffle e fonduta di parmigiano (3.5/5): even the generous truffle shaving mountain couldn't save the sauce for me, it was reminiscent of Kraft mac n cheese Brownie with ice cream and truffle honey (4/5): solid dessert and convinced me that I had to get my hands on truffle honey and drizzle it on everything I eat

Rudy Rudy Rudy, you are THE BEST. The establishment is to die for. Small, but packed with greatness in its menu. We started off with the salmon tartare and bread basket (ciabatta with truffle oil). I never know how truly marvelous it would to have pomegranate seeds and truffle in a tartare. It's a lot to say we were amazed in the first rounds, because I feel as if there are no words to truly describe the meal that we came for. But first. The drinks. The drink menu is limited to an aperol spritz, a beer if I'm not mistaken, and an extensive wine list. I got myself a delicious aperol spritz, and my fiance ordered a bottle of Super Tuscan that got me feeling a little funny (in a good way) by the time we left. In Rudy's words, they "want to serve food" and not some frou frou drinks. Totally understood! Next came the entrees: the rigatoni with lamb and the cacio e pepe. Wow wow wow. The presentation 100%. The flavor 100%. The satisfaction we felt finishing the last bite 100%. So so so good. THE DESSERT RUINED US. If you want to be able to order cannolis anywhere else, DO NOT ORDER HERE. It is too good. I almost cried. The tiramisu was also delicious, but the fiance and I could not shut up about the (honey) truffle-ified raspberry cannolis. Forever will be engrained in my memory. The ambience. It is a small little "walk up and down and you've seen everything" kind of place. But for Valentine's Day, it was decorated to the nines. It was very romantic, and Rudy and staff even gave us little chocolates and free limoncello shots. This place is it, please expect us back!

Everything is great until you realize you are high on truffle. The espresso martinis first sip is delicious but then the truffle is so overpowering. The pasta was salty, the risotto had less salt, the dessert was also loaded with truffle. There was no relief honestly. Although the concept is great, the food is average for the price. The decor is stunning and the service is nice.

We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday here and the restaurant did not disappoint. Aesthetics inside were modest and beautiful, making this an ideal date spot. The space feels a tight, but they're able to manage several tables in what feels like a long corridor. Truffle, truffle, truffle. You'll find truffle itself or some form of its essence in any one of the dishes. The prosciutto and burrata was delicious; the white truffle honey balanced the salty and creamy blend of the dish. My girlfriend got the risotto with white truffle, while I opted for the gnocchi with black truffle. Both are amazing to say the least and they shave the truffle into your dish in front of you. The white truffle is more expensive and it is a different truffle experience from the black truffle. The black truffle has an immediate pop of the truffle flavor, but flees in minutes. White truffle, on the other hand, subtly opens with the truffle taste and the flavor endures in your mouth for a much appreciated time. For dessert, we had the fior di latte ice cream. The truffle really shined and it makes you wonder why there isn't more truffle flavor in ice cream in the world. To wrap up this review in a bow, special thanks to Rudy for making us welcomed and for celebrating my girlfriend's birthday with festive sparklers. I am a die hard truffle fan, and my friend and I enjoyed a nice meal here recently. This teeny tiny restaurant seats maybe 7 tables so reservations are typically required. The atmosphere was shabby chic and I would say casual attire is suitable for dining here. The gregarious owner seated us and took our coats, and we were served water right away. I ordered a Negroni, and my friend ordered the truffle espresso martini. The special truffle drinks are made with truffle honey rather than simple syrup. It's a unique combination and the owner was proud to tell us all about the honey and let us taste it on its own. We split a Caesar salad to begin with. The Caesar is proportionally large and definitely plenty to share. I liked how finely chopped the lettuce was and the Sicilian anchovies that the dressing was made from were notable but not in an overly fishy way. My friend ordered the truffle cacio e Pepe and I ordered the tagliolini with pecorino cream and truffles. The black winter truffles were shaved on top table side and the pasta was Instagram worthy. This is definitely the spot if you love fresh truffles. The prices are super reasonable given that this is a special truffle based establishment in the middle of NYC. The friendly owner also helped us pick a bottle of wine. The wines here are all Italian and they tend to be a little bit more acidic than I prefer. We had the super Tuscan and it was fine but I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again. We enjoyed writing our names on the wall with the markers provided. Overall I loved the service and truffle experience here. It was a fun way to enjoy truffles in all of their glory without any pretentious fuss. i'm so glad I found this place as recommended by a tiktoker! very quaint and cozy restaurant. doesn't have more than 10 tables. we came for the Tagliolino Cacio E Pepe and it was delectable BUT winner was their veal bolognese. it was the perfect bite!! I also tried their truffle espresso martini and although I love everything truffle, this was prob my least favorite drink their chocolate brownie cake was ahhhmazing can't wait to come back for more

I love truffle anything so when my best friend and I drove by this small intimate restaurant, we were intrigued! Truffle can be added to anything here and we added it to all of our dishes. It did not disappoint. We had the Caesar salad, truffle burrata, and truffle espresso martinis!! She ordered the rigatoni truffle ragu and I ordered the truffle cacio e Pepe. For dessert we shared the pistachio truffle tiramisu-wow. Chef's kiss! The owner, Rudy, and staff are amazing! So hospitable, friendly and very kind. So happy that we bumped into this and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back!

My date was a huge fan of truffle and I came across this spot and knew i had to take her. First thing you notice is this place is small yet quaint. There were maybe 5 tables total so you don't get overwhelmed with the crowd. This actually makes for a great intimate experience, perfect for a date. The owners were there assisting and chatting with patrons. We ordered the cacio and filet mignon as it looked and sounded fantastic. First off the cacio was extremely creamy and tasted fantastic with the shaved truffle. Probably one of the best cacios I've had. The filet mignon came with foie gras on top. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and tasted oh so good with the foie gras. It had me savoring every bite and wishing there was more. This came with a side of mashed potatoes. I don't even like mashed potatoes but whatever it was made with was amazing enough that I ate all of it. For dessert, we had the cannoli with Nutella and mixed berry sauce on top. The dessert was crunchy and delicious, Nutella really making it so much better. Would recommend everyone to come try this place. The staff and owner is so personable and they make you feel at home!

We went to this restaurant and the food was some of the best I have ever had. Scratch that THE best I have ever had. We ordered the beef tartare, truffle Caesar salad, and we each got a truffle entree. We savored absolutely everything it was delicious. The service was also excellent. Are waters were instantly refilled, and the staff was extremely friendly. Very nice folks and we had a lovely conversation with the owner. The main host is a super great guy make sure to talk with him!! This restaurant had a very unique ambiance, in the best way possible. There were only about sixteen seats, far enough away for privacy. They also give you pens if you wanted to draw on the walls. Such a fun experience, make sure to check out all the funny truffle jokes and puns people have written. Overall this was an incredible restaurant. Highly recommend!! (Although make sure you get reservations.)

One of the best dinner's I've had in years! If you love truffles this place is obviously a must! The cacio e pepe was amazing. Also tried the lobster ravioli with truffle caviar- incredible. The truffle caviar is a must try and you can't skip dessert!

This place should satisfy your truffle fix. They shave the truffle at table side once the food is ready and anything that doesn't come with truffle, can have it added on for $15. We ordered the lobster salad and added truffle also which I forgot to take a photo of, but it was 1 of the best salads I've had and I don't particularly like salads to begin with. It was pretty hearty with roasted pine nuts and a decent serving of lobster, the fresh shaved truffle just put it over the top. The truffle pasta with black pepper was excellent, everything I was expecting and the sauce was tasty from the fresh black pepper that I cleaned up the plate. The burger was a bit of a surprise, I ordered this instead of an appetizer since the truffle pasta has no protein with it. The burger was cooked medium rare and can be adjusted based on your preference, plus I added truffle on it. It's paired with truffle potatoes that were well seasoned. I'd say the burger was enough to eat if that's the only thing you order, but the truffle pasta is almost like an appetizer in terms of portion size. To finish dinner, as if there wasn't enough truffle, I didn't know I needed truffle honey in my life until I had this ice cream. It was amazing with the dried figs. Definitely going back to try a couple other menu items!

Small but cozy place, nice and friendly staff. If you like truffle, you would definitely like this place. Almost everything is cooked in truffle oil. Appetizers were great: fried eggs, potatoes are great. Bread is delicious but it is not complementary (3$). Pasta and Raviolis are good but nothing special. The filet was cooked to perfection, well seasoned, delicious steak sauce. In my opinion, the desert should not be cooked with truffle oil, your taste buds get confused between savory and sweet. A little pricy though. Overall, great experience.

Definitely make a reservation for this spot as it's a small space with tight seating (about 5 tables only)! The food is amazing, and you can opt to add truffle on every single dish. We ordered 4 items: the Octopus Salad, Burrata Al Miele, Tagliolino Cacio e Pepe, and Filet Mignon Rossini. Highly recommend the first 3. The octopus in the Octopus Salad is super soft and tender and you can tell the chef spent some heart massaging it. The Burrata Al Miele is the perfect combo of sweet and savory from the mix of honey and truffle. It comes with bread on the side for the burrata. The pasta in the Tagliolino Cacio e Pepe was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was super really creamy and nicely peppered. I got a really fatty piece (almost all fat) for the Filet Mignon, which I didn't particularly enjoy, but the flavors of the dish and potato puree it was paired with were nice.

It got lovely dining atmosphere, only 6 small tables for 2 people dining and 1 large table. The owner made a good explanation of the menu and introduced which one goes well with black or white truffle. I ordered Tagliolino with white truffle adds on for $95 and my bf ordered ragu rigatoni with black truffle. Both were really delicious. I absolutely adore the scent of white truffle which was further enhanced by the creamy pasta. The only thing about this place is everything is very salty. I'd suggest order something light to balance out.

Atmosphere - a really tight, dimly lit restaurant that only seats a couple of parties at a time. I would not recommend for those who may be claustrophobic or would prefer to be six feet apart from their neighbor, as the windowless restaurant is barely wider than my apartment foyer. Other than that, a really intimate place for date night. We showed up a bit early but wasn't able to be seated till about 10-15min after our reservation time due to our previous party showing up late. There's not really anywhere to wait except outside, so not ideal if the weather is shitty (it was only a slight drizzle when we went). The menu is pretty small. All items include truffles or could have truffles added. The options are black truffle for an additional $15 or white truffle for $140. We did not try any items with the white truffle. We got the calamari and filet mignon tartare to start. The filet mignon was well seasoned, great flavor with the arugula and the side of bread (it says $3 on the menu but I don't think they typically charge for it). The calamari (off the special menu) was a bit too salty IMO. The tagliolino was fantastic. The pasta is incredibly fresh, maybe some of the best in NY. The sauce for the gnocchi was a bit of a miss for us - would not recommend. The truffle is very subtle, not as potent as some of the other restaurants in the city we've been to, but maybe that's because we got the cheaper of the two truffles. We finished off the meal with the cannoli, which the owner also provided free of charge. Fantastic cannoli, great pastry shell, chocolate filling will have you coming back for more, more incredible due to the fact that it was free. Overall, romantic spot, hit or miss on the appetizers, pasta incredibly fresh and delicious, free amazing cannoli. Service is super attentive and the owner constantly checked on us. The night left us with a $270 bill (including tip), not bad for a Greenwich Village restaurant.

Hubby found this place & we decided to stop by, had our rsvp so when we arrived a little late we did call no issues. Once seated we started with a Bottle of wine, Pinot Grecio was good went well with our meal. To start the Burrata & Prosciutto was delicious, melt in your mouth Burrata perfect match with the Bread w Truffle oil yummy combo. On the food I had the Cacio e Pepe pasta very good, also the Cacio e pepe Ravioli's nice twist w these very tasty. Also tried the Gnocchi & Pasta ragu, gnocchi was delicious nice light tasting very good sauce & the Ragu was very good as well, all meals with added truffle of course! Such a small restaurant but very quaint, dimly lit nice ambiance almost feels like u are not in NYC very cute & cozy inside. Service was very good they were attentive & on top of asking if we needed anything. Price wise doable , overall we had a yummy truffle dinner & a nice evening certainly worth the try. Review#1700

Wow! Just wow!! Decided to check out this tiny hole in the wall (literally! It's just 6' wide) because it looked so cute from the outside. Everything on the menu comes with truffle (yum!) I ordered the Filet Mignon w shaved truffles on top, and OMG!! It was amazing! My husband ordered the burger with shaved truffle and said it was the best burger he had ever had!! And is still telling people about it! This place is not inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth it! We agreed that the next time we go we are going to order two extra burgers to take home for lunch the next day! P.S., Don't skip on the shaved truffle (which is an option). It's 100% worth the extra $15!!!

What a culinary delight!!!! Everything truffle! And when I say truffle.. they literally shave and shave and shave that black beautiful gem into all your dishes... we had the salmon tartare, kale salad and the roasted potatoes... please save room for the truffle oil chocolate cannolis.... perfection!!

SUMMER 2020 REVIEW: If you're looking to indulge in your love of truffle, Oak Tuscan is the spot you want to go. Here are a couple things to know: 1. There is outdoor seating but is limited to smaller parties. I would call ahead if you have a large party. 2. Portions are small for the price point. But the ingredients are quality. 3. The cacio e Pepe is more of a mushroom truffle cream sauce... and comes with fresher noodles. 4. The menu has an option to add truffle to EVERYTHING. Definitely go for it if that's you're thing. It's a good spot in the West Village to fulfill a specific craving.

Hands down one of my fave Italian spots in NYC. First off, the service was incredible. Rudy and his wife made us feel at home. We came here for my niece's 21st birthday because she loves truffle, and the food, familial vibe, and ambiance did not disappoint. I made a reservation ahead of time which I'd recommend since there are only 5-6 tables and the restaurant is very small and intimate. We were a party of 4 and sat closest to the kitchen. I believe we had the steak tartare as a starter. I LOVED the bread that came with it. It wasn't a skimpy amount of meat being offered, either. We then ordered the gnocchi and 3 cacio e pepe dishes which already had truffle included (there's a menu that includes truffle for all items). Some of the best gnocchi and pasta I've had (and trust me, I am very picky about both dishes). They really took homemade to a whole new level. My niece chose the cannoli as her birthday dessert and it was the best cannoli I've had. The Nutella inside was spot on but it was the flakiness of the pastry dough that did it for me. It wasn't all stale like a lot of other "cannolis" I've had before. We hit it off with Rudy, the owner, really well and could tell how much this business meant to him and his wife. So happy we found this gem! It's not a tourist trap and I'm happy as a former NY resident to have found this place for my family to dine at. Btw it is NOT cheap and you're paying for quality! So definitely treat yourself and your party when coming here.

Walking in, the space felt cozy, quaint, and intimate yet not cramped when completely filled. Service staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to all patrons. We ordered the 3 appetizers - burrata, tuna tartare, and scallops - and the lobster ravioli to share between two people. The fresh truffle shavings were extremely generous and not overpowering for the burrata and ravioli. While not covered in truffle, the scallops and tartare were accompanied by a small dose of caviar. We finished off with dessert - tiramisu and espresso martini. The martini had truffle shavings in which added an interesting and unexpected depth of flavor. Worlds narrowest restaurant! Pretty basic menu-offering pasta, risotto or tar tars with truffles on it. The restaurant smells strong like truffle! I had the basic pasta with fondue sauce and black truffles. I didn't splurge for the white truffles since I'm cheap and the small plate of pasta with black truffle was already overpriced ($44). It was good al dente pasta, but honestly not the best. The black truffle wasn't as sharp of a flavor as I hoped and my husband added salt to the pasta which was needed. I would have added a lot of crushed black pepper, I think that would have made it so good but I split the dish and my husband doesn't like a lot of black pepper and I like him so I do what he wants! It went well with a dark red wine that the server recommended. Overall, not worth the price at all, I've had much better pastas. Service was good.

It was my first time trying fresh truffles. Food was ok! The Salmon was a little bit overcooked. And the food took a long time to come out. The owner was very friendly. overall good experience but overpriced

Wow. Every dish was better than the other one. And they were all out of this world pricey, but well worth it. the buratta w truffles was the starter. One word. Amazing. the tagliano w truffles was next. One word. Amazing. the Oak burger w yes, you guessed it, truffles was the close out. Also, very good. We have the Nebbiolo wine which was very good and prices at $65. Definitely worth a repeat.

Ah I feel guilty a little bit for not giving this place more stars as I really liked the staff and ambiance but I also want to be honest. I'm really into the ambiance. It's just beautiful with a chandelier, brick walls painted over with black paint with little sayings like "I will always love you" written in unique spots. It has charming touches like intricate light fixtures on each table. It's a narrow restaurant, which gives it an intimate effect. We started off with the bruschette. I enjoyed it. It was $14 for 2 pieces and each had a different sauce (one tartufa and the other sundried tomatoes). My friend had the Tagliolino Cacio & Pepe ($27). I thought the sauce was creamy and quite good, but I was also not in love with it for some reason. I had the filet mignon with the potatoes and I was not really into it... maybe I was not feeling the wine reduction. I'm not sure. I've just had better steaks in the city. I feel like I was not really tasting the truffle in the way that I expected it. I tasted it the most in the complimentary bread. In terms of service, they are very sweet and kind so I feel bad but it's possible they just need more support like maybe another bus boy or a separate host etc. I felt like the host was also the waitress for the entire restaurant. We were seated at 7:40 pm and we received bruschette 30 minutes later. Then my friend got her entree 50 minutes after we were seated. She was really hungry and had finished her entree by the time I got my entree, which was at 8:40 pm. I think it's okay though but it's something to just sort of keep in mind that it takes some time to prepare. Little things like receiving the complimentary bread-- we didn't receive it so we had to ask for it. Or just like our water being refilled- we didn't receive it so we would have to like try to wave out and let someone know etc. The owner or chef did check in at one point like 55 minutes into our meal and he said like "everything good?" And we were like "yeah!" Because he seemed to be in a rush and also we were being polite but I actually didn't have my entree yet even though my friend had almost finished hers! I appreciated the owner/chef checking in though! The host/waitress was also very kind. Another random thing is I feel like they should have more non alcoholic drink options... they did not even have regular coke, just diet- which is not a big deal but just interesting.

This is going to be a long review so stick with me here! It's worth it!! I reserved a table for myself and my best friend and we showed up about 10 minutes early. The beautiful blonde woman sat us right away as they literally only have a few tables. The decor is quite simple, black painted brick walls, a large chandelier and a few photos on the walls. A few minutes later a handsome gentleman came over to greet us and tell us about specials etc. Everything he spoke about sounded more impressive than the first. We started off with the Burrata Al Miele. The black shaved truffles on top complimented the subtle burrata on top of arugula and a balsamic reduction perfectly. I ordered for my entree, the Filet Mignon "Rossini". It has fois gras, baby spinach, roasted potatoes in a Barolo wine reduction. This I think, was the best dish. The filet was cooked beautifully, the reduction blended in with the woodsy earthy tone of the truffles. Amazing. My best friend ordered the Tagliolino Classico. It is handmade pasta with a Oak signature parmigiano dop truffle sauce. He also paid a bit more to have white truffles shaved on top. To me this wasn't my favorite but still was amazing. We also ordered a side of Piselli E Pancetta. Sweet peas with imported pancetta and black truffles. Again outstanding. Now dessert. Fior di latte ice cream with figs, pine nuts and truffle honey. The honey truly brings the dish to fruition. Delicious and the figs!! I didn't catch the name of the brownie dessert because it's a special but it was amazing as well. TBH this is the best restaurant I have ever had in my life. Complex flavors by combining simple ingredients prepared with love. You can tell that in each and every dish. I will be back again and again.

Had a phenomenal meal there last night. Rudy and Svetlana were both welcoming and extremely nice to talk to throughout our dinner. We had a daily special bruschetta which was amazing. I then had the special veal bolognese with truffles and my wife had pasta with shrimp and zucchini, garlic and tomatoes. Everything we had including the MmmMmmm desert was delicious. Also was fun writing on the walls after dinner. Definitely recommend and will be back when in NYC again.

Impeccable, what an expierence - Highly recommend! Rudy and his wife welcomed my roommate and I to their decadent restaurant and it was remarkable. Rudy was extremely personable telling us the story of the restaurant, how they fared through covid and even giving us the history of the truffles he sources. His love for his restaurant and customers shines through his food. We started with the burrata with honey truffle and split 2 pastas the lobster ravioli and the Tagliolino Cacio peppe with added shaved truffle. They offer every dish as described on the menu or you can add $10/dish for added shaved truffle. They make the restaurant so welcoming to all customers and create and incredibly intimate atmosphere with the dark colored walls,quotes about love, pasta, truffles and a remarkable centerpiece chandelier at the center of the restaurant. Definitely a perfect date spot for truffle lovers. Would definitely go back and have already recommended and shared through social media!

Amazing! The food is soooo good and the best part is how generous they are with the truffle shavings. It's a very small intimate place only 6-8 tables, no bar.. but that's why all the focus is on the food and they definitely hit the nail on the head. Service is wonderful as well!

Rudy and Svetlanna are incredible! The customer service and food both equal 10/10. Amazing experience. Will definitely come back! My boyfriend was a little unsure of truffle and now he is so on board! Especially after the truffle espresso martini. If you're visiting nyc, this place is 100% worth it!

Delicious! If you love truffle please go! My bestie and I went and had such a great time. The food is amazing, service is really good. It's a small spot so not great for big parties. I'll definitely return.

This place is a dream come true for truffle lovers!! I live in San Francisco and will for sure add it on my list of places that I must go back next time I visit NYC. We had a burrata with truffle and arugula, the truffle potatoes, and 2 pastas, one with truffle and the other one a gnocchi with fresh tomatoes. Everything was fantastic, fresh, and really delicious! They're very generous with the truffle serving, in most places they give you 3 small pieces of shaved truffles and at Oak Tuscan they really make sure you get a good amount. The ambiance is really nice as well, black brick wall with cute quotes , only about 8 tables, with low light and pleasant music! You can still talk and enjoy dinner without being too loud. Service is amazing, everyone was very nice!! Can't wait to be back!!

90% of the menu has truffle. A lot of it! If you are a truffle fan like myself, this is the place to eat! The steak tartar came covered with shaved truffles on a bed of arugula and quail egg on top. My Ciaccio Pepe was also covered with freshly shaved truffles. The sauce was wonderful and cheesy. But my favorite was the creamy milky gelato with toasted pine nuts and minced dried figs finished with white ruffle oil honey. This was a perfect ending for my truffled dinner.

This place is so unique and a great intimate spot in NYC. There are only about 7 tables but that's what makes the experience that much better. The restaurant itself has an amazing ambiance and feels homey. The owners really make the experience so much better as they engage with customers. They even brought out a huge plate of truffles to show us. As for the food, there was not a single thing that we tried and weren't WOW'd by. We got the Burrata and Prosciutto with added black truffle, Cacio e Pepe with truffle, Lamb Ragu, Filet Mignon, and for the dessert the mmmmm so good. I highly recommend all those options. For drinks, we got the VIP Spritz and the Espresso Martini which is topped with truffle - honestly a surprisingly, great combination. They are not stingy with the truffles at all - we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of truffle given for each plate. If you love truffles and an intimate ambiance, you absolutely need to come here!! Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful philosophy! What a welcoming atmosphere! Rudy and Svetlana served up one of the most delicious suppers I have *ever* enjoyed (lobster salad and filet) and made me feel as if I were at home in their kitchen. I wish I were in NYC more often. Grazie mille!

Like the name suggests, this cute little restaurant in West Village is all about Truffles!! (The mushroom, not the chocolate). I like the idea for a themed restaurant, and they do a good job incorporating truffle oil into all the dishes with an optional truffle shaving on top (black truffle was ~$9/plate, white truffle was more). During covid, they have a few tables outside their restaurant on the street. On a weekend I'd recommend a reservation as all the tables filled up. Service was pretty good throughout the meal and I believe it was the owner himself who took some of our orders. It was a little harder to get the waiters attention later during the meal though as it got busier. For the meal, we went straight for the pastas and tried the tagliolino cacio e pepe with extra truffle and the lobster ravioli, a special of the day. Both pastas were quite good! The tagliolino was quite buttery and creamy and had a clear truffle taste without being overwhelming. The lobster ravioli didn't have much truffle at all, but was very enjoyable as a seafood pasta. Finally, for dessert we tried the chocolate cannolis. These were perhaps the strongest truffle flavor of the night which was surprising and unique. Overall, if you're looking for a decadent truffle-rich meal, this is an interesting dining experience that's worth a stop. Would recommend!

Outstanding service & food! Owner Rudy is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome. He and his wife have created a cozy & elegant Tuscan restaurant focused on the famed truffle. I went with the most popular dish... Tagliolino Cacio & Pepe with black truffle. So full of flavor! The waiter came by to shave fresh truffles onto the pasta. What a delight! This dish is filling for one person ($41) and you may not have room for dessert lol There is a wine menu and other truffle infused dishes. You can basically add truffles to anything you order for an added charge. The decor from crystal chandelier to the loving quotes written on the walls, gives an intimate and cozy feel. Great for a romantic evening date or any dinner for two. There is a restroom available and Rudy even had an iPhone charger and cellphone light to take photos! Wonderful experience!

Very cute restaurant that is on the smaller side but chic and the owners are quite cordial. There's every bit to savor from their pasta and it is a paradise for truffle lovers. The wine list is quite nice. Be aware that reservations are required in advance and there's a cancellation fee if you don't show. Will definitely return soon.
