Oakberry Acai Bowls & Smoothies | Upper West

I was really excited to try Oakberry but it did not live up to the hype. I ordered the Power Punch smoothie and didn’t notice until after I paid but I was charged an additional $3.50 for protein even though there’s already protein included. Odd. And there was an automatic $3 tip added, so my total was almost $25 for one smoothie. If it was good, I wouldn’t mind as much, but it was extremely sweet and I unfortunately had to throw it out. Did not taste fresh at all, and just super sweet. Maybe their bowls are better..

I ordered from OAKBERRY 72nd St 24oz Açaí bowl. They never sealed it or closed the cover correctly. It came delivered like this. It was left at my front door. When I called the store the guy said he made my order and there is nothing he can do about it. This is terrible and disgusting. I love OAKBERRY. Go to the other locations but do not go to this one. Bad service.

I used to go to this location all the time, but the quality is so inconsistent. The fruit toppings are often old/mushy, and many times they don't even have the fresh fruit toppings available. I would understand if there were many different fruits to choose from, but there are only 3 (strawberry, banana and blueberry), so you would think they'd be able to be more consistent. The quality of the acai at Oakberry is the best, so just go to a different location where they can manage their toppings better!

Oakberry is a smoothie and juice bar chain with locations worldwide. One of their newest locations opened last month in the Upper West Side. The storefront is small, non-descript looking and has no signage whatsoever. You can easily miss it if you are walking too quickly. Honestly, I almost gave up on visiting this location. They have strange hours which aren’t posted anywhere. On my first two visits they were closed--I went around 6:30pm and the next day at 6pm. Finally, on my third try at 5:30pm, I found them open. At Oakberry’s the bowls and smoothies come in three sizes (The Classic 12oz, The Works 16oz and The Oak 24oz) and in cups (not bowls). Regular toppings are unlimited. They are also Kosher, gluten free, lactose free, and GMO free. I got The Works Acai Bowl with Granola, Almonds, Bananas, Strawberries, and Almond Butter. It was delicious and so refreshing! The fruit was fresh, and the acai was sweet. It’s one of the better tasting acai bowls I’ve had. I especially liked that they layer the granola and almonds with the acai which made every bite perfect. The Works at 16oz was very big and I was full afterwards. Probably should have gotten The Classic instead. Overall, it was very good but I must note that this was one of the more expensive acai bowl that I’ve ever purchased. While it was really delicious, it was a splurge.

Finally caved and decided to try an acai bowl to see what all the fuss is about. Love at first bite! I have tried acai hotels at several other places but Oakberry is by far the best-- live their pb crunch and wide variety of options. Heartbroken that they for ride off cashew butter-- please bring it back!! 🙏 😋

My acai bowl was OK, but I can't really recommend it, given that Juice Generation is both higher quality and lower-priced, and is on the same block.

Insanely good açaí. As in, best I’ve ever had, by some margin. Priced at 2023 inflation rates, which should come down at some point. Still, can’t beat the product. So five stars.

Today we visited your store. Someone was standing at the entrance smoking weed.We entered the store to buy acai for our little daughters .To our surprise, the women who was standing and smoking outside came in and turned out to be working there.Not all of us are drug users!! Not all of us are interested in receiving food prepared seconds after Someone smoked. We ,of course will not return to your place until you learn to respect the health of your costumers.It is unacceptable for someone to smoke and second later,when the store smells of drugs,they touch the food intended for young girls

Quick service and custom options for those who want pure açaí without added sugars and fats via granola, coconut flakes, etc. WiFi is available but no restrooms or space to truly sit down and enjoy. Best for on-the-go. Convenient location by train station and Central Park West.

So delicious! Current favorite obsession is Oakberry açaí bowls. Worth every penny. Yes it's not cheap but the quality is amazing, it's a light and healthy feeling treat, and the folks at this store do a great job making them! I never had açaí before I tried this. Yum!

Really expensive and mediocre taste. I've had much better. I can't believe I was charge close to $15 for a medium cup of the smoothie with some peanut butter coconut red bananas, blueberries and strawberries. Really not worth the price.

This was not good. Bitter and bland. Didn't want to finish it but forced myself because of the price.
