"A new restaurant opened in Rosedale: Oakmont Food Company took over the former Doc’s Motorworks address at 1106 West 38th Street as of Saturday, July 18. Chef Adam Muehling (previously of catering company Crave) is overseeing the menu, which is full of what it deems as healthier American and Texan dishes, with gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options, as well as grab-and-go dishes and a kids menu. For drinks, there are cocktails and cold-pressed juices. The restaurant is open for dine-in and patio service as well as curbside pickups." - Nadia Chaudhury

Honestly loved how good everything was. Really good burger everything about it flowed got the sweet potato fries and they were amazing love the match stick style. We also got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Again great fresh taste though the blue cheese was a little bit overpowering still good. My boyfriend got the house margarita and it tasted so fresh and good. Got some macaroons that where so nice and soft. Overall a really good experience. The service was good bartender was super nice as well.

This was a great place to eat during lunch. My coworkers and I went here to celebrate a birthday and everyone loved the meals they had. It was a little noisy in there with a full restaurant so we had to almost shout to hear each other, but that didn't bother me, just thought I'd point it out for those looking for a more quiet atmosphere. Our server lady was awesome!

I was looking forward to a decent restaurant next to the hospital. The host said outdoor seating was available during lunchtime; however, it took a while before someone came to take my order. Mediocre is the best word to describe this place. I wanted a meal that would be quick and easy, so I ordered avocado toast. I would not describe this as a quick meal. As with the service, it took some time to get to me. I found the "smashed avocado" and pickled onion unfavorable. Being from the Deep South, where biscuits are served with almost every meal, I am always on the lookout for good biscuits. The first biscuit came out inedible. It was hard. I asked for another one, and although it looked better, it was inedible. It had a strong flavor of baking powder. Maybe the next time I am near the hospital, I will give them another chance.

Terrific menu. Breakfast is served all day. The restaurant is bright and airy. They have a dessert case that looks very tempting. Watermelon limeade has a surprisingly strong fruit infusion, which was wonderful and served straight up, so it wasn't watered down slowly by ice. The Breakfast Plate had delicious fingerling potatoes with great seasonings.  The sourdough toast was fresh, and the mixed fruit was a great mix: cantaloupe, pineapple, orange, and grapefruit. Service was average. First bartender was very friendly. After her shift ended and the next bartender arrived, I finished eating and was ready to leave. The bartender was talking to another staff member behind the bar, with her back to all the bar customers.  She also checked her phone. I waited patiently and finally waved my arms and got the other employee's attention to get my bill.

The atmosphere was super cute, my waitress was so sweet and the food was amazing! I’m definitely coming here again. Also I can’t just not talk about the beautiful presentation of my breakfast plate. They put it together so beautifully.

Nice place.stopped in to have brunch. I had the biscuits and gravy. I think it was the best thing we had on the table. The cocktails were also good. I would come back.

The cocktail was good. But the chicken was cooked to death. The fries were ok. A spacious outside patio was pleasant to sit on a warm winter day. They also have in house cheesecake and other backed goodies. I appreciate the consideration to girls needs in the bathroom.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast. Great atmosphere and the service was very warm, friendly, and we never had to wait on a drink. 😀 We'll be back for lunch and to enjoy the deck outside with some drinks. My wife's pupusas were on point with a nice green chile sauce and slaw, and my grilled chorizo avocado and cheese was excellent.
